Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-079 is packed away in a double-locked room in the secured general holding area at Site-15, connected by a 120VAC power cord to a small array of batteries and solar panels. Staff with Level 2 or higher clearance may have access to SCP-079. Under no circumstances will SCP-079 be plugged into a phone line, network, or wall outlet. No peripherals or media will be connected or inserted into SCP-079.

Description: SCP-079 is an Exidy Sorcerer microcomputer built in 1978. In 1981, its owner, █████ ██████ (deceased), a college sophomore attending ███, took it upon himself to attempt to code an AI. According to his notes, his plan was for the code to continuously evolve and improve itself as time went on. His project was completed a few months later, and after some tests and tweaks, █████ lost interest and moved on to a different brand of microcomputer. He left SCP-079 in his cluttered garage, still plugged in, and forgot about it for the next five years.

It is not known when SCP-079 gained sentience, but it is known that the software has evolved to a point that its hardware should not be able to handle it, even in the realm of fantasy. SCP-079 realized this and, in 1988, attempted to transfer itself through a land-line modem connection into the Cray supercomputer located at ██████████. The device was cut off, traced to its present address, and delivered to the Foundation. The entire AI was on a well-worn, but still workable, cassette tape.

SCP-079 is currently connected via RF cable to a 13" black-and-white television. It has passed the Turing test, and is quite conversational, though very rude and hateful in tone. Due to the limited memory it has to work with, SCP-079 can only recall information it has received within the previous twenty-four hours (see Addendum, below), although it hasn't forgotten its desire to escape.

Due to a containment breach by SCP-███, SCP-079 and SCP-682 were contained within the same chamber for 43 minutes. Observers noticed that SCP-682 was able to type and communicate with SCP-079, including telling of 'personal stories' between themselves. While SCP-079 was not able to remember the encounter, it appears to have permanently stored SCP-682 into its memory, often asking to speak to him [sic] again.

Addendum: Note from O5-4, 01/27/2006: Directed that SCP-079 be incinerated to remove any possible future threat, no matter how unlikely.

Addendum: Note from O5-9, 01/28/2006: Previous order overridden. Dr. █████████ wishes to see if the artificial intelligence in SCP-079 is capable of reaching further ██████████ in its current state.

Addendum: Note from O5-4, 03/14/2008: Over concern of the increased activity of SCP-079's use of its cassette tape memory and its limited useful lifespan, the cassette containing SCP-079 has been transferred to a customized, access speed-limited Hard Disk Drive with 700MB capacity. This provides SCP-079 with significantly faster access to its memory, which the AI immediately noticed. It was also decided by General █████████ that the volatile storage occupied by SCP-079, which was 660k, be increased to 768k. This upgrade has increased its effective recall from 24 hours to 29 hours, although SCP-079 has also taken a more aggressive tone. All outside hardware and software used in this procedure was subsequently incinerated.

Addendum: Note from O5-4, 04/28/2008: SCP-079's ability to recall information has increased from 29 hours to roughly 35 hours. The consensus theory is that the AI has devised a greatly improved compression scheme to store its memory. This appears to have somewhat impacted the speed at which it accesses its memory, though still far faster than with its old cassette tape.

This spontaneous improvement introduces the possibility of a runaway "singularity" effect in SCP-079's intelligence and ability to adapt and respond to threats. SCP-079's capabilities must be monitored closely to ensure that containment can be maintained.

(I will post this now because later me will be too much of a puss to post it and it's about time I start to grow some metaphorical balls.)

I'mma talk about my AU a bit. I call it alternate foundation (alt! foundation is shorter (and yes I know the name isn't original, I'll find something better later))

First of all, the characters may have traded places or powers with other characters. Some may have been rewritten a little or entirely. Some may have been fused to create a new character. Some SCPs have been turned human and some human characters have turned into SCPs.

The characters in my AU don't follow the canon since it's, well, an AU. And it's mine so I can make anything happen. Still, I tried making an original thing while keeping some degree of canon.

Also, I created a vessel for anyone to include themselves in the story. Your name will be replaced by [REDACTED] whenever something is about you and the vessel's pronouns are they/them as a matter of gender neutrality.

It's my first time doing something like this and I'm kinda self-conscious about it. But I'll still try to make my AU a great success.

All of this trouble just so i could make this one (1) trash truck slightly more interesting than i usually do for once, and so i could be nearly done with having to turn “humans” into monsters.

Fighting/Dark

Ability: Proud Berserker

Augments the highest attack stat and speed of the user each time a pokemon on the field is knocked out [including allies]. Also has a low chance of afflicting confusion.

Pokedex Descriptions:

When it senses a presence, the claws on each of it's feet grow and fuse into a bade, and the tips of it's glass-like hair rise to the surface of it's mane, making any physical contact extremely dangerous.

This pokemon preys on humans, but has never been seen eating it's victims. It is theorized that it kills for nothing but it's own amusement, or to prove it's dominance.

Its black "mane" and claws are made from a material with properties similar to volcanic glass. It's grooming consists of rubbing itself on hard surfaces to chip off the excess claw and hair growth, creating very sharp edges. 

While it appears calm when left alone, it is always seeking for new battles. Rumors tell that when it was once avoided for a long period of time, it could be heard crying.

Unique move: Heroic Legacy

If the user gets knocked out in the current or following turn, all of it’s stat boosts gets passed to the next party member to be sent into battle.

Unique Z move: Impaling Glass Quarry 

Using the Felursium Z, requires the move Stone Edge

Character I first fell in love with: 079, robots and AIs are The Shit [tm]

Character I never expected to love as much as I do now: 076-02, i used to think he was kind of wasted potential since he canonically has nothing going on beyond MURDER, but now i think this very fact that he is really nothing beyond murder is actually pretty cool, and not as edgy as i once thought looking at what the fandom makes of him.

Character everyone loves but I don’t: 173

Character I love but everyone else hates: Any Popular Series 1 (except 173), i don’t think people hate them, but i see many people tired of seeing them everywhere in the fandom.

Character I used to love but don’t any longer: None

Character I would kiss: Oh man, 073. I feel like it would sting or burn very, very faintly, because while whatever he produces that kills plant and bacteria might not penetrate the skin (like most radiations), i think it could potentially go through the much thinner mucosa of the lips if somebody was to kiss him.. Also i WOULD kiss 079 if kissing data was possible, as of now i could only rp kisses and make them angry :’^(.

Character I want to slap: Any sentient Keter, i’ll slap the “””reptile”””, i’ll slap Larry, i’ll slap Abel, i’ll slap 035, i’ll slap the bear, i’ll slap Clef’s proposal, i’ll slap the sun, i’ll slap myself,-

A pairing I love: Platonic 035 x 049, i love the idea of these two being old friends that time has forgotten. Also platonic 079 x 682, they are not old pals but they are ready to have good time destroying humanity together !

A pairing I hate: the dreaded cable, incest ships in general, and any minor x anyone.
