They do receive rights in containment, such as the right to food and water, some are too violent or dangerous to have rights. And some are not human.

And he was the most dangerous man alive, he had to be neutralised to protect the world.

Northern Arizona University Initiative Searching for Seniors to Help Other Seniors

YUMA, Ariz., June 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — The Civic Service Institute at Northern Arizona University, which connects volunteers to service opportunities throughout the state, is launching a Senior Companion Program (SCP) in the Yuma area to pair volunteers aged 55 and over with seniors who could benefit from their friendship, company and help.

Volunteers in the program perform tasks that allow homebound seniors to maintain their independent living. This can include running errands, driving clients to medical appointments or other outings, and providing a vital connection to the outside world.

Nearly 90 percent of the clients in SCP say their Senior Companion volunteers help them stay in their own homes and that they are more satisfied with their lives as a result of these interactions. Volunteers also are often helping the client’s primary caregiver by giving them a respite from their duties.

But clients and caregivers are not the only ones who benefit from the program.

A study released earlier this year showed that after two years of service, first-time Senior Companions reported improvements in health, decreased depression and less social isolation, noting the program led to personal growth, new friends, and a sense of accomplishment from performing meaningful community service.

Those interested in volunteering with SCP need to be at least 55 years old, meet income guidelines as established by the federal government, and be able to dedicate at least 10 hours a week to the program. Volunteers receive extensive training from both the Civic Service Institute and the Western Arizona Council of Governments, which matches volunteers with clients.

In addition to the satisfaction of helping others, volunteers receive a tax-free stipend of $2.65 per hour, reimbursement for mileage, and supplemental insurance coverage while volunteering.

SCP-2053, SCP-4999, SCP-5699 and SCP-3017 are the only SCPs that truly bring tears to my eyes. I didn't think a collaborative horror writing project could make me cry, but I was proven wrong.

SCP 3017 is a good example of this. He could have easily slipped trough the cracks. He actually would have been better off for it.

How many different anomalies were out there but never had a chance to become an SCP because despite their amazing or odd quirks they weren’t impervious and were destroyed/killed before being discovered?

My SCP Neighborhood AU, it takes place during the broken masquerade cannon and is a project started by Anne to socialize the scps together more and socialize them with some people, but from a distance. It's a gated community. They have access to social media (not all of them, but some) and are allowed to post.

This AU is a work in progress but here is what I have so far.. Below the cut are their living arrangements. after I get a request and a writing thing I'm almost done with finished I'll draw out the neighborhood layout

073 and 076 live in a house that they designed together, it's made from stone and bricks with some laminated wood detailing and plently of windows.

3017 and 1504 live in a duplex. 049 and 035 live in a duplex and 105 lives in a duplex with 507. There are more scps that are in duplexes but I dunno who yet.

All of the little misters live in an apartment complex so they can each have their own space and still live together. Ms. Sweetie lives on lvl 1 along with my oc, Mx. Sparkle. Mr. Lie and Mr. Stripes share a room.

This neighborhood built some where in either Utah, Nevada or Oklahoma.

The scps got to choose what type of house they wanted to live in, not all the scps live here but the ones that accepted the offer do. At any point they wNt to go back to their sites they're welcome to.
