i realized i don't talk about ships/shipping much and that's mostly because like... yeah sure, i've got things i'm soft on. i have preferences, there's certain characters or archetypes i think would work best with my characters. but i also really enjoy being surprised by what can develop in rp? and i do mean rp, i'm always happy to talk ooc about our blorbos and how they might interact, but i genuinely don't know how things workout or mesh until i'm sitting down and writing the thing.

like, i did not set out shipping bucky and tony. just thought they'd be good pals, they had a few good canon interactions and i wanted to build a better friendship off of it. but then amanda and i started writing and i realized bucky was putting out feelers, trying to make some moves, crushing hard, and was like oh. this could be something. and amanda and i chatted and wrote and chatted more and wrote more and now we've got two married dumbasses, which is not what i had in mind but it works! and it's probably one of my all time faves.

there's other's that i've tripped over in all my years of writing--feyn and dorian actually started in rp, zevran and inara was a surprise to me, zevran and emmrich was a joke but is fast becoming real, lucanis and josie have an on again off again situationship rn--which all of this is a lot of words to say that i'm open and i'm interested in ships! romantic ones especially, but all kinds of course, but i have to do some writing with it. i'm absolutely down if you message me "hey i'd like to try flinging our blorbos together, romantic-style" and we can put them in situations to see what comes of it. i just can't promise anything until we've also flung words back and forth some, bc my muse's thoughts and feelings aren't always clear when i'm just chatting ooc.

// soon to be adding Illario to the roster but specifically the version of him that possessed by envy (cut content we mourn you). he can get added to the companion roster after murder of crows. all the cards are down as this is less of the casanova persona but more illario the cold, unsheathed blade. still playful/flirtatious, but has less reason to pretend he finds someone impressive. lot of spats between him and luc in the lighthouse as he gradually shifts away from always trying to be "better" than his cousin.

having seduced and betrayed his targets, this 'unmasked' version of him is slow to trust, and he's glad if the feeling is mutual. still, he wants to be trusted again, at least by lucanis. most of all by lucanis.

he's resistant to mind tricks since persuasion and social trickery are his most powerful tools. if one were to glimpse at his mind, everything is perfectly structured. envy is a new addition, but it keeps to quieter corners. it seethes on old memories, always reliving his worst moments. his failures. and how he felt, how he wished he was someone else.

in another life he might've been a better person, but he was raised on resentment and neglect in this one. it's hard to tell when its his emotions or when its envy influencing his thoughts.

envy, if anyone is able to see it, is both cowardly and incredibly vicious. unlike spite, it wishes to take over illario's body and soul entirely and become a better version of him. its silhouette is similar to a serpent coiling around his shoulders, its constantly trying to 'blind' illario to reason with its many arms.

when fighting, an extra set of shadowy arms appear on illario's body and it makes him a lethal in-your-face scrapper with acrobatics thrown into the mix

main development is illario letting go of the three poisons of ignorance, attachment, and aversion. reconciliation with his cousin is the big first step, then slowly embracing generosity. he is, by all definition, reduced to nothing in terms of status and what bonds he has, and he has to accept that before beginning the necessary steps of a new life.

if you want to make that birb squawk needily, generally manhandling him from behind, forcefully grabbing the base of his tail feathers and lifting them / sweeping them aside before proceeding to tease his cloaca will do it. be ruthless with him.

Hard to remember fully, but if I recall Tighnari, Cyno, Kaveh and I were very drunk. I vividly remember the nasty hangover the morning after. I believe Cyno was the one that initially suggested Truth or Dare but I do not remember which one was the one to dare him to kiss me specifically… my bet is on Cyno truthfully but I’m not certain. It was immature and stupid, but we were all very drunk so it sounded like a good idea at the time.
