I’m rewatching teen wolf and i need a scott McCall x reader where reader knows Scott hasn’t had time to study because of being the alpha and having wolf problems aka another bad character problem and so she gives him the answers to the test (she’s rlllllyyyy smart) and whispers them knowing he can hear her and she’s like make sure u miss a couple due to them knowing the teacher will know something is off
Pls tag me if u write it or see something like it
(I did this i would let students cheat off of me and would be like make sure u miss a couple questions because u know you wouldn’t normally make a 100 on a test)(like miss as many as u would think she would believe without failing)

They Were There - Peter Hale
Peter x Fem!Reader
Warnings: none
Word count: 635
Summary: Derek and Cora know about Y/n and Peter because they were there when he proposed. Everyone else in the pack? Surprise.
Masterlist
Teen Wolf Masterlist
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
“Welcome to the family.” Derek smiled, hugging Y/n as she and Peter entered the loft having just got back from their honeymoon. Y/n and Derek had been friends since junior high but now she was his sister in law and Derek wasn’t disappointed. “Cora sends her congrats and welcome but she had to leave.”
“Its okay. I already talked to her.” Y/n smiled, waving it off, her and Cora had already talked a few days before. “Its great to finally be apart of the family.” Y/n groaned back at Peter along with Derek.
“Sorry I didn’t want to rush things.” Peter narrowed his eyes at the two.
“You have been in love with her since you were 14. I think you took your damn time.” Derek raised his brows looking at his uncle with an exaggerated look. Even if he was somewhat commatoused for a few years, his uncle still took his damn time.
“I’m just glad you did it to begin with.” Y/n let out a laugh, it was a long time coming.
“It's been a longtime coming.” Peter pulled Y/n, his wife, into his side and kissed her. He could be soft with her.
“There's a pack meeting tonight here at the loft.” Derek told them after their little moment, Y/n is good for his uncle. Doesn’t mean he wouldn’t kill him again to protect her, but she did make him a better person.
“I’ll be there.” Y/n told him.
“Will you?” Derek asked his uncle knowing how much he did not care for the pack.
“Since my wife will be there, yes. I gotta know what I’ll have to protect you from when their plans go wrong.” Peter stated sarcastically. Y/n and Derek just looked at eachother and rolled their eyes.
^ ^ ^
“Your back!” Scott said with a smile rushing over to hug Y/n once the pack entered the loft and saw she was there. They had all missed her.
“You’ve been gone so long.” Allsion said having missed her older friend. Y/n was older than the group of teens, she was the older sister figure of the pack.
“Where’d you go?” Stiles asked.
“Is that a ring on your finger?” Lydia points out having caught the shine of it catching the light.
“You got married?” Allison questioned in shock, having looked down to Y/n’s hand like everyone else after hearing Lydia.
“Yes.” Y/n nodded.
“Without us?” Scott gave her his sad puppy dog eyes.
“We plan on having a reception with all of you sometime in the near future.” Y/n smiled at them and she saw her words lesson their sadness.
“We? Who’s the dude?” Stiles raised a brow.
“Peter.”
“Peter as in Peter Hale?!” Scott’s eyes bulged out of his head.
“As in Derek’s uncle?” Allison was less shocked but more surprised.
“Yes, she's a Hale now.” Derek smirked proudly.
“I am.” She smiled.
“Peter Hale?” Stiles squinted his eyes, still not believing it.
“Is there something wrong with me?” Peter raised his eyebrows pretending to be innocent. He spoke up for the first time since the pack arrived from his spot on the couch.
“You're a psychopath for starters.” Stiles stated addressing the oldest Hale.
“He’s different with her. I’ll defend him on that. He has always been different when it comes to Y/n.” Derek spoke up.
Y/n walked over to Peter, sitting on the arm of the couch.
“That's because she’s different. She’s mine.” Peter growled the last part possessively.
“And you're mine.” Y/n smiled at him leaning over to kiss him.
“Oh he’s been yours since he laid eyes on you.” Derek teased and he got satisfaction when his uncle flashed his eyes at him but couldn’t deny his nephew's statement.

“I like you a lot”
Isaac lahey x fem!Reader
TW: Smut, oral (fem receiving), use of pet names, claws, nipple play
+16 read at your own risk. I’m not your mommy A/N: first smut to write + english isn’t my first lang word count: 2.5K
You were at school, leaning against your locker. smiling at and laughing with Stiles, until you caught Isaac glaring at you across the hall, visibly upset.
"alright Stiles I've got to go now, I'll see ya" you walked away after Stiles nodded and walked to Scott, and you made your way to Isaac.
"hey" you flashed him a smile and he blushed. How could he not? he thought you were the most beautiful thing ever.
The beta glanced over Stiles before turning back to you. "hey.." he spoke softly.
"Just tired... I uhh, I’ve got a lot on my mind lately" he said slowly and softly, not wanting to ruin this moment between you two.
You nodded slowly, feeling bad for him. "well you know, you can always talk to me" you said softly, reassuring him that he's got someone by his side.
You watched him closely as he looked at you quietly, and you didn't want to rush him to speak, you knew how sensitive Isaac is. It made him feel pathetic when he opened up to anyone or asked for help, that's what his dad has taught him. That a man is a man, boys don't cry, but Isaac knew you, he loved you, trusted you, and he knew your listen and get him anytime.
"I've just been going back.. thinking about my family" He looked down as his expression softened.
"oh" you whispered softly and placed your hand on the boy's back, rubbing it gently. "I know you've suffered from your dad your whole life, but his death Isn’t your fault".
Isaac flinched, but he didn't move away from you. Even though your gesture was tiny, it felt huge to him, It made him on top of the world. He let out a soft sigh and ran his fingers through his hair. "I know... I just-" he paused, unsure if he can keep going or not, but he really counted on you, so he kept going. "I didn't even cry at the funeral and everyone thinks I don't care, that I was wishing the whole time i'd get rid of him, and the problem is.. it's true. I was relieved that he's dead"
"Honey listen to me" you took a step closer, placing both your hands on his shoulder. "your dad used to lock you in a freezer. that night.. that night he hurt you and you ran like any other night, because you didn't know what he would die" you then place your hand on isaac's cheek, caressing it softly "you were just scared, you did nothing wrong"
Isaac paused for a moment and leaned into your touched as he shivered. The relief he felt when his father died was a burden to him, but he knew you were saying the truth so he bit his lip thoughtfully. He wanted to say that your hand felt to right on his skin, but he didn't and rubbed his face with his hand then looked at you hesitantly as he spoke. "I- Iwas scared" his voice trembled as he stammered softly, making you unsure if he meant you to hear him. he slowly smiled at you softly and leaned into your touch again, causing his breath to hitch.
you sighed softly as you try to build up some courage and confidence to ask him to go out with you, but you were too scared that he'd turn you down so you just looked quietly at the ground until you heard a familiar 5 taps on the locker next to you and looked to the direction to see lydia. She must have noticed your flustered face because she tilted her head at Isaac and winked at you. You two have been talking about it and she was eager for you to confess to him, and apparently she was so sure Isaac wouldn't let you down for a reason she wouldn't tell.
you snapped out of my trance as Isaac cleared his throat and looked at the same direction you were just looking at, except there was nobody there.
"sorry about that. I was just wondering if you would want to go home with me? I mean-" You paused and took a deep breath. "why don't you come over and we can just.. relax?" you asked nervously as he just looked at you quietly. "Scott's sneaking out with Allison again and our mom won't be home until ten.. so I was thinking if you'd want to just come over instead of staying alone or with Derek, he could be lame sometimes" I chuckle nervously and put on a fake confident grin.
Isaac stayed quiet for a moment or two, taking in your words, and he thought there was no way he could turn that down, the thought of you and him alone in the house with no distractions. He knew he wanted it but he wasn't sure if you did. if you were just doing him a favour because you felt bad, but he decided to push his paranoia to the side and smiled at you softly with a blush on his cheek, nodding. "I'd like that, if you're okay with it"
"ahh perfect! we are gonna have so much fun! we can watch the notebook too if you want to, or maybe cook or play or just" you pause for a second or two, not wanting to creep Isaac out with your sudden excitement. "we could just.. chill you know?" You looked up at him with a smile.
The two of you walked to your house, as Stiles has already left with his jeep, and while you were walking you felt Isaac's hand brush against yours until he took it in, intertwining your fingers together. you could feel how his hand shakes softly and you knew his stomach was probably flipping, he was a nervous wreck.
You held his hand confidently the way home until you reached it and opened the front door for the two of you. After walking in, you turned to Isaac and smiles. "do you wanna stay in the living room, or go to my room? or we can even cook something!" you asked excitedly.
"Your room...?" He asked hesitantly. Your room was usually off limits, that's where you go to relax on your own, away from the pack. He couldn't deny how much he wanted to be there with you. But part of him knows it won't end at just being in your room. Not that he had a problem but that he was worried from Scott's reaction if he knew Isaac was in his sister's room alone in the house. Scott and Isaac were best friends and Isaac didn't want to risk it, but he still loved you.
you saw the look on isaac's face as he started to look overwhelmed, and more anxious than he was, so you decided to cool it down. "I mean it's okay but if you don't want to that's fine. we can sit in the living room" you shrugged, leaving the decision for him to make as you looked at his eyes.
Isaac nodded slowly, looking at your lips then your eyes. "your room" he said softly and carelessly. He wanted to be with you alone. he didn't care what scott would think, he didn't care what the whole pack would think, he only cared about you and being with you, he wanted you.
you smiled and tilted your head for him to follow you. you walked past Scott's room until you reached your room then you walked to the bed, After taking off your shoes, sitting on the bed, then patting on the space next to you for Isaac to sit on.
Isaac followed you to your room, closing his door behind him. His heart skipped a beat when you asked him to sit next to you and the only thing he could think of is how nervous he is. he looked at you and he thought you look so vulnerable, sitting alone waiting for him to join you, so he took a few steps, trying to regulate his breath before sitting next to you. He was so close and nervous, slowly turning his neck to look at you.
"so.. what would you like to do?" you asked softly, trying to make sure he's not uncomfortable.
Isaac looked at you and for the first time he has walked in the room, he didn't know what to say. A part of him wanted to kiss you and see what happened but he didn't want to make you pressured, and he didn't want to risk kissing Scott's sister, he was the leader of the pack, so he let the silence between you linger before he decided to break the ice.
"can I be honest with you?" he stressed.
"of course, I won't judge" i nodded in reassurance
Isaac struggles to speak so he leans closer to you. He just wants you to understand him, he needs you to know how he feels, what he's been thinking of, but it's hard for someone like him, someone whom emotions always were rejected. He took a deep breath and leaned closer as his eyes fluttered between your lips and eyes then he opened his mouth to speak but he failed so he looked one more time at you before smashing his lips on yours as he moved one hand on the back of your neck as the other ran over your back to your hips, pulling your whole body into his lap while you froze in shock before pulling him closer, cupping his cheeks while you kissed him back with the same amounts of passion.
After a few moments he pulls away, and looks at you in shock, he had expected everything other than you kissing him back.
"I'm sorry. I probably shouldn't have kissed you and if scott finds out he's gonna kill me and-" you cut him off pulling him in another kiss, slowly pushing him to lay down as you move on top of him.
"Scott doesn't have to know" you whispered pulling him in a deeper kiss that made him forget everything.
he was in a daze as he pulled away from you. "you look so beautiful when you kiss me like that" he said softly with a soft smirk that caused you to blush.
He smiled softly as he gently ran his fingers thorough your hair. "you're so beautiful you know? it's just so hard to focus on anything else when we are like that, when you're with me. We can take this as slow as you want"
you pulled him for a kiss in response, breaking it as you smiling against lips, and he moaned softly, slipping his hands under your shirt, caressing your soft skin.
"i want this. you. Right here, right now, But I also don't want to hurt you so tell me what you want, darling." he whisper in your ear as his breath hit your neck, causing you to shiver.
"i want you, please" you whined and pulled him into another kiss as your tongue begged for entrance in his mouth. he let out a soft involuntary moan, as his caresses on your back got faster. His tongue danced with your and he began to grind on you, making you feel the hard bulge in his jeans that rubbed your throbbing pussy, until you pulled away from the kiss breathlessly, pushing him up by his chest, reaching to his shirt, playing with a soft fabric slowly. He sat up on his knees in front of you between your legs, taking off his shirt. You looked up at him, slowly placing the balm of your hand on his chest, tracing your finger over it to his stomach. He let out a low groan while he watched you trace your fingers over his chest, his muscles tensed under your touch.
"you're killing me honey" He whispered, moving closer to you as he kissed your neck slowly, then he sat up again as his hands found their way between your legs. Should undo your bra, or maybe start with these pants?" he teased, and sprung his claws out, moving them swiftly above you, tearing off your clothes.
"i loved that set" you pouted and he smirked
"i'll get you new ones" he pulled your clothes off your body, tossing them away on the floor with his shirt.
He smirked when he saw the blush on your face when you looked away, leaning down to your neck. "don't be shy baby" he whispered, before tracing kissed down your collarbone.
you moaned softly, moving your hands to caress his back softly and he let out a sigh against your skin. His hands found your thighs as he rubbed them slowly, kissing lower and lower. His kisses and nibbles reached your chest, taking a nipple in his mouth, swirling and sucking around it while he groped the other one with his hand, pinching the other nipple between his thumb and forefinger teasingly.
"I love you, so much" He showered your stomach with smooches and pecks, until his mouth found your slit, running his tongue through your wetness, humming in satisfaction. "so wet baby" he flicked your clit with his tongue as you struggled to answer him back, running your fingers through his hair as you pulled them gently. He took one of his hand, wrapping it around my waist to keep me down while he slid a finger in you with the other, slowly and gently, causing you to moan softly.
he sucked your clit harder making you pull his hair tightly, causing him to moan which vibrates against your pussy as his fingers go faster, feeling you clench around them, sucking them in. "Fuck Isaac" you whined. "i'm so close" you whispered, wondering if he even heard you, then he confirmed as he added a finger in, moving his fingers in a scissoring motion, stretching you out as you pull his hair tighter. "Isaac!" you warned, and he understood as you reached your climax, coating his fingers with your cum while he kept his gaze on you then he pulled them out, lapping at your pussy hungrily, taking in your juices.
"you're so sweet baby" he moved up to kiss you as you taste your own arousal. He pulled away from the kiss and you bit your lip, panting for air and you moved your hand to his head, pulling him back down to kiss you, you couldn't get enough of him.

Ours | Derek Hale Oneshot
Word Count: 3.5K Requested by @gracelynn318: "Derek or Stiles finding out that their significant other (the reader) is pregnant and they try to keep it secret for as long as possible" Warnings: pregnancy, pregnancy symptoms (vomiting, nausea, fatigue)
Summary: Derek Hale and (Y/N) have been together for a long time, and they didn't know something was missing from their lives until it arrived unexpectedly. And all they want to do is revel in the moment for as long as they can, by themselves.
A/N: this story follows 0% of canon, just the character's names. will admit. I am a horrible Teen Wolf fan that has yet to see season 5 and 6, and I've also yet to watch the movie. So, definitely an AU 😬also, be on the lookout for tonight or tomorrow for another surprise regarding this request 😉😉
Derek had noticed the change long before (Y/N) had. Long before she knew why she spent her days expelling her meals down the toilet drain, before she understood why her body craved more food than she could keep down, before she had even noticed that a month had passed and her period had not arrived.
It came late at night. The soft putter of a heartbeat that felt so far that it could have been confused with the sound of rain against the pavement. They had been lying in bed, the exhaustion of living in Beacon Hills the only thing they needed to crash at night. But the sound had been bothering Derek. The continuous rhythm didn’t allow the wolf to lose himself in much-needed slumber. The sound kept him up, especially from where it was coming from.
“(Y/N),” he whispered, running his hand up and down her arm to wake her. “(Y/N), baby, wake up.”
“Mm,” she groaned groggily, cuddling to his body tightly. “Go to sleep, Derek.”
“(Y/N), I gotta ask you something. Wake up.”
“We can talk in the morning,” she whined. “I’m tired right now.”
“It’s important,” he chuckled softly. “I need your complete focus.”
With a loud exhale, (Y/N) sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. The sheet fell from her torso, and the coldness of the night made her skin erupt in goosebumps. She rarely got angry with Derek, but she was coming quite close at that very moment. “You better have a good reason to wake me, Der,” she said. “I’m so tired I might just put off killing you until tomorrow.”
“Listen, please,” he said. “When was the last time you got your period?”
“What?” the girl questioned. “You seriously just woke me up to ask about my cycle?”
“More or less. Just answer. Did you get it last month?”
It took her a moment to think. The grogginess of being woken up still clutched her mind, and recounting the past weeks was hard. But her body startled awake as she realized she had not gotten her shark week in a month and a half. That fact alone did not scare her. She had always been irregular, and in moments of stress, it was more likely than not that she skipped a cycle. The problem was that not only had she missed a period, she had been feeling sick for the past three weeks. And the math was not too hard to do.
“I-I didn’t,” she stammered. “W-why are you asking?”
“Oh my god,” he answered. “Oh my god!”
“What? What’s wrong?”
Instead of answering, Derek pressed his ear to her stomach until he could hear the sound clearly. Alongside (Y/N)’s quickening heartbeat, a quieter, steady pattern joined. It was too indistinguishable now. “You’re pregnant,” he said. So quiet he wasn’t sure if he had said it at all. “There’s a baby in there. Our baby.”
“Pregnant…” (Y/N) could not believe the word even as it rolled out of her tongue. “I can’t believe it.”
“We’ll go to Deaton tomorrow, but I’m certain. I can hear their heart beating in there.”
(Y/N)’s mind was reeling. Pregnant, she thought to herself. The word felt foreign. So did her body. Derek had noticed the change before her. How could she not have known that a life was growing inside her? How could she ever be a mother when she did not even know herself?
Without realizing it, tears fell down her cheeks. She felt weak and panicked. The strong woman that had faced the biggest dangers and far scarier monsters trembled with the thought of a life depending on her for survival. It was one thing to volunteer to protect the members of the pack. They were old enough to fend for themselves. It was another to be responsible for the life and survival of another human.
“Hey,” Derek called. His voice sounded like it was underwater. So far away that she could barely hear it. “Baby, what’s going on?”
She hadn’t noticed that she had stood from the bed and was pacing around their room. Her breathing was shallow, and her chest heaved as she took in short breaths, trying to steady herself. Tears kept falling faster than she could wipe them away. They warmed her cheeks before the air turned them cold. It was the only thing that grounded her.
And Derek. Always Derek.
He had gotten off the bed, and within a second, he was wrapping his arms around her. The warmth from his skin calmed her. It brought her senses back to the moment, steadying her rampant heart.
“What’s wrong, (Y/N)?” he spoke into the crook of her neck. “Tell me what I can do to make it better.”
“I’m scared, Derek,” she sighed, tightening her grip around him. “A baby. Here. Now.”
“Why not here?” Derek smiled, his hands running through her hair. “Why not now? With you as their mother, that baby could be born underground, and they would be the luckiest child in the world.”
“How could you be so sure?” (Y/N) cried. “I forget things all the time, I’m clumsy, I can barely redeem myself when it comes to fighting. If it weren’t for my weapons, I wouldn’t bring much to the fight against our enemies. What good would I be to protect a child? How could I be entrusted with their entire upbringing?”
“Oh, (Y/N). You’re far more valuable than what you bring to a fight.” His hands cradled her face, the green of his eyes boring into hers. “You are the most caring person I know. If it weren’t for you, I would have killed half of the pack by now. You’re smart. You’re funny. And if anyone should be terrified of becoming a parent, it should be me.”
“Come on,” she scoffed jokingly, her tears finally subsiding. “You’d be an amazing father. Temperamental, but great nonetheless.”
“Well, I’m glad it at least got you laughing,” he grinned. “How about we just take this one day at a time, baby? Make sure we take things slow. Tell people on our own time. Instead of going to the doctor, we buy a pregnancy test at the pharmacy; confirm what I already know.”
“But if you can hear the heartbeat, I am sure all the other wolves will, too,” she worried. “How am I supposed to take things as they come when everyone will know the second they come here?”
“Then, I won’t let anyone back here,” he smiled. “I’ll have them meet me at the warehouse or at Argent’s place. We can say you’re sick with something and won’t be there. Or that you went to visit family out of state –I don’t know. The point is, we can do this, baby. I know we can.”
“Well, I do admire your tenacity,” she chuckled, kissing his lips softly and hugging him again. “One day at a time, right?”
“One day at a time.”
And it worked. For two months, at least.
That very morning, he went out and returned home with five pregnancy tests and a bouquet of flowers. And five minutes later, they all showed an array of dark pink plus signs and the word Pregnant on them. Just like that, it had been confirmed. A new baby Hale would be coming to Beacon Hills in eight months.
They were excited. Of course, they were. But they couldn’t help the terror that overtook them as well. Bringing a new life into their world was a scary thought. The fact that anyone with knowledge of their child could use them against them was terrifying. Still, they wanted that baby more than anything they had wanted before.
The child that grew inside of (Y/N) was the tangible representation of their love. Evidence that everything life had thrown at them had not been able to push them apart, not for a second. They had been through hell and back, always together, and they had come out of every single occasion stronger than before. That baby was the final piece to their equation.
The next day, they went to the first available OB/GYN about an hour from the town. The doctor confirmed what they already knew, adding the new fact that she was around seven weeks along. The process was more than uncomfortable, but the result was well worth it. A tiny blob appeared on the screen, and the sound of a rapid heartbeat filled their ears. It made tears well up in their eyes. That tiny thing would soon turn into their baby. And even though it didn’t even have a distinguishable shape, they had fallen in love with them.
At first, they thought they would pass the first trimester in bliss. That they would only grow more and more excited as the days passed. And they would have. Had it not been for all the symptoms that overtook (Y/N).
She spent most of her day hunched over the toilet seat, emptying whatever was in her stomach. Even when she thought she could keep food down, an hour or two later, she would be in the bathroom letting it out. And if she wasn’t vomiting, she was ransacked with deep waves of nausea. Then, her breasts started to swell, painful jabs running through her every few days. In addition to heartburn and fatigue, it made her question just how worth it a baby could be.
But Derek had been attentive as ever, if not a little overbearing. He had kept his promise of moving where the meetings were held, claiming that the loft was under renovation while (Y/N) was out of town for a bit. It wasn’t a complete lie, though. He used his downtime to clean up around the house and fix things he had put off for far too long.
He fed her saltine crackers and electrolyte drinks, rubbed her back, and held her hair, and he loved her. Every day and every night, he loved her. Even when he had to stay up cleaning the bathroom or he had to carry her back to bed. He loved her through everything.
“You did this to me,” she had groaned one day. “All I want is to eat chips and pickles, but I can’t keep anything down.”
“I know, and I’m sorry,” he responded, drawing circles on her back as he cradled her body in the bathroom. “Hopefully, in a week, it’ll subside. You’re almost out of the first trimester, and the morning sickness should get better.”
“Stop reading pregnancy books,” she whined. “By the time this bun is fully baked, you’ll know more than me.”
“Isn’t that a good thing?” Derek chuckled but swallowed his laughter as (Y/N) gifted him an angry scowl. “Okay, okay. I think the ten books I’ve read will do.”
(Y/N) remained quiet and threw her head against his chest. His arms snaked around her body, a comfort she allowed herself to sink into. The warmth from his body felt nice against her shivering skin. But just his presence was enough to comfort her, regardless of the words she spoke.
“I’m sorry I’ve been snappy these past few days,” she sighed. Her eyes closed as he wrapped his arms tighter around her, her head falling against his chest. “I love this baby, and I love you, but I don’t love puking all the time. And peeing all the time. And being tired all the time. I want to fast forward to the next few months.”
“Hey, you can be snappy with me all you want. I can take it,” he said with a smile. “I will be right here every step of the way because I love you. More than you could ever know.”
“Even when I’m all big and bloated?” (Y/N) chuckled, her hands falling onto the growing small bump. “They're already trying to deform my body.”
“Well, at least you’re glowing.”
“No,” she sighed. “That’s just sweat.”
“Then you look beautiful covered in sweat,” he laughed. “Now, let’s get you to bed. Alright?”
(Y/N) could only nod and wrap her arms around his neck as he carried her back to bed, laying right next to her. Even if he couldn’t take this discomfort away, he was trying his best to make things better for her.
Another week passed, and things started to shift. The woman would only occasionally feel the need to throw up her food, but the constant nausea and heartburn had subsided. And once (Y/N) saw her baby's small fingers and feet in their 12-week ultrasound, she knew it had all been worth it.
She also knew they couldn’t keep the secret to themselves any longer.
The pack had become angsty. Wondering when (Y/N) would be coming back from her supposed trip. Two and a half months was far too long to just be with family. With no imminent danger in sight, they had too much time to check up on everyone else.
“I think it’s time we tell them,” (Y/N) told Derek as they watched a movie. She cradled her small bump, something she had unconsciously started to do. “We’re almost at the five-month mark, and I think it’ll be too hard to hide.”
“Do we really?” he groaned. “I can just keep you hidden here until the nine months are up. They don’t have to know a thing.”
“You would really keep the mother of your child sequestered in these walls until I give birth?”
“Maybe even more,” he shrugged. “Maybe I’ll keep you here forever.”
“You’re quite funny, Mr. Hale,” she chuckled. “But they are our friends —our family. They deserve to know there’s one more person to protect.”
“I’ve just really liked this time,” he sighed. His chin rested on her shoulder, his beard tickling her exposed skin. “You know, just you and me. Basking in the time we won’t have once everyone knows and once the baby is here. It’s all I’ve ever wanted, (Y/N). A family of my own, that I can love and protect. A home that’s ours.”
“And we will have that,” she smiled. “We’re just allowing more love in. The best part, at the end of the day, we can just kick them out.”
“When you put it that way,” he laughed before kissing her lips, savoring her. “Alright, fine. We’ll tell them next Saturday.”
“Thank you, Der. It’s gonna be great.”
And it should have.
Had it not been for the million things that went wrong that week. The A/C was busted for a total of four days, a pipe burst in one of the bathrooms, the paint they had ordered for the nursery had been put on back order, and the Camaro had to be taken into the shop for tuning. Thing after thing occurred, piling onto an already stressful time.
Nevertheless, the week came and went. And before either of them knew it, Saturday had rolled in.
To say (Y/N) was nervous was an understatement. For some reason, anxiety was taking over her body. Its claws dug themselves deep into her being. It made her veins run cold and her heart speed. She didn’t know how any of them would react to the baby. Even to the fact that they had kept it from them for so long. And although Derek tried his best to calm her worries, they had already made a home inside her head.
“God, what if they hate the fact that I’m pregnant?” (Y/N) worried as she laid out more food than necessary on the kitchen counter. “What if they find the idea of bringing a child into a messed up world to be the worst thing ever?”
“Who cares, baby? It’s our child,” Derek tried to reassure. “We are the ones that will be raising them. The ones to protect them. Always and forever.
“But they say it takes a village, Der. And that is one thing that I know is true. I mean, at some point, we will need their help.”
“And you really think we won’t have it,” he said, rounding the kitchen island. His hands traveled her body and, in one swift move, had her sitting on the counter. At eye level, he could stare directly into her glossy eyes. “We have been through everything with these people. Even the ones I hated at the beginning have become my closest friends. I’m 100% sure they’ll be thrilled that you’re pregnant.”
He snaked his hand to her chin, pulling her down for a soft kiss. But once their lips made contact, it was too much of a temptation to keep it chaste. Soon enough, their tongues danced together, and their hands pulled each other closer. It left them breathless and excited, wanting —needing more.
“Uh, we can come back if it’s a bad time,” Stiles’ voice rang through the apartment, startling them apart. “But you guys did invite us here. So, it’s kind of bad on you guys.”
“No. Yes! I mean, it’s not a bad time,” (Y/N) chuckled as she jumped off the counter, hiding her stomach with a comically large bowl. “We just got carried away, I guess.”
“The one day they decide to show up on time,” Derek grumbled under his breath. “Come in, why don’t you?”
Before they knew it, the apartment was filled with werewolves, a banshee, other werehumans and supernatural beings, and their very own abominable snowman. The couple remained in the kitchen as everyone situated themselves, whispering under their breath what the best way to go about it would be.
“Not to be pushy,” Peter called out. “But if you guys only called us over for some food, I have better things to do than hang around children all day.”
“You do know we’re all well above the age of eighteen, right?” Isaac retorted. “It’s been quite some time since we have been children.”
“You’re still younger than me, correct?”
“Well, yeah…”
“Then children,” he said. “So, what is it? Am I staying, or am I leaving?”
“Settle down, Peter,” Derek responded, biting back the urge to roll his eyes. “We do have something important to announce to everyone and would very much appreciate it if you just listen.”
“Fine,” he frowned. “But you have ten minutes of my time before I decide to leave.”
“All we need is a couple of seconds, really,” (Y/N) said with a smile on her face so sweet no one dared say anything else. “I’m sure you heard that I was away for a while and that we were undergoing renovations here. Which, as you can tell by the lack of changes, was not true. Derek lied on my behalf and moved any necessary meetings out of our home because I needed this time to myself as I underwent a sort of change in my life.”
“Oh my god, you’re dying,” Stiles worried. “Is it cancer? Is it at least treatable?”
“It’s nothing like that, Stiles,” she reassured with a soft chuckle. “But thank you for worrying. It’s just as life-changing but not necessarily life-threatening. At least, I’m hoping it’s not. But you could never be sure until…”
“(Y/N), you’re rambling,” Derek whispered in her ear. “It’s nothing bad.”
“You’re pregnant!” Lydia exclaimed, a bright smile adorning her face.
“How would you know that?” Malia questioned. “I thought you predicted death, not new life.”
“It’s common sense,” she shrugged, disregarding the comment. “She’s been hiding for months. The place smells like paint, and nothing in this room is painted, so I can only assume it’s a bedroom. And she hasn’t stepped out from behind the island that just so happens to cover her stomach. Two and two always makes four.”
“Except on this occasion, it made three,” (Y/N) chuckled. She walked around the counter and joined Derek’s side, her bump finally on display for everyone to see. “But, yes, Lydia, I am pregnant. Almost five months now.”
A shower of holy crap’s and ‘oh my god’s rained over them as, one by one, the pack got to their feet and hugged the couple in congratulations. They rejoiced together and started planning how to spoil little baby Hale even before they were born. Every single person was as excited and overjoyed as Derek and (Y/N) were, anxious for when the baby was born.
Well, except Peter.
“Yeah, next time you have these kinds of news, little nephew, make sure to make it an email,” he grumbled, looking at his watch. “Can’t believe I canceled evening plans for a pregnancy announcement.”
“We love you too, Peter,” (Y/N) laughed. “Maybe if you leave now, you can still make it to whatever it is that you had planned.”
“I’m already here,” he shrugged as he sat back down on the sofa. “Might as well take advantage of the free food.”
“Ignore him,” Derek told her, wrapping his arms around her waist. “He can’t take this moment away from us. It’s all ours.”

Can you do something for Issac Lahey? Maybe like him reacting to reader getting hurt or him being overly protective but he’s been too scared to share his feelings
Your protector
Pairing: Isaac layhey x reader
Summary: Isaac has been extra protective since you joined him in the supernatural world
Warnings: best friends to lovers, protective Isaac, sweetheart Isaac
AN: whoever requested this i want to give you a kiss because i love Isaac so much, he was so adorable and not talked about enough throughout the teen wolf fandom. Also this may be really long so bear with me here.
Isaac is your best friend, or was, about seven months ago he decided to drop you with no warning and joined the group of kids that everyone wanted to be apart of led by Scott McCall. You’d be lying if you said you werent completely broken by it, but you accepted it. You guessed after his dad died he decided he’d shed his old life and make a new one. He also had began dressing and acting different. He had this strong aura around him, he was confident and it showed. You were happy for him, that he gained himself a new family, you just wished he’d taken you with him.
that leads you to today, it was raining lightly and you were still getting used to walking home from school alone, even though after all of this time you should be, you weren’t. You and Isaac had been walking home together since first grade when you moved to beacon hills and befriended the boy two houses down. You were walking past the animal clinic when you heard something ruffle behind you, you quickly turned around and squinted trying to see what you could, but after a couple of seconds of nothing you turned back a round and resumed your walk. Why you decided not to bring your bike today? You didn’t know but now you were cursing at yourself for the stupid idea. You heard another ruffle behind you but it seemed closer, you turned around again but saw nothing. But you heard it, it was something big and its breathing was heavy. Almost dog like.
‘Hello?” You called out, bringing your hand up to shield your eyes from the rain, “look whoever you are this isn’t funny” you shouted, people in school, specifically Jackson loved to torment you now that you were alone almost 99% of the time. You quickly turned around and continued walking with a faster pace, deciding against the cliche horror movie following the sound move. A knot grew in your throat as you tried to conceal your anxiety.
Then out of nowhere you heard another growl from right behind you. You didn’t take the time to turn around and look that time, you just took off in a sprint. You only made it a couple of steps before you slipped, no thanks to the slippery ground. You hit her head pretty hard, all of a sudden a huge animal like figure was standing above you huffing, almost angrily, your breathing picked up but you couldn’t move. It was like you’d been glued to the ground. The animal circled your trembling form, you hoped that if you didn’t make any move the animal wouldn’t consider you a threat and leave.
You quickly figured out you were wrong, because after thirty seconds of circling you the animal bit you on her leg, you let out the most blood curdling scream as the animal ran off back into the woods. You sat up looking at your now blood covered leg, the shock suddenly hit you and everything went black.
You woke up to an intense pounding in your head, and the bright light shining above You did not help. “Christ” you muttered covering your eyes with your hand, only then did you feel the burning in your leg. You hissed, suddenly moving to grab at the injury, “you might not want to do that” a voice spoke entering the room startling you. “Sorry it was time for me to feed the animals”. It was the man you had known to own the animal clinic, suddenly confused you sat up. “Am i in the animal clinic?” You asked tilting your head. The man nodded before turning around and grabbing a bottle of pills handing them to you “should help with the pain” he said. Still confused you spoke “is this not for animals?” You asked. The man paused “you’ll soon find that my specialties lie beyond animals. I’m deaton by the way.” He said “take those and here is a water. I have a phone call to make. What is your name, may i ask?” He said handing you a small bottle of water. You eyed the pill bottle suspiciously “y/n, y/n l/n” you said. The man nodded walking out of the room, you guessed to go make the phone call.
‘what the hell’ you thought, before downing the pill. Anyone would’ve called you crazy for trusting the guy but you didn’t care, you had just experienced the most terrifying thing ever and you were in pain and desperate.
You sat in the room alone fore a round 25 minuted before you heard three new voices, which you recognized fairly well. You hopped off the table and snuck into the next room, careful not to put too much weight on your injured leg. In the room stood Scott stiles and… Isaac. All four of the men stopped conversing when Scott made eye contact with you over deaton’s shoulder. At the sudden silence deaton turned around toward where the boys were looking and saw you standing in the door way. “Y/n id like you to meet-“ “i know who they are” you cut him off. You tilted your head “i don’t understand why are they here?” You asked, eyeing Isaac who wouldn’t even meet your gaze. “Y/n we should talk.” Scott said taking a careful step towards you. You nodded “okay.” You complied. “you might wanna sit down” stiles said pointing to the row of chairs.
With the help of Scott you were able to do so with no casualties. The three boys sat down in front of you. “Okay” Scott spoke. “What happened to you today is gonna change you. For the better or worse is your decision. It’s gonna make you faster, see better and hear better. Along with some other things” Scott trailed off. You took in what he was saying, “is it what happened to you two?” You asked pointing at Scott and Isaac. They both pulled surprised faces, while stiles looked offended “wait why wouldn’t you assume it happened to me?” Stiles asked. You looked at him as if he was crazy “they randomly got good at lacrosse. You still… suck to say the least” you said. Stiles squinted at you eyes twitching. Scott cut stiles off before he could cause a scene. “Yes thats what happened to us” he answered, you nodded. “Wait am i like a, vampire or something?” You asked, dread filling her veins. Scott glance at Isaac, confused on why you were so cool about it who shrugged. “Uh yeah, something like that but more animal..ly” he said. “oh so like a werewolf” you said. He nodded.
after they finished giving you the rundown and was shocked at how well you took it they offered you a ride home and of course after the day you had, you accepted. The two boys in the front chatted mindlessly as if this was a normal occasion but you could practically feel the anger radiating off of Isaac. Which was funny to you because last time you checked, you were the one that should’ve been mad.
When you arrived at home you thanked them and hopped out sparing a glance at Isaac before closing the door door and walking away. What you missed was Scott basically forcing him to go talk to you, so when you heard the car door open and close again then quickly drive off you turned around confused until you saw the blonde curly headed boy. You waited for him to reach you before silently entering your house, inviting him in.
You went to your room and Isaac almost timidly followed you “You know you don’t have to stay with me out of pity” you said. He sighed entering your room, noting the small changes that’d been made “it’s not pity y/n” he said eyeing your picture collage that surprisingly hadn’t changed at all. You squinted “no? Then what is it? Guilt?” You said.
After all this time you thought you weren’t angry, but now that he was standing in your face, you were angrier than ever. “Me getting bit is what it took for you to finally look in my direction again is that it?” You took a step forward. Isaac averted his gaze to his shoes . “I was trying to protect you.” He quietly spoke. You let out a laugh “protect me? Well you did a great job at that, look at me now i have a bite on my leg that i don't even know if ill live from, and if i do i just so happen to ill have creatures and people trying to cut me in half or rip my heart out so thank you for ‘protecting me’” you said sarcastically.
”it wasn't supposed to be like this” he said finally looking you in your eye. “well tell me what was it supposed to be like Isaac?” You asked getting louder. “not like this y/n, you weren’t supposed to get involved in this life” he matched your volume. “Right and completely cutting me from your life was the best way to go about that” You shouted, your heart began to race and the anger in your chest began to fester like it was burning your skin. Isaac’s eyes widened “y/n calm down” he stated carefully. You glared at him “no i don't think i will” you said stalking forward. Isaac quickly grabbed you and before you had any chance to retaliate he turned you to face the mirror you had on your wall. Your eyes were glowing a bright orange, the shock hit you like a ton of bricks and the glow immediately disappeared. “What the hell? Do yours do that?” You asked him, Isaac stood behind you wide eyed “yeah, but not that color” he answered. You turned around in confusion “what do you mean?” You asked. “I think we should call Derek” he said pulling his phone out of his pocket “hale?” You asked incredulously. He nodded.
‘what the hell’

you were nice to me and acknowledged my existence so i hope you know that means you’ve unknowingly asked for all my dumbass, hyper-specific 12AM bullshit thoughts.
you can turn this into a mini blurb or teen wolf pack headcanon - whatever works for you, but who do you think in the pack is would be into you wearing a necklace (or any form of jewelry really) with their name/initial on it? are they buying it for you or is it something you would have to initiate, do they want one too with your name/initial on it?
i know it’s not everyone’s thing but i think it can be really adorable 🥰
if this isn’t your vibe just let me know, no biggie 🩷
This is absolutely my vibe!!! I love this prompt so much omg. Also, I love it when people come to me with their random 12am bullshit - whether it's just to rant in my inbox about fictional characters or to suggest fic ideas. This is what Tumblr inboxes are for
My requests for Teen Wolf are open!! Just make sure to read my rules first!!
What would the pack think of you wearing a necklace that represents them?
A/N: I changed it from an initial to a representative symbol, partially because of a tiktok that Star sent me the other day of someone selling Teen Wolf necklaces in an Etsy shop that I can't stop thinking about and I want one so badly, and partially because I think Derek's tattoo would make a really amazing necklace.
Warnings: descriptions of canon level violence, I tried to make the reader as gender neutral as possible (please let me know if I messed up anywhere on that), Isaac's low self eesteem due to his father's abuse, mentions of Jackson x Lydia, references to sex (but nothing descriptively smutty), I think that's it.
Includes: Derek Hale, Isaac Lahey, Scott McCall, Stiles Stilinski, Erica Reyes (I got tired while writing this so that's all the characters we have lmao)
Derek would love it. It would be his idea - he would be the one to give you the necklace.
He met you shortly before becoming an Alpha, and you were the defining member of his pack. You were the first person he had bitten in order to turn them - you had been bleeding out outside of the Hale house after Peter had stuck his claws through your stomach, sensing Derek's attachment to you (even if it was something that Derek himself hesitated to admit), and he had called Derek weak for taking a liking to you. So the moment after Derek had slashed Peter's throat open, making him the Alpha, he had used his new found power to bite you, ultimately saving your life.
You were someone he had once viewed as his weakness, but he had come to realize that you were his ultimate strength. You showed him how to interact with Erica, Isaac, and Boyd with kindness and understanding, you showed him how to harness his Alpha power with more than just the anger he harboured inside. You showed him love - something his isolated heart hadn't felt in years.
To him, the triskele tattoo on his back represented the three forms of a wolf could take - the powerful, leading Alpha, the following Beta, and isolated, weak Omega. It represents how a wolf can rise to power, but he can also fall to weakness if he's not careful.
When he gave you a necklace with that same symbol as its pendant, he explained to you why it was so important to him that you wear it.
"You have helped me rise to my full potential." He told you, pinning the clasp behind your neck. "Every time I look at this around your neck, I want to be reminded of that. I want to be reminded not to fall to anything less." He kissed the base of your neck, causing you to break into a large smile as his thick, warm arms wrapped around you from behind. "I need to be reminded to serve you a good, loyal Alpha every single day. Not to fall back into my former weaknesses."
"I thought I was your weakness?"
"No. You're my strength."
Isaac would be unsure about it. And it most definitely was not his idea.
It started with you and Lydia hanging out before a lacrosse game - the two of you were getting ready in her room, and while she finished up her makeup, she said 'oh!' as if suddenly remembering something, and then went to her jewellery box. You looked on in curiosity as she pulled out a necklace, and when you squinted closer, you saw that it was a silver pendant with the number 37 on it.
"What's that?" You asked.
"It's Jackson's jersey number." She told you. "It's good luck for a player's girlfriend to wear his jersey number, and I didn't want some big ugly jacket with the numbers written on the back."
It made you wonder if you should wear Isaac's jersey number to the game, even though the two of you had been playing around with dating, not exactly official. Isaac was hesitant on PDA and labels. Lydia encouraged you, though, and she ended up using a red lipstick to write his number 14 on your cheek, making you look like a crazed fan - but everybody at the game already knew who you were there for.
Before the next game, Lydia gifted you with a necklace similarly to her own, with the promise that she wouldn't have to freeze her ass off in the stands alone - and to her, it was like the two of you had matching best friend necklaces, representing the lugheads that you cheered for on the field together. At first, you only wore it to games. But then you found comfort in wearing it all the time.
Isaac, of course, took notice of this - his eyes easily magnetized to the number 14 glimmering on the silver chain around your neck.
He felt like he didn't deserve to have a mark on you. He was undeserving of claiming you, undeserving of being called your 'boyfriend'. He was worthless, and you wearing something that represented some kind of serious relationship between the two of you - why did you want him? Why?
After a long, tiring night of talking, some tears, and eventually some kissing - he finally understood. And from then on, he was more than proud to have his 14 constantly shining around your neck.
Scott would love it. But it would be your idea.
The two of you had to date in secret - your family had a loyalty, an alignment with the Argents, so you couldn't be seen with Scott in public, creating a deep frustration between the two of you when you couldn't hold hands in the hallways or go on 'real' dates like other couples could. Scott expressed a deep frustration at loving you, being your boyfriend, but not getting to be yours twenty-four seven like he wanted to, and that's what caused you to come up with the idea.
You got a silver heart locket necklace, and inside, put a picture of the two of you. Well - it was a piece of the picture of the two of you. You grabbed a photo of the two of you kissing, and cut out the space that had formed between your necks when your lips came together in a kiss - to anybody else (most important, if your family saw it) it would have looked like a photo of blank sky. But you and Scott were the only two people in the world who knew what the photo truly was.
And you gave him the rest of the photo with the missing heart shape cut out between the two of you so that he could be reminded of your next words every single time he looked at it.
"The space between us isn't what matters." You told him firmly, pointing to the space you had cut out of the photo. "No matter how big that space gets, we always know how much we love each other. We'll always have each other."
From then on, every single time he looked at the silver heart dangling around your neck, it was something he remembered with a smile. No matter how far the two of you had to be apart, no matter for how long - your love kept you together.
Stiles would absolutely love it. It would be his idea.
Stiles would be incredibly shy and shitting his pants nervous about asking you to wear his numbers, but the week before, you had asked him to be your boyfriend after a roaring success of a first date that he had no clue how he landed with you. His first game as a first linger was coming up, and he felt like things could only go up from here.
He had you, he was first line, so - he steadied his courage as he tightly gripped the black velvet box that had the shiny gold necklace in it, praying that this wouldn't be too much, too soon. Praying that he wasn't going to scare you off.
"Um, hey." He greeted you at your locker, a ball of nervous energy that had you giving him a questioning eyebrow.
"Good morning." You smiled at him, wondering why he was acting so strange. You leaned in and kissed him on the lips - a light, chaste kiss in greeting, and he felt himself nearly knocked over by the joy of it.
This was really real. He had you.
"What's that?" You asked, motioning toward the box in his hands.
"Oh, uh - a gift." He said. "For you."
"Stiles, you didn't have to. It's not my birthday or anything."
"I know." He said. "I want to - to do something special. To celebrate you being mine."
An intense wave of butterflies overtook you at this, and you look on in awe as he opened the box, presenting the necklace to you.
"It's - um - it's my jersey number. Ya know - 24. Just - it's a thing that people usually do, wearing their boyfriend's number... and I - am I being too weird? I'm sorry." He went off rambling the longer that you didn't speak, and you quickly raised a hand to his wrist, trying to calm him with a soothing touch there.
"I love it." You assured him with a smile. "Thank you. I can't wait to wear it."
"I could... help you put it on now?"
You nodded enthusiastically, and he excitedly grabbed it out of the box.
From then on, you never took it off. You were more than proud to be his, and proud to show it off by wearing the necklace.
Erica would fucking love it, but it wouldn't really be intentional on either of your behalves.
One thing Erica never expected about becoming a werewolf - how possessive it would make her. But being able to smell when someone had touched you, being able to hear how hard your heart pounded when you were scared or anxious - it made her want to rip apart anybody who even looked at you the wrong way. The two of you weren't even officially dating. Your friendship always crossed weird lines - you were the only person who was kind to her when she was an outcast, and after she transformed, you were the only person she knew for certain didn't just want her for her body.
The sex between the two of you was amazing, but you never talked about feelings.
One night in the haste of undressing, she dropped a necklace on your floor - a nameplate necklace that her parents had gotten for her birthday a few years ago. You didn't want to forget to bring it back to her, and you thought it was funny, a kind of joke - so you put it on. You thought nothing of having the name 'Erica' dangling around your neck in bold silver letters.
When Erica saw it - it drove all of her wolfish instincts insane. Seeing her claim on you, her name literally written across you - it took everything she had in her not to throw you across a table in the middle of the library and fuck your brains out, then and there.
And she saw the way other people reacted to it too. The way guys would go to flirt with you, but then their eyes would dart down to the necklace and then look to her, as if finally noticing her presence glaring at them, telling them to back off - and then they would scatter in fear. It was the first time in weeks that the two of you actually had peace.
So she implored you to keep it. She loved having a silent little claim on you. After all, wolves love claiming their territory, right?

It took a while but Isaac had finally calmed you down, Erica had left and even though Stiles wanted to stay because he was worried about you, Isaac had convinced him that he would take care of you.
"Are you sure?"
By now you had yourself tucked into Isaac as Stiles talked to you. You nodded wiping your tears away, "Yeah, Stiles, I'm fine. You should go home and rest. I need to find Scott and then I will too." He hesitated again before slowly nodding, you didn't see it but Isaac and Stiles had shared a knowing glance like some kind of exchange that just said 'make sure she's safe'.
Stiles had finally left and it was just you two. You guys sat in silence and he just caressed your hair. Even though no words were being exchanged between you, it wasn't awkward. It was comfortable. Even with all the dried tears on your face and the sniffles, it felt right to be there with him.
"How you doing, baby?"
You were startled by the nickname, you had heard him call you that while you were whaling but you hadn't thought he would keep calling you that. "What happened to 'your favorite girl'?" Your voice was so hoarse and it hurt to talk but you couldn't help but joke.
He chuckled at your question, "You can still be my favorite girl and be called baby."
You giggled, "I know, just teasing."
He smiled softly at you, you were still in his arms curled together on the floor. His hand was on your cheek, his thumb brushing your cheekbone, "Nice to see you back to yourself, if you're ready we can walk to the station, Derek will probably take Scott there after." You tilted your head up, nodding lightly, "Yeah, I'm ready."
Sure enough when Isaac and you reached the Hale pack hide out both Derek and Scott were there.
"Scott! Are you okay?" You crashed into the boy's back, who let out a gasp from the impact. He turned around and his eyes widened, "Have you been crying, what's wrong?"
"She was worried about you," Isaac had caught up with you, standing behind you two. "But I'm okay now, you're okay so everything is good," you hugged the boy once more. When you pulled away, you noticed Derek staring off into space, "You guys were having a serious moment, weren't you?" Scott tilted his as if he wanted to say no but in reality it was a yes.
"We can't save Jackson." Your head snapped to Isaac and then back to Scott, "I'm sorry what?"
"We can't seem to kill him either," Derek mumbled. "I've seen a lot of things Scott. I've never seen anything like this. Every full moon is just gonna make him stronger."
"Then how do we stop him?"
The Alpha shrugged, "I don't know."
"Maybe you should just let the Argents handle it then," you chimed in sitting on a chair.
"I'm the one who turned him, it's my fault."
"Yeah but you didn't turn him into this," Scott argued, "This happened because of something in his past, right?"
"That's a legend in a book. It's not that simple." You crossed your arms in annoyance, "What do you mean?"
"What are you not telling us," Scott asked at the same time as you.
"Why do you think I'm always keeping something from you?"
"Because you always ARE keeping something from us!" The both of your voices had resonated, it had even startled Isaac. "Well, maybe I do it to protect you."
"Doesn't being part of your pack mean no more secrets," Scott asked quietly.
"Go home, Scott. Take (Y/N) too. Sleep. Heal. Make sure your friends are safe. Cause the full moon is coming and with the way things are going, I got a feeling it's gonna be a rough one."
~
It was officially spring break and that meant Lydia's birthday was almost here. Much to your surprise, there was a box on your porch from the red haired girl. She had sent you a dress to wear to her party tonight. You thought it was sweet considering you two weren't really friends. You were planning on going to her party so the gesture made some sense, unfortunately, you would have to leave early due to the full moon.
Derek had asked you to find something for the Betas to get through their first full moon, he had mentioned a spell and while you couldn't find anything like that you were able to find a type of potion to deprive them of their senses and calm their minds.
This morning you had decided you should probably pay the newly formed pack a visit, especially since you needed to let Derek know what you found and your plan. Which is why as soon as you got up and got dress you were on your way to the abandoned station.
You walked down just in time to here the pack talking once more, you did always seem to do that. "It's a spiral. Reminds us that we can all rise to one or fall to another. Betas can become Alphas, but Alphas can also fall to Betas or even Omegas," Derek explained.
"Like Scott?" Isaac stood looking at Derek.
"Scott's with us."
"Really? Then where is he now?" Derek looked at the Beta, "He's looking for Jackson. Don't worry, he's not gonna have it easy tonight either. None of us will. There's a price you pay for this kind of power." Derek picked up the chains, which you had recognized to be the same ones you had seen before, "You get the ability to heal. But tonight you're gonna want to kill anything you can find."
You had walked further into the room as Erica joked, "Good thing I had my period last week, then?"
You saw Derek pull out another chain, this one had a large circle and spikes on it, "Well this one's for you." You cleared your throat to let your presence be known and the whole pack turned towards you. Derek had nodded at you, like a peace offering on some kind, "Did you find it?"
You pointed at him, "The spell, no. But I did find this potion type thing that's able to deprive someone of their senses for purposes like this.
Derek looked relieved, "Thank you, do you have it?" You shook your head, "No, it takes a little bit of time to prepare and I just found it the other day. Deaton is helping me though to make sure it's perfect, should be ready tonight."
"Okay, thank you, bring Scott tonight, I might need some help." You hissed slightly, "Oh, yeah that might be a problem."
"What do you mean?"
You sat on a crate nearby as you began to explain, "Well you see, Lydia's birthday is tonight and Allison and Stiles are making us go. So Scott's gonna probably be busy with that and the whole finding Jackson thing." Derek had given you a deadpanned look, unimpressed by your answer. You raised your hands in defense, "Hey, don't look at me like that, they're making me. Lydia's even pressuring me," you leaned forward like you were gossiping to a group of best friends, "She sent me a dress and it was on my front porch this morning. I mean now I have to go, right?"
You scanned the room and almost everybody in the room was amused by your words, except for of course Derek. You sighed, "Don't worry, I'll be here to drop off the potion stuff tonight, I'm not gonna stay there for very long." Derek finally excepting defeat and just nodded walking away.
Erica and Boyd starting to converse from across the room and Isaac made his way to you slowly. You stood quickly, trying to play it off as best as you could. He made you nervous, especially now that you could let your guard down around him.
"You're going to a party?" You nodded slowly, confused since you had just finished talking about it, but when you looked up into his eyes, you saw it.
Jealousy.
"And Stiles and Scott are going too, right?" You nodded once more this time slightly more amused. "Yes, they are even if they weren't going you don't need to worry, I'm not gonna go around dancing with guys." His eyes widened as he realized he had been caught. You grabbed his hands softly pulling him a little closer and whispered, "When you get this whole full moon thing down, there will be nothing stopping you from being my plus one to every party."
Your words had gotten him flustered, you could see it in his eyes and in the way his cheeks glowed a little redder. It was like the old days, with the soft shy Isaac you knew before, "Walk me out?" He nodded his eyes just focused on you like a trance.
~
You had gotten ready for Lydia's party, of course wearing the dress she had given you, and you were at the clinic before you met up with Scott and Stiles.
"So, you added a little bit of rosemary to the water and then what," you asked watching as Deaton crushed the rosemary and threw it in the bowl. "Evening primrose, it's native to America and the oil extracted has been know to be quite anti-inflammatory. When combine with a Nymph's magical energy it was discovered to be able to affect supernatural species however they choose depending on the concoction," he laid whole petals into the water.
He turned and opening a cabinet, pulling out a Bunsen burner and rigging the small bowl above it. He looked at you and pointed to the bowl, "Rosemary is known to heighten concentration and memory, it will allow them to remember their human side more. Normally you would want to let the flowers ferment in the water for a week to allow the water to naturally be flavored."
You looked at him as he turned on the flame, then water instantly starting to steam, "But since we don't have time for that, heating the water will just have to do, it won't be as effective but with Derek and you there I'm sure it'll do the job." He gave you a smile before sliding your book over to you.
"You mean with Derek there, I'm still useless in a fight," you muttered, you felt a hand on your shoulder and you saw Deaton open the book. "Not anymore, I'm going to help you learn a basic offensive spell that uses a similar technique to your barriers. Since you've become more familiar with that and your natural talent, it should pretty easy for you to catch on." Your hand gripped the table, finally, you wouldn't be useless. You could actually hold your own, protect your friends.
"Okay, what do I do?"
He guided you away from the table and into the open space, he stood next to you. "For the most basic offensive technique you keep your hands here," he showed you, his elbows bent and his palms facing out, "You then will push out like your pushing someone away from you."
You copied the movement that you were very well acquainted with, considering you were constantly pushing Stiles around. "This doesn't seem that hard," you commented.
"The movement no, the build-up and timing will be."
You gave the man a confused glance, "What do you mean?"
"You essentially have to build up, in simple terms, your magic power to use this. What you're doing is using the amount of power you allow to either push an opponent back or even strike them. If you don't put enough magic pressure into, you could very well die to an enemy."
Your lips pursed, "Ah, there's the catch, it's never gonna be easy is it?" He chuckled, "No, unfortunately for you, your powers are all about balance. It's all tedious strategy and technique. Now try for real, let your power run through your veins and into your palms," he gestured into the open area.
You took a deep breath and closed your eyes, trying to feel every ounce of the power you spent so long keeping down. It felt like a weight had been lifted and you felts tingles in your hands. You took the stance and pushed with as much force... nothing.
You tried again.
Nothing.
"Why can't I get it," you groaned.
"Relax, you have time. When you build a barrier what do you do?" You huffed at his question, crossing your arms, "Well, I imagine the energy flowing around whatever it is, that seems to work best." He nodded and pointing, "You see, just as I had said to Stiles, the imagination is a wonderous thing, do that and try again."
Shaking your limbs out to loosen up, you took another breath. A few nervous hops later and you brought yourself into the stance once more. You went through the motions, this time even with your eyes opened, you imagine the same iridescent glow you're used to. You pushed it out and this time...
You felt a blast whish passed you, blowing your hair. Everything on the shelves rumbled and shook, clattering around. "Yes! I did it!"
"And just in time too, the water is ready. All we need is just a spark of your power and it'll be good to go." He had bottled the waters into small vials and raised them up to you. Maybe it was the happiness of everything but without even thinking you raised your hand and instantly the vials shined your usual iridescence. When you realized what you did, your eyes widened, "It seems you're becoming more comfortable with who you are," Deaton smiled, "Now, I believe you have a party to go to."
~
"Hey! Allison! Wait up!"
The dark haired girl turned around to see you running, well trying to at least, to her. You were in heels and while you didn't have problems with walking, anything faster was immediately not as easy. "Damn it! Why did she send me a dress," you complained adjusting the fabric, "Normally I wouldn't say anything but tonight is not the night for me to be wearing something even slightly inconvenient."
She laughed at you giving you her arm, which you gratefully took, "You're still helping Derek tonight?" You nodded patting your little purse which held the vials, "Yep, sadly Derek created a problem that he needs others to help fix." Allison nodded along, "Yeah it feels like this whole semester has been about Derek and his pack."
You scoffed, "Tell me about it. We also never get to hang out anymore either so it makes it that much more impossible to not focus on the Derek problem." Allison smiled at you, you two really hadn't been that close recently. When she first came to Beacon Hills, you had easily befriended her (mainly for Scott you will admit) and even though she had hung out with Lydia and Jackson, it never deterred you from the girl. She was truly your closest girl friend if you were being frank.
"Well I'm glad you're here, I've missed being able to hang out," she said tugging you further up the driveway. You reached Lydia's front door where she had greeted you both with a smile, a smile that made you slightly uneasy. You chalked it up to the fact that you just weren't close with the girl and went back to scanning the room for Jackson, and your best friends.
"I'm gonna do a walk of the house, see if he's wandering about," Allison said pointed in the distance. She started walking off when you nodded, "I'm gonna look for the boys, be careful."
"You too."
She was now gone and you once more let your eyes wander the backyard, this time you had actually seen the two boys you were looking for. They had just made they're way outside when you reached them, "Hey."
They acknowledged you, "Have you seen Allison?" You nodded at Scott, "Yeah, we came in together." Scott went to ask you another question but he was quickly shut down by the clicking of heels, you turned to see Allison walking back up to you, "Uh, Jackson's not here."
"Yeah, no one's here," Stiles observed the backyard and he was right, it was eerily quiet. "Maybe it's just early," Scott suggested.
"Or maybe nobody's coming because Lydia's turned into the town wack job," Stiles expressed. You kissed your teeth and gestured to the boy in agreement, your eyebrows raised. "Well, we have to do something, because we've completely ignored her for the past two weeks," Allison said.
"She's completely ignored Stiles for the past ten years," Scott argued and shrugged. Stiles tried to defend himself, "I prefer to think of it as me not having been on her radar." You rolled your eyes, "Yeah, whatever helps you sleep at night."
Scott made an unconvinced look, "We don't owe her a party."
"What about the chance to get back to normal?" The question shocked Scott, "Normal?"
"She wouldn't be the town wack job if it wasn't for us," Allison countered. You held up your hand, "Now hold on. First, just want to clarify, not against throwing her a party, it's her birthday. But it's not our fault she's gone coocoo for Coco Puffs, alright? That was all on Peter. Peter is the reason any of us are even in this mess to begin with, so she can blame him like the rest of us."
There was a silence after you made your point and you broke it once more, "Now that I've made my point let's throw her a good party," you said offering Allison your support.
"I guess I could use my co-captain status to get the lacrosse team here," Scott had relented. Stiles nodded as well, "Yeah, I also know some people who can get this thing going. Like really going." He dug into his pocket for his phone and Allison tilted her head, "Who?"
"I met them the other night. Let's just say they know how to party."
You chuckled catching on to who he was referring to, "Well then I'm sure this party is going to be in good hands. Chop, chop, people, let's go."
Soon enough Stiles' and Scott's called guests had made it and now the party was much more lively, you were pretty sure you could slip out now without Lydia noticing. You were standing with Stiles and Scott, watching as Allison stood across the pool with Lydia.
"Are you gonna apologize to Allison or what," Stiles asked. Scott's head snapped up to look at the boy, "Why should I apologize?"
"Because you're the guy. It's what we do," Stiles pointed out. You snorted at his answer and it caught both your best friend's attentions, "More like, you've made her feel ignored for the past couple of weeks."
"But I didn't do anything," Scott said cluelessly, you shook your head with a slight roll of your eyes as Stiles continues, "Well then you should definitely apologize. See, anytime a guy thinks he hasn't done anything wrong it means he's definitely done something wrong." You nodded this time, "Now, that, is true."
Scott grumbled, "I'm not apologizing." You nudged the boy slightly, "Is that the full moon talking, buddy." Scott looked at you and agreed, "Probably."
"Why do you guys care, anyway."
"Because, Scott, something's gotta go right here," Stiles emphasized, "I mean, we're getting our asses royally kicked, if you haven't noticed. People are dying. I got my dad fired. You're gonna be held back in school. This one is in love with a nut job," he gestured, "And so am I. If on top of all that, I gotta watch you lose Allison to a stalker like Matt, I'm gonna stab myself in the face."
"Hey, I'm not in love with Isaac," you exclaimed. Stiles scoffed, "Yeah, okay sure, I never said Isaac, Mrs. Denial." You went to argue again but was cut off by Scott standing, "You know what, you won't need to stab yourself in the face because I'm gonna do it for y-."
"Don't stab yourself in the face."
Both you and Stiles paused, looking at the Omega, "Why not?" Scott didn't look at Stiles, "Because Jackson's here." You three looked across the pool and there he was just staring at you guys. You blew out a stream of stressed air, "Alright, that's my cue to leave. You guys got this?" Both nodded wordlessly, keeping their eyes on Jackson.
~
Leaving the party was pretty easy actually, you got out like the Flash and now you had to deal with your anxiety of being in abandoned train car with three crazed out Betas. You had rushed into the car to see Erica and Boyd chained up in the back huffing from rage and Isaac and Derek in the front.
"Okay, so I see I might have been a little late," you said awkwardly.
Derek gave a pointed look, "Yeah, no kidding." Isaac however looked much more relaxed than before, still you could see he was definitely struggling. That's when you heard the two Betas in the back to cry and scream. The noise made you wince as you crouched down next to Derek and in front of Isaac.
"How do you not feel this," Isaac gritted his teeth.
"I feel every second of it," Derek had basically snarled. That didn't stop Isaac from shooting back, "Then how do you control it?"
"Find an anchor. Something meaningful. Bind yourself to it to keep the human side in control," Derek instructed tightening the chains, he jutted his chin out to other set on Isaac's other side and you got the message. You took the other chain and began to tighten it as best as you could.
"What is it for you?"
Derek took a pause before answering the Beta, "Anger. But it doesn't have to be that for everybody."
"You mean Scott?" You nodded slowly and whispered gently, "Scott's is Allison, even just the thought of her is able to calm him down." Derek indicated that you were right, "Alright, that should do it," he declared.
You opened your little shoulder clutch and grabbed the three vials, "Here, if you can get these two to take it now, it should help calm them down." You handed him two bottle and he nodded starting to get up but then he was interrupted by a loud break. Isaac had broken the seat holding his chain, he gave you both a knowing look.
"Go, get out of here," Derek urged you and before you panicked even more you opened the third vial you still had, "Take care of those two, I'll be okay." He didn't even respond as he was already moving to the back. You looked at Isaac who had sweat dripping from his forehead, "You need to go, it's not safe." You shook your head sitting on the chair, "Do you trust me?"
Isaac didn't even hesitate before agreeing, "Okay then I need you to drink this, okay?" He nodded and tilted his head back slightly and you poured it into his mouth, resting your hand in his hair to support his head.
"It might take a moment but it should kick in soon," you didn't get to see his reply because Derek had rushed towards you, grabbing your forearm and dragging you out of the train car. You could hear all their screams as Derek left a voicemail for Scott, "Hey Scott, could you call me back, I think I'm gonna need some help." Cue the violent and guttural growls and screams from Derek's pack.
"I thought you said it would help them?"
"It will but it's gonna take some time for it to kick in, it wasn't that strong since I couldn't properly prepare it."
Derek nodded, "Definitely gonna need some help." He unleashed his claws and walked inside the car. You followed closely and quietly behind, Derek had side stepped to stay out of Isaac's slash. You stayed in front, out of the away but also because your body ran cold, the sight of a blood thirsty Isaac terrified you.
Erica and Boyd had broken free and started advancing towards Derek. You had gotten distracted and hadn't even realized that Isaac also broke free until you heard the crunch of metal and the smash of glass. You lifted your hands up protecting your face from the flying shards, "Isaac!" He had already jumped out and you couldn't afford to take care of him yourself, not when Boyd and Erica were currently slashing at Derek, who was on the ground.
You had a clear shot to hit at least Boyd, maybe if you could get him off Derek, the Alpha would be able to fight off Erica himself. You focused your energy trying to make sure your blast was gonna be power and then when you were ready you pushed it out, watching as the glowing blast knocked Boyd off and made him forget about Derek. Only then did you realize that meant Boyd was now on you.
Derek had done exactly like you had thought and started to fight off Erica. You on the other hand were currently using small blasts to at least keep Boyd back. "Boyd, listen to me, I don't want to hurt you. Please, just calm down!" The Beta didn't listen, he snarled before raising his hand high to bring it down for a big slash. When he made a dash for you, you were prepared to feel something since you had no time to push him back.
But you never did.
Instead you heard another crash and felt someone shove passed you, you opened your eyes to see none other than Isaac holding Boyd down against the seat. He acknowledged Derek with a nod, letting him know he was in control. Things calm down once Derek had also knocked Boyd out and locked him and Erica back against the pole.
Isaac calmly sat in his old seat just staring forward, his eyes glowing. You sat next to the boy while Derek began to rechain him. "I think you'll be okay now," Derek started, "Looks like you found an anchor." You noticed in the corner of your eyes him direct his gaze at you but you paid no mind to it, only keeping your focus on the boy in chains.
"My father."
Your eyes widened. You didn't know what you were expecting as his answer but it certainly wasn't that. You saw the same confusion on Derek's face, "You father locked you in a freezer in the basement to punish you." He had said it as a statement but it sounded more like a question.
"He didn't use to."
Isaac set his hand down in his lap and Derek jangled the chains to confirm its security. "Go, take care of them, I got this," you said softly to the dark haired werewolf. He silently looked at you before walking away. You hesitated for just a moment and then you lightly rest your hand on top of Isaac's. "I'm glad you found an anchor, although I wasn't expecting it to be your dad." His head slowly rotating to you, "It's not."
You eyebrows scrunched and you tilted your head, "But you just said-."
"I lied."
Nodding slowly, you adjusted your position, sitting more comfortably, "Okay... then what's your anchor?"
"You."
"Me," you whispered, "but how-." He cut you off once more, "When I ran out, I heard your heartbeat pick up. You sounded so scared and I came back to myself instantly. I had to come back, to protect you, to make sure you were safe. Nothing else mattered." Your whole body dropped out of awe, you're sure you looked lovestruck by now. How do you not after hearing that?
"If it weren't for the audience back there and outside, I would totally kiss you right now."
The boy chuckled lightly, "Guess I have to wait until morning then."

Sleep Away Camp
Stiles Stilinski x Fem Reader
Summary: Beacon Hills High School's annual science camp trip is coming up. Knowing Stiles is going you think this might be a good time to shoot your shot. He ends up saving you from the mimic that followed Scott and Stiles to the camp.
Word Count: 2.5k+
<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3
The class dragged on as you watched the clock tick, almost mockingly. It was the day before the science camp trip. The students who chose to go would spend three nights and four days in the California wilderness. Everyone may have been buzzing about the trip for the past couple of weeks, but you were exhilarated. You had taken a day trip with your mom to purchase everything on the suggested list. It was all sitting at home, ready to go in the duffle bag that you had rearranged 3+ times. You were thinking about all possible scenarios of rebellion that were bound to take place. There were rumors about different friend groups planning on sneaking out into the woods and doing god knows what.
The bell had rung and you were one of the first people to leave the room. You rushed home as fast as you could to get ready before heading back. All the students were supposed to meet in the school parking lot at 4 p.m. to load onto the buses. Your phone was going off like crazy, distracting you from washing your face and fixing your hair. It was peers posting on their stories, all of them were pretty much the same. Girls posting boomerangs of their cute luggage; boys posting stupid, half-serious jokes like: ‘Meet me in my tent for a good time tonight.’ Your face physically cringed when you saw posts like that. Did they think that was going to help them get girls? You noticed that Lyida had texted you, asking if she could give you a ride and if you’d sit on the bus with her. After texting her back agreeing to both you finished up getting ready. Right as you were about to take your stuff downstairs to wait for her, your mom came into your room.
“Are you ready to go? I can drive you,” she said with her keys in hand.
“Oh sorry I was about to tell you, Lydia is going to pick me up and drive down there together,” you said, now feeling slightly bad.
“Are you sure?” she asked.
“Yeah.. if you want I can text-” you started.
“No no, it’s okay. I mostly came in here to tell you I love you and to please be safe,” she started, “it had a lot less anxiety the last time I sent you,” she finished, sitting on the bed.
“How? I’d figure it would be scarier knowing I was younger going to sleep away camp,” you said.
“Well, you were only 11. I knew the teachers would be watching you and you couldn’t keep your eyes open past 11 p.m.,” she laughed before continuing, “I just want to remind you not to do anything you might… regret,” she sighed.
“Mom, I'm not going to hook up with anyone or do anything stupid. I may be a teenager but I can control myself,” you said.
She reassured her trust in you before helping you down the stairs with your bags. Lydia had texted you that she was about to be there. After giving your mom a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek, you loaded your things into Lyida’s car. She wasn’t as excited as you were but you could tell she was happy to spend time with Jackson. You, on the other hand, had your eye on Stiles. When you asked Lyida if it was okay if you pursued him, she laughed and was almost insulted that you asked. You liked Stiles ever since 6th grade and figured this weekend would be the best place to make your feelings known. She parked her car and you both walked over to the group of students that were gathered to enter the bus. Stiles and Scott were standing together talking while sharing a bag of chips. Allison and Issiac were standing next to them, She waved when she saw the two of you approach. Lydia and Allison immediately began talking with each other, same with Scott and Issiac.
“Hey, are you excited for the trip?” he asked, wiping his face with his sleeve.
“Yeah, I can’t wait to see the stars, it's way easier to see them from the forest,” you said.
“Oh yeah? I heard we're gonna do a big campfire tonight with smoke and crap,” he said.
“I’m a little nervous because of all the animal attacks lately. If it's is that bad in the city I'm sure it’s worse in the wilderness,” you said.
“Oh well yeah, I mean I'm sure it won’t be that dangerous. If it was they probably wouldn’t be taking all of us up there right?” he said laughing awkwardly at the end.
“Yeah that’s true,” you said, realizing that the entire bus had already been loaded while you were talking.
All the seats were taken, even Lidya was sitting next to Allison. Stiles and you ended up sitting next to each other. At first, you were nervous about sitting next to him for the entire ride. Seemed a little too confrontational, especially considering you were going to try and get with him by the end of the trip. However, as time went on, you realized you guys had a lot in common. You were both into sci fi-movies, you both were in the same computer coding class, and both had a rather impressive collection of legos. It felt like the ride flew by because of how engaged you were to each other. You apologized every time your thigh bumped into his and eventually, he scooted closer so that your outer thighs were pressed together. It was getting close to sunset which was making the clouds and sky look beautiful. You were looking out the window for a while, taking pictures of the view. Once the buses arrived, everyone filed out and waited to be directed to the tents. Lydia was complaining because she thought they were going to be cabins. All the tents were on this wooden platform that was about 4 feet from the ground. The ‘tents’ were a metal A-line structure that had a waterproof cover over it. There were these little cots inside, it was three to a tent.
“Well isn’t this just great, we were camping in the woods and they gave us a literal fort made of sheets to sleep in,” Lidya said.
“Come on, it’s not that bad. You could tell when we walked in that it was warmer than outside,” Allison said.
“I think it’s kinda cozy,” you said which made Allison laugh.
“Like you and Stiles on the bus?” Lydia asked.
“Well yeah, you were supposed to sit with me. You could have told me that the line was moving,” you laughed.
“Oh I know, I was doing both of us a favor. You got the chance to hang out with Stiles and Hopefully, he’ll leave me alone once he falls for you,” she said, shoving her suitcase under her cot.
“You think he’ll fall for me?” you asked hopefully which caused both girls to laugh at such a stupid question.
It was nightfall now and everyone was making their way to the campfire. It was huge, easily 7 by 7 feet with logs all around it for students to sit. You saw Scott and Stiles sitting on one of them, holding a place for all three of you. He smiled at you when you saw him which made you blush. The two of you went to grab more stuff for the group. Stiles kept catching his marshmallows on fire, incinerating them. You ended up making him four, he inhaled them as fast as you could make them. Eventually, Allison wandered off with Scott, and the same with Lyida and Jackson. You weren’t allowed to go off into the woods but the two of you didn’t go far. It was hard to talk to each other in a serious way when you could barely hear each other talk. Over the loud crackling of the fire and the sheer amount of students laughing and roughhousing. You were looking up at the stars, amazed that they could be so bright. You were pointing out different constellations and explaining how you learned some of them when you played The Last of Us. When you looked back at him, he was staring at you.
“What?” you asked.
“Uh- did you like the game?” he asked.
“Oh, yeah I never really get emotional for the storylines of games but that one got me. Made me reflect on my character, especially because Ellie had no idea what life was like before the apocalypse. So materialistic, oh my god when I replied to it and saw how Joel and his daughter lived before everything my jaw dropped. It was so weird to see them ‘normal’ again you know?” you finished.
“Yeah I get that feeling of you know, -sigh- not cherishing what you have until it’s gone,” he said.
“Sorry I didn’t mean-” you started.
“No, don't even worry about it. I’m glad we could spend time together alone like this. These days I feel like I’m surviving more than living,” he said.
“Me too,” you said smiling.
After you both hung out in the woods for a little longer before heading back to camp. You even walked back hand and hand which made your stomach flip. The bonfire had gotten smaller and there were less campers outside then when you left. Allison and Scott were making out against a tree that was a few feet out of sight from chaperones. For dinner, the camp had a BBQ, it was simple; just hamburgers and hotdogs with fruit and a couple random sides. Once you both got your plate you quickly realized all the bugs were making it impossible to eat. When you first suggested that it would be better to eat in your tent, Stiles' face went white and then turned a deep shade of red. Nonetheless he followed to the tent and as predicted Allison and Lyida were nowhere in sight. He started awkwardly complementing the decor out of nervousness which made you laugh. Both of you ate in awkward silence for a couple moments but then started talking about the itinerary the camp had planned. Right as the conversation got more serious, the girl came back to the tent. Stiles ended up leaving and they interrogated you about the nature of what happened when you were alone with him. You told them the truth, it wasn’t anything crazy so they were a little disappointed in you.
The three of you went down to the showering area which was actually quite nice. You thought it would be similar to a hand built out house or something. You weren’t even expecting hot water so it was a nice surprise. They even had electricity, thank god because you didn’t want to go to sleep with wet hair. By the time you were walking back to the tent it was pretty late. After being in school all day and being socially interactive all day long was making you really tired. It didn’t take you long to fall asleep after you laid down. After you’d been sleeping for a couple hours, you heard a tap on the metal frame of the tent. It scared you at first but then you heard a voice.
“Y/N?” you immediately recognized it as Stiles.
“Stiles? What are you doing oh my god you scared the crap out of me!” you whispered.
“Meet me where we talked in 20 minutes,” he whispered and before you could respond he walked away.
You were taken back for a second but figured you would go. Maybe he wanted to tell you how he felt. Why else would he come and ask you to talk in the middle of the night? You got up, trying your best not to wake up the other girls while changing. It was freezing, to the point where you couldn’t stop your teeth from chattering. You were really scared as you walked toward the trail that led away from the camp. Before you went to bed the camp was bright and full of energy and now it was dark and deadly quiet. You wrapped your arms around yourself to give you a sense of security. Once the camp was out of sight it was even more dark than before. It took you about 10 or 15 minutes but you were finally where he agreed to meet you. You recognized the nearby long that was almost completely hollow.
“Stiles?” you asked out loud.
“Are you there?” you asked again when you heard nothing. You kept hearing sounds of leaves crunching and different animals.
“Stiles!” you called out a bit louder.
“I’m here,” he called out.
You were about to call out one last time when suddenly arms were wrapped around your waist and mouth. You were trying to scream and thrash away, whatever had you lifted you up then tucked you behind a tree.
“It’s me, chill out it’s Stiles,” he whispered on top of your head.
“What are you-” you started.
“That wasn’t me, that thing that said ‘i’m here’ we think it’s a mimic. Just be very quiet for a second,” he said, still covering your mouth with his hands.
He quickly stopped talking as you both peered over the tree. Your heart was pounding out of your chest as you watched what appeared to be Stiles walking past you guys. Tears were now streaming down your face, Stiles was wiping the ones he could reach with his thumb. When Stiles had picked you up from behind you stayed in that position even when he pulled you both to the ground. He was on his feet, in a catcher position and you were sitting on your bottom with your knees to your chest. He still had his arm wrapped around your waist, you could see his arm rise and fall with how rapid you were breathing. After the mimic was out of sight he started leading you in an unknown direction.
“I’m kinda freaking out right now,” you said shakily.
“I'm sorry I know this is a lot. You came to my tent and told me to meet up at the spot. I didn’t realize it was the mimic until it was something weird until I came into the woods wandering around looking for you,” he said.
“Why are you acting so nonchalant about this, I feel like I’m losing my mind,” you said.
“I’m sorry I can’t explain everything right now but trust me we need to keep going,” he said, it made you nervous to see how scared he was but you held your ground.
“I’m not going to follow you blindly into the woods. I don’t even know what we're running from, the safest place for us is the camp so-” you started but were interrupted.
“YOU don’t know what’s at stake here. This thing is dangerous, like crazy strong and fast not only that it changes forms so you never know what it really looks like. I really want a chance to be able to take you to the formal and I won’t be able to if we're dead. So I beg of you, blindly follow me and I promise I’ll show you why you’ll trust me to do it again,” he said quietly into your ear before pulling you by the arm, safe to say you didn’t have much to say after that.

“What’s going on?” Scott asks as he comes to a stop next to Stile and Isaac in the school hallway.
“Nothing.” Stiles shakes his head quickly not believing Scott needed to know, but Isaac ruined Stiles' plan.
“Just watching Y/n get hit on by the twins.” Isaac smirks, but then gets hit upside the head by Stiles.
“Dude.” Stiles looked at him with a glare.
“What?” Scott looks at them with shock and panic.
“Over there.” Isaac nodds his head to where Y/n’s with the alpha twins. “They’ve been flirting with her for the last 15 minutes.”
Scott looks to where Isaac nodded to with wide eyes. “Seriously?”
Stiles nodds. “Yeah.”
“What do you think it’s about?” Scott questions, watching every movement they made towards his friend.
Stiles raises a brow at the true alpha. “What like ulterior motives?”
“They could just think she’s hot.” Isaac shrugged his shoulders, he’d admit Y/n was hot. But he instantly got glares from Scott and Stiles. “Not helping. Got it.”
Later that day after school Y/n and Scott headed back to Scott’s house to study. It had been an hour of pure silence and Y/n couldn’t take it anymore.
“You okay? You’ve been silent since we left school.” Y/n asks, looking concerned at him.
“What did the alpha twins want?” He blurted out what had been on his mind.
“Huh?” Y/n now looked at him confused.
“They were talking to you practically all day. What’d they want?” Scott shrugged his shoulders, not sure how his question wasn’t clear.
“Nothing.” Y/n shrugged back, not getting the big deal.
“They had to want something.” Scott pushed wanting to know but also thinking in the back of his head was this to much? Was he just jealous?
“Is it so hard to believe that they’d just want to talk to me?” Y/n raises her eyebrows in shock at her friend's words.
Scott scoffs. “They were flirting, not talking.”
Y/n nodds. “To flirt you have to talk.”
“So you knew they were flirting.” Scott looked at her with shock and disgust.
Y/n let’s out a short laugh. “Kinda hard to miss but it was really only Aiden.”
“Scott narrows his eyes after hearing the name come out of her mouth. “Ok so you have a preference on a twin.”
“Ethan’s gay!” Y/n yelled looking at Scott with shock and disbelief. “As for the flirting, yeah I enjoyed it. . . It was nice to have that kind of attention.” She bowed her head feeling slightly insecure and embarrassed.
“That kind of attention?” Scott asked, confused on what she meant by that.
“If you haven’t noticed I don’t get flirted with or asked out that often.” Y/n explained keeping her gaze down, playing with a loose thread on her jeans.
“Y/n.” Scott spoke her name sadly, regretting how he came about and was treating her earlier in this conversation.
“Just forget about it. Okay.” She waved him and his impending pity off and got back to studying.
“Y/n.” Scott called her name after a few minutes of silence and thought.
“Hmmm” Y/n hummed in acknowledgment.
“I’d flirt with you anytime.” Scott smiled sheepishly at her.
“Thanks Scott.” Y/n smiled back blushing.

I'm Not Afraid | Chapter 19
Word Count: 3.6K
Story Description: (Y/N) Argent arrived at Beacon Hills to put to rest her father’s sister, Kate Argent. For the first time, her family has decided to settle down and sustain a life in this interesting small town. After 17 years, (Y/N) has the opportunity to establish interpersonal relationships but will she be ready to face the complications that come with relating to her cousin’s, Allison, friends; especially, the infamous Derek Hale. She will face the adventure of being associated with the Derek and McCall pack, as well as being faced with the discovery of certain aspects of her life she never imagined.
A/N: heheheheehehe 🤭🤭
<- Previous | Next ->
By the time Stiles and (Y/N) had driven back to the school, classes were over, and students flooded the parking lot as they made their way to their cars. The pair parted ways with a promise to ditch school again one day. Stiles disappeared back into the school, and (Y/N) waited for Isaac to come out of hiding, which she had done for the past week. Yet, time passed, and there was no sign of the blond boy. He’d taken to appear while the crowd was heavy in order to conceal himself, but the parking lot emptied, and he didn’t come out.
Dread washed over her as she pulled out her phone to call him, worry swimming through her veins as the call was sent to voicemail. All she could think of was the worst thing that could happen. Her family had finally caught him, and he was currently being tortured for answers, or worse, he was already dead.
Her vision blurred with tears as the thoughts flooded her mind, guilt gripping tightly around her throat. She had already begun to blame herself for Isaac’s supposed capture. If she hadn’t been his friend, they would never have been able to pin him. Once more, she had gotten too close to someone and had put their lives in danger. As hard as she had tried to protect him, she had failed.
She zoomed through the streets as she made her way home, praying to whatever was out there that Isaac was in her house and had, for some reason, forgotten to charge his phone. As much as she wanted to think positively, she had never been wired that way. (Y/N) had been taught to think of everything that could go wrong in a situation, no matter how unnecessary it could be. Her mind flooded with thoughts of losing the one person she had fully trusted for the first time in many years. She could hear him calling for help, pulling his weight in whatever fight had ensued, giving it his all until there was nothing left to give. But it all ended the same way. With Isaac either hurt or dead.
As soon as she arrived at her house, she dropped her bike on the grass like it had burned her, not caring if it smashed into pieces as it hit the ground. She knew her parents weren’t home. Not only was their car gone, but the family also had them occupied every second of the day. The girl had free range to turn the house over to find her friend.
“Isaac?!” she yelled, waiting for a response that never came. “Isaac, are you here?”
She ran to the basement, not even noticing when her dog had joined her side. Brody barked to catch her attention, but she was focused on her parents’ office. (Y/N) clicked through their computers, searching for any hint in their calendars, any clue in their messages, anything. But there wasn’t even a post-it note out of place. Everything they knew, she had known long before them.
But she couldn’t stop there. If her family had anything to do with Isaac, there would be no evidence. She had to confront them face-to-face and deal with the repercussions afterward. (Y/N) fished for the key of her parents’ weapons cabinet, arming herself with whatever she’d need to take down whoever stood in her way. Even if she got hurt, she would not go down without a fight. The Argents had gone long enough without paying for the things they had done, and it was about time they did.
As she strapped a rifle to her back, she heard a stumble on the floor above. Whoever had been sent to her home had caught the short stick that day. Red anger flowed through her veins as she walked silently up the basement stairs, a handgun tight in her grasp and her loyal dog slowly behind. Nearing the door, she removed the safety from the gun and braced herself.
“Woah, woah!” Isaac yelled as she burst through the door, a gun deadest on him. “It’s just me, (Y/N).”
(Y/N) ran toward the boy without a second thought and wrapped her arms around him tightly. He was there, unharmed, and staring at her like she had gone crazy. “Where were you?” she cried, tears burning her eyes and making their way down her cheeks. “Why didn’t you answer my calls?”
“My phone died,” he said, holding her tighter still. “What did you think happened? Where are you going with al this ammo.”
“You weren’t at school or answering the phone, and I thought my family… I didn’t know.”
“Were you about to light up your family to find me, (Y/N)?” he chuckled, cradling her face in his hands and wiping away her tears with his thumbs. “Are you crazy?”
“Maybe,” she laughed hoarsely. “I didn’t really have a plan in mind. I just couldn’t let them get away with hurting you.”
“Well, I can safely say, stand down, soldier,” he teased. “My phone died, and I was meeting with Erica and Boyd. I would have left you a note, but you left school before I did.”
“Yeah, well, I needed to cool off,” she sighed, taking off the gun she was wearing and dropping the rest of her weapons on the hallway table. “These past few weeks… I just needed a break, and Stiles happened to be there.”
“So, what? He’s your new best friend?” Isaac grumbled as he slouched onto the sofa. “What if something had happened while you were with him? At least at school, you’re kinda protected, but out there? Who knows?”
“You do know I can protect myself, right?” (Y/N) chuckled as she sat next to him. “I may not have supernatural strength or healing, or even claws, but guns and knives can also do the trick.”
“Those healing scratches on your face would beg to differ.”
“I’d like to see any of you guys pull your weight in a fight without all those abilities,” the girl teased. “I, at least, can’t be paralyzed by the Kanima. So, I think I can protect myself good enough.”
“Whatever,” he mumbled under his breath, crossing his arms over his chest and furrowing his brow in annoyance.
But she knew Stiles and her recklessness weren’t exactly what he was worried about. Behind his blue eyes, she could see something else was setting a dark cloud over him. There was worry that hung heavy on his shoulders and concerns that stole his sleep at night. Too many questions ran through the boy’s mind, and no one seemed to have given him the right one.
“Come on,” she said, bumping her shoulder against his. “Tell me what’s really going on.”
Isaac sighed deeply, resting his head on her lap like he had started to do when he needed comfort. “Boyd and Erica are leaving,” he responded. “With everything that’s going on, I don’t blame them. Not having anyone while we’re being chased to our deaths… it’s a suicide mission. Leaving might just be the only choice.”
“Is that what you think? That you’re alone in this?’
“(Y/N), you know I can’t stay here forever,” Isaac reminded her. “We’re lucky I haven’t been caught so far, but your parents are gonna notice sooner or later. I don’t want to put you in a position where you’d have to go against them like you were planning on doing today.”
“Why not, Isaac? I can talk to my dad, and we can find a way to keep you safe. Hell, we could keep Erica and Boyd safe, too. With Allison looking for you guys, it’s not smart to be out in the open by yourselves. I’m sure that with his help…”
“I can’t keep putting you in this position,” he exclaimed. As he sat up, (Y/N)noticed the tears that reddened his eyes. She could tell he was terrified. He had no home, no pack, and an alpha that seemed more lost than he was. The only thing he was sure of was that staying with his best friend made him a sitting duck and a perfect target for her family. “You know, there was a time when I thought my biggest problem would be my father. I never thought that the one thing that got me away from him was the thing that put me in the most danger. “You’ve done more than you can imagine, (Y/N),” he smiled sadly. “But I can’t keep putting you in danger like this. The best thing I can do for all of us is go.”
(Y/N) was quick to wrap the boy in a hug as matching tears fell from her eyes. “I can’t lose you, Isaac,” she said. “We’ll figure this out. Just… you can’t go.”
“There’s nothing else I can do,” he replied softly. “Not that I can think of anyway.”
“Please stay,” she mumbled against his chest. Her voice came out weak and exhausted as she was no longer able to be strong. It had taken (Y/N) so long to find someone she could confidently call her friend finally, and in a matter of months, she was going to lose him. She felt as though the universe was telling her that she wasn’t made for relationships. “I need you, Isaac.”
The pair stayed in each other’s arms as they calmed, unsure what direction they’d be taking next. Isaac hadn’t had someone care about him as strongly as (Y/N) did in a long time. He had forgotten love and care could come from a soft touch and not the hard slap of a punishment. She had reminded him that life wasn’t that scary when there was someone by your side, especially someone that was willing to go against her family in order to keep him safe. The last thing Isaac wanted was to lose her—much less leave her with her while danger still lurked through every corner—but staying only made things worse for her. He knew, no matter how hard, the best decision was to go.
“I’ll talk to Scott tomorrow,” he whispered instead. “Maybe he’ll have an idea of what I could do.”
“Alright,” she sighed against him. “Just be careful, okay? I don’t know what’s going on with him and Gerard, but he seems to always want to do the right thing.”
“I will,” he promised. “But why don’t we go to sleep now? I have a feeling tomorrow is gonna be a very long day.”
Isaac couldn’t seem to catch sleep at all. He watched as (Y/N) tossed and turned next to him, her own nightmares keeping her stuck in dreamland while his kept him wide-eyed.
Before her, he didn’t care to stay in Beacon Hills—hell, he didn’t care if he lived or died. After his brother died and his father’s temper took a turn for the worse, there wasn’t much that tied him to the town. He wasn’t particularly good at school; without his supernatural strength and speed, he wasn’t that good at sports either. Now, his father was dead as well, and he had no home to call his own. Isaac was the perfect candidate for a runaway. Even if he was gone, the town would continue on as if nothing had happened.
Night turned to morning as Isaac tried to succumb to his tiredness, time somehow speeding when all he wanted was for it to stop. (Y/N) was still dead asleep, her arm wrapped around Brody as they both snored softly. If there was anyone that cared about what happened to him, it was her. And she was the only person in the town he truly wanted to protect.
Before she could wake, the boy slipped a t-shirt over his sweatshirt and jumped out the window with his backpack on his back. He still wasn’t sure what he was going to do, but if he decided to leave, a clean break was the best way to do it. Isaac knew if he told (Y/N) he was possibly leaving, she’d find a way to make him stay. Or, even worse, try to go with him. He had to make a choice by that night, even if it hurt.
He knew Scott would be in his usual shift at the vet’s office, and it was a good time as any to pick at his brain about the situation. The door was unlocked when he got there, and he let himself in, flinching as the dogs quickly started barking the second he was inside.
When Deaton and Scott walked around the corner, he was sure they would throw him out. He hadn’t proven to be a good person, much less an ally, and he could understand if they wanted him gone. Instead, the doctor welcomed him warmly, allowing him to join them in the exam room, where the foulest odor reached his nose.
Laying on the stainless-steel table was a small white dog, weakened by whatever sickened it and the very source of the smell. The poor animal whimpered as Deaton injected something into it, and try as he might, Isaac couldn’t help but grimace at the odor. “Why does it smell like that?”
The colleagues looked at each other with knowing smiles before Deaton said, “Scott said almost the same thing to me a few months ago. One day, he could somehow tell the difference between which animals were getting better and which… were not.”
“He’s not getting better, is he?” Isaac questioned, a sudden wave of sadness rushing through him as the doctor confirmed his suspicions. “Like cancer.”
Sickness had a very distinct smell, Isaac learned. It was bitter and musty, almost like smelling a batch of fruit that had been left to ferment for months. The scent gripped his nose, painting the walls of his nostrils with a sample of what came next. Death. And all he wanted to do was to save the poor mutt from it.
“I know you’re well aware of what your new abilities can do for you,” Deaton said after calling the boy closer. “Improved strength, speed, and healing. You ever wonder what it could do for others?”
The vet guided Isaac’s hand onto the dog, pressing it firmly against his skin. Suddenly, black rushed through his veins, crackling under the pressure of whatever was filling his body. “What did I do?” he asked in surprise, feeling as the ooze sank into him.
“You took some of his pain away,” Scott smiled. It was an overwhelming sensation for him. Even if it had been only a little, like Deaton said, it had done a lot for the small pup. Tears welled in the corners of his eyes, and he wanted nothing more than to be able to take more. “It’s okay. First time he showed me, I cried, too.”
But they were tears of joy. Tears of accomplishment. Derek had only been teaching the pack how to be defensive, how to protect themselves and people around them from whatever dangers lurked in the shadows. Yet, there was a world of knowledge waiting for him, and Derek didn’t seem to want to show it to him. At least not while the Kanima was around.
Deaton left then to place the dog back in his kennel, and Isaac found it to be the perfect time to talk to Scott. “They’re leaving tonight,” he said as Scott cleaned. “After the game.”
“So, why are you telling me?”
“I’m not telling you. I’m asking you,” Isaac responded. “I’m asking for your advice.”
“From me?” Scott asked, dumbfounded. “Why?”
“Because I trust you, and so does (Y/N),” he admitted. “She said you always seem to want to do the right thing, and I agree with her.”
“I usually have no idea what I’m doing,” Scott shrugged. “Actually, I never have an idea of what I’m doing.”
“Well, do you want to let me know what you’re doing now?”
“I’m not going anywhere if that’s what you mean. I have too many people here who need me.”
And those were the words that struck the deepest chord in Isaac. “I guess that makes me lucky ‘cause…” he chuckled sadly. “‘Cause I only have one person, and I’m doing her more harm than good by staying.”
As he stood to leave, Scott stopped him. “Are you gonna go with them?”
“Yeah,” was all he could think to answer. “Yeah, I think I will. Good luck with the game, though.”
“Well, thanks, but I’m not going either. Can’t think about playing some meaningless game right now.”
“You weren’t at practice last week, were you?” Isaac questioned. “And you didn’t hear? Jackson was there as if nothing had happened.”
“That means… the game tonight?”
“Yeah. He’s playing,” he said. “I thought someone would have told you by now.”
“Yeah, no. N-no one did,” he stammered. “You’re sure about this?”
“Mhm, it was one of the last practices I went to before (Y/N) told me Allison had grown the manhunt. It stopped being safe for me to be there. I’ve been hiding out at her place ever since.”
“Is that why you think you’re putting her in danger? Because she cares about you?”
“It’s not what I think, Scott,” he sighed. “It’s what I know. I mean, you have to know what it’s like with Allison and everything. (Y/N) was ready to burst into her family’s house with guns because she thought they had taken me.”
“I don’t know what it’s like,” he answered meekly.
“What do you mean?”
“Allison, as much as she says she loves me, was quick to turn on me when she was lied to about her mom’s death. She’s never believed in us as strongly as (Y/N) has,” Scott admitted. “If there’s anyone you should stay for, it’s her.”
Scott’s words hung heavy in Isaac’s mind as he walked through town, not really sure where to go. Erica and Boyd were more than likely either at Derek’s old family home or already long gone. He couldn’t go to Derek, not when he had something—someone—more important. Being cared for may have been something Isaac had forgotten, but there was someone making sure he remembered it.
He waited until he was sure he wouldn’t be caught before jumping through the window he had left through some hours before, expecting to find the room empty. Instead, he found a frantic (Y/N), sending her phone flying in his direction and tears falling down her cheeks.
“Where the hell have you been?” she exclaimed, her words hoarse from the crying. “I’ve been calling you for hours!”
“Sorry,” he shrugged. “I turned off my phone.”
“I thought you were gone, Isaac,” she cried. “I thought you had taken your things and were never coming back.”
“To be honest, I thought I was,” he confessed weakly. “I really thought the best thing would be if I just left without a trace—that it’d be safer for you in the long run.”
“Are you crazy? I was worried sick that something had happened to you. If Allison…”
“None of that happened, okay?” Isaac said as he crossed the room toward her. He placed one hand on her arm and another on her cheek, stopping her body from shaking. “And I’ve decided to stay. I’m gonna fight this to the last consequence.”
(Y/N) looked up at him with teary eyes, relief finally washing over her as she confirmed that Isaac was there, that he was real. “You’re not alone, Isaac,” she said. “Neither are Erica nor Boyd. You just have to let people help. I know it’s a lot, and it’s scary, but you’re not alone.”
“I know that,” the boy smiled. “I know I have you on my side and that the best thing we can do is protect each other. I’m sorry it took me so long to understand that.”
“I thought you were gone for real this time,” (Y/N) confessed after a moment of silence. “I didn’t know what to do. I even almost called Derek.”
“He wouldn’t have done anything,” Isaac sighed. “He made himself clear. Once we left, we were on our own. After everything he’s told us, I don’t know what he’s thinking.”
“I think he’s just scared. Facing all of this while taking care of you guys cannot be an easy task,” she said. “I think he wants to protect everyone but doesn’t know how to. Just because he looks older doesn’t mean he is—he’s learning as he goes, just like us.”
Isaac chuckled softly as a warm smile tugged the corners of his mouth. “How can you still be so kind to him after he broke your heart?” he asked. “You should be cursing him out, not seeing his side of things.”
“I’d like to think he had a reason for what he did,” she responded, trying her best to hide her real hurt. “I’d like to think maybe one day things will get better.”
“You’re too kind for your own good,” he said. “You’re something else, (Y/N) Argent.
And for a second, for a split second, his eyes fluttered to her lips. His heart beat loudly against his chest and he felt the sudden urge to know what the pink of her skin tasted like. He wondered if she’d gasp at the suddenness. If perhaps she’d push him away or maybe even kiss him back. All he had to do was move a couple of inches toward her and he could lay his questions to rest.
“You should get ready for the game then,” (Y/N) said, breaking him out of thought as she jumped away from him, pulling out his jersey from her dresser. “If anything is gonna go down, it’s gonna start there. I can feel it.”
“Won’t your family know you’re there as a traitor? I mean, it’s not like you’ve been very active in their work.”
“They won’t kill me in public,” she said. “And if they try, they’ll have one hell of a fight coming for them.”
