TASK 008 - STEP INTO MY HOME

For SDHQ's eighth task, you will need to make a post showing everyone what your muses' homes look like. You will need to include:

What kind of house is it? (House, flat/apartment, bungalow, etc.)

Who else lives there? (inc. pets)

Where is it? (broadly speaking, Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, London, etc. and also if it is above a shop or place of business)

What is the layout of the house? (this can be a written description or drawn floor plan)

What do the communal areas look like? (kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, garden, etc.)

What does their bedroom look like? (think colour scheme, aesthetic, decor, essential items, etc)

A written description is required to ensure that each question is answered. Photos are greatly encouraged for this task which you can get off Pinterest, your search engine's image search or wherever else. You can choose how these are laid out (i.e. copied into the post, Tumblr's photo feature, an edit, etc.). If any of your muses share their home with another muse in the RP, please confer with the other mun(s) involved to ensure that the layout and any communal areas are the same. TASK 005: Holiday Memories

For the fifth task of this RP, we would like you to write a one shot of your character’s favorite winter holiday memory. It can be about a specific Christmas or New Years, a more general activity they take part in / carry out to celebrate, related to the aforementioned holidays or not. This can be written in the form of a flashback, your character thinking about or preparing for this tradition or actually taking part / carrying out the tradition.

As always, you do not have to do this task for all of your characters if you play more than one but we do encourage you to write for at least one and hopefully more to help with character development. There is no minimum or maximum word limit and please tag the post under #sdhqtask5.

We realize that if a character’s might include another character in the RP and may make god-modding unavoidable for a one shot. If this is the case, what you write must be a flashback so the actions have already happened or your character thinking about what the plans are / preparing for it so minimal actions of another character is involved. Flashbacks must be discussed with mun(s) of other characters and, once written, must be approved before posting to avoid rule-breaking. If this does not happen, please bring it to our attention as soon as possible.

TASK 004: COSTUME CONTEST

Sleepingdragonhq’s fourth task relates to the upcoming Autumn Festival. On the last day of the festival, there is to be a costume contest hosted by the Gossip Witches. Anyone who dresses up will be a part of the contest. There will be a vote starting halfway through the event but in order to take part you must do the following:

Send into the main what your character(s) is/are going to dress up as for Halloween so that we can compile a list for characters and their costumes. If your character is not dressing up, please say so and they will not be added.

Post a picture / edit of your characters’ costume under the tag #sdhqtask4. It does not need to be anything elaborate but it will be what we ask you to base your voting off of so try and include as much detail as possible to better your chance (outfit, shoes, jewelry, makeup, etc.).

You will have until the 24th of October to do steps one and two. After that, we will post a link to a Google Form where you will vote for your top five costumes. While it is anonymous, we ask that you try and avoid voting for only your own characters. Base them off the posts in the task tag above.

If you do not post a picture / edit, you cannot take part in the contest. Any vote placed for that character will not be counted.

TASK 006 - POP CULTURE CHARACTER AESTHETICS

For this roleplay’s 6th task, we’d like you to imagine what character from pop culture (literature, film, musicals, etc.) that your muse can relate to and make an aesthetic for them inspired by that !! This can be a character from any fandom except from the Harry Potter universe.

We understand not everybody has access to Photoshop, there’s no ‘right’ way to format the aesthetic. You can even do it by uploading an even amount of images as a photo post to create the aesthetic. Some examples of how the aesthetics could look like can be found here, here, here and here.
