Been f1 fan since I was little and 2020 got into f2 which was the slippery slope of schullot - > Marcus - > screaming meals when it first started as a food blog - > James clem truther. I honestly don't know why the first thing that came to mind is them playing a tournament of boardgames together?

Like Mick losing at Monopoly ("I spend half the game in PRISON Callum!") and being so grumpy, but then Callum loses at Cluedo and Mick is back to being smug af ("You guessed the murder weapon was the trophy?? I thought you were smarter than that Callum")

But then eventually, after it's already like 3am and neither is motivated to play another game, they call a truce although they will both be claiming to be the overall winner. And then right before they go to bed Mick just smiles and kisses Callum softly like "Maybe we are both winners because we found each other" and Callum just chuckles cos he is so cheesy (but then ofc allows Mick to be the little spoon for once)

OH YES for sure.

so we all should know about the makkinen and sewis parallels, the respectful rivals for the WDC. the way they are fighting for the biggest price of them all wanting to beat everyone else but 'to you I'd be willing to loose it' energy.

Michael wanting to beat everyone but asking Mika how he passed him in Spa even when he lost. Seb being the first to congratulate Lewis on his WDC even after he beat Seb.

and all of that can be applied to to the schullott rivalry. mick's "I am happy that it was you that I was racing against, because if you’d have won, I’d have been happy for you."

that, I can hear mika and seb saying that exact quote too and I can see mick being that kind of champion too if he does win it against charles at merc. the one where they're glad it was them because that made it fun because the other made it a worthy championship.

I can talk about either of these three relationships for hours but I'll keep it to this for now.
