These are panels made for a Robert Louis Stevenson backpack. One of the challenges of this bag was to digitize the Ancient Scottish plaids. I truly enjoyed studying the history and design of the plaids. Dress Stewart Tartan, traditional Scottish plaid. The top fabric is the cashmere for the Star of Alaska coat and the bottom swatch is cotton flannel for the Gold Miners Daughter. The cotton flannel is arriving at the eleventh hour on Tuesday so I will be sewing fast to get the sample ready for Wednesday's pre-sales. It’s official Im finally going to Scotland, and I’m leaving Saturday baby! I feel like I’ve been training for this my whole life! I’ve accepted a position with Scottish Luxury Clothier @ScotlandShop and will be training in their Edinburgh Shop next week, followed up with a week in their HQ in Duns This is the second job to bring me overseas and I’m so grateful for the opportunity. Glitch #3, 4 & 5 💺 My seat on the way to London was broken and could not be leaned back. I was in the middle seat so was unable to lean to either side to get comfortable. Thankfully it was only 6 hours instead of 9! 😂 … 📺 My tv stopped working about 2 hours into the flight and restarted on its own hours later. I wish I could say that I slept instead of watching tv but the rude ass in front of me kept his light on the entire flight and it lit up the entire row in front of me… 💡 The airline had no record of my food allergies so I was unable to eat most of what they gave. Most likely due to the fact that they had to make a completely new reservation after mine had to be rebooked… 🌾 This is getting really cute… I’m now in London waiting for my connecting flight to Edinburgh!
