Judging by the scenes featuring cooking in their paths and special stories it seems like...

ABSOLUTE NATURALS: Karno, Krioff

Just to add to this (spoilers for Promise of Infinity):

Just because they are indeed the same soul, that does not give the King of the Heavens the right to plant into MC's head the only way she can spend forever with Hue is to lose her own identity and go back to being Clotho.

Like, by changing her psyche back, aren't you technically making Hue feel the heartbreak of losing her all over again?

Not to mention if the reason why MC cannot become a Goddess according to the King is because she would never be able to leave Hue behind - then doesn't that mean the King suspected that history would eventually repeat itself? That they would need The Goddess of Fate's powers again?

Like... why does he want Clotho back so much?

Besides, I don't even agree that MC wouldn't find a way to help. Sure she probably wouldn't do what Clotho did until every other option had been exhausted but look at Hue's sequel story - she did nearly step through that door, but in the end they fixed it by going through it together.

Hue and MC are stronger together.

And it's about time even the King of the blasted Heavens realised that.

I can't stop thinking about the concept of reincarnation thanks to a certain god -> looking at you, Hue Spoilers ahead btw, you have been warned (✿◠‿◠)

The story established, that Hue loved/loves Clotho. From what I picked up during my reading of all Hue's stories and mainly "If you were a Goddess", Clotho was not really different from present day MC in character.

When Hue gave up his eye to save her soul, we know, that the very same soul survived and was reincarnated to MC. It's still the same soul, there is no alternation, no buts or ifs, just the Soul ™️ Yet the story tried to portray this as if MC was completely different person and like, I get from where the writers are coming from. MC definitely has her own life experiences that her previous life didn't - she has her own family, education, job, interests. But in her core, Clotho and MC are the same to me. They are both very kind, playfull and selfless personalities. Their mannerism is same too. There is no confirmation but I assume they look same or very similiar in looks too because MC just seen herself when she looked in the water mirror in the "Mussings on Love" story.

In this story, "Mussings on Love" she was transported into the past, where she occupied her previous body of Clotho and it was only due to her own jealousy. She pondered if Hue loves her or the goddess more. But like, how can this even be a question? It's still her. Goddess was her, MC is her, she even has some memories from the past life and they are her own. How can you be jelaous of yourself? In the end MC understood it when she compared past Hue and present Hue - it was still him, she loved both of them the same because both of them carry the same, one Soul ™️

I'm writing all of this because it seriously pissed me off when MC had this bout of jelaousy like Hue's dead girlfirend was some stranger person unrelated to her and she compared the happiness of his past with his happiness in present. Writers also tried very hard to put some questionable lines to Hue's mouth when he said that he loves MC and that he made peace with the goddess death which MC interpreted as:

"Goddess is this different person and I'm me."

The "me" is however, same. In the past, in the present, it's still you, MC. Hue wouldn't love you if you weren't his soulmate, emphasis on soul. To wrap this up (I'm seriously slightly embrassed how lengthy this got) I'd like to cite my favorite quote from TGCF that I find very fitting to this situation:

“The one standing in infinite glory is you; the one fallen from grace is also you. What matters is ‘you’ and not the state of you.”

"What are you doing?! Hey!" Takemura screams out as he sees her unconscious body breathing less and less often, her eyes remaining closed. No...she can't die out here, can not die just yet, she is the only witness left. Takemura grabs her tightly by the shoulders and arms and pins her on her back. Then he starts the revitalization measures that he had rehearsed so well throughout his profession. He stretches his arms and with the help of both hands, he presses them rhythmically and energetically 30 times on her chest, wishing his cybernetics had not been damaged.

With each violent thrust at her chest, he feels a sharp pain in his right shoulder and a new gush of blood running over his skin, weighing down the suit. He, too, had not felt so powerless and defenseless in a long time, but he had learned his whole life to keep a clear mind, even in critical circumstances. He closes his eyes and banishes all the distracting, disturbing and irritating thoughts that were invading his mind. Thirty; he leans down, places his lips on hers and gives two breath donations, quickly checking her pulse after each repetition. At least she is still alive. He repeated the process, like a machine, without giving any thoughts, only the action was a priority. It felt as if an eternity had passed before finally a black car drives around the corner and towards them both.

Takemura quickly opens the door and needs all his strength to drag her across the street to the car and to heave her into the back seat. Climbing over her, he slams the back door full force "Start, driving! We are losing her!" Tires spun and Takemura was thrown onto the seat and against the door, as Delamain made a u-turn at full speed and races toward the city. On a straight track, Takemura is able to stabilize himself again, bending over her and feeling her pulse. "Her pulse is very weak, any medicines or boosters here in the car?"

First, he sits her up, then he begins searching the pockets of the seats, the center console, as well as the glove compartment. "No, but here.." Delamain opens a hidden tray "...is a connection possibility to the personal link, with the help of which we can keep her alive until we reach the desired destination." Takemura pulls the cable out of the opening, checking the side of her neck "Her personal link is damaged.“

Pretty unfortunate, that he was hardly familiar with the current technology in a case like this, nor could he retrieve any information from his augmentations. The appropriate seminar would not have taken place until the end of the year. He sits there with the cable in his hand, not knowing what to do, fatigue slowly creeping into his mind, just like the negative thoughts. He was used to be the one on whom his people could rely on, without a second thought. Who always offered a lending hand to everyone to whom he had given his loyalty to. Now, for the second time today, he probably could not save a life.

Delamain's voice caught his attention and shakes him out of his thoughts. "Please proceed to insert the jack behind her ear, but not too deep. There should be auxiliary neurosockets between her lymph nodes, beneath the SCM muscle." Takemura collects himself once again, if he knew about something, it was the human body in its pristine form. Carefully he tilts her head to the side and lifts her chin. Clamps the cable between his teeth to be able to feel her neck area with the other hand. There, he could feel the lymph nodes very quickly and clearly, they are quite swollen due to her condition, he places the cable next to her head."If I hit a vein by mistake, she will die." He turns his head to Delemain "Indeed, as she will if you do nothing."Okay, I think I have the sockets.""Now proceed to connect."

He connects the cable to the back of her head and immediately a screen opened with the current vital signs. She is stable. Takemura leans back in his seat but keeps an eye on her unconscious body. The fatigue he had suppressed for so long, hits him with full force, as does the pain in his right shoulder and rib area. It feels almost unbearable. "Rest a bit, you are not in such a critical condition as she is. I will wake her once we arrive." and as if Takemura had been waiting for permission, his eyes close and the black nothingness wraps around his senses.

He awakes again as someone shakes him vigorously by the shoulder. In front of him stands a strong, middle-aged man with a metal hand construction. "You must be the ripper doc." Takemura's voice croaks hoarsely. "Indeed, I am, Viktor Vector." Viktor replies hastily and takes Takemura by the hand and helps him out of the car. The sudden pain of the movement forces him to his knees. „You hurt?" Viktor asks, "Just a little bit.." Takemura gasps.

"We need to help her.." He gestures over to her "Oh fuck, Misty come here!" Viktor shouts and runs over to the other side of the car, inspecting V. Takemura pulls himself up, holding onto the car and fights the pain that is getting worse as he made his way to Viktor. "Can you give me a hand?" Viktor groans, who already had his arm around her. Takemura doesn’t answer but simply takes her legs in his hands and begins to carry her out of the garage. However, his strength fails him completely. He couldn't fight the pain anymore, first his hands and arms fail, then his legs. "I cannot hold it!" He bursts out before collapsing on the ground, "I need to rest..." and he just let's go again.

V sees Takemura and Viktor sitting on the ground of a garage, Takemuras head resting on his own shoulders, eyes closed, "Misty!" Someone drags her across the floor with the utmost difficulty and places her on a rise, followed by a mask on her nose and mouth. "It's a neurogenic shock. She is dying" She hears. "Gotta cut my way through the occipital bone. No other way." And nothing again.

Takemura startled when he sits up and pushes away a blanket from his upper body. He inspected it. All wounds seemed to be treated well. His right shoulder was seamed, he moves a bit from left to right, and his rips were stabilized as well. However, his abdomen is still horribly bruised, blue, black, and red spots and stripes stretched across his abdominal muscles to his back. He also has several cuts on his arms, but they were not very deep. He continues to examine the status of his body, stood up to survey how stable he is. To his relief, he feels almost the same as always. Takemura finds a white shirt folded on the chair in front of him, puts it on and sets off to find Viktor and V while buttoning his shirt and rolling up his sleeves.

He finds both of them in the main room. Viktor is sitting at his desk, observing her vital signs. "How is she?" Takemura asks, Viktor slides over to her "Slower on the mend than you, but looking' better every day." Takemura leans over her checking out her body, when he finished examining her he replies confused, "Every day? How long have I been unconscious?"You have been sleeping for two days now. Did her a lot of good though, you're almost back to your former self." Ah shit, Takemura thinks. He still has to report back to Yorinobu Arasaka and come up with a lie to be able to pursue his suspicions quietly. "I have to go, but I will be in touch shortly. Take good care of her." Viktor nods and with one last look at her, Takemura storms out of the building.

If Clotho does look like/exactly like MC...

I want to exchange rather harsh words with Karno. (Leon arguably too but as he doesn't believe in love and he came into the whole Karno granting young MC's wishes a lot later he isn't as involved).

Yes, Karno is the one who tells MC the whole story when Huedhaut is too worried to do so himself in his route, but if they look the same then that means Karno found her far earlier than Hue did.

Unless, hmm... okay this is going massively into headcanon territory now and I don't really have anything to back this up but something just occurred to me whilst typing this:

In Sweet & Spicy, Karno literally says "The Heavens are a cold place lacking even a hint of warmth. It's not the kind of place one would return to by choice."

If he was indeed the one always granting MC's wishes as seems to be implied by his own route then if she does look like Clotho did he maybe mention it to the King (He could well have done because again in Sweet & Spicy it seems one wish he granted went against the rules of the heavens) and the King forbade him from saying anything to the others. Like isn't it unusual for the wishes of one particular person to only reach one of them?

Maybe I'm overthinking this now. 😅

How do you picture Clotho, the goddess of fate, looking?

I imagine her hair blond and wavy. Eyes brown or blue (my brain has still not decided). And dresses in white or royal blue. Idk, I just do. Idk why is that.

I avoided this convo before but now that I've finished Leon's path... massive spoilers below cut you have been warned...

@imhereforscm is right. Specifically before Aigo convinces him not to leave, Leon is semi mulling over whether he should just make Karno Minister and Hue Vice Minister and be done with it.

I'm also guessing him having both the King stars and the Leo ones in his eyes is how he was able to save MC by using the stars from one of his eyes and it not seem to cause him any damage.

Also the other routes? MC either remains Human or becomes a Goddess (when I put my ramble up with the forbidden/blessed meters for Promise of Infinity I wanna talk about that and whether I agree with it or not in that specific path)...

Here though? We've basically got Leon screwing with the rules again.

Cos it finishes with MC still Human... but Immortal. 🤣

Leon becoming the king rambles

I haven't finished the entirety of everyone's stories (I just did the mainstory for all 12) but I've been thinking about Leon's final story where he ascends to the king status.

more info dumping theories below. Also I could be wrong like again I have not finished anyone's story completely pls correct me if im wrong

From what I've seen he becomes king of the heavens and is given a new set of stars (the king star).

It makes me wonder who's taking over as minister of wishes/ruler of leo. He did give MC the Leo constellation for her to become a god iirc. It's funny bcuz its almost like his name correlates to a lion and itd probably get confusing from there. Also MC has aquarius in one of her eyes so I wonder if it just went back to hue after this.

Would Vega or Karno become minister? Would it be MC? Would the departments even be a thing when he's king or would he fundamentally just change everything.

If leon becomes the new king/becomes omnipotent, wouldn't he just be forced to live like the king, always hidden away and alone because he literally sees and knows all. Only left a victim of watching things happen until ppl come up to you for more. Letting curiosity roam free as you have infinite power to do anything. A move of his hand and things are gone. Is he even himself at this point or does the curse of infinite knowledge and power catch up.

This also dives into Leon as a character. He's portrayed as lazy and uninterested (on mondays or smthn) at first. He's also shown as a hard worker and genuinely tries to be just and fair. Whenever a god is in trouble he always makes a stand towards Zyg and the King. Most of his character arc is Leon trying to understand that he can trust MC/other people and that they care for him as a person, not a mighty powerful being. Despite his attitude towards everything, Leon is just a character who has to learn to undo his past ways of thinking that were hurting him and the people around him (and he does healthily learn). Leon's behavior is also very cat-like.

Would he be able to keep all the progress he made in a position similar to where he was most hurt.

He also marries mc and has a kid in that route so ig there's that. From what I've seen he changes a few things to allow everything to go smoothly.

Also to note Star-crossed myth has generally happy endings and is on positive notes most of the time compared to other god media being nitty gritty. I may be reading too deep into this to cope with the bad ending of a new video game. For some reason I really love fics/concepts with the scm gods that are tragic like actual mythology/fairytales

I just consumed a bunch of different media that dealt with characters becoming omnipotent gods and it never ends well.

Most of the times characters who ascend to higher status are just left as watchers, in new forms, only watching what once was and what they once had. No one knows if the previous versions of themselves are still there, or just apart of something bigger now.

There was one fan excerpt where the chars of the show were just yelling at the sky/showing the sky items they bought. They did this hoping to show their old friend who had became an omnipotent god said items, and having no idea if they saw it or not. The ex-partner of the person who ascended also spent a majority of the show trying to speak to them again. Even if they weren't together it was the act of love that stayed.

In a new video game that just came out, theres a character who has a really traumatic backstory and has the option to stop their abuser and 'ascend' to a position like their captor. The entire arc of this specific character relies on them making their own choices for once and not being apart of someones plan, and you as the player have the option to watch them make their choice to ascend or try to change their mind. When this character ascends it literally cursed them into continuing their cycle of abuse and losing themselves in the process. Spent the entire game going through character development only for a ritual to just undo everything hahaha imissthemsomuch one thing ascending did was take away their sense of humor and ability to be nice.

also random hc ill probably draw later is I like to believe that both Zyg and Leon were in line for the throne as kids/young gods. Leon a little more favored bcuz his powers r stated to be strongest, Zyg being older and more responsible at the time.

tldr Leon probably pissed off Zyglavis somehow and Zyg gave leon the 'ultimate punishment' and took himself out of the competition. The punishment being the weight of the crown.

We all know Huedhaut's storyline right? No? Well go read that first before continuing with this post.

Okay, now then, I'll probably cover later just how helpful he is in certain character's Promise of Infinity routes but I thought it might be interesting to look back at the very start of the other 11 Zodiac Gods routes and talk about his initial reactions to which God MC chooses.

Spoilers under cut

Let's start with the other 5 first prologue gods:

LEON

Okay that's Hue's distressed face (that he doesn't appear to be fake-using for once). And considering how wide his eyes are when Leon claims he's worked out what he needs to do... yeah Hue doesn't like that MC has picked Leon at all. Sure later when the others get back to the mansion he's being snarky whilst explaining what exactly is going on, but I'm pretty sure he's the one who pushes MC through the door to her apartment after saying she'd been there long enough today. He was looking for an opening to get her away from Leon without angering Leon like Teorus, Ichthys and Scorpio were doing.

TEORUS

Hue doesn't say much at all at the start of this one aside from lamenting how Teorus must have got lost somewhere again. Maybe he's relieved MC didn't pick Leo? I get the impression from other routes that Hue knows how to handle Teo and they are shift partners after all.

I came back to this one after realising how far in you have to go in the second prologue gods routes to get interaction from Hue and I'd forgotten just how much he does here - not only telling MC about Teo's father but there's also this exchange:

I almost feel like Hue is deliberately trying to push them together to try and make Teo less of a mess. I mean Teo is Hue's working partner and it's also stated that Hue and Leon have known him a long time - it feels like they're rather close to him.

ICHTHYS

Just... 😂😂😂😂

Hue seems pretty bemused here that she picked Ichthys of all the gods. Almost to the extent of which I'm wondering whether he's thinking 'this is totally the type of trouble your previous incarnation would have got into' (It's also even worse if you pick the speechless option and after Teo lays into Hue for that comment reacts with 'it's all I could think of to say' and even that she would have found out anyway lol).

Also the chaos in this bit... only Hue is sensible enough to realise that MC doesn't need to be literally picked up for them to access their powers. (Leon's standing back but the others, sheesh).

DUI

Hmm... well Hue seems to be saying this to make sure the others don't kick up a fuss and aside from this he is mostly in explanation mode here, but it feels rather reluctant as though he doesn't want to accept it. Which considering the truth behind Dui's actions aren't known yet make sense. I will say without knowing how Huedhaut reacts in Sweet & Spicy (warning MC off Dui as 'probably the most dangerous of us here' ) I'm not sure I would have read the above screenshot so negatively.

And then of course there's this a bit later:

Yeah Hue is clearly VERY concerned, at least this early on in Dui's route when no one knows the truth.

SCORPIO

Whilst Hue seems rather frustrated/upset at Scorpio's insulting tone and how rough he is being, when they get back to the mansion Hue actually seems to be the one who tries to calm the bickering between the two departments down initially.

That said, whilst Hue clearly gets annoyed with how Scorpio talks to MC, here he's one of the ones joining in with trying to keep MC at the mansion, which is the opposite to Leon and even his own route.

Okay then, how about the second prologue gods? This is a bit harder as Hue isn't actually in the room when MC picks who she wants to guard her, but perhaps I can extrapolate a little from his first interaction with them during the routes. (This is also probably partly why this post took way longer than I was intending it to 😅 )

KARNO

Warning! Major spoiler!

Both Tauxolouve and Huedhaut seem rather resigned here that Karno was obviously going to get his way over taking this somewhat ill-advised trip, but Hue's main interaction here isn't so much about her and Karno going away together like this, but more he clearly suspects that Karno doesn't have the right mindset to destroy the servants of the underrealm no matter what - and it turns out he's right on that.

That said, now I'm wondering which gods would have carried out the king's orders and destroyed Crow and Sevillah here even though it would have also meant killing Hiyori - or which others would also have listened to MC and ignored their mission in order to save her friend. 🤔 That might be a topic for another time. (Although my immediate thought here is if the first prologue gods had stories for this part Teorus would have saved Hiyori - though we'd have had a problem if it was a male co-worker of MC's that was in danger. 🤦‍♀️)

Also, there's this:

MC thinks Hue is making fun of her, but I'm not so sure. And for Hue's teasing to come to the fore like this he must be pretty happy at this point.

And one final aside with Karno: I didn't want to get into the Promise of Infinity stuff just yet but from what I recall, Hue was the one trying his hardest to smooth things over with Leon.

TAUXOLOUVE

Lou's main story doesn't have much interaction with the others at all and what is there is 1) towards the end and 2) mostly to do with the current danger at that time. Hue's words here aren't anything to do with them, or how things are fairing, but more to do with what the others are dealing with. He's barely in this part.

Which considering the distance Lou puts between himself and others does somewhat make sense even if there had been more interaction - though I'm somewhat interested that when Lou is really injured Aigo is the only one who voices concern.

So let's go to Lou's bonus story:

Yup a cutting witty remark about Lou's previous habits but Hue does seem happy for them - he certainly doesn't seem to mind how hard MC is finding it not to let her emotions show on her face.

AIGONORUS

Whilst Huedhaut seems rather exasperated that Aigo doesn't even seem to know why they've all appeared rather in a panic, his reaction to Aigo's 'excuse' is interesting. He's clearly realised that it's an excuse (I think Karno did too) but this response seems to imply he's also got an inkling as to why.

Quite frankly, judging by how Aigo's Promise of Infinity goes, I could possibly argue that if Hue isn't with MC, Aigo is the other he's happiest to let her be with. But I said I'd cover that later didn't I? Sorry. 😅

Also, as an aside: In the prologue where Aigo is being typical falling asleep Aigo - even though it was Karno who was introducing the gods to MC, it's Hue who leaps in to introduce MC to him. 🤔

ZYGLAVIS

Hmm... like Lou's story, Hue isn't in this one until really late. But I do note when Zig says he wants to step down from guarding, Hue isn't trying to get him to change his mind but instead is pointing out to Leon that they need to pick a new guard as quickly as possible.

(Also this isn't really relevant to this post but I just want to point out: Leon doesn't say MC should have picked a Wishes god in the first place but that she should have picked Karno or Lou. Leon do you not trust your best friend (Aigonorus) to protect her? (I mean you're not wrong but 😂 )

Despite the above, this is from the start of Zig's epilogue:

Maybe Hue is bemused at Zig of all gods being the one to break the 'don't love one human more than others' rule, or maybe he's thknking now Zyglavis knows how he felt as to why he broke the rules of the heavens himself.

Zig and Hue's relationship is really complicated isn't it?

KRIOFF

This is the one second prologue one where there's a reaction right at the start from some of the first prologue gods but Hue isn't among them - I dunno whether that's cos he's already left like in other paths or what, but both Leon and Dui seem rather concerned with MC's choice here. (They're the only two with a reaction though so I'm rather curious as to what exactly was going on at the start of Krioff's - I'm sure the second prologue implied the first prologue gods had to leave to carry out the king's orders before MC made her choice so it's odd that any of them were still there in Krioff's route. If all of them were there why only those two who react? Ahem, sorry, I'm getting off track here. 😅 )

After the incident here, we get this which is interesting:

Teo was looking for an explanation and Hue shut that down. As Dui said about emotions affecting Krioff could he be worried there'd still be an issue there? On the other hand, Hue doesn't leap in and argue that Krioff should no longer guard MC like Leon and even Karno in this instance do (And it's actually Tauxolouve who is being the gentle reassuring take your time one here) but doesn't either agree with Dui who wants Krioff to have a second chance.

The fact that MC thinks that Wishes get on better with Krioff than others in punishments is interesting though and makes me wonder whether if nothing else Hue would be happier with him with MC than Partheno or Zyglavis. But as to what we actually have here? It seems rather neutral.

What people think of Partheno is rather complicated when you know his power whilst he's still a demon.

I will note that Hue is the first to bring up that they should change the way they're guarding MC but on the other hand he was also the one being suspicious of Scorpio and joining in with the God's arguing.

I had to load Partheno's sequel to even get any real comment from Huedhaut (I didn't re-read all of Partheno's main but I'm pretty sure after the above they don't see the other gods again until after Partheno is attacking the heavens), and, well:

I don't think Hue is happy with this at all. Though he might not be quite as irritated as Aigo. And now I'm suddenly thinking about an Huedhaut/MC/Aigo fic... would that be weird? 🤔😅

One final note: Hue's own route? It's not happiness that she picked her, or relief that she didn't pick any one else, but his mind imediately goes to how can I make Leon think she's of no use to us and let her get back to her human life? Because he doesn't think she'll remember her previous incarnation (and at that precise moment that is correct, she doesn't) he would rather her continue to be happy and know that the soul of the love of his life is safe than drag her back into stuff involving the heavens. Even though in Prelude to Fate special story he was pleading with the king that Earth is not a place where he could reflect even more so than the others, he's more interested in keeping her out of it than anything that would have helped him.

I may change my mind when I re-read everything properly rather than just odds and ends like here but a very basic attempt at ordering which situations Huedhaut would be the happiest (least unhappy?) about happening:

Aigonorus

Karno

Tauxolouve

Teorus

Ichthys

Krioff

Dui

Partheno

For the most part I feel like he would favour the other Wishes Gods even if the Punishments v Wishes thing isn't as fractured as they sometimes claim. That said he is clearly worried about her picking Leon and much less so about Ichthys, hence Ichthys going slightly higher here (and to be frank I could possibly see him higher here - there's a great exchange in Teo's route that I stumbled on that's giving me Hue/Ichthys vibes again 😅 ). What I'm probably least sure in this list is which way round Lou and Teo would be - Hue is clearly closer to Teo (well Lou did deliberately distance himself from everyone after all) but on the other hand Teo's main story has things in it that I'm sure wouldn't sit well with Hue. Karno as well to an extent - I feel like my second placing for him may be more to do with how he and Hue interact in other routes and some of the special stories.

The other one who is complicated is Zyglavis - I'd imagine Hue would know he'd keep her safe but at the same time though Hue and Zig seem rather similarly logically focussed how they interpret that seems to make their somewhat similar personalities clash at times.

I also suspect this list might change the further in the route you get but this post was supposed to be Hue's initial impressions (I may have got carried away when I went back to some of the first prologue gods after realising how late on he appears in some of the second prologue gods routes 😅 I could go deeper on the others but it looks like I started this draft around a week ago so I should probably post this before it gets any longer than it already has.)

Hopefully this rambling post somehow made sense and made some thoughts clear and was interesting. 😅

ok so like, ya know how in the end of ichthys’ season 2, the mc turns into a goddess and it’s confirmed (in the forbidden ending) that he became immortal again? i’m really happy about that, but i have this feeling that if voltage ever releases a sequel/season 3 for him they’ll pull some shit to make him mortal again, and i swear to whatever deity that rules the universe, if they do that i’ll stab a bitch

another ramble but I really wish scm had consistent writers esp when it comes to Huedhaut and Leon. Spoilers for Hue and Leon's routes too btw

Playing through Hue's side stories (the ones on the app sadly). You find out that Leon was the last person Clotho saw before she died bcuz she made Leon promise to take care of Hue. Leon and Karno took care of Hue through Clotho's death and kinda made him? go back to work eventually. It's one of the reasons why I didn't like Leon at first (he grew on me I love pathetic cat men. Him saving the mf goldfish in his route sealed the deal.) The writing from Hue's route to Leon's route just makes Leon look like a douchebag knowing that about Hue/Clotho, supporting Hue through it, and then knowing it during his route. The best takes on the inconsistent writing in the game is that every character route is just an alternate universe where some things apply some don't. But Huedhaut still acknowledges MC in other routes too just by supporting her and saying he just wants her to be happy.

Leons route is super weird too bcuz in most playthroughs, he goes through his 'redemption arc to become king and learn his powers' in every route just by seeing MC be friends with everyone. Leon breaks every law in the heavens like 3 times and the king is like 'ur good bro dw' but huedhaut just turns to the direction of mc and natural disasters start happening.

In Leon's marriage story, he gave MC the Leo constellation for her to be a goddess bcuz he got the king star eyes whatever, but where did the AQUARIUS STARS IN HER 1 EYE GO.

Anyways I support slander for every god and character and I simply just hc them as a fucked up polycule /j /lh

I just think zygs would be really impressed and surprised by furinas strength and resolve to play the role of a god as a mere human for 500 years to save her people...and dare i say even leon would spare a compliment or two like "didnt know a goldfish could be so capable, youve surpassed my expectations ;)" but anyway erm hi scm fandom...i swear ill return to you at some point!
