OOOO THIS IS A GOOD ONE!!!! TY FOR ASKING ANON!!!! Short, like really short for my standards, but you'll like it. It’s based on this one scene from Revolutionary Girl Utena I like, it gives them vibes.

Ask game

"Have you ever heard of cantarella?" Vetrix softly asks, pouring some tea into a far too fancily crafted teacup. It’s a quarter past 2, and they’re sitting in the lab. It feels almost alien now, but at least things are back to normal (at least as normal as they can be).

“Cantarella? Would you mind telling me?” He picks up the freshly brewed tea, pressing it to his lips.

“It was something used by the Borgia family in Italy a long, long time ago. I learned it while traveling.” Vetrix reaches for the plate of cookies besides Faker, taking one for himself. “A poison.”

“So, how do like the tea?” There’s silence for a few minutes, just the sounds of the record player thats been skipping the same sequence of notes for well over half an hour. “I made them myself, it’s quite hard to bake with this body now.”

“I hope they don’t taste funny.”

Silence. Still silence. Until it is broken by Faker uttering the words.

“What a coincidence. I poisoned those cookies.” He’s met by the sudden, soft embrace of him. Vetrix doesn’t expect it, but it’s far too warm and inviting to reject. “You don’t say.”

“So, what do you think?”

“Their delicious.” And he keeps chewing. “So’s the tea.”

Hiiii kanamori! I just want to start by saying IM SORRY IT TOOK ME AGES TO GET BACK TO YOU PLEASE FORGIVE MEEEE

Ohhhh Tron! He's a character I posted a few times about in my blog but I haven't really got into how I feel about him so this is a really interesting character suggestion! So here lays my truest thoughts on Byron/Tron.

•How do I feel about this character

Omg, I have a love/hate relationship with him?? There is a part of me who thinks he's one of the best villains of Zexal, he's an evil freckin gremlin and he's so funny and just wanna squeeze him to death, but then there is a part of me who wants to squish him like a bug and wants to see him being obliterated.

Do I hate him because of episode 54? Not really, I hate him like in a funny kind of way, I like to make memes of Droite flipping him off or just stepping on him but that's it really, oh but I have a visceral hate for the writers absolutely! Tron is just a silly old deadbeat dad manchild whose not in fault for writer's questionable writing when it comes to women and their pleasure in utterly humiliating them but that's that.

Also I find it interesting that he took this childlike form, has a childish behaviour while having a calculative and calm demeanor of an adult at the same time?? It really makes his character very fun and he definitely teases Faker and Kazuma about his youth while they get wrinkles every year.

ALSO CAN WE TALK ABOUT TRON'S VISCERAL HATE FOR HIS SECOND SON IV??? I FIND IT SO FUNNY AND THE MEMES ARE GOLD BUT LIKE OMG IV IS BETTER THAN ME CAUSE I WOULD NEVER RECOVER FROM THAT.

•All the people you ship romantically with this character

Let's start with HOW THIS MAN IS SO FVCKIGN GAY FOR FAKER??? Like he goes through the effort to make him coffee because of how stressed Faker is and Faker destroys the cup AND HE STILL REMAINS COMPOSED AND CALM, that's like... toxic level of simping right there, yes, this man is a fvcking simp and his decision as Tron to still save his life and work with the man lured him and pushed him off a cliff, betrayed him, left his sons orphan, made him go through hell, AND ALL IT TOOK TO FORGIVE HIM WAS FAKER'S SORRY ASS AND THEM FLOATING IN THE BACKGROUND JUST BEING GAY ASF, yes, at this point no matter what Faker does, this man is gonna come back to him because that's just how much he's gay for him. Like look at him how he keeps showering Faker with compliments to Kazuma while Faker is not there to listen LIKE??? And they both lost their wife, just saying, more trauma bonding and free gay to roam idk

And the revenge plan of Byron, you know what they say, the greatest hate comes from deepest love, and just when his toxic bf apologies showing remorse, he goes back back to him just like that

In conclusion, Byron is super gay for Faker, like on a toxic level gay, but I guess that makes it hot.

•My non-romantic OTP for this character

OTP would sound weird so let's just say any non-romantic relationship, I guess that would be with his sons and I guess I'm mostly influenced by the fandom memes and his hatred for his second son, they are all funny and sometimes makes me really wish for a romcom for the Arclight family.

I also love his friendship with his old buddies Kazuma and Faker and idk maybe should all go for a gay bonding trip again

•My unpopular opinion about this character

Honestly I'm not sure about this one, I think we all agree he was the best villain in Zexal I

I think he should have appeared more in Zexal II, is that an unpopular opinion?

•One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character

Like I said before, I really want a romcom of Arclight family and them just interacting with one another they are so funny

Also I will hate the writers forever for pretending that Droite and Tron never dueled, BRUH, LET THEM EXCHANGE ONE CONVERSATION? ONE TINY BIT? NO? FVCK. YOU. WRITERS. There was this fanfic where all the people gather to the W.D.C. party (before the Tournaments start) to the next year one and they have such a funny exchange and I FEEL ROBBED.

And I just wanted to see him brew more chaos in Zexal II while he barely appeared, I really want to know how he would play out in Zexal III.

Dear Jamie,

Happiest of White Days. Forgive me for taking as long as I have to perfect my response; not only was I unaware of the tradition of returning a Valentine's Day gift, but you must understand that I'm new to such grand displays of affection. Still, for you, I'll try virtually anything at least once.

As for my favorite thing about Fae, well, there are many wonderful things about them. However, I think my favorite thing about them has to be their kindness and determination! They give everything their all, and I admire that about them! They’re also incredibly sweet to others as well!

12. Sexuality hc!

Vetrix has always been very gay to me. I always see people with these headcanons of him having a wife or smth but honestly I CANNOT see him with a woman. He’s very unashamedly a boykisser. His kids are all test tube babies, he’d sooner de-transition than willingly sleep with a woman.

He gets kind of weird around woman, kind of a mysognist because of internalized transphobia he needs to get over. Doesn’t excuse it but he’s trying </3

And technically not a sexuality hc but he’s very transmasc to me (or agender, depends on how I feel)! He uses He/They/It/Xe + Neos because why the fuck not. I like headcanoning old men as trans!! Just come and stop me >:3

7. A quote of them you remember

It’s either, “Maybe I’m just a bad dad!”, or “Your father always talked about friendship, and it only ended up being his undoing.” I might be misquoting that second one but its f the Shark Vs Quattro duel and it TORE MY HEART APART??? FUCKING CRIES????

5. Favourite Ship

Fathershipping, undoubtably. I know Most sub Fans are crazy about scientistshipping (which I do ship, to a lesser scale) but I find Fathershipping cuter. It’s funnier because the dub leans farther into Fathershipping and the sub leans more into scientistshipping. For context in episode 55, when Byron and Kazuma sit by the fire he makes a comment about faker being a good friend, but in the dub it’s changed so that Kazuma talks about how much of a good friend Byron is or smth to that effect. Funny detail I noticed :3

Like. Byron literally ASKS Kazuma to let him go into the portal (where he could’ve presumably died) because he wanted him to be safe instead of him. It takes SO MUCH to want to die for someone. There were also two tents in episode 55. THEY ARE LITERALLY IMPLIED TO HAVE SLEPT TOGETHER AUGHHH

I could go on a bigger tangent in another post (which I’m sure I have), but I just think their sweet.

Also I Hope I don’t get in trouble for this but their dynamic post-Barian world/astral world is just that one image of a hamster trying to eat a whole banana. Yes im implying what you think I am. Don’t ask

23. Future Headcanon

You know how Vetrix wasn’t reverted back to his original body? And how he’s just this stupid little baby man who has to go through puberty again? Yeah. He grows up into the most INSUFFERABLE (albeit like 50 year old) teenager, starts listening to Linkin Park and finally gets his drivers license for like the second time. He’s still very boykisser tho!! Tbh it’s only really exacerbated because hormones

28. The most unnecessary thing they did?

The whole possessing Shark thing. As much as I think him gaslighting Shark into thinking the evil homophobic rat killed his sister, what was the point lol. Like he could’ve stopped faker without Shark either way??

Also on another point but I have an issue with how Zexal villains are just treated as borderline evil until their redeemed and just do nothing of substance again. Vetrix is one of the worst cases of this. I could go off about this more in another post if asked.

3. A song that reminds you of them?

Not just one song! I have a whole playlist of songs that remind me of him :3 Take a listen if you want!!

mouse: What gets your f/o get shy or quiet or flustered?

I find it so that compliments usually gets Apollo the most flustered when around me. Whenever I point out something I really like about him, or generally gush to him about how much I love him, he tends to get red faced and nervous! It’s absolutely adorable and just makes me want to shower him in love and praise even more than before!

I also noticed that truly,,, kisses are his downfall! Rightfully so, because they’re my weakness as well! If we were to just give eachother gentle pecks, we always find ourselves feeling the touch linger on our skin,,, we’re actually really similar in that case! I love giving him adorable ‘mwah’ kisses along his jaw and cheeks, but I also love just giving him deep and passionate kisses on his lips. Feeling his breath ghost against mine as his face heats up completely.
