I'm sorry I haven't reached out in a minute. The holidays have been a bit crazy with traveling and I've been unable to draw anything for like a month.

Hopefully your Christmas and Holidays run smooth this year and that your feel loved and appreciated!🧡🙏🏼

Also, NGL Chess keeps dropping all this lore and his appearance keeps shifting so my confidence in my ability to draw has pretty much plummeted because well…the man is very a…how do I say this…sculpted? Shaped? Well defined perhaps? And I am no sculptor by ANY means 😅 so itll probably be a while till I actually attempt to draw something.

That being said, I was thinking about about you and wanted to say thank you for being a fun internet friend and for still inspiring me nonetheless. If ever get around to being brave I promise I’ll tag you and let you know!

Salutations dear Wasabi!! My holidays were suprisingly slow but that is alright as I got some much needed rest with friends, I hope you also were loved and appreciated! You deserve it 💜

Regarding Chess I do understand how it can be slightly intimidating! I will say regardless of what version, if you do end up making anything he will be extremely grateful, though I can't talk for the marshmallow himself I do know how appreciative he is of expressions of art regardless of their medium. I've also been slack lately with the art so no worries :P

Furthermore, that is so sweet of you oh my gosh, T_T thank you friend! I too have enjoyed our back and forth banter and it brings me a tear to hear I was inspiring. 💜

What kind of school social status would each member of the Wolfpack have

wait I love this ask!! Tho quick disclaimer everything I know about American school I know from High School Movies so I hope none of this is off!! (Also this became way longer than I expected so warning!!)

Sam- mans always been the dad friend! He’s like hard working at school and spends a ton of time helping his friends study! He’s not the kinda person who gets in trouble like he has never had a detention and all the teachers love him! He’s super responsible and defo got voted student body president but he’s still seen as super friendly and approachable!!

Jared- he would totally be the stereotypical popular jock boy with a heart of gold!! Like he’s on all the sports teams and he’s the class clown and everyone loves him sm!! He would defo be prom king and probably do a backflip on stage when he went to accept! You know the kinda guy! But he’d also be the person who will always give u a hug if you’re having a tough day, and who all the freshmen ask for directions!

Paul- he would be like popular but scary popular. Like everyone is either in love with him or wants to be him but he’s also super unapproachable! He kind of had the reputation of being a “bad boy” because of his sarky attitude and resting bitch face, but actully he is super nice and fun when you get to know him? He’s also hella smart, though people are still somehow surprised when he gets valedictorian and gives a really motivational speech.

Leah- she’s like a super high achiever, and she is captain of several sports teams!! She also runs for student body president and wins in a landslide (the year after Sam)! She’s a lil intimidating cos she’s so smart and driven but she is also very positive and loud. After her breakup she becomes a lil more closed off, and it’s not till she graduates and makes friends with Sam and Emily again that she opens back up...

Jake- him, Embry and Quil are that fun middle point where they are popular but not like prom king level! Like everyone love Jake cos he’s so sunny and positive and nice, but he’s not like super standout at anything. Like his grades are generally a average, except for art where he excels. Like he has been getting solid A+ and he loves working with his hands sculpting and carving! He also is the unofficial school mechanic if your car breaks down in the parking lot he always has tools on hand some how to fix it!!

Quil- he is that one person who does not shut up in class. Like he’s smart but he does not know when to stop, he gets diagnosed with ADHD senior year and like ... people should have known (no I’m not projecting shush) . He’s in the school debate team and they win every time because he is just super convincing and funny. He’s chatty and therefore he talks to everyone and is somehow friends with the janitor and the principal...

Embry- he’s the quiet emo one of the trio... he keeps his head down in class and kinda coasts along on his gifted kid status from middle school. He is amazing at writing though, he writes fantastic stories and poems in English class but while the teacher encourages him to share he is kinda shy. He does have a secret tumblr account for his writing though...

Seth- he is the one freshmen who all the seniors love. He is the popular one in his year, everyone wants to be his friend. Teachers look at him like he’s Jared part 2 but he’s his own dude. He’s very earnest and takes his work and clubs super seriously, he doesn’t ever want to let people down so he is the best person to do group projects with!!

Bonus!

Emily- shes that one girl who everyone had a crush on. She was a cheerleader and also ran the after school art club at the middle school so she would swing between wearing her uniform to school or long patterned skirts and dangly necklaces!! She’s the sweetest person and would always help out with any event she was asked too but she’d end up doing so much Leah would have to stage interventions tens of times per year...

Kim -shes that person that is super quiet but also suprisingly smart. She transferred schools half way through junior year so was a bit of an outsider. Then she became best fiends with Jared and found her group and that brought her out of her shell! She’s actually really funny and can be just of much of a dare devil as Jared, just no one expects it. She does win prom queen and her and Jared do have a choreographed dance. The secret is that she is actually the one who choreographed it....

Now that Inktober is all completed I wanna do a quick look back at my personal top ten favourite drawings from the challenge!

#1 - day 29

This is my absolute favourite and not suprisingly it came late in the month when I had really gotten the hang of the style I wanted. The composition, lighting and expression I managed to capture is why this is my absolute favourite.

#2 - day 21

This one gave me a lot of trouble. Both how to stage it, how to show the movement and how to fit it in the format. It was the only drawing that took two days to get done where one was just planning and sketching!

#3 - day 19

This was one of the drawings that worked perfectly with the format. The whole setting also worked perfectly in black and white and I could really play around with the foreground and background. I'm also very happy with the framing of the characters especially how they are holding hands.

#4 - day 10

This was an idea I've had for a while and therefor one of few drawings that came out exactly as intended.

#5 - day 14

I like this drawing for the linework and expression. It came out very different than what I had planned, initially Theon was holding Yara back by the arm and was in full view but as Yara and Euron was more important in the picture I drew them first and as time was running out I basically moved Theon further and further behind Yara till I eventually had no time to draw him and hid him almost completely. But in the end this works much better for the setting. It was one of those happy accidents :)

#6 - day 4

This one was another idea that worked perfectly with the format and my first chance of putting some humour into the drawings. I had a lot of fun with it!

#7 - day 25

Another humours one that I had basically had in mind since that episode back in April. I like the expressions of the dragons. They aren't very expressive without their movement or sounds so trying to give them a clear curious and intense expression was a challenge. They also had to look at bit awkward and intimidating so we could understand how Jon is feeling without his face.

#8 - day 24

This one was hard since the acting in this scene was so subtle and I had to decide on which expression to choose for each of them to at least convey the feel of the scene. I knew I'd succeded when a friend who has never seen Game of thrones looked at this and said " I have no idea who this is or what's going on but I'm feeling emotional" Success.

#9 - day 23

Another one that was such a head scratch I has to dig up some clay and sculpt a simple dragon for the purpose! But I really like the composition and the big spaces of light and dark in this.

#10 - day 8

Of all the line work I've done this might be the cleanest and I love it! Since there wasn't much of a distracting location in this and they where wearing their cloaks it was limited how much detail could be seen and therefor I could put the extra effort into the lines. I also like Robb and Theon's expression and poses in this.

So that's my own favourite ten for the challenge. I have some more sketches I'm going to show off very soon showing the distance between my sketches and the finished drawing.
