my sds theory

OK, so my theory talks about why Meliodas has blonde hair and why him and Zeldris have green eyes. They have those genes because they had a mother. A queen of demons. Now this might sound like speculation but I have many reasons. Number one: their eye color.

For this part I need you to name all the characters that are demons and have an original eye color. The only ones that should have popped up in your mind must have been Meliodas, Zeldris, Tristan, Gloxinia, Drole, and Estarossa.

Gloxinia and drole are from different races being gigant and fairy. Tristan is a nyphilim so he has 2 eye colors. Estarossa because he is Mael. But what about Meliodas and Zeldris?

In the prisioners of the sky movie, we meet Solad, and alternate Meliodas. In that universe Solad’s dad mentions that Solad’s mother had died at the hands of a red demon. And since this in a parallel universe, then that means that in put sds universe, Meliodas had a mother and since the roles are reversed she was killed by a goddess.

but….why would I think that?

Let me ask you, what was the reason the demon king and the supreme deity started the holy war? Because they hated each other? That’s a stupid reason. Plus, Chaos was sealed away so no problem with that.Or maybe, perhaps, because the goddesses killed the queen of demons. It makes perfect sense. The goddesses killed the queen of demons as a declaration of war. The demon king accepted it and so the holy war started.

But why kill her?

Now the only ones that were left as we see in the anime were Zaneri, and Jena.

Maybe, Meliodas’ mom was a Druid that fell in love with the king of demons. But the goddess clan didn’t forgive her after finding out about her relationship with the demon king. So, when they had a chance….they killed her as a declaration of war to the demons. And so, creating the first holy war.

it was all the supreme deity’s plan….

Worreldane and merlin

So if the theory that Merlin in lions is true

Why not contact any of the other sins especially meliodas and Elizabeth

Maybe she that afraid of chaos,or maybe something else happened maybe Merlin got turn old by chaos or someone else like Worreldane

It been said that maybe Worreldane from merlins old home that the SD and Dk destroyed

Other think Worreldane and Merlin were students under demon clan/ of gowther

Other think she one of Merlin former students

Worreldane said to be an old mage ,so if that's true she could maybe be one of the 3 things I mentioned

If she upset with merlin do to 2 things ,Merlin getting there home destroyed,or her being a former student of Merlin she may hold a grudge against her like Vivian does

So I can see these two possibly fighting in the future and I'm sure we'll get more on the white witches backstory since she seems like such an important character who's linked to Merlin from what Elizabeth said and one of the recent chapters

She could possibly be an old friend of Merlin's or like I said a student and she could possibly cited with Arthur wanting to seek out Merlin and get revenge on her but I don't think she's letting the revenge part be known or she could just be seeking out Merlin for one other purpose and maybe that's why she cited with Arthur because they're both looking for Merlin

I actually hope we get to see more interactions between the two in the future

I especially think that Worreldane may have some hitting agenda we might not know about this is just me guessing at this point but she could be the character that could be a standing for Arthur's sister who's always appeared and aetherian legends Morgana or in some versions Morgan lafaye , Arthur's sometimes biological sister through uther penragon, and in some versions she's Arthur's half sister through his mother queen igdeg

Cuz I'm not sure if we'll see Morgan lafaye in 4 knights or not or maybe we will because in some versions of some stories like even in some of the green night stories and even in the green night movie we're going to lafaye was Gwaine mother instead of mordreds so we might not even see Mordred in this story

Worreldane turn on Arthur and try to take him out is a way to get revenge on Merlin because if there's a possibility she wants revenge on Merlin what better way to get revenge on her then taking out something she takes so much pride in and put so much effort in for 3000 years Arthur and chaos itself

Even though we've only seen her only a little bit in the story I wouldn't be shocked if something like this happened I'm hoping we do get some twist like this where we end up finding out we have to fight her for some reason at some point in the future I think it'd be an interesting thing to see in the story but I'm also thinking some other things will happen with Worreldane down the line I don't think she going to die but will play a bigger role in the funeral especially if she ends up fighting Merlin in the future

We see that she's there along with Arthur and the other four evils but we also see in the cloud of smoke to the left a silhouette in the smoke that could possibly be Merlin

I love you Transformers, but even SD Gundam Force has a depiction of an APS (active protection system) in it. I'm talking about the specialized guns on certain tanks, military trucks, and ships that detect missiles and destroy them at a distance (hard-kill system), and about flares or laser systems that confuse heat-seeking missiles (soft-kill system.)

In real life, missiles are super destructive. they don't dramatically miss when fired at point blank so protagonists can leap away from explosions.

There's air to surface missiles, surface to air missiles, air to air missiles, surface to surface missiles, it's pretty much missiles all around. Some can pierce tanks easily, to the point where reactive tank armor is designed to explode with an opposite force when struck, negating some of the blast.

It's not WWI okay, modern air dogfights are some guy firing missiles at you and it's not like TV where you Dodge the Missiles. Air superiority planes have laser dazzlers and flares because infrared guidance systems are very sophisticated nowadays. Like, what do you think 'stealth aircraft' is about? Modern ordinance is so effective that the first 'defense' is not being detected or the other guy not being able to get a lock. If it's fired at all it's going to destroy something (expensive) unless it's disabled.

I understand that action shows and movies-- Transformers being one example-- do not want to depict a default lethality. Death happens to mooks, or when it's time for a Main Character to redeem their audience investment. But at this point the IP Movie Phenomenon has gone on so long and made so much money it can't help but ask adult audiences to be taken seriously.

At best most media that features 'armed conflict' is stuck in a pre-modern mindset because the current reality is depressing. It's not heroic for all sides to have 'prevent resistance or mitigation of your violent enforcement' as their M.O. Ordinary people relate to Sword Fights and Survival because we all need to use willpower every day to confront challenges in our world. But this is not that.

I could barely make it through half of the first bayverse transformers movie when I watched it recently for the normal reasons (misanthropy, misogyny, mis-everything) but given how much money the US military spent on this movie??? almost all of it is bullshit that completely ignores what the featured equipment is even FOR. Thoughts on JJK chapter 254 (spoilers)

Like we thought, this chapter was about showing us why Kusakabe is considered the strongest first grade sorcerer and it was awesome to see the utilization of the simple domain

Everything from making his CE output higher and weakening Sukuna's attacks to putting conditions into his domain like he would the actual ones fits with everything that had been established so far

The flashbacks discuss Kusakabe's skill further but I have 2 questions now about those:

more than ever this looks like there was an actual person asking about the strongest first grade sorcerer (and previously the strongest sorcerer) instead of this being a narrative trick. Who was that person though? This could be kinda important in the future maybe.

While the flashbacks are a good way to bring dead characters back, it's again noteworthy that it's a pre-Shibuya flashback. Makes you think why Gege made sure to not show us timeskip Gojo 🤔

It's always good to see Gojo though and I did miss his blindfold.

We get another tidbit of information that students of SD have to make vows to utilize it like Miwa but Kusakabe is again extremely good at using it from all angles, even when Sukuna charges and uses his slashes without using his muscles

Sukuna is also a little shit against Kusakabe but by extending the range of his SD, Kusakabe can prevent Sukuna from forming the necessary CE output to use his world slashing cut. Sukuna himself gets cut in Kusakabe's attack

Not gonna lie, I thought for a second that Higuruma was back in the fray until I realized that Kusakabe threw his coat at Sukuna

Some good old hand-to-hand combat. Last we checked Sukuna had Yuta's CE levels and even though that's probably lower again now, he's still on the level of a regular special grade sorcerer. Maki's wound is still afflicting him though

We already saw the extended CE sword from Maki's father and it would be good if we saw more of that but we've run out of swordsmen except Yuta comes back which he might.

Last chapter, we had an extreme use of shadows split between Sukuna and Maki. This chapter, probably to show how unserious Sukuna took this fight compared to Maki and how outclassed Kusakabe was, the shadows were lacking on him and Kusakabe.

But the moment Ui Ui comes to the scene not only do the shadows come, Sukuna's entire body is drenched in it, showing us perfectly just who the predator is in this scene

Sukuna going after Ui Ui is also a good tactic for how to disrupt his opponents' quick movement and potential healing of the defeated. That healing element will come back in the future at some point. I wonder if Mei MeI had been prepared to intervene for Ui Ui's sake or if this close call will have repercussions in the future

And then finally! We get a kinda important guy from pre-canon! Miguel was heavily featured at the end of the movie which showed us that Gojo had come into contact with him. This is coming to fruition right now.

This could be interesting with Sukuna when they starts comparing Jujutsu from Japan to Jujutsu from overseas. Some lore drop could come next chapter

I also hope that Kong Shiu will appear again e.g. when Megumi gets into focus once more. Shiu, more than Miguel, could also bring new cursed items into the fight and he could even be a completely new player with how unaffiliated he is with the good guys

Awesome chapter and the chipping away at Sukuna plot is still going. Things that we have to look out for at the moment:

Yuta getting healed (most likely at this moment because Rika was still operational)

What did you think of Strange Darling?

I really don´t wanna be the kind of girl who keeps on moralizing everything or making everything out to be a political statment but I have to be honest about the fact that I really didn´t like this one. I keep seeing people praising it, calling it a piece of art and I get it, I really do, but to me it couldn´t work. First, I thought it was quite pretentious to announce it was shot on 35mm film(even though I love that format)-specially right on the start, but what brothered me the most was how it was going by the end. I was going to place two stars and a half until I saw that scene where the protagonist pretends she had been raped to get away with the murder and then the script kinda makes fun of the empathetic female officer who believes it, like...sorry, maybe I´m way too sensitive but that felt really terribily unnecessary, you know? SD has something to say about feminism and I can really picture how people would support that saying-specially with a strong protagonist-but to me it just screamed: 'victims are manipulative and fake situations to get something from it', you know? I can see incels using this as statment to support this mentality. I´m not saying it could not happen in real life, or that situations like that couldn´t exist but they´re very probably a minority-and a minority that´s not worthy to be decipted specially in media that acesses so many people like this one. That situation probably couldn´t even go further if in real life, you know? They´d probably take her to the hospital and even if they saw proof, they´d probably not count it as she commited a crime and sexual assault is really hard to prove. Also, the fact that the movie suggests woman manipulate men into giving them agressive sex-while they try to reassure they´re doing nothing wrong-just so they can simulate a rape in order to get what they want...like idk, it made me really uncomfortable. Maybe that´s the point but I don´t think its good. I enjoyed the cinematography, the acting and the action but the way it was written really delivers such a bad message. And yeah, not all movies have to deliver good messages or even have one but this one just felt so off. Please tell me I wasn´t the only one thinking this.

Tell me about Gundam?

Aight, so I'm gonna kinda ramble a bit then. Hope you do not mind.

So Gundam is a well-known mecha anime franchise that aired in 1979. It was directed and created by Yoshiyuki Tomino, a director known for having bouts of depression while working on his series, often causing him to have series where a lot of the major cast dies and earning him the nickname "Kill 'em All Tomino". Thankfully, he's doing a lot better, and you can tell because his newer works are a lot more on the happy side.

Most of the entries in the franchise at first took place in the same universe in a timeline known as "Universal Century" where people live in space colonies. The main conflicts in Universal Century stem from the fact that people in space want to be independent from the Earth government and both sides do horrible things to get their goals. Also, there is a teenager who kind of falls into the cockpit of the giant mecha and ends up becoming a soldier and experiences the horrors of war. There are other themes depending on the series, but the main theme behind most of the Gundam franchise in general is "war is bad" and "those who refuse to learn from the past are doomed to repeat it".

The Universal Century timeline is mostly made up of works directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino himself, with exception of a few sidestories in that timeline. The only two non-UC works that Tomino directed are Gundam Reconguista in G and Turn A Gundam, but it's confirmed that these two series take place at the end of Universal Century and every other Gundam timeline.

Then at one point in the mid-90s, it was noted that the viewership of UC Gundam was dropping and because of that, they started making new series that took place in alternate universes and that has since become a staple of the franchise. The good thing about these alternate timelines is that you can pretty much start from here if you want without worrying about watching something else first like you would have to with UC. The following is a list of them:

Cosmic Era (CE) from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and its related works

Then outside of that, there's a lot more other side Gundam works.

There's Gundam Build Fighters, which is more on the lighthearted side of things. I wouldn't really recommend it as a first-time watcher since it's a series that makes a lot of jokes and references to mainline Gundam works. While it's still worth a watch, I think it'd be a lot more enjoyable if you're already into Gundam. It's also pretty much a toy commercial for Gundam plastic model kits (gunpla) but it's a really good commercial. I also liked its sequel, Try, but the response varies from person to person.

In a similar vein is Gundam Build Divers. Do not watch it. Watch its sequel, Re:Rise instead. I heard Re:Rise is better.

Then there is the side work I am most interested in is SD Gundam. SD Gundam is short for "Super Deformed Gundam" and it's basically chibi Gundams. It originally started as a funny Gundam parody thing but grew into its own thing. There are multiple sub franchises in this franchise too, usually by putting its characters in different settings. Settings include the era of samurai, a Dragon Quest-inspired JRPG fantasy world, an American action movie, a time police squad, a bunch of cavemen, the world's loosest retelling of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the world's loosest retelling of Romance of the Three Kingdoms again but modern day and with zombies, and there's more!

Most SD Gundam works are only in Japanese, and I had to translate a lot of the information to learn about the various franchises, but there are a few works that are in English. However, I think you're missing out on a lot if you focus on only the works that are readily available in English. (This is kind of why I started writing translation threads of the various manga works. I really should get back to that.)

But yee I think that's my thing about Gundam. I hope you enjoyed it and don't be afraid to ask me about anything else!
