Series I, Part II
SCP-007 - Abdominal Planet
This one kinda scares the hell out of me, to be honest. Not the skip itself (dude with a planet where his abdomen should be, kinda weird, but otherwise fairly tame for an SCP entry). No, what scares me about this one is (and this will be a recurring theme) the way they’re just holding a dude hostage with no real oversight or recourse. Sure, the guy’s SSN comes up as invalid, but still. They’ve got this guy, they’re denying him access to the outside world, and…they’re just gonna get away with it.
As I said, this will be a recurring theme. In a lot of cases, I think the actual containment of things (usually people) is worse than the thing itself.
7/10
SCP-008 - Zombie Plague
This one does nothing for me. It’s exactly what it says on the tin, and while that’s fine, it just doesn’t appeal to me. All the same, I feel hesitant to give it a low rating because it is well written, it just isn’t my thing.
6/10
SCP-009 - Red Ice
This one’s kinda neat. It’s evil water (you can tell it’s evil because it’s red). It can contaminate normal water (including the water in people) and will kill them. It’s probably from another dimension. I don’t have much to say about this one. It’s just a fun concept.
7/10
SCP-010 - Collars of Control
I don’t like this one.
Not conceptually. Conceptually it’s great. Collars that allow whoever has the remote complete control over the wearer as long as they understand how to use the remote is a great concept. I love it. I also hate it, because one of the lines is “The most abnormal feature of the collars is the effect they have on the body morphology. They allow the user of the remote to reconfigure the shape of the victim to an extent that is apparently only limited by the knowledge of the programming language of the remote.” Nope. Hate it. I can take a lot of body horror, but like…something about that sets off all my Nope! Alarms.
9/10
SCP-011 - Sentient Civil War Memorial Statue
This one’s just kinda sweet? Again, it’s exactly what it says on the tin: A Civil War Memorial Statue in Vermont that just happens to be alive and sentient. It’s nice. I liked reading this one.

dp x dc prompt or smth
Danny was lost. Yes, lost.
“Hey, can you point me in the direction of the bathroom?” He asked a random dude.
“HOW DID YOU GET IN THE BATCAVE?!”
“Jeez no need to yell, I just want to find the bathroom man.”
—
Danny was lost again, damn he has bad luck.
“Hey man, do you know how to get to Crime Alley (or really any other street)?”
“HOW DID YOU GET HERE?! WE’RE 3,000 METERS UNDER THE OCEAN?!”
“My phone won’t work :(“ He says as he looks at his phone, which was not working.

Thoughts about zombie viruses in media?
(No presser to answer, I just thought you might have thoughts about it. Feel free to ignore this ^^;)
HI!!! IM SO GLAD YOU ASKED
Zombie viruses are INCREDIBLY hit or miss for me. I either love them or hate them and very often hate them.
My main problem is that SO much zombie media tries to be accurate to real life or take real world inspiration, and as someone who knows a lot about diseases, that ruins it for me SO bad. No matter what you do to Rabies it will not do that. Neither will prions. Honestly prions as a zombie virus often has racist roots in misperception of the Kuru outbreak in the Fore people. (Looking at you DEAD ISLAND.)
I like zombie viruses that are removed from reality. That's honestly why I've enjoyed the MLP infection au trend so much- quite a few of 'em hit the perfect sweet zone of fantasy science and pure fantasy. The Resident Evil series is in a similar spot- the science in that series is COMPLETELY insane and means nothing and it's beautiful.
When zombie media focuses on scientific explanations that are just- not science, it leaves out the much more amazing chance for weird story telling. Give me more magic viruses! Ancient curses! Completely implausible viruses that acknowledge they're implausible and don't focus on it!
....also sometimes when people learn I like diseases they immediately ask me about zombies and it makes me want to bite someone.
#ITS 2AM SO THIS ISNT AS EXPLAINY AS ID LIKE BUT#I HOPE THIS AT LEAST KINDA EXPLAINS MY FEELINGS#tldr less dead island and quarantine more Resident evil and mlp aus#also one time i rewrote scp-008 to be a magical curse rather than a prion and I stand by it forever

Experiment: AAL.4986
Subject: SCP-AAL, Code Name: Body Melting Vitamins
Current condition of subject: Still highly unstable and prone to cause spontaneous, often lethal, mutation to its consumer.
Testing purpose: To cross test SCP-AAL with other SCP's in hopes of seeing new ways it can benefit the Foundation.
Staff Involved: Dr. Zeek, Dr. Bones, Dr. Susan Love, Researcher Stargize, and Researcher Millwell.
***
Test 1 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-484
Set up: Two D Class were put in the center of the testing chamber with 4 Foundation security units in the room surrounding them. Both D Class are sitting on their own chairs with a table in the middle of them while being positioned to face one another. in the middle of the table is a single pill of SCP-ALL and a single pill of SCP-484. Both were designed to look similar and in the likeness of normal vitamin pills as to not arouse suspicion and therefore hesitation. Only one of the D Class is to be ordered to take the pills and maintain eye contact with the other.
Result: After being ordered to take the pills the D Class did so and followed the order of looking into the other D class eyes. After 5 minutes nothing happened until the D Class who did not take the pills entered a semi-hypnotic state and the D Class who did started shaking around irregularly. This continued for 2 minutes until the hypnotized D-Class had a sudden seizure for 30 seconds before dying. Afterwards the D Class who did take the pills started having a seizure himself. The Security units were the first to report that his face started growing and shifting to look like a mix between his own face and the face of the other now dead D Class. His face kept shifting between the two and one time, both faces manifested side by side on the head.
Unfortunately, one of the Security units made eye contact and started having a seizure for 10 seconds before dying. Dr. Zeek quickly ordered the remaining security units to turn off the sight on their helmets and to turn on motion detection. The D Class continued seizing only now he was switching between the D Class as well as the now dead security unit's face. After about two continuous minutes of this it got to a point that the body started bloating leading to limbs and organs growing out of the D Class. Only after one minute did the mutations stop, and the D Class finally died. All his clothes had ripped off, there were limbs and tumorous growths all over the body, and his head had split into three separate heads still fused together but on the verge of separating, each head and face grotesquely resembling a victim. The body was later dissected and discovered to have the three brains of the three heads fused as well. Researcher Millwell as a Neuroscientist was excited about this and took the brain to research later while the rest of the body was deemed useless and incinerated.
Endnote: We are no closer to finding a way to stabilize SCP-AAL, but we possibly did just find a way to assassinate multiple targeted Persons of Interest at once.
***
Test 2 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-008
Set Up: A pill capsule was made containing SCP-AAL and SCP-008 separately. A single D Class was sent into the room with two AFA-1 units watching over him. He is told to sit on the chair and take the pill on the table. Unknown to him there were three other D Class outside the room that would be sent in once by Dr. Bones's command.
Result: The D Class took the pill but experienced no effects for 2 minutes, afterwards the D Class expressed that he was experiencing head pain that got progressively worse. This continued for nearly a minute until he started coughing blood and seizing. patches of his skin quickly started falling off due to accelerated necrosis and after 30 seconds he died. He later woke up and searched around the room seemingly sniffing for something.
Dr. Bone gives the order and the door hiding the three D class opens quickly gaining the attention of the zombie. Surprisingly the Zombie started screeching at the sight of them and even ran at them despite its muscles being rotten. On Dr. Bones commands the two AFA-1 units to stand down and leave the zombie alive. On the other side of the room three shelves opened form the floor, all of which were filled with weapons.
The D Class noticed the shelves and even the fact that the one of the zombie's legs broke causing it to fall to the ground. The three D Class are terrified of the zombie and instinctively go for the weapons but once accidentally ran too close to the zombie and got grabbed. Suddenly the zombie's muscles started regenerating suddenly and even expanded larger and stronger than before. The zombie bit the D Class in the leg and threw him away afterwards leaving him thrashing with pain. Afterwards the zombie got up and ran after the other two. One of them only managed to get bat in time and started hitting the zombie only for it to break quite quickly. The zombie got on top of the D Class and started eating him while the last D Class got an assault rifle.
He quickly ran to the zombie and started shooting it though he failed to hit the head and ended up wasting the whole clip. The zombie's body was ripped up by the bullets, but it was still able to move. However, its muscles and bones tried regenerating but kept forming wrong and as such the body started bloating with failed formations of muscles and bones hanging all over the body. Eventually it just started falling apart and died on its own as it crawled to the last D Class. The second D Class to die got up as it was infected but as soon as it stood its exposed heart started beating and growing at an accelerated pace. It quickly blew up and the rest of the body started falling apart as a result.
The last D Class Survivor sighed in relief knowing it was all over. However, the Doctors and researchers knew this was a mistake as they could see the first D Class to die was now a zombie and quickly ambushed him, biting his shoulder and killing him instantly. This zombie was much different as its skin didn't suffer as much necrosis and its muscles were large and well-formed which was not how the host's body was before he died and was infected.
Soon the last D Class started coming back as a zombie and it slowly started getting up. However, it was still on its knees as its muscles started expanding beyond control and quickly started exploding like balloons inside the body. This continued until all that was left was a skeleton that slowly died. Finally, Dr. Zeek gave the AFA-1's the order to shoot the last zombie on the nape, paralyzing it and eventually killing it. The test is finally over.
Endnote: The results were... spontaneous, but promising. All bodies will be dissected, and all samples will be collected to see what caused two of the zombies to grow stronger and others to spontaneously blew up. It may look random but randomness, more often than not, secretly holds the best results.

Test 3 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-383.
Set Up: A D Class is sedated and injected with SCP-383, afterwards he is placed into the testing chamber on a chair with SCP-AAL pill on the table. There are no security units; instead, the secret room connected to the testing chamber is filled with AFA-2 units all armed with different weapons.
Result: The D Class takes the pill as instructed the door to the secret room opens once to allow a single AFA-2 unit, holding a bat, to enter. The D Class is obviously distressed by this and asks what's going on, however no one answers him as the AFA-2 gets closer with the obvious intent to attack. Suddenly he starts coughing and eventually pukes a Gladius sword. He seems weak and confused at first but as the AFA-2 unit gets closer he quickly grabs the sword and tries to defend himself. He strikes the sword at the Bat leaving a large cut and causing the AFA-2 to stagger a little, he even stands tall and looks at his leg with a hit of confusion but also pride. It seems he's surprised at how strong his leg feels. However soon his leg started bloating and growing thicker as a result. It ended up reaching a point that the flesh burst on his leg showing the bones were growing abnormally thick; only to quickly dissolve.
Dr. Zeek quickly ordered the AFA-2 unit to stop and return to the secret room so they could observe what would happen next without issue. The D Class fell to the ground and screamed in pain though he suddenly started coughing again and this time he hacked up a prosthetic leg. He did not stop this time as he also barfed a medical kit, a gun, some pain killers, and some bandages. However, he started barfing the items non-stop, and it got to the point that his mouth was being ripped open due to how large they were. Eventually the items were coming out too fast and started stuffing up in his throat busting it open and killing him quickly. Soon after his body seemingly deflated as the rest of his bones dissolved.
Endnote: It appeared that SCP-383 was using his calcium and bone marrow to create the items which are typical of the disease. However, it appears that with the introduced damage SCP-AAL tried to heal the D Class via accelerated regeneration. However, as is typical of SCP-AAL, it ended up overloading the body and just got the host killed as a result. Still, the fact that it was able to overload SCP-383's anomalous effects as well was amazing, perhaps this data can be useful later.
***
Test 4 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-651
Set Up: A D Class was sedated and later infected with SCP-651. Afterwards she was placed in the containment cell and sat on the chair with a table in front of her. The table has a single pill of SCP-AAL on it. No security units are present.
Result: After the D Class awakens, she is told to take the pill and does so without worry. Nothing happens for 3 minutes until the D Class starts screaming and complaining that her skin feels like it's on fire. Suddenly parts of her body start bloating while her fingers either start webbing or fusing together. It gets progressively worse until the D Class becomes a large blob of flesh coated with her skin. Suddenly the blob started developing boils as it continued to grow, soon these boils started spewing mucus and blood all around it. Dr. Zeek is disgusted like the other Doctors and researchers, so they call for the end of the experiment. Especially since the blob keeps growing so it will either fill up the room with the mucus and blood or itself.
AFA-1 units were sent in with Chemical Spray Guns loaded with Necrosis Venom and quickly sprayed the entire room to have it sterilized. It takes about 5 minutes before all of the mucus, blood, and the blob itself is all disintegrated. The AFA-1 units are ordered to continue spraying the room for an additional 10 minutes and finally each other before they leave the room to prevent possible SCP-AAL infection.
Endnote: Testing is halted for 10 hours to allow the Necrosis venom to dry up and evaporate. Dr. Susan Love reported seeing several blobs of blood and mucus moving on their own as if their alive. Despite this Dr. Zeek did not permit keeping any samples and to continue with sterilizing the whole room. His reasoning was because that anomalous behavior was no different to typical SCP-AAL after it had killed a host. Other than that, nothing remarkable happened; test 4 is declared a failure.
***
Test 6 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-500
Set Up: Two pills are placed on the table in the middle of the testing chamber.
Result: After the D Class enters the room, she takes both pills as ordered. After a minute, her throat quickly starts dissolving as well as the esophagus and bits of the stomach. The D Class dies instantly as a result.
Endnote: That was... not what we expected but it's useful info none-the-less. Now we know that SCP-AAL can infect all cells it comes into contact with. We already knew this, but the speed was much faster than we thought. more research is required.
***
Test 7 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-016
Set Up: D Class is sedated and injected with SCP-016 before being taken to the testing chamber. A Single Pill of SCP-AAL is placed on the table in front of the D Class.
Result: After taking the pill as ordered nothing happens for an hour until she claims the room is too cold then complains it is too hot. After about 5 more hours the D Class starts melting only for the melted biomass to become frozen with ice.
Endnote: Interesting results, but still not enough. Perhaps we need to make things more extreme.
***
Test 7.1 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-016
Set Up: Same as before only now Dr. Susan Love orders to have the AFA-2's from the previous test enter with their same randomized melee weapons.
Result: Upon entering the D Class is obviously distressed and gets up and tries to leave while begging to be let out. An AFA-2 armed with a fire axe approaches first, trying to attack the D Class. The resulting attack leads to the D Class raising his arm and it suddenly being coated in hard bone like armor. The D Class is shocked only to scream in pain as he starts transforming into a beast like monster with a sturdy exoskeleton. The other AFA-2 units charge attacking the monster as it tears them to pieces one by one.
Only an AFA-2 armed with a sledgehammer does any significant damage to the beast, causing small cracks on the exoskeleton. Out of some of the cracks, tentacles busted out and slashed the AFA-2 to pieces. The D Class Beast kept on mutating and at an accelerated pace while visibly growing as a result. However, after reaching a size of 5 meters, it suddenly froze up only to turn into dust. The Final form of the beast was a monster of flesh and bones with two large wings, two heads, three tails, several tentacles coming out of its stomach and four legs.
Endnote: Now that's more like it, we got some very valuable data form this. Perhaps these results should be kept in mind when considering future endeavors for Project the Last Legion.
***
Test 8 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-217
Set Up: A single D Class was introduced into the testing Chamber. On the table is placed a plate with a single pill of SCP-AAL and a glass of water filled with SCP-217.
Result: After taking the pill and water, nothing happened for 2 hours. Suddenly the D Class complains of having stomach pain. Suddenly cogs, screws, springs, and other mechanical pieces and even structures started bursting out of his body. As his body was torn apart, he screamed in pain but only for a minute until pieces started tearing through his head. The end result was a torn-up corpse with a mechanical leg and three mechanical arms sticking out. One of the arms had an opening that opened and closed like a mouth. Another arm and the leg had several mechanical eyes attached to them. The rest of the remains were either torn up dead flesh or random pieces and strictures that seemed to resemble deformed organs. The obvious parts of SCP-217 infection keep twitching around and making noise for an additional 3 hours before falling apart.
Endnote: Definingly not what I was expecting but the results are promising none the less. Perhaps we should... mix things up.
***
Test 8.1 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-217 and SCP-383
Set Up: A single D Class is sedated and injected with SCP-383 before being brought into the testing chamber. On the table is a plate with a single pill of SCP-AAL and a glass of water filled with SCP-217. In a secret room next to the testing chamber 20 AFA-2 droids armed with random melee weapons. 5 in the very back are armed with assault rifles.
Result: After taking the pill with the water as ordered the AFA-2's wait for two hours before entering the testing chamber. Once they enter the D Class is quickly distressed and demands to know what is going on. An AFA-2 with a spear moves forward to strike the D Class when suddenly his arm starts twitching. The D Class screams in pain as part of his arm morphs into a shotgun. It raises up and fires at the AFA-2 significantly damaging it and the spear. Another AFA-2 with a sword sneaks up behind the D Class to strike down on him with a sword. Suddenly his other arm morphs into a long shield with sharp edges, the D Class is shocked to see this almost as if he doesn't have control of his body. Suddenly the sharp shield slices at the AFA-2 almost cleanly cutting it in half.
The D Class screams out in pain as his skin is visibly pulsating and bulging as if something underneath is flesh is growing. Soon bits of his flesh get torn open as mechanical structures and pieces start stabbing their way out. An AFA-2 with a sledgehammer tries to attack but the shield hand blocks the attack again. An AFA-2 armed with a katana and programmed with advanced martial arts and sword techniques rushed forward and sliced through the shield arm. The D Class cries out distortedly in pain, especially as the skin on his face falls off to show a disfigured face of clockwork mechanisms and parts. Soon all of his skin and clothes fall off to show the rest of his body suffering the same effect of clockwork mechanisms constantly shifting, changing, breaking apart and being replaced with new parts.
Suddenly the sliced Shield arm falls off and is replaced with a new arm with a flamethrower and several katanas attached to it, all of them arranged as claws. The flamethrower aims at the closest AFA-2's but another AFA-2 armed with a shield, rushes forward and blocks the attack. Meanwhile the AFA-2 with the sledgehammer goes behind the D Class and starts hitting him badly damaging the clock work body. The broken parts start bleeding oil but soon afterwards one of the larger wounds grows out an assault rifle that quickly fires on the AFA-2, destroying it. Soon the shotgun arm starts morphing into fusion of several different guns and fires ballistically at the AFA-2's destroying almost all of them. The Shield bearing AFA-2 rushes the D Class and shield bashes them as much as possible. The D Class screams mechanically in pain as its gears and mechanisms get crushed by the force. However, it quickly grabs the shield with its mutant mechanical arms and crushes the AFA-2, finally finishing off the rest afterwards.
Researcher Stargize was about to give the order to have the Assault Rifle bearing AFA-2's to fire. However, Dr. Zeek belay that order and pointed to the D Class that suddenly started twitching and shaking almost insanely. Soon its mechanical human shaped limbs started bursting out of his chest and head ripping his clockwork body apart. After about 5 minutes all limbs stop moving and the D Class falls to the ground dead. Soon it starts melting into a black substance which quickly evaporates afterwards.
Endnote: Incredible, when it comes to normal multi plague infection even by anomalous plagues, the two normally end up destroying the body in a biological fight for dominance. But instead, it seems SCP-AAL was somehow able to fuse the two together. Though the results were quite destructive to stay the least, it still holds promise in the long run. More data is required.
***
Test 8.2 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-217 and SCP-016
Set Up: A single D Class is sedated and injected with SCP-016 before being brought into the testing chamber. On the table is a plate with a single pill of SCP-AAL and a glass of water filled with SCP-217. No security is included.
Result: After the D Class takes the pills, nothing happens for an hour until suddenly her skin becomes red. The D Class gets up and screams not in pain but in fear of not knowing what is happening. Suddenly her skin dries up and falls off to show a new layer of skin composed entirely of flexible and shining steel. The researchers are shocked, but Dr. Bones uses the intercom to tell the D Class to remain calm as they are sending in security and a researcher to check on her. Researcher Millwell volunteers and goes in with four security units guarding him. They check on the D Class and find that not only is her skin slightly magnetic in nature, but it also contains traces of biological elements of the body.
Researcher Millwell accidently hurts the D Class aggravating her and making her attack. She punches Researcher Millwell across the room and as the Security units shoot at her she starts killing them one by one. Each of the security units are armed with AP rounds allowing them to pierce her flesh but she keeps tearing through them as her fingers have shifted into claws. Once she kills them all she suddenly sheds her steel skin almost as if intentional and grows new thicker armor made of a strange black steel like bone material. She then goes over to Researcher Millwell as he fires his pistol at her and rips him in two. Finally, the D Class tries to infiltrate the researcher's room, but Dr. Zeek floods the room with necrosis venom gas. Surprisingly as her body dissolves it tries to grow new layers of armor and limbs to combat the rotting but eventually, she dissolves into nothing.
Endnote: That couldn't have gone worse, the results are promising but the ends don't always justify the means. Still though we can't stop yet, I can only hope the progress we are making and will continue to make will be all worth it in the end. On a side note, it was surprising to see the D Class seem to have some control over the disease. Perhaps this particular combo should be kept in mind later.
***
Test 8.3 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-217 and SCP-610
Set Up: A single D Class is introduced into the testing chamber, on the table is a single pill of SCP-AAL. After taking the pill two AFA-1's within the testing chamber are to wait 1 hour before forcefully injecting the D Class with a vial of SCP-217 and SCP-610. Both AFA-1's are to be in charge of their own separate vial.
Result: After the injection the D Class shows obvious distress and anger at the sudden attack. Dr. Zeek ensures the D Class it's all part of the test which only barely calms the D Class. After an additional hour The D Class suddenly dies as blood leaks out of his eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. Dr. Susan Love takes notice that as the blood drops on the ground, small and strange metal like formations are seen growing from it.
After an additional hour the body starts falling apart revealing the insides of the body to be filled with strange machinery composed of metal and bones. Such pieces and mechanisms include gears made of teeth and held together with mouth gums, plates and levers with visible pulsating veins inside of them, and certain pulleys and springs made of muscle or bone. As blood and flesh fall off it starts growing seemingly random geometric shapes made of steel, bone, and flesh.
After an additional hour the body has been destroyed entirely and replaced with the clockwork mechanisms of flesh and metal. surrounding it are the geometric shapes made of steel, bone, and flesh continuing to grow as if they are plants. on the ground it can be seen that veins are spreading out allowing new geometric shapes to grow out of them.
Dr Zeek declares the test over and floods the room with necrosis venom. To everyone's surprise the necrosis venom doesn't work. Mobile Task Force Beta-7 "Maz Hatters" is sent in to assess the situation. After about 7 hours, they and the research team finally find a way to get rid of the substance but not before collecting samples. The decision to declare this new anomalous substance as a new anomaly is pending.
Endnote: Interesting, very interesting. Though unfortunately we might have just created a new and extremely chaotic SCP. Still, this shows that SCP-AAL's mutagenetic and seemingly chimeric properties are much more powerful that we realized. Much more studying is required.
***
Test 9 - what happens you feed SCP-AAK with SCP-AAL
Set Up: The table and chair were removed from the testing chamber. Instead, a single bowl was placed filled with pills of SCP-AAL. Afterwards a single AFA-1 holding a metal box of 20 hungry SCP-AAK instances. The box would open remotely as soon as the AFA-1 left the testing chamber.
Result: After the box opened the SCP-AAK instances scattered around the room searching for food. One of the SCP-AAK instances started sniffing on the SCP-AAL and a minute later started eating it. Other SCP-AAK instances start eating SCP-AAL and not long after start scattering away to look for something more nutritious to eat. After about 30 minutes the first SCP-AAK instance eating SCP-AAL suddenly freezes up. Suddenly parts of its head start growing in size preventing the SPC-AAK instance from crawling around properly. One started falling apart showing its insides were being flooded by a yellow puss. Another grew abnormally thick legs preventing it from moving at all. Surprisingly one had its head fall off to show the eyeball of a pig growing out in its place killing it instantly. The SCP-AAK instances that didn't eat the SCP-AAL, quickly started eating the mutated SCP-AAK instances viciously.
Afterwards those that ate the SCP-AAL victims went to the bowl to eat the rest of the SCP-AAK. Suddenly the 7 remaining SCP-AAK instances started growing slowly. Unlike the previous instances that ate SCP-AAL, they didn't suffer any mutations like the previous instances. After an hour had passed, they grew form 3 CM to 25 CM and continued to grow. Fearing growth would get out of control Dr. Zeek ordered the room be sprinkled with Necrosis venom killing all of the slowly mutating SCP-AAK instances quickly.
Endnote: That was surprising to see, is it possible that the adaptability of SCP-AAK is close to SCP-682.What I mean is that SCP-AAK can adapt to danger through several generations while SCP-682 can adapt to danger through several minutes. Considering the growth rate of SCP-AAK, they might not be so different in power than we realized, more studying is required.
***
Test 10 - what happens you feed SCP-AAN with SCP-AAL
Set Up: A captured SCP-AAN instance is sedated and placed into the testing chamber. Once inside it is injected with a liquid form of SCP-AAL.
Result: After the SCP-AAN instance wakes up and wanders around the testing chamber, nothing happens for an hour. Suddenly the SCP-AAN begins to twitch around as if agitated by something. Soon the SCP-AAN gets on the ground and seemingly screams in pain and fear as if there is something there hurting it. It thrashes its front pincers forward mostly just cutting bits of itself and its own limbs. Suddenly it gets up and continues to scream as bits of its face start falling off until it finally dies. Its body continues to fall apart as time goes on.
Endnote: Well, that was surprising... disappointing. Even the dissection afterwards didn't show anything new. Just the SCP-AAL typically overloads the cells and causes the body to fall apart into a bloated mess as a result. I guess we should have expected that.
***
Test 11 - what happens you feed SCP-AAT with SCP-AAL
Set Up: Three SCP-AAT instances were transported to the testing room after being sedated. One was injected with SCP-AAL.
Result: Upon waking up the SCP-AAT instances wandered the room for an hour with nothing happening. After the infected SCP-AAT instance started shaking and touching his stomach, he quickly told the other two that something was wrong in his native language. One of the SCP-AAT tries to go over to help while the other stays back being cautious. Suddenly the infected SCP-AAT's mouth opens so wide it cracks his skull open killing him instantly. Several vicious tentacles latch out and stab into the second SCP-AAT instance seemingly injecting him with this disgusting yellow puss. The second SCP-AAT instance begs for help while the third instance tries to find a way to escape. Eventually the second SCP-AAT instance dies as its body is filled with the yellow puss meanwhile the first instance's body deflates from being completely hollowed out.
The Second SCP-AAT instance's body exploded not long after leaving the third one even more distressed as it tried to find a way out. Dr. Zeek declared the test over and had the room flooded with necrosis venom gas.
Endnote: Hm, interesting I guess but similar results happened with people infected with SCP-AAL. Perhaps it just affects all living beings as spontaneously as it does humans.
***
Test 12 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-AAY
Set Up: A single D Class is sedated and sent to the testing Chambers, afterwards he is infected with both SCP-AAL and SCP-AAY.
Result: Before the Security units could leave the chamber, the D Class woke up and started having a spontaneous seizure. The D Class then gets with his muscles and veins visibly throbbing and himself clearly dead and now a SCP-AAY-1 instance. The doors to the testing chambers close as per protocol leaving the two security units alone with the D Class.
One of the Security units pulled out their pistol and shot at the D Class only for him to dodge with extreme precision and flexibility. It then charged at the Security unit that got out his shock baton to defend himself. Surprisingly rather than trying to bite the security, it tries to punch him though it hits the baton instead breaking it but getting electrocuted in the process. The two security guards back off as the D Class falls on the ground thrashing around because of the shock. The second security unit shots at the D Class several times before hitting the head. The D Class gets up regardless but starts twitching and struggling to stay still. Eventually the throbbing muscles and veins start bloating.
Dr. Zeek quickly opens the door and tells the two security units to get out before the D Class explodes. The two security units run out and Dr. Zeel closes the door just in time as the D Class explodes. After the test is declared over, AFA-1's was sent into the room and collected samples of the puss and flesh left over while sterilizing everything else.
End result: Interesting, the T Virus is much more durable than I realized. I know the zombie exploded in the end but still the results were dangerous to say the least. Not only was the infection much faster than all past tests but it nearly killed two security units. It seems that SCP-AAL is not the only pathogen that can easily fuse with other pathogens... Group of Interest: Umbrella Corperation was much more dangerous than we realized.

Test 13 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-ABE
Set Up: A single D Class was sedated and escorted to the Testing chamber by two AFA-2 units armed with Foundation assault rifles. Upon arriving she was injected with SCP-AAL and SCP-ABE. The testing chambers closed, and the two AFA-2 units backed off to stand guard.
Result: Nothing happened for 2 hours. Then the D Class complained of bad headaches and possible hallucinations only to stop and suddenly report she was fine a minute later. She gets up and suddenly complains of having a bad stomach ache but again after a minute she suddenly appeared fine. Suddenly she claims to have an adrenaline rush and starts using the free space to exercise. She continues to exercise for 3 hours. Every so often she complains of having sore muscles or having broken bones but then after a minute she is fine and continues.
Dr. Bones eventually gets annoyed and demands the AFA-2's kill her despite Dr. Zeek's protest. The AFA-2's complies and seemingly kills the D Class by shooting her. However, her wounds miraculously heal to everyone's shock. The D Class is shocked as well though her confusion quickly turns into rage. Suddenly she shoots her hand out and it stretches into a blade like a spear stabbing the AFA-2. Dr. Zeek then orders them to fire again, this time aiming for the head.
The D Class anticipates this and uses her other arm to stretch out into a whip and slap the other AFA-2 unit to the wall, badly damaging it. The stabbed AFA-2 raised its rifle and started shooting at the D Classes head. The D Class screams monstrously as it lets go of the AFA-2. Under Dr. Zeek's orders three more AFA-2's enter the room this time with N Rounds to help combat the regenerative abilities.
However, the D Class's head does not heal properly and instead forms into a bunch of different heads fused and splitting from each other. Dr. Zeek gives the order and the AFA-2's open fire leading to her disintegrating within 30 seconds.
Endnote: Very interesting results, SCP-AAL overloads the cells and makes the body fall apart or mutates the bacteria within to devour it from the inside out. Meanwhile, SCP-ABE overloads the cells and causes them to multiply without limits, resulting in a giant monster constantly adapting to all forms of damage it comes across. Yet together, they cause the host to recover from almost any wound. Sure, there are side effects such as occasional pain and broken bones, but the host recovers from it all rather quickly. I'll be sure to keep this in mind.

Test 16 - what happens when SCP-AAL is mixed with SCP-AXA
Set Up: A series of tests will be conducted with SCP-AXA-1, SCP-AXA-2, SCP-AXA-3, and SCP-AXA-4. In each one a cultivated instance by the Foundation is to be sedated, sent to the Testing Chamber and injected with SCP-AAL to see what happens.
Result: [data expunged by order of the O5 Council]
Endnote: ... I think it's safe to say that testing with SCP-AAL is officially over. God, everybody was right, I really came up with some pretty stupid ideas.

CCCC SCP AU MASTER POST
AKA I put Whole in the electric chair and everybody loved it
and renamed him Simon.
DISCLAIMER: This AU handles imaginary medical malpractice and imagery of outdated and misuse of execution and medical equipment and procedures. Real medical practice should not be demonized and feared. Also this does not follow any actual SCP Lore, it is only simply used as a base/jumping off point for my evil science fiction experiments.
SCP-3775
Item #: SCP-3775
Object Class: Euclid
Status: Contained Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3775 does not require any specific or strict containment procedures. If SCP-3775 begins to show any signs of distress or erratic behavior, SCP-3775 is to be moved to a 5m x 5m room while awaiting medical examination.
N/A See Addendum 3775-008, 3775-013, and 3775-019
SCP-3775 is to be contained within three conjoined 5m x 5m rooms. It is to be kept alive whether in state 3775-A or 3775-B. In state 3775-A SCP-3775 is to be monitored at all times to determine mental stability. SCP-3775 is to be kept physically restrained to a specially built wooden chair and electrocuted through electrodes fastened on the head through a screwed metal halo.
In state 3775-B three separate instances of SCP-3775 must be monitored.
Addendum 3775-008: SCP-3775-008 is to be kept alive with minimal monitoring but must be kept in the room furthest from SCP-3775-013. Failure to comply with containment procedures of SCP-3775-008 will result in potential harm to SCP-3775-013.
Addendum 3775-013: SCP-3775-013 is to be kept alive with moderate monitoring. SCP-3775-013 is permitted to interact within the same room as SCP-3775-019 under personnel supervision.
Addendum 3776-019: SCP-3775-019 is to be kept alive with strict and constant monitoring. Personnel assigned to SCP-3775-019 are instructed to wear protective noise cancelling headphones when interacting with SCP-3775-019. Personnel are instructed to not listen to any vocalizations from SCP-3775-019 under any circumstances. Other means of communication are permitted.
Description: In state 3775-A SCP-3775 appears to be an average white human male in his early twenties with curly black hair and brown eyes. Subject has been measured at 178 cm in height. Subject was born 20?? on ??????? ??th. Subject has no known living relatives at this time.
In state 3775-B, three instances of SCP-3775 exist.
SCP-3775-008 appears similar to SCP-3775 with exceptions such as missing eyes, replaced by hollow sockets which allow abnormal purple veins and bone structures to be exposed. Subject’s hair seems to become dyed purple towards the ends. Subject has irremovable purple coloration on its lips as well.
SCP-3775-013 appears similar to SCP-3775 with exceptions such as a total of five eyes that faintly glow a light blue color. Subject also features a luminescent organ similar to that of an esca as seen on the body of an Anglerfish. Subject’s hair seems to become dyed blue towards the ends. Subject has irremovable blue coloration on its lips as well.
SCP-3775-019 appears similar to SCP-3775 with exceptions such as what appears to be scar tissue along the right half of its body with epidermal red dots clustered around joints and around the eyes. Subject’s right eye is abnormal with a grey sclera and white iris and pupil. Subject’s left sclera is white with a red iris and black pupil. Subject’s hair seems to become dyed red towards the ends. Subject has irremovable red coloration on its lips as well.
Subject’s vocalizations sounds similar to that of an autotuned version of SCP-3775’s. It is hypnotic and [REDACTED]. Like one would imagine an [REDACTED] to sound like. It is impossible to resist to do as he commands.
SCP-3775-019 has been modified to have a welded metal muzzle to its face to prevent auditory vocal noise from coming from the subject.
History and Past Proceedings: The Foundation became aware of SCP-3775 due to widespread video circulation of music the subject created. Audience and viewers became enraptured with the music and upon listening were unable to function properly without the music playing in a conscious audio range.
Once obtained and studied, it appears no process in which SCP-3775 creates music is abnormal to that of any other modern musician.
After a prolonged period of time spent at the SCP Facility, SCP-3775 began to become distressed and showed signs of mental health decline, similar to that of severe clinical depression. Once the subject had hit a peak in its mental instability, it began to physically split into three instances of itself. This state shall be referred to as State 3775-B, the prior singular instance of SCP-3775 will be referred to as State 3775-A.

Eveline, the Connections, and the buried D-series lore
A surprising number of unused text files can be found by datamining the RE7 game file (I found next to nothing in RE8, for comparison). Many look to come from an earlier version of Mia's sequence on the tanker, which I may get to posting about those later ‒ but by far the most fascinating are a series of three files about the the E-series project, adding names and a whole tragic backstory to a couple of humble key items that are still in the game: the D-series arm and head.
These three documents were presumably earlier drafts of those you can still find in the final lab, though they contain a number of details missing from the final game. I'll share all three below, but we'll start with the second, because it's by far the most interesting.
Biological Weapons Development 2 We've decided that the biological weapon should look like a young girl. That way it will be easy to slip it into groups of, for example, refugees. In early ■■■■, 1999, Dr. Olivia ■■■'s team infected a human embryo with ■■ from ■■■■, creating four prototypes. These were named, Dana, Dahlia, Darlene, and Dorothy. The D-Series was able to control the thoughts of others by making them ingest a mold-like secretion. The initial symptoms caused by this secretion are visual and auditory hallucinations, and ■■■■. The secretion also erodes the target's cerebral ■■■. As the infection progresses, the target develops strong feelings of friendship towards the girls, and actively seeks to serve them. It is also possible for the secretion to fuse with the target's somatic cells, causing mutations in the body's physical structure. D-001 Dana Deceased (■■■■) D-002 Dahlia Deceased (Decrepit at 319 days) D-003 Darlene Deceased (Infection) D-004 Dorothy Disposed of due to poor performance D-005 Dolores Suicide D-006 Diana Killed by D-005 D-007 Daniella Killed by D-005 D-008 Doris Deceased (■■■■■■) E-001 Eveline Stable [Progress under observation]
(Excuse the slightly-wonky table at the bottom ‒ it's the best I could easily do for tumblr.)
There's a real SCP vibe to all those clinical details and tantalising redactions ‒ far more is redacted in these early versions than in any file that made it into the game. What really killed Dana and Doris? We don't know, but the idea of causes worse than what's reported for other subjects is nasty stuff.
The most striking implication in this list is the story of poor Dolores, who killed two of her sisters (Dolores and Diana, D-006 and 7) before killing herself. We don't know why or how it happened, but Dolores was D-005, which is a number you might have seen before:
Well, shit. That poor damn thing.
The D-series arm belonged D-002 ‒ Dahlia, who was apparently 'decrepit after 319 days', so very likely affected by the same rapid aging as Eveline.
You find the arm attached to a horrifying corpse-doll-thing, the arm itself allegedly gifted to Marguerite by Eveline soon after her arrival. And speaking of this particular asset, the fact this arm seems to have tried to grow a whole new head even after being severed is a wonderfully creepy bit of detail.
I didn't find it strange that both components would have been on the ship with Eveline ‒ they're required components for making anti-infection serum, which might well be needed in transit or at their destination, and perhaps those components have a longer shelf-life than the serum itself. But the third document in the series tells us there was rather more to the fact that Eveline herself had that arm in her possession.
Biological Weapons Development 3 Eveline (E-001) has displayed remarkable results in performance tests against mice, ■■■■, monkeys, and humans. Finally, we have a biological weapon we can use. Unfortunately, her metabolic functions are lacking, meaning she still requires doses of ■■■■■. If ■■■■■ is not administered, the somatic cells age rapidly, and in a worst-case scenario ■■■■ may also occur. An attendant will be required to administer regular doses of ■■■■■ to Eveline. Having observed Eveline (E-001), we have noticed several interesting points: ・ Eveline has a tendency to regard the targets she gains control of as "family." It seems that gaining control of humans has a special meaning for her. ・ She treats part of ■■■■■■'s (D-0■■) corpse as a treasured possession. Perhaps she regards it as a memento mori from one of her sisters? ・ ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■. Perhaps ■■■■■■■■■■. Those infected with D-Series secretions can be treated with a special serum. The serum can be synthesized by ■■■■■■■■ing D-Series somatic cell tissue. In case of accidental infection, administer the serum as quickly as possible. Be aware, however, that the serum is only effective against mild infections. Administering the serum to those with severe infections can result in the infected cells coagulating and ■■■■, and may even result in death. Be sure to administer the serum at the appropriate time.
So apparently Eveline was in the habit of carting poor Dahlia's severed arm around with her, as some kind of twisted memento. Dahlia most likely died long before Eveline's creation, which does not make that detail less creepy.
Though it's much less interesting than the latter two, here's the first file in the series too:
Biological Weapons Development 1 This program started in 1997 with financial backing from ■ ■ ■ ■. The aim was to create a biological weapon that could take control of enemy groups without having to engage them in combat. This gives the program an advantage that differentiates it from previous biological weapon developments: it lets us turn our enemies into allies. Soon, those who once opposed us will voluntarily become our friends, serving us as required. With this program we can increase our allies while avoiding the costs associated with military engagements and having to deal with prisoners of war… The governments of ■ ■ ■ ■ and ■ ■ ■ may also be interested in this new program too.
Still no detail in any of these to explain why the two arms so very clearly attached to the D-series ""head"" were apparently not fit for purpose, but eventually you've got to just shrug and go with this stuff.
All these files are not so much "cut" content as older drafts that were accidentally left in the game, and they contradict the versions that did make it in in a few places ‒ for example, the draft version puts the project's beginnings in 1997, whereas the final version moves that date forward to 2000. But it's a real shame all that detail on the D-series was cut, because it adds so much context to elements that did make it into the finished game. The game still works without them, but I'd venture the whole picture is that little bit richer for knowing about them.

Disso008 | Dissozomskip // Dissosease subterm related to thinking one is infected with SCP-008 aka the "Zombie Plague", which makes the person, whether it be because of delusional or IRL attachments, being an alter whose health differs from the body, psychosis, etc., feel disconnected from their external health. This is not for "fun" or voluntary "I wanna be this", this also doesn't override the external health of the person.
This identity does not support for "transitioning" tips/subliminals/advice/etc in cases where it's harmful, furthers misinformation, or appropriative. I don't support the fetishization, romanticization, misinformation, etc. of mental illnesses, disabilities, professions, or experiences.

Where's My Anomaly? An SCP Short Bedtime Tale
I got bored of reading "Where's My Cow?" to Evie, so I improvised. Apologies to Sir Terry Pratchett in advance. I had to. I'm so, so sorry. Here's the tale... and cue the bedtime silliness!
Researcher Jonas is wandering through the site, looking for his anomaly. Will he find it? I hope so, some of these things are scary. He makes his way down the hall, in the dark. Hunt the Anomaly is not as fun during a power outage.
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "AAAAGGH! GET IT OFF ME! BAD LIZARD!" It is a 682! That's not my anomaly. Where's my anomaly?"
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "Urrrg." It is a 008! That's not my anomaly. Where's my anomaly?"
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "Clank clang clank, reeeee!" It is a 914! That's not my anomaly! Where's my anomaly?"
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "Swish, swish, stab... Aaaagh!" It is a 076-2! That's not my anomaly! Where's my anomaly?"
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "My cure is most effective." It is a 049! That's not my anomaly. Where's my anomaly?"
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "Whirr, whirr, pour." It is a 294! That's not my anomaly. Where's my anomaly?"
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "Strrrummm, strrrrummm, strrrrummmmm... dear 343 just finish the song already!" It is a Dr. Clef! That's not my anomaly. Where's my anomaly?"
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "Grump, grump, freeze!" It is a Dr. Iceberg! That's not my anomaly. Where's my anomaly?
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "Not again! Not the apple seeds!" It is a Dr. King! That's not my anomaly. Where's my anomaly?"
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "Your reports are overdue again." It is a Dr. Gears! That's not my anomaly. Where's my anomaly?"
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "Would you like a hug, maybe a cookie?" It is a Dr. Glass! That's not my anomaly. Where's my anomaly?"
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "Request the explodium, it'll be a blast." It is a Dr. Myriad. That's not my anomaly. Where's my anomaly?"
"Where's my anomaly? Is that my anomaly? It goes "Squish, tickle, giggle!" That IS my anomaly! Hurray, hurray, it's a wonderful day for I have found my anomaly at last."
At this point, the lights returned, and Researcher Jonas takes 999 for a healthy (for our favorite delightful little blobby buddy anyway) lunch of gummy worms, peanut butter cups, and a nice caffeine free orange soda. He was happy his friend was all right.

File: Plants vs Zombies
SCP: AJA
Code Name: Crazy Dave's All-Natural Zombie Defense
Object Class: Thaumiel
Special Containment Procedures: All samples of SCP-AJA are contained at Site-AE within the artificial farms of the lower floors. Certain SCP-AJA variants are to be prioritized over others depending on what is required regarding Nexus Points owned by the Foundation as well as our allies in the ACPA. Any testing regarding SCP-AJA variants must be approved by at least one Level 3 Clearance staff member or higher. Only Foundation staff that have been assigned and trained to handle SCP-AJA instances are to act as security advisors regarding any testing, transportation, or caretakers for SCP-AJA instances.
In the event of a containment breach, Foundation staff trapped in the artificial farms of Site-AE are to arm themselves with Foundation weaponry and hide among the SCP-AJA variants. The SCP-AJA instances have been trained to defend themselves against any threat that is not recognized as a civilian or SCP Foundation staff. Should the threat become too much for them to handle and they are in danger of being destroyed or stolen, Foundation staff are to use their secured weaponry to defend the SCP-AJA instances until help arrives. There will be new accommodations and rewards for Foundation staff that either successfully defend the SCP-AJA instances or survive long enough before reinforcements get there.
Description: SCP-AJA variants are an anomalous breed of plant life that is sentient and fully capable of defending itself. Oddly enough each one seems to have a pair of eyes and mouth regardless of what form they take. Furthermore, quite a number possess anomalous abilities that are either used to enhance one another or to attack any hostile threats they come across. For whatever reason this normally accounts to variants of undead with zombies being the main focus of their aggression. Why this is the case appears to be related to their discovery but much else beyond, including their exact origin, is unknown.
Each SCP-AJA variant appears to be a different type of plant, those typically grown in gardens just as sunflowers, peapods, Cherries, nuts, and lots more. Each one not only takes on a unique form but also a specific function that allows them to contribute to the garden as a whole. The SCP-AJA variants never harm one another and instead work together with a defensive army to fight off their targets and do so with great accuracy but often with terrifying power as well. Unfortunately, at least by Foundation standards, there are hundreds of different variants of SCP-AJA instances, and more are being discovered every day. Please see Addendum X-68 for details.
Granted SCP-AJA instances will never harm living organisms or at least ones that are not hostile to them first. However, though SCP-AJA instances are strong and often unpredictable, the fact that they can't move. Because they are still plants, they are unable to leave their area of plantation and thus should a hostile reach them death is inevitable. Shockingly undead zombies, even those created from SCP-008 recognize SCP-AJA as potential food and often rush towards the anomalous plants to eat them. Testing has shown that SCP-AJA variants have no biological difference to regular plants despite clearly having eyes and mouths so why this is the case or how it’s even possible is unknown.
SCP-AJA was discovered in 2009 when an isolated suburban area of [data expunged] was attacked by SCP-008 outbreak caused by Group of Interest: The Black Queens Insurgency. They released specifically the E strain, for those that don’t know this strain is volatile in that it allows zombies of SCP-008 to grow their population 2 to 3 times faster. When an SCP-008 zombie is infected with this strain not only can they infect humans through bites and scratches but the more meat they consume accumulates into biomass allowing them to clone themselves. Because of this the suburban area was quickly wiped out and the Foundation was forced to wall off the area and redirect all outside civilians elsewhere. The cover story is that a bad mold infection appeared in one of the houses and quickly spread through the neighborhood.
Mobile Task Force Beta-7 “Maz Hatters” was deployed into the quarantine area due to them having the most experience against SCP-008 and all its variants. However, most of the zombies ended up already being defeated due to survivors having their laws defended with SCP-AJA instances. The MTF Beta-7 units were rightfully confused by this but continued to follow their orders and wipe out the zombies. Only after the area was confirmed zombie free and all DNA samples were harvested as a precaution, did their attention turn to the SCP-AJA instances. Apparently, the survivors only managed to obtain the SCP-AJA instances thanks to Person of Interest: Crazy Dave.
Crazy Dave is a suspected member of Group of Interest: The League of Merchants. For those that don't know, the Leage of Merchants is an extremely mysterious group of individuals who always come to those in need and offer all the tools they could want, for a small fee of course. They are theorized to be dimensional hoppers or possess anomalous items to achieve this. Unfortunately, the Foundation lacks the information needed to confirm either.
Unfortunately, by the time MTF Beta-7 rounded up all of the survivors Crazy Dave was gone and left behind only his SCP-AJA instances. There was also graffiti showing the symbol of the Black Queen’s Insurgency, confirming their involvement in the event. All the instances were collected including their seeds, while the civilians were amnestied and released from the containment. Memetic treatment was used on them to help sell the cover story of the mold outbreak that wiped out the rest of the suburban area.
Due to their amazing growth rate and their ability to detect threats and attack them without hesitation. Foundation administrative staff agreed to have SCP-AJA be contained and grown at Site-AE. There, every variant in existent and newly discovered variants are to be grown on mass and deployed to Nexus Points and even different worlds in our solar system to act as defense against potential hostiles. Granted the Foundation is not foolish to be fully reliant on these SCP-AJA instances, but they provide great back up and detection of potential hostels. Furthermore, they also act as good decoration further bringing positivity throughout the Foundation in its much-needed times when facing the forces of chaos and evil.
