So I want to start shipping the different train operating companies together:
Let me start off with Scotrail. I think that Scotrail is definitely Aro Ace. She is happy doing her own thing, and live in a cold hut in the middle of the snow and the heavy winds. Both LNER and Avanti keep approaching Scotrail but Scotrail is completely uninterested in their approaches and wish that they would leave her alone.

A page from FIND A SEAT by @pppondi!
It's hard being dumped. It's even harder when, on the way home from being dumped, you get on the wrong train. Some would say the hardest thing of all is being dumped, getting on the wrong train, then finding out that the train belongs to Death and they don't plan on letting you leave.

Thank-you oh so much, ScotRail, for all your trains being broken and stranding me (thankfully in a city centre, and my dad can drive to pick me up rather than having to take the straight up dangerous midnight bus).

I left my suitcase, containing multiple sonic screwdrivers, much of my DW collection and DAVID'S AUTOGRAPH, on a train.
I've already filed lost and found and I'm going to travel to the stations tomorrow to see if the left luggage depts found it. Station staff said there's nothing more I could do. Has anyone had any experience with ScotRail lost and found? I just feel so bloody stupid, gosh.

Part 3 in Shipping different Train Operating Companies Together
LNER does have lots of cousins who they don't like (the cousins kind of maintain relationships with each other, I mean what kind of Alabama level bulshit is this). Maybe that caused enough psychological damage, explaining why they are so pushy with Scotrail, but let's be clear, LNER's actions are completely unjustified regardless.
LNER is in fierce competition with Avanti, but what Avanti doesn't know is that LNER performs about as well as Avanti without even trying. Avanti keeps upgrading itself, trying to beat LNER but LNER doesn't even try and still performs as well. If LNER actually tried, well he'd easily beat his rival Avanti.

(2024-08-18 image ©scotrail) We all know how poor the WiFi in out trains is. This is not just an issue with very rural areas, the trainline from Leicester to London is poor, and that is an area where there is (intermittent) mobile signal.
What about the north of Scotland where there is very limited mobile signal? Yes the WiFi in trains in the far north of Scotland is none existent. The issue is how to get the signal connected to the wired internet. Now Scotrail are trialing a satellite solution,. The trains will provide WiFi to the passengers and will use LE+O Broadband satellites to connected to the Internet. This will be an interesting development. The trial lasts 12 months covering much of 2025.
