I challenged her to match my fletching/wrap colors and she nailed it. I got a matching bino strap also, which is as functional as it is cool, way more comfortable than the strap that came with my Vortex Binoculars. 2Smooth vs. Silverback. I feel comfortable switching between the two. Once I got back home from Nockville I make some adjustments to my 2Smooth so that it was faster. I edited the videos down so that the start as soon as I start my shot process. The shot is breaking about the same time with each release, and the arrows are hitting the same holes. I’m very happy with this. Anzère winter 3D archery tournament January 12, 2019. An unforgettable experience! Sprained my left ankle on the 2nd target. I still had 26 targets left. Lost my balance because of the pain and fell down several times. A close call from falling backwards from a high shooting spot when the powder snow suddenly collapsed under my right leg. Had to fight through the shooting pain on my left ankle throughout the tournament. And on top of that I lost my Nock On Silverback release! 😭Amidst all the issues I trudged on and I did it! This release knob from @archers_3d is LEGIT!!! I have ordered 3D printed knobs from SEVERAL companies and this by far is the most finished product I have seen yet. There’s just another level of quality craftsmanship on every side of this thing. I love the size and how it fits on the Nock2it. All the edges are smooth, and both ends and nicely finished. Blinders are not just for cross eye dominance issues. I am right eye dominant and right handed, but I was struggling seeing the target with both eyes open. @nockontv talked about shooting with both eyes open during the #schoolofnock last winter, so I made my own blinder to try it out. It helped so much I bought an official one from @lancasterarchery just a few weeks later. I shoot most of my practice with this blinder on, it helps me see the target much clearer, and is training my brain to accept shooting with both eyes open. Since I have been blank bailing with no sight on my bow this winter, I haven’t worn it much, but thanks to the homework this week I dug it out of my bow case and started wearing it again! Also, I was REALLY struggling keeping my front shoulder down this morning. New Bow 🤘🏻🔥 Since doing the #schoolofnock last winter I have really wanted a lower pound bow so I can shoot more and more often without over working my body. I lucked out and found this Hoyt Double XL on eBay for a great price. I plan to set this up as basically a “target” version of my hunting setup, or essentially a “practice” bow.
