Things that happened in the Official Transformers RPG's lore.
So, I've got my hands on all three rulebooks of the official TF RPG. And also the G. I. Joe RPG, but that's irrelevant right now. My batch did not include the crossover rulebook, sadly.
Therefore, notes on the lore and other details in the "basic" canon, because TFWiki did not go into the details, that grew into this list of odd events mentioned.
First thing first, the general continuity is very close to Cyberverse or G1 Fanon, having the basic outline of G1 cartoon, but with details and chunks of backstory pulled from elsewhere - Optimus is a former archivist/data clerk, Bumblebee is a sportscar, et cetera.
To note, there's a somewhat short introductory "who-is-who" list and basic character sheets with profiles both.
Well, I've already got my whiplash, so it's your turn now.
There's something very funky going on with Devastator. Prowl's introduction blurb directly states that something Combiner Wars-esque/Prowlstator has happened, and reads as implying that Autobots hijacked Devastator. By all accounts, Scrapper is alive, making it a possible genuine canonical instance of Prowlastator with Scrapper alive, but the Constructions as whole are placed with the Decepticons. But, Tergamax mentions that among people that were at any moment replacement parts of Devastator there were five Autobots, Prowl included. What happened?
The "who is who" listing for Autobots includes declarations of jobs/roles/traits. Some of these are notable: 1) Ironhide is a chemist 2) Swerve is in Public Relations 3) Rung is Psy-Ops 4) Perceptor is specifically an engineer 5) Bumblebee is noted as "Hero of the People". Must be popular.
Speaking of roles, monochromatic SIC of the day is Jazz, who is also a strategist now.
All of the people in the introductory list are implied to be the Ark crew, and there are problems regarding space travel for Autobots right now. This means that Anode, Lug, those two kids from IDW2, Elita's team and Glyph are on the crew.
Rattrap is a Decepticon.
Optimus Prime has a thick Iaconian accent in Cybertronian. It turns "Teletraan" into "Teletron".
Character sheets include a list of languages that character speaks. Some of these past the standart English+Cybertronian are completely random. Optimus Prime speaks Dutch. Korean is surprisingly popular. In what could be a nice callback, Slingshot has Arabic. The only two people who know the language of newly-introduced alien species of Catharsians are Ratchet and Wildrider. But the crown is taken by First Aid, who has both ASL and Quileute. Yes, the basically extint language of a small tribe warring legally with Stephanie Meyer.
Speaking of languages, both Megatron and Shockwave are noted passable polyglots, and both lack the Universal Translator perk Soundwave, Blaster and Perceptor have. But while Megatron has vague but limited "languages from across Decepticon territory", Shockwave has "all common languages", implying he knows at least a bit of almost everything manually.
Tracks is a triple changer, apparently.
Decepticons' thing is mass-producing sparkless drone clones of their own members.
There's a general threat level system with lists included, where 0 is a random human civilian, 24 is Optimus and Megatron, and 25 is Omega Supreme and Scorponok. Chosen numbers for some characters are thought-provoking. Jazz is 14. Ratchet is 15. First Aid is 9. Wildrider is 6. Ironhide and Starscream are tied with 17. Lord Zarak by himself is 10.
Transformers The Movie sort-of happened, with no apparent notable casualties except for Megatron, who got Galvatroned, but there is a chance that Cyclonus, while a minion of Unicron, predates those events. He is also in an odd position of formally being a part of Decepticons and not the followers of Unicron, who are technically a separate faction.
Scorponok and Deathsaurus are member of Decepticon High Command/Conclave along with Shockwave and Soundwave. Nobody trusts Starscream, so he is not there, but he has the air force.
Mindwipe is, once again, a sorcerer.
Predacons, the combiner team, somehow adopted a sharkticon.
The evil plan du jour of, apparently, pre-Unicron era is converting Earth into the second Cybertron via several colony sites.

currently imagining tiny little thirteen year old Cal Kestis becoming a scrapper on Bracca and immediately being adopted by Prauf and co. That’s their son now. The crew? Section? Squad? Of scrappers now like. This is our little boy now and anyone who has a problem with it can fight me. Like… did anyone know? Did anyone realize or figure it out, suspect that something was up? The end of an entire republic, the destruction of a mystical knighthood, and now a little boy with terror written on his face and the uncanny ability to avoid danger in a highly dangerous job shows up out of nowhere with no way home? Did they quietly decide not to pursue it, to cover for him when he needed it, and to not say a word when questioned?

Let's say Cal gets a live action appearance, which hair + beard (or none) combination would you prefer him to have and does it depend on his age (considering he's in his early 40s during the Mandoverse which is, I guess, more likely even though my personal preference would be during Andor)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So my headcanon for Cal's Jedi 3 hair is something between the Survivor, Scrapper, and Windswept options. Maybe a few pieces that hang in front, with more length in the back, but not the same volume/thickness as Windswept. He wears his beard slightly longer, but still keeps it tidy. I'm wanting to maintain the "look" of Cal that's been established in the first two games, while adding some maturity and waywardness that comes with building a Tanalorr sanctuary.
Live action is more complicated. Andor S2 takes place either during or after Jedi 3 (depending on the timeskip between games) and the new Republic is years later. So I think that hairstyle could work, though I haven't seen enough of Cameron's other work to know how/if his hair would handle a style like this? Maintaining his Survivor hair would make IRL Cal more easily recognizable - though most animated Star Wars characters receive a noticeable design change when moving to live action.
And depending on how Jedi 3 ends, Cal might be a very different person by the time he'd appear in any Mandoverse crossover. Maybe he takes an Anchorite vow and shaves his head like Cere??? Wears it in a braid to honor both Jaro and Greez? Who knows 🤷‍♀️ I'm still hesitant about a live action adaptation, and hope the Mantis crew receives the care (and strong writing) (and impactful cinematography) (and engaging editing) (and a VFX budget!) that they deserve.

Au where Grian and Scar meet in space prison. Scar for being a smuggler/scrapper and Grian for thievery or something. They get put in the same cell. Grian immediately is trying to plan an escape, to which Scar is No Help, and he gets frustrated thinking he’s ended up with the worst cellmate in the galaxy.
Then Etho and Bdubs and Gem blast through the outer wall and break them out of their cell, and Grian realizes that Scar wasn’t helping with his plan because he’d already had one. He’d just been waiting on his crew.

Relationships: Cal Kestis & Prauf
Content Warnings: Blood and Injury, Child Abuse
Summary:
The job of scavenger falls to those small enough to crawl into small spaces and under machines. When Prauf meets a surprisingly young looking one, he can't help but worry about the human. A version of how Prauf and Cal might have met.
Written for Cal Kestis Week 2025 day 1: Bracca
Word count: 2,927
Read on Ao3
"Prauf!" a voice comes, just as the Abednedo wanted to sit down for a moment. With a groan, he rights himself, cracking his back in the process. Nearly ten hours he'd been working already, with only a short lunch break to allow him some rest. But that's just what life's become since the empire. Just a few months ago, Prauf's life had been completely different, nothing like this. "Here," he replies, walking towards the source of the voice. The pantoran seems vaguely familiar to Prauf, though he hasn't work with her often.
Prauf had been assigned to a different area of the ship breaking yard than his usual scrapping crew and he'd yet to memorize any names or faces, mostly working alone. He'll be glad once he's back with his team, finding himself missing the familiarity. "Foreman said to get you. Says you're the best engineer that's close by." She's a little out of breath as she comes to a halt, hands pressed in her side. "Speed smelter's stuck." Prauf swears, quickly following the pantoran. He'd been aware of the last scrap work being done on a Venator's wing, everything of value having been removed.
These smelters, large metal monstrosities that can be moved where they're needed, have been a newer addition to Bracca as well. The hulls of ships are fed into them, spat out as hastily melted and compressed cubes to be transported. Whilst Prauf appreciates their speed, they're volatile things with a tendency to cause trouble. Pieces of scrap often get stuck in their exposed gears, especially underneath them. There's a group of scrappers crowded around the smelter in various stages of annoyance and frustration, a foreman droid yelling orders as it spots Prauf approaching. "Fix this, or everyone's pay is being cut!" Prauf assures it that he'll get the job done, making the foreman clear off. That's another part of the new job Prauf greatly dislikes. These droids add little to the actual work, only coming in to dish out orders and threaten you. There are at least seven scrappers around the smelter, some having abandoned their posts in the cranes used to feed metal to the smoking machine in front if them.
The speed smelter groans and grinds, but its metal jaws are motionless. Prauf walks around it, trying to asses the issue. He comes to a halt when he finds one scrapper kneeling beside the machine, tilting her head as she peers under it. "You find the problem?" Prauf asks her. The twi'lek, looking worn and tired, looks back at him, before turning back to the machine. "Helps here," she says, leaving Prauf to wonder what she's talking to. Before he can ask, another pantoran interrupts him, male by the looks of it. He huffs. "Some useless scavenger got stuck under there, and now we're all gonna get our pay docked cause of his incompetence." He raises his voice as he speaks, enunciating his insults clearly. Like he wants someone to hear them, someone stuck under multiple tons of heavy machinery. "Shut up, Vin, you weren't helpin' either," the twi'lek hisses. Others murmur in agreement with her, but some voices join Vin's. Prauf ignores them all, focused only on his job. His heart drops at the knowledge that someone's life likely rests on his shoulders now. Moving to the other side of the smelter, Prauf kneels on the ground. The job of scavenger is reserved for those small enough to crawl in tight spaces or under machinery, a horribly dangerous occupation, often costing workers limb or life. But this scavenger doesn't just look small, he looks young as well. A human with red hair is trapped between the gears on the machine's underbelly and the wet ground, arm stuck somewhere above him. It's hard to make out just how badly he's stuck in the dim light. Prauf gets out his torch. "Hey there, what's your name?" Prauf asks, shining the light about the underside of the smelter as he tries to keep the scavenger distracted. The human's arm is stuck between a twisted piece of the hull and a couple gears, threatening to drag the limb into the machine and tearing it apart.
The damage doesn't seem too bad as of now, but Prauf is well aware that that could change any moment. When he's called, the scavenger tries to turn and look at Prauf, barely able to do so in the cramped space. Tear tracks across his cheeks glint in the light of Prauf's torch. "Cal," he mumbles, green eyes wide with fear and pain. "Nice to meet you, I'm Prauf." Taking time to study how the mechanics of the smelters lower engine works, Prauf keeps talking to the boy.
They're not allowed to turn the smelter off, that would mean interrupting work further to have to reheat it once more. Prauf doesn't know why he's surprised by that. Of course the Guild would value efficiency over the lives of their workers. Cal's got to be removed first. Worker safety isn't the guild's priority, but it matters to Prauf. Especially with how young this human looks. He can't possibly be an adult yet. After conversations with other scrappers and further inspection of the machine, Prauf devises a plan. The issue with this type of smelter is they overheat. That means Prauf can't unscrew the side of it and reach through there to dislodge the scrap pinning Cal's hand.
The other issue is that once the scrap is removed, Cal's arm might be sucked into the gears, even if just freeing that section up won't get the smelter running again. The best course of action is sill removing that scrap first, but the twi'lek will have to drag Cal out immediately after. She introduces herself as Milena to Prauf in the brief time they talk.
Vin complains about this plan of course, telling Prauf to forget about Cal and just fix the machine. The Abednedo isn't one to judge others harshly without knowing them, but he's confident he will never like this pantoran. "Ready Cal?" Prauf asks, getting a hesitant nod from the boy in response. "It'll be over in a moment." Just for Cal to have to do similarly dangerous things the next day, Prauf thinks darkly, keeping the thought to himself. Prauf counts down for them before yanking at the scrap metal firmly. Cal gasps in pain, but is being dragged out from under the machine by Milena already. Only, he doesn't go all the way. With another sharp intake of breath, Cal remains halfway under the smelter. His hair, Prauf notices, has gotten caught in some of the machinery too. Swearing, Prauf reaches under the speed smelter, knife in hand. With an apology, he cuts the boy's hair as far away from his head as possible. Sighing in relief at seeing the boy free, Prauf momentarily ignores his duties to check on him, only to notice that Cal is already gone. That should be the end of it for Prauf. If he worried about every one of his co-workers, he'd be doing so all day. But Cal refuses to leave the Abednedos mind. Not as he reluctantly returns to the smelter, managing to free the other obstructions that trapped its gears with Milena's help. Not as he finally gets his short break to sit down for a moment. Not even as he continues to work himself. The thought of Cal, clearly a child, working for the guild eats away at Prauf. Before the Empire, you wouldn't have seen anything like it. Are his parents on the yard as well? Did they know he could have died under a smelter today? It seems the universe wasn't going to let Prauf forget about Cal either, as just at the end of his shift, the boy crosses his path. Cal freezes when Prauf calls his name, drawing his hood over his head, covering his now unevenly cut hair. He doesn't run away though. "You alright? How's the hand?" It's the first time Prauf's seen Cal fully. Even if the boy were standing upright, as opposed to his current hunched posture, he'd only reach to about the middle of Prauf's chest. Cal shrugs. "It's good. That's for saving me, sir." His voice shakes slightly in a way that doesn't ease any of Prauf's fears. He crouches down in front of the human, who's eyes are still glued to the floor. "No need for all that," Prauf laughs, "I'm just glad you're okay." That makes Cal look up, eyes wide. "Really? You're not mad?" "Why would I be?" Now that Cal's looking at him, Prauf can see under his hood. There's a scar on his right cheek, barely healed. What's more pressing than that is the dark bruise forming on Cal's left cheek. That certainly hadn't been there earlier. Prauf's got a suspicion that Vin might be behind the bruise. "Almost made you lose credits," he mumbles, fidgeting with the hem of his too large poncho. There's blood caked on his hands. Did he get his injury looked at at all? "You were doing your job." Cal nods along to Praufs words, but the engineer gets the feeling the words don't get through. "Say, you had someone treat that hand yet?" Cal stiffens, fear crossing his expression. "It's fine, really!" "Can I see?" Prauf doesn't expect Cal to comply. He looks jumpy, like he might bolt any moment, and Prauf barely knows him. But after shifting on his feet for a few moment, Cal lifts his right hand up. Even in the low light, Prauf can't help but hiss in sympathy. An ugly gash is slashed across his palm, similar scrapes mirroring it on the back of his hand. It hasn't even been wrapped, dirt caught in the wound. The only mercy is that Cal hasn't lost any fingers, nor do the bones seem broken. "Hell Cal, that'll go septic. You need to have that treated." Bracca was never the cleanest of places, dust always blowing through the streets, but now, that's only gotten worse. An open injury like that is just asking for an infection. Cal starts shaking his head, pulling away from Prauf. "No, no." He shakes his head. "No medic."
"No medic, promise!" Prauf doesn't like the idea, but if he pushes now, Cal will likely refuse any help Prauf offers. "But if you'd let me take a look, I have a first aid kit on me." Prauf hopes Cal has parents or someone that cares for him, but he can't leave him like this. Getting involved is a bad idea, but even if Cal has family, he's in a bad situation. The least the Abednedo could do is not let him go home with a contaminated wound from being forced to crawl under heavy machinery. Cal hesitates for a moment, but then nods. It'd not sanitary, but Prauf decides to look at Cal's hand on the side of the road. He knows little of the human, so taking him anywhere unfamiliar would likely set alarm bells off in Cal's head. So the crate at the side of the road will have to do. Prauf places the first aid kit down next to Cal, letting him look into it. It's a sorry little thing, barely anything but the bare minimum of disinfectant and bandages. Anything fancier than that'll cost you an arm and a leg, or at the very least, more than half your pay check. At least Prauf knows the disinfectant is safe to use on humans. He wouldn't know about most other things. Soaking a gauze pad in the sharp smelling liquid, Prauf waits for Cal to offer him his hand. Prauf's glad for his years as an engineer training him to have steady hands as he wipes the cut on Cal'd palm. The boy flinches and whimpers, but holds still. It almost breaks Praufs heart. He really, really hopes Cal has someone looking after him, even if that's starting to seem more and more unlikely. Cal's sleeve slides up at some point, showing off another bruise, a worryingly hand-shaped one. It's so dark, it nearly blends with the guild tattoo. Prauf pretends not to see it for the moment, but Cal still hastily rights his sleeve. "That alright?" Prauf asks as he wraps Cal's hand, not wanting to restrict the blood flow to the limb. Cal nods, eyes focused on Prauf's face cautiously. Prauf can't help but draw a comparison between Cal and a frightened animal, the way he sits there, observing quietly whilst making himself look even smaller than he is.
Whilst the Abednedo is hardly an expert on humans, he can tell Cal is a child, yet his eyes seem to hold far more knowledge of hardship and pain than anyone his age should. "How old are you, Cal?" Prauf says as he ties off the end of the bandage around Cal's writs, cautious not to put too much pressure on the concealed bruise. "Just turned sixteen," Cal says, looking away from Prauf as he speaks. Prauf almost has to laugh. Either he's got a very wrong idea of how humans age, or Cal is lying through his teeth. Calling him out on the fact won't help either of them though, so Prauf just nods. "Right. Where are you staying?" Cal glares at him, pulling his hand away from Prauf. "Why do you want to know?" "Sorry, sorry, I can be too chatty for my own good." Prauf raises his hands, shuffling backwards a little to give the kid space. It's a lie, the Abednedo generally being on the quiet side, but he doesn't want to spook Cal.
The boy has good instincts at least, not sharing too much about himself with a stranger. Makes Prauf wonder what forced him to learn that instinct so young though. He hopes it's just cautious caretakers that taught him that lesson. The fight in Cal dies down, leaving him staring downwards once again. "I'm done here," Prauf says, Cal immediately standing up. "There's just one thing I'd like to ask you, then I'll leave you alone." Cal tenses again, expression almost panicked as he looks up at Prauf. The Abednedo almost curses at how he'd managed to set the boy on edge again. "What do you want?" Cal's voice holds no accusation in it this time, closer to resignation in tone. A uneasy feeling settles in Prauf's stomach when he realizes Cal's expecting him to demand something in return for the small amount of help Prauf offered. "Just wanted to ask who hit you," Prauf quickly continues, gesturing to Cal's face. He still hopes that Cal has family on Bracca, but the more time he spends with the kid, the more Prauf worries what kind of people they would be when Cal acts the way he does. Cal shrugs. "Doesn't matter." "Does to me. Scrappers have to stick together. The guild doesn't care about us, so the least we can do is have each others backs." If Cal was a regular co-worker of his, Prauf would offer reassurance through a hand on his shoulder. Prauf reckons Cal's had enough of people putting their hands on him without warning today though, so he leaves well enough alone. Shaking his head, Cal ends up dislodging his hood somewhat, showing off half of his red hair as well as his bruised face. Prauf estimates the swelling isn't done setting in yet by the looks of it. He wouldn't be surprised if Cal could barely see out of his left eye by tomorrow. "I made a mistake and Vin had to..." Cal trails off, pulling his hood over his head fully again. "He didn't have to do anything. I don't know him well, but I know people like him. Doesn't matter to him if you did something wrong or not, he just likes feeling stronger than others." Prauf watches Cal carefully, but it's hard to read his reaction without being able to see his face.
There are likely thousands of people better suited to try and help a kid in a bad situation, but Prauf ended up being the one trying to do so, so he will just have to try his best. "I'd say best to avoid people like him when ever you can. Maybe start carrying a knife too, just in case someone like him ever threatens your life." It's terrible advice, but it's the best Prauf's got to offer. Cal nods. Before Bracca changed, Prauf would have told Cal to tell someone he trusted about the abuse. Back then, things like that still mattered. Not any more though. No foreman or high ranking guild member would care if Cal came to them. "Thank you," Cal almost whispers. Prauf can't even think to respond before the boy's darted off, back onto the main path, disappearing in the crowd. Prauf doesn't sleep well that night, thoughts of the small human he met plaguing him. Should he have done more? Perhaps a better man would have. It feels like a small miracle when Prauf spots Cal again the next morning, waiting for an assignment near a foreman droid. Prauf makes sure to take jobs that require the help of a scavenger the next few days, even if they're some of the worse ones. And when Prauf is transferred back to his usual crew, he informs a foreman that they lack a scavenger, listing off why Cal specifically possesses the traits to be a good addition to their team as he does so.

Membership: Scrapper of Kaon, Hook of Kaon, Bonecrusher of Kaon, Long Haul of Kaon, Mixmaster of Kaon, Scavenger of Kaon.
[1] Constructicons: consistent members of the Nemesis crew since launch. Hook: currently Chief Medical Officer aboard the seabed-bound Nemesis. Observation: Despite the complications with rank, Constructicon interpersonal dynamics have not been significantly affected. Significantly few Nemesis crew members → reduced medbay workload.
EDIT (Earth Year 202X): Constructicons → now capable of combining into a giant mechanism that refers to himself as “Devastator.” Devastator: powerful, like the Autobots’ Defensor, but not exceptionally intelligent. Further research and understanding required.

COMBATICONS
COMMANDER: Vortex of Tarn SECOND: Blast Off of Vos FUNCTION: Elite Combat Unit [1] STATUS: MIA [2] LOCATION: ???
Personal annotations by Decepticon Third-in-command Soundwave of Polyhex, Earth Year 202X (Standard Cybertronian Stellar Cycle XXXXX)
Combaticons: personally selected by Starscream in anticipation for Operation Tenebrae (Praxus), standard stellar cycle XXXX. First deployment: standard stellar cycle XXXX, shortly after Air Force Lieutenant Skywarp’s first aerial bombardment of the Praxus Strip.
Membership: Vortex of Tarn, Blast Off of Vos, Brawl of Uraya, Swindle of Kaon. Medic: Flatline of Vos.
Note: Incident A-XXX.XXXX at the Battle of Asteroides Point (Altihex) saw Vortex, Brawl, Swindle, and Blast Off briefly sent to Science Lead Shockwave for “behavioral adjustment.”
Note: They are a particular source of gossip within the Decepticon army even at present, and there are common nicknames for each of them that are still in use. Vortex: “The Sweeper.” Blast Off: “The Ferrymech.” Swindle: “The Collector.” Brawl: “The Annihilator.”
[1] Combaticons: act outside of the standard chain of command and usually take on their own assignments. When called on, they answer only to Decepticon Second-in-command Starscream or Decepticon leader Megatron.
[2] Left Cybertron, accompanying the Nemesis, aboard specialized starship the Vae Victis. Last known location: Mu Arae star system. Similarly to the Stunticons, there has been no communication within the last standard vorn besides a corrupted transmission. Assumed MIA until further information can be obtained.
COMBATICONS (Revised - Earth Year 202X)
COMMANDER: Onslaught of [Fugue Valley] SECOND: Blast Off of Vos FUNCTION: Elite Combat Unit STATUS: Active LOCATION: Earth - The Nemesis
Personal annotations by Acting Decepticon Third-in-command Onslaught of [Fugue Valley], Earth Year 202X (Standard Cybertronian Stellar Cycle XXXXX). Note: As Soundwave no longer aligns himself with Megatron, I have taken the liberty of adding the following information in light of recent changes.
After their belated arrival on Earth via stolen starship of unknown name and origin, leadership of the Combaticons has been transferred to myself (Acting Third-in-command Onslaught).
Membership: Onslaught of [Fugue Valley], Vortex of Tarn, Blast Off of Vos, Brawl of Uraya, Swindle of Kaon. Medic Flatline of Vos is currently in custody of the Decepticon Justice Division, whose exact location is unknown but confirmed active.
After the successful retrieval of the Enigma of Combination from Autobot possession, the Combaticons are now capable of uniting as the combiner “Bruticus.” Refer to Shockwave’s Key Program notes, subsection “Combiners” added by former Second-in-command Starscream and current Acting Second-in-command Thundercracker.

AERIALBOTS
COMMANDER: Silverbolt of Vos SECOND: Skydive of Vos FUNCTION: Aerial Assault & Transport STATUS: KIA (BNR) [1] LOCATION: ???
Personal annotations by Autobot Security Operations Lead Prowl of Polyhex, Standard Cybertronian Stellar Cycle XXXXX
The Aerialbots were formed to counter the Decepticons’ air superiority in standard stellar cycle XXXX. Silverbolt, as an alumnus of the Vosian Armament Complex’s elite military college and the former ‘pride of Vos,’ was chosen to lead due to his unmatched flying prowess.
Their ranks consist(ed) of Silverbolt of Vos, Skydive of Vos, Slingshot of Praxus, Fireflight of Vos, and Air Raid of Tarn.
[1] The Aerialbots were recently shot down over the Battle of Ira Desert (Hydrus-2) while the rest of our forces were caught off guard by the appearance of the Decepticon Justice Division. In our haste to retreat, we had to leave their bodies behind. Retrieval may be possible at a later date.
EDIT (Standard Cybertronian Stellar Cycle XXXXX): Bodies not found. A memorial service is not possible at this time.

PROTECTOBOTS
COMMANDER: Hot Spot of Tarn SECOND: Streetwise of Praxus FUNCTION: Emergency Response & Relations STATUS: Active LOCATION: Earth - The Ark / Protectobot HQ [1]
Personal annotations by Autobot Second-in-command Prowl of Polyhex, Earth Year 202X (Standard Cybertronian Stellar Cycle XXXXX)
The five now-Protectobots each volunteered to escort the Enigma of Combination to Earth in the local year 202X. They were then officially made a squad by Autobot leader Optimus Prime’s (arbitrary) will, with Hot Spot—as the sole member with significant leadership experience—chosen to lead them. Hot Spot thus selected Streetwise, my former Security Operations second-in-command, as his lieutenant.
Their ranks consist of Hot Spot of Tarn, Streetwise of Praxus, Groove of Kalis, Blades of Vos, and First Aid of Tarn.
Note: Shortly after their arrival, Hot Spot saved a human (refer to “Noah [Noa] Suzuki”) from falling at risk to his own life in the middle of a battle (refer to Incident 06.XX-202X). Despite my repeated warnings against involving one of the planetary natives’ youth with our internal affairs, as one human teenager (refer to “Matthew [Matt] Zhou”) is more than enough, the Protectobots have since formed a close friendship with her.
Upon their arrival, an interception by Decepticons (refer to Incident 06.XX.202X-A) prompted Hot Spot to use the Enigma of Combination. Consequently, the Protectobots now have the ability to form a combined mechanism known as “Defensor.” Despite the Protectobots all being overdue for psychological evaluations, Defensor is a remarkably docile and obedient soldier, even when struggling with internal conflict. Refer to Autobot Weapons & Engineering Leads Wheeljack and Perceptor’s Defensor Findings notes for further details.
[1] As a show of goodwill between our forces and local human authorities, a building serving as the headquarters for the Protectobots was built recently in a joint Cybertronian-Terran construction project.

Cal & Jaro
More AU details under the cut!
Touching the dark side can leave an effect on their form. This can listen over time if the use is not continued.
Most initiates have very basic forms, the only influence being their species and the light side of the force. This makes white very common in most young Jedi's forms, and it also effects the base shape to be closer to a dragon.
Cal was on the path to developing wings before Order 66 occurred. Instead, because of scrapper influence, he gained an extra set of arms to help with climbing around.
Cal, of course, didn't realize this for a long time as he didn't turn into his form until the mantis crew picked him up. If he was seen in this form, he would have been caught a lot sooner.

Moray stood in the Square, staring up at the crimson gloom in the sky. Clouds swirling, the sound of helicopters landing and taking off... a flier advertising Grizzco Industries flew into his face. Yep, Big Run was officially here. And Moray was officially the dumbest squid alive for doing this...
But he had to. No more sitting on the sidelines, passively needing to be protected. Today, he is taking the wheel, becoming captain of the... dammit, he forgot the metaphor he was trying to think up. Never mind that, Moray, you have a job to do!
He pulled the shoulder strap on his duffel bag, put on a stern look, and marched right into Grizzco, being greeted by a painfully familiar recorded voice.
"... I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with this opportunity. Good luck!"
Mr. Grizz might just be a radio in a statue, but Moray could never shake the feeling he was being watched in this cursed building. Even without Cubby almost killing him that one time, this job was awful...
Whatever. It was just for the weekend, and then he could go right back to trying to forget this place existed. Alone with the lockers, he changed out of his... ridiculously sweaty clothes... and into an old gloopsuit that was frankly just as bad. And now to punch in and wait for a freelancer crew to get together...
Moray signed into the queue to join the Big Run, not much unlike how he remembered doing a while back, and mentally ran himself through the basics again. Lure the Maws and Scrappers, don't splat the Slammin' Lids, only get the Steelheads if you're assigned a backline weapon... Oh yeah, and kill all Flyfish on sight. He took the rare Brella out of his duffel bag.
"You're gonna look so cool once you figure out how to get good at this again," Moray said to himself, making his way over to the practice room to test the weapon out. The canopy was completely busted, so no shield... and the recoil of just one shot nearly knocked him off his balance. "Or you're gonna die. That also works..."

SIGH
so it's time i talk abt splatoon raiders !! while ive mostly been posting about salmon run , i ADORE deepcut . theyre my favorite idol group actually ! I was always disappointed how they were pretty sidelined in the story of their own game . getting sidelined by ss + the 3's in the main story , and they didnt get shit in soider besides some mentions ig . So you bet i was surprised , finding out Deepcut was going to star in their own spinoff game ! Splatoon Raiders . So here i'm gonna yap about my thoughts n theories . At the end of this ramble , there will also be a link to my friends video ! She did a video on youtube of her theories , and i share some with her . Also her video's pretty good i'd love if yall support her ! THIS RANT WILL NOT HAVE IMAGES , i'd recommend rewatching the trailer before reading . NOW TO MY THOUGHTS ! I'm in the boat that thinks Splatoon Raiders will be Salmon Run based in SOME way . I have a few reasons for thinking this so i'll get into some . I think the helicopter we see Deepcut in , is one loaned by Grizzco . Loaned or just fucking stole they couldve done that too lol . I think the person piloting the helicopter , may be a different person than our MC , mechanic . theyre shown limping , with Frye helping carry em . While Mechanic seemed PERFECTLY fine . Also to me , their eyes seemed more . yellow-y , while mechanic's are an orange red . I think they could be a Grizzco worker but who knows ? In the trailer , a tornado is shown . The only place in Splatoon we see tornadoes , is in Salmon Run . As it's one of the gimmick waves . { i adore tornado btw anyways } in said scene , on the ground you can see a green boot . i think it comes from a Grizzco Slopsuit . Which could imply that Grizzco workers have been on Spiralhite island , I've personally theorized that Spiralhite island used to be a Salmon Run spot , one we've just never gone to . Well until now . I believe Deepcut heard of the golden glow , got curious + wanted the moneee , and so they ventured to Spiralhite island . THIS NEXT THEORY I have alot of trust in . I HOPE THIS ONES TRUE . I think i know what the Eye at the end of the trailer was . i think . It's a new king salmonid . One whom Deepcut n crew awoke . And this king salmonid ? is the golden glow of Spiralhite island . The king Salmonid's in splatoon 3 function by , the more you play salmon run , the more your bar on the side of your screen goes up . The kings recognize your scent . More and more the more you play . And at some point you awaken them . Causing them to come out of the water to come kick your tiny inkfish ass . I THINK THATS WHAT DEEPCUT N GANG DID . I think this new king salmonid is going to be goldie based . As of course , i did say its the golden glow of spiralhite island . BUT IT COULD BE UNRELATED . I did have another theory of the golden glow , i just prefer the new king theory i dub it . Said other theory , being splatoon scrapping old ideas . IIRC Eggstra work was going to function differently . Being a harder ver of salmon run , with the bosses only dropping one egg thats 5X in size . SO the golden glow has the chance of being a giant fucking golden egg . I PREFER THE NEW KING THEORY THOUGH !! I also think Mechanic is . Kinda similar to a Salmonid . Mechanic is someone who takes scraps and makes inventions with them . You know who else does that ? THE FISH . some examples : The Steelhead uses trashbags as bombs , The Stinger uses pots to get up high , SCRAPPER . ITS IN THE NAME . maybe that'll be important . but it's just something i thought i'd point out . that's enough of my theorizing ... for now until we get more info . overall , i'm SUPER excited for Splatoon Raiders ! I'm excited to see my babies get the spotlight , and hopefully more development ! I HOPE SOME OF THIS IS TRUE .. As mentioned , here's the link to my friend video ! Check her out , she's amazing n her theories are good too ! https://youtu.be/FNmMmQQUYPc?si=ERUFfk6-mQgxTtlA

im in agony over your last post because I can’t stop thinking about how, when ford comes back, he will stare at Stanley’s older, wrinkled face and it will be the first time he gets to see an older Stanley and it will be HIS Stanley …. but by that time, how may times will he have fallen in love with another version of his brother’s face? Meanwhile Stanley will be looking at his twins face that he will have only been able to see in the mirror for the past 30 years. I AM SICK!!!!! im sorry this probably doesn’t make any sense but i really need you to know that i am genuinely in tears and gagging over this au. your brain is both beautiful but also kind of evil.
Ehehehehehehehe
1 thing kinda for context I have ideas for all the stans Ford loved before, and while he did love them and does mourn them his relationships were built on the foundation that he cannot get to his own Stan and they cannot get to their own Ford but they can get to eachother and if they squint its almost the same, it's close enough.
First live Stan he meets seven months after the junkyard: Stan calls himself a pirate but he and his crew (run by ghost Jimmy Snakes) are more like ship scrappers, everyone's got at least a little mechanical know-how, they find dead ships and salvage what they can. They stick together because they're all homeless wanderers that can't get home, but in Ford's perspective they're intimidating - other than Stan. Their Stan seems put together, like he knows what he's doing, but they're the same age and Stan's only been out of his dimension 3 weeks longer. They both project the twin they lost onto the other and are in a sexual plus a bit of cuddling relationship for a while. Ford is fond of him, Stan's the only reason Ford was allowed to join the crew instead of getting shot for stealing from them, and this Stan looks healthier, had a similar experience with Bill in the junkyard, and Ford feels like he can relax around him. Then they find a trap ship, one that looks dead but is just waiting for scrappers to connect their ships to kill the crew and take both ships. Stan was trying to negotiate because he was a stupid 26 year old with a gun to his head but then someone grabbed Ford and Stan got himself shot trying to get to him.
The next Stan Ford meets and has more than a one night stand with is nine years after that, a whole decade since the junkyard. The Stan is a decade younger than him, blind and feverish and and won't let anyone touch him until he has a six-fingered hand in his. That one wasn't a dimensional traveller, he was just dealing with Rico and Ford happened to be in the dimension and wanted a few chemicals from Rico to test as bill-destroying material that happened to be very illegal. He found Stan seizing in a hotel room and Ford decided he was only going to stay until Stan was alright. But Stan took to the bare minimum like a stray dog, doing what Ford wanted, begging him to stay, promising him he'll be better this time around. Ford can't stay, doesn't want to take away this Stan with a perfectly good Ford already so he dragged Stan up to Oregon to try to shove at his brother. But Ford opens the door with a crossbow and Stan gets shot in the neck and Ford beats the other Ford to death in his entryway. Ford had hoped that Stan's being pushed through the portals by Fords were almost always accidents and Ford's would never hurt Stans because He would never hurt Stan (not again) but no, this just proves him and all Fords are a disease. He leaves the dimension quickly after that.
The third Stan he met 25 years after Ford fell through the portal and it was in the junkyard. Ford had gone there with a plan to die trying to kill Bill, it was a bad few years before then and Ford had most of his gun working, enough it might injure Bill. But before he could find him, he looked in a sea of bodies and one looked back. He immediately quit his suicide mission, grabbed the half-frozen Stan and took him somewhere safe. Stan asked why Ford hated him, Ford said Fords never hated Stans, because Stan couldn't prove him wrong. Ford tried to leave him behind a few times, but Stan was determined, he did more and more reckless things trying to follow Ford until Ford just let him follow because maybe he would stop almost dying to try to keep up if Ford made it easier. Ford was old enough to be his dad, he was old enough to be all the multiverse Stanleys' dads at this point, but when Stan tried sleeping with him, Ford went along with it. It was mostly just sex and company, he didn't notice Stan was fawning because he was new and terrified. Didn't notice Stan only seemed to come onto him when he was in a bad mood and needed the distraction. Didn't notice Stan did whatever Ford wanted and shrank whenever Ford raised his voice. Eventually Ford did figure it out, and he was so horrified with himself he dropped Stan off with some interdimensional refugees and left as fast as possible. A month later he tried to visit to apologize properly, but Stan was gone, put a gun in his mouth the week before, his ashes were already space dust. Ford resolved himself to never take advantage of a Stan again. His last 5 years mostly celibate though made him cranky and more determined to finish his gun.
Then he had Bill in his crosshairs, and his Stanley decided to open the portal, and he came through the portal mad, he really did. But then he saw his brother with gray hair and crows feet - his brother, his Stanley, the one he'd spent 30 years wondering about, the one he was almost certain would be dead long before he could get gray hair just like every other Stan. His Stanley looked so happy to see him, arms outstretched and a huge smile on his face and Ford fell into his arms because he was so so happy. But after that he grew distant because every time Ford got close, every time Ford tried to do what was best for Stanley, every time Ford trusted Stanley, Stanley died.

i LOVE your responibility au YES YES YES (goes feral)
my apolocheese if youve said this b4 but how does the gang get rescued? Do dai and swans get the ship working somehow? Mayhaps a rescue signal of sorts? This is just a general thing but i wonder if there are like scrappers or wtvr who go along trails that missing(/crashed) ships were supposed to go on b4 going off the radar.
I just love this au and I think i need to see them interact with the swife(swansea wife) bc i LOVE her design its so peak. And I want to see them all safe and sound on earth and happy and I need to see anya and daisuke and curly playing with the dog and all hanging around the swansea and paloma household.
ITS JSUT SO PEAK........ i love your art and storytelling >u<
thank you for enjoying my stuff!!! 💛🩵 as for how they get rescued, i do think i'd like to go for the route where swansea and daisuke manage to fix and get an SOS signal out. also just before the crash happened, curly managed to send an SOS call specifically to pony express. however i think pony express is that kind of capitalist nightmare company where they take their sweet ass time sending a rescue crew, because they prioritize making money over using money for the well-being of their employees. so the tulpar crew has to figure out how to get a general SOS signal out and hope someone just happens to come across them. it takes months, but a ship does find them. i'm leaning towards that ship being The Unreliable from the Outer Worlds game, because i love pointless crossovers. plus outer worlds has a setting filled with capitalist nightmare space companies that pony express would fit right in with. although i would have to adjust the year outer worlds takes place in if i want to keep my gen alpha swansea headcanon, lol.
and paloma (the swife) will definitely welcome the crew with open arms and tons of food. 🙏 swansea will get to show off his paella-making skills that he used to win his wife's heart too. also the crew sues the fuck out of pony express and their survival story goes viral and they make bank. 👍👍👍
