wouldn't it be crazy if rhett or link one day watched Close from A24 . it's them fr

Ok for real now.
I didn't know about this movie and I literally just found it and watched it after your mail. And........................ are we sure the screenwriter isn't in some way aware of Rhett and Link and their friendship? Because I am not sure at all it's entirely coincidental. It is wild.
First of all the kids are called Remi and Leo. Their personalities are reversed in comparison to Rhett and Link (meaning Leo is like Rhett and Remi is like Link)but still! Remi and Leo?!
There is an element of rural lifestyle in the movie despite it being modern and the parents all loving and open-minded.
Leo looks like Rhett did as a child and as Shepherd. The resemblance is uncanny.

Remi looks a bit like Link too.
Tumblr media
Leo is the one who gets in denial mode and tries to make other connections through sports and such. Remi never denies or confirms anything and Leo's growing distance leaves him lonely. He retreats to his toys, drawings and playing the flute.
Leo is the dreamer of the two, imagining big things for Remi's future whereas Remi is timid and humble.
Much like Rhett, Leo simply can't not stare with hearteyes whereas Remi (Link) can be more subtle despite the depth of his feelings.
There is this implication that Remi's entire life revolves around Leo.
Leo has an older brother while Remi is an only child.
Remi's mother is a nurse...!
Leo even has a wetting the bed accident what the freaking freak is going on here
That movie would make them utter wrecks. It also reminds me of how often Link mentions Brokeback Mountain while always clarifying he has yet to watch it, which makes me suspect he wants to but he dreads its ending.... Makes you think...

Coming Attractions - April 2018
Tumblr media
As usual, we present monthly previews of new movies being released. These are the movies what will be hitting your local cinemas this month:
April 6th
Blockers - Pitch Perfect trilogy screenwriter Kay Cannon makes her directorial debut with the comedy Blockers starring Leslie Mann, John Cena, and Ike Barinholtz as parents attempting to cope with their daughters’ prom night plans. Don’t forget the corsage.
A Quiet Place - John Krasinski both directs and stars alongside his wife Emily Blunt in this upcoming horror film. The buzz surrounding A Quiet Place since its premiere at South by Southwest last month has been extremely positive. I think A Quiet Place looks fantastic, but I might wait to watch it at home - with a light on.
Chappaquiddick - Jason Clarke portrays Ted Kennedy in the dramatic film about the 1969 Chappaquiddick Incident. For those who don’t know about the Chappaquiddick Incident, it is the reason why when someone mentions President Kennedy, you don’t automatically reply “Which one?” Well, one of the reasons (see Bobby). Early reviews for the film have been mediocre but any fans of 20th century political history are definitely going to want to see Chappaquiddick in some way or form, including me.
The Miracle Season - From the poster of The Miracle Season, there are only two things I am able to glean. One, the movie is about volleyball and two, Kate Mara stars at the lead in the film. But apparently only one of those things are true. After watching the trailer for The Miracle Season, I was shocked to learn that Kate Mara is not in the movie after all (though she is in Chappaquiddick opening the same day). Helen Hunt and William Hurt star in this true story about an Iowa high school volleyball team playing in honor of a fallen teammate. Reminder, Kate Mara is not in this movie even though she is featured on the poster.
April 13th
Beirut (April 11th) - Jon Hamm and Rosamund Pike star in this political thriller set in 1980s Lebanon from the director of The Machinist (Brad Anderson). Noted screenwriter and script doctor Tony Gilroy penned the film which has been fraught with controversy since its first trailer for its portrayal of Arabs and Muslims and its lack of Lebanese actors for a film set in the Middle Eastern country. Despite that criticism, the film received some positive praise since its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
Truth or Dare - Horror producer Jason Blum and his Blumhouse Productions are back at it again with Truth or Dare starring Lucy Hale. The game of truth or dare is one without real consequences but the film adds the supernatural element of death as a punishment for not following through with a dare or withholding the truth - think Jumanji meets Final Destination.
Rampage - I fondly remember playing the original Rampage video game on my Nintendo when I was a kid. The monsters would climb the buildings and smash the windows in hopes of finding food or even people to eat. And after a while, the buildings would crash down after too much damage and your monster would move onto the next towering skyscraper. It was a fun game that I enjoyed playing very much. When it was announced three years ago that Dwayne Johnson would be starring in a movie based on this game and that San Andreas director Brad Peyton was going to be behind the camera, I was caustically optimistic. But I’ll be honest, with the release of the movie imminent, I am not excited to see it in the least - it looks like a complete mess. I am sure that little kid sitting in front of his NES destroying cities would be disappointed. Sorry, little guy.
April 20th
Super Troopers 2 - Broken Lizard has a great run during the early aughts with Super Troopers, Club Dread (an under-rated classic), and Beerfest. Unfortunately 2009′s The Slammin’ Salmon was a remarkably forgettable version of Waiting... and since then the guys of Broken Lizard have mostly been up to nothing expect teasing the possibility of sequels to Super Troopers and Beerfest. Well now 17 years since the original, a sequel to Super Troopers is finally here and I am sure Broken Lizard is hopeful the film will push them out of oblivion and back to relevance. We will see.
I Feel Pretty - Comedian Amy Schumer stars as a woman who learns the empowerment that comes along with a confidence and a positive self-image in the movie I Feel Pretty, co-starring Michelle Williams, and Emily Ratajkowski. I Feel Pretty was slated for release later this summer, but that release got moved up due to positive results from test screenings, so hopefully, audiences will be in for a treat with I Feel Pretty.
April 27th
Avengers: Infinity War - The nineteenth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is almost upon us. Avengers: Infinity War brings together characters from all but one of the previous 18 films (sorry Ant-Man, your sequel comes out in July, see you then), in a crossover event unseen on the big screen. It is amazing to think how far the MCU has come. Back in 2012, seeing all six Avengers on screen together for the first time felt epic. And that film pales in comparison to the scale that Avengers: Infinity War will bring. I am sure Avengers fans far and wide will do the only thing necessary upon the film’s release - ASSEMBLE.
Now for a quick look ahead to May, my top picks for next month are Solo: A Star Wars Story and Deadpool 2.
