ok so my school just caught fire

story time- i was sitting in lunch and everybody noticed the smoke coming from the ceiling and so nobody was surprised when the fire alarm went off. i of course was upset because i just printed off like 14 chapters of my fanfiction and left outside with about 20 kids who had grabbed their trays and made a break to the exit. suddenly a girl pushed right by me with a chicken strip in her mouth and then paused screamed “my phone!” and ran back inside the burning building. children then began going to their cars and blasting music while i and a choice few hid in one of the teachers cars and locked the owners out of the car. i feel like this so accurately describes america right now and thats my story
