(1) Sunda Kelapa or old colonial port area. The Dutch colonial architecture is very reminiscent of those in Aruba and Curaçao in the Caribbean. (2) Old Dutch bridge at Sunda Kelapa. (3) This magnificent art-deco building "De Majestic" dates to the 1920s and was the favourite cinema for the Dutch colonial elite, playing mostly western films. It was designed by the famous Dutch architect Schoemaker. On top, the Javanese Batara Kala or God of the Underworld looks straight into your soul. (4) Café in the famous Braga street, Bandung. The café is, like most buildings in the street and in the city centre, built in the colonial Dutch-Indies Art-Deco style.

FAKTA UNIK:

Diawali tahun 1894, saat C.A. Hellerman menempati rumah bilik kecil, di sebuah jalan kampung, yg kedua sisinya banyak pohon rindang & tinggi, tak ada satu pun rumah tembok,  namanya Jl. Wangsalapi (skrng Jl. Braga), di situlah ia mulai menjalankan  usahanya,penjualan & reparasi senjata.

Toko Hellerman, CARL AUGUST HELLERMAN ternyata toko kelontong pertama yg dibangun di kawasan Braga dgn menara kembar di ke 2 sisinya (thn 1894-1896) awalnya tempat LES SEPEDA + menjual sepeda, spare part kereta kuda & senjata pisau & api,menjual senapan senjata api (bengkel reparasi) & peluru, asesoris delman kereta kuda ( bel yg di injak) + workshop beroperasi hingga thn 1950. Hellerman membangun bbrp toko lainnya + diperjualbelikan Sebagian bangunan Toko Hellermab menjadi toko tabaksplant yg menjual bermacam tembakau, pipa rokok & rokok

Dulu aslinya Bangunan Hellerman mempunyai 2 menara, satu menara bagian utara & satu lagi menara selatan Di salahsatu menara tsb,arsitek Wolff Schoemaker bersembunyi selama zaman Jepang tanpa tertangkap. Tahun 1958 menara selatan terbakar (saat direnovasi stlh kebakaran thn 1958 menara selatan tdk dibangun lagi, tinggal 1 menara)

Kemudian bangunan itu terbagi-bagi, seperti sekarang ini: Satu bangunan ditempati restoran Hongkong, 'Binuwa", -toko batu 'Batu Rezeki'. bangunan yg tdt menara utara dipakai Modern Foto hingga thn 1998. "Sesudah krismon gedung itu tak berpenghuni, pohon2 liar di atapnya tumbuh sampai sekarang.

Villa Isola (sekarang Bumi Siliwangi) adalah sebuah bangunan art-deco di bagian utara Bandung, ibu kota provinsi Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Menghadap ke lembah dengan pemandangan kota, Villa Isola selesai dibangun pada tahun 1933 oleh arsitek Belanda Wolff Schoemaker untuk taipan media Belanda Dominique Willem Berretty, pendiri agen pers Aneta di Hindia Belanda. Tujuan awal bangunan itu adalah untuk rumah pribadi Berretty, tetapi kemudian diubah menjadi hotel setelah kematiannya dan sekarang berfungsi sebagai kantor rektorat Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
