What really fucks me up about the angel Crowley scene is how we see that Crowley had so much faith in heaven, in God; more than Aziraphale ever had! "How much trouble could I get in for asking a few questions?" And he meant that! He really, truly, had so much faith, that he never for a second believed that asking a few questions, not being the 'perfect, unquestioning' angel others expected him to be, would get him into any trouble. He had so much unwavering faith. I'm going to eat Neil Gaiman's house

I'm not thinking about narrative parallels between the old and current archives teams. I'm not thinking about how Michael and Martin were both singled out as the "naive" person and isolated for it. I'm not thinking about how Eric and Melanie would both do anything to get out so they wouldn't lose their loved ones and how Eric was betrayed for it while Melanie had a support system to rely on. I'm not thinking about how Fiona and Sasha were led into traps by someone who just wanted to see what would happen. I'm not thinking about Sarah and Tim marching bravely to a death by fire. I'm not thinking about how Basira took Gertrude as an example to lead the team by even though Gertrude sacrificed so many people and Basira can't bear to lose anyone else. I'm not thinking about Emma and Daisy being changed by their fears while their loved ones didn't notice or ignored it until it was too late and both they and the people close to them got hurt. I'm not thinking about Daisy and Gerry, both spending their whole lives hunting, then finally breaking free, only to be pushed back into the cycle they just escaped until it finally killed them. I'm definitely not thinking about Tim and Michael willingly and unwillingly facing the very monsters that drove them to the institute for answers and giving their lives to stop them.
