WHY IS VERITY BEING ADAPTED???

the other day (28th feb) marked exactly a year anniversary since I started my first Hazbin fic, If You Can't Say Somethin' Nice, Don't Say Nothin' At All. It's an Alastor x Reader fic where the reader perspective is my sinner OC, Verity, and I thought to mark the occasion (a few days late) I would draw her again for the first time in a LONG time.

I'm feeling nostalgic I guess ❤️ That fic was the first one I'd EVER properly finished in my life ever, and was the proper start of my journey as a fandom creator in 2024. I owe it pretty much everything. Without that fic, I wouldn't still be here now posting stupid shit on the internet under this name.

Really love how effectively the posession is conveyed through lighting tricks and body language.

I actually love the way the age gap is handled in rote between these two. How they wouldn't have chosen each other in other circonstances but they definitely belong together.

To offer some recap, Theo, Eiji, and Belial headed to Oleander Street first to reclaim their stolen things from the thieves. They met with Jude and had a tussle, but little was resolved. This starts here.

Then we saw Chiaki, Nagisa, and Keegan form their own group to find the stolen things AND their now missing friends. They encounter Harley, but have a more civil interaction because he and Chiaki have met before. This scene begins here.

And today, we open with Micah, Verity, and Nara, now also on their own separate trip to Oleander Street. Our heroes are all here (even if Micah and Verity didn't intend to come before). We only saw them briefly before now this chapter here.
