Introducing my new orphan wererat girlie, Schilalyi! She's a lawful good phantom rogue trained in medicine, who has a lot of empathy for others in a similar situation. I tried something new for the rendering on this one and took inspiration from the Dishonored art, specifically the art by Cedric Peyravernay. I had a lot of fun with it! And I'm really happy with the result! I also had a lot of fun giving her ratty features ^-^ Like what I do? You can tip me on ko-fi! My commissions are also open! Everything linked in bio!

Note
The first child is named Schilalyi and she's a mouse centipede creature.
She's very messie and unorganized and is never able to sit still always scurrying about, she doesn't talk but instead communicates through high pitched squeaking sounds, while she has human level intellect she also has several mouse like instincts, like to run in a wheel or eat cheese. She is the youngest of the kids.
Aweeee!!! Critter!!!! Giving her cheese

As we scrambled to figure out how to stop these emerging titans, a part of our research fell on the dead leviathan itself. They were the first of these great beasts, and its death seemed to have some kind of connection to these monsters. We collected its blood and flesh, which there was certainly plenty of, and went to work. We were hoping that maybe there was some kind of secret locked within this dead meat, a crucial weakness that we could discover and use to topple these new titans. Sadly, we did not find a secret weapon, but we did find answers. Within the blood, we stumbled across a bizarre compound or substance, we had no idea what to label it. It was unlike anything we had ever seen before, stumping scientists and leaving us clueless on how to even categorize it. However, its bizarre nature gave us a pretty strong hint that this substance had something to do with what was happening to our world. Study of samples collected from the various other titans soon proved us correct, as we found the same exact compound within them. There was a difference, though, that proved crucial in our understanding. The substance inside the likes of Melalo and Tculo was built into their very tissue, serving as its foundation and fuel. What we collected from the leviathan flowed freely through its blood, as if it was pumped through every vein and artery. Looking at this, we believed that the compound in the other titans was building itself into their bodies, resulting in the bizarre growths and mutations. On the other hand, it appeared to be natural to the leviathan, living freely in its veins and flesh. The massive carcass wasn't just another owner of this bizarre substance, but the source of it all. Further study of the samples showed direct links from all the living titans, connecting each one to this dead beast. They did not create this substance themselves, they gained it from the flesh and blood of the leviathan's corpse. This was quite the breakthrough, as we now understood where these creatures were coming from, but it did not bring joy or celebration. It brought clarity, showing us how incredibly screwed we were.
The blood held the substance that birthed these beasts, and it had spent the last few weeks flowing through the streets and dumping into the ocean. The dead flesh also contained this powerful fuel, and it had already been dined upon by hundreds of ravenous animals. What wasn't eaten was blown to bits, as we had used controlled explosives to break apart the leviathan for easier hauling. The source of our misery was at last found, long after we sprayed it across the countryside and served it to every beast for miles around. With only four of these monstrosities appearing since this blood had run free, it appeared that the chances of mutation were quite low. Unfortunately, we already found that even one of these titans was more than we could handle. Even if more did not emerge, the four we already had would cause plenty of death and destruction. So we had to move fast and destroy this plague before it could spread even more. Everything we had was rolled out to the site of the original battle and used to scrub the place clean. With the rampage of the kaiju spreading chaos and the endless rot that clung to the entire city, we decided to condemn the whole metropolis. No way people were ever moving back into that place, especially since it was now the epicenter for one of the most powerful mutagens we had ever seen. Despite protests and furious property owners, we set the town ablaze, hoping that the flames would destroy the flesh and blood before it could fuel another titan. The surrounding waters were also sterilized, pumping poison into the ocean to eradicate any creature that could have been infected. This scorched earth policy was certainly controversial, but we had no other choice. We couldn't take the chance that it would bring to life even more horrors. We couldn't tell if our efforts worked, as it was too early to make that call. All we could do was sit and wait. Would another beast rise from that burning town, proving that we could not stop this plague? That did not happen, but that was because fate was cruel. It was not born from this ashen graveyard, it was instead created by our own hands. Explaining the origins of the titans was not the only thing that this substance provided. Having already shown what it could do to mere scavengers, many folk grew interested in its potential. This compound could do the impossible and easily surpassed all of our own man made chemicals. What more could it do when we got our hands on it? When we first discovered it, we were too focused on finding a weakness of these giant creatures to really acknowledge what we had found. After some time, we soon realized its potential, and its danger. We had no idea what it could truly do, or what man could turn it into. There was talk of locking this substance down and preventing others from getting their hands on it. Destroy it, ban it, anything to make sure it wasn't meddled with. Sadly, our voices were drowned out. Governments and corporations were ecstatic at the idea of being the first to unlock its secrets, as well as harness its power. Also, our efforts to learn more about the titans had resulted in us allowing pretty much everyone to take samples for study. We couldn't stop them now that every major lab in the world had gallons of the stuff in their fridges. While we raced for the secret to destroy these titans, the rest of the scientific and corporate world hurried to unlock the potential of the substance known as A.N.A. The name of this compound was born from the scribbled notes of the scientist who first discovered its presence, having jotted a frantic note about an "Anomalous Nucleic Aggregation." With news of its power reaching every corner of the globe, every government and company in the world was trying to wield it. Some claimed it could make giant crops that could end world hunger (as if that was why we hadn't stopped that by now), others said that it could do wonders in the medical field (with no clarification of who would actually benefit from this), and so many more outrageous ideas. The one that stuck out to us most of all, though, were the few who said that A.N.A. could be the very weapon we were looking for to stop the titans. If bullets and missiles couldn't bring down these great foes, then why not fight fire with fire? We all knew where that line of thinking would go, but sadly we had no way to stop it from happening.
One research group (belonging to a company we are not legally allowed to name) went forth with this moronic idea, thinking that A.N.A. could be used to create bioweapons strong enough to take down the kaiju (and probably some countries they didn't like). They used the collected blood of the leviathan to filter out the substance and concentrate it. Refining it to its purest form, they attempted to alter its properties so that they could control its mutative power. These experimental batches of altered A.N.A. were then injected into lab mice to see what would happen. Obviously, most of them died. They did not reveal the numbers, but I am sure hundreds, if not thousands, of those little critters perished during the testing phase. However, not all of them died. Out of all their efforts, one mouse was able to survive the initial injection. It was known as Mouse #317, and she was regarded as a success. Only a few days after the first dose, she gained an impossible amount of mass, growing far larger than any rodent on this earth. They believed that it was a sign that they cracked the code, that they mastered A.N.A., but further attempts on other mice led to just more deaths. Apparently there was something unique about Mouse #317 that allowed her to survive the exposure to A.N.A., just like how a few scavengers mutated while the others perished. This, obviously, would call for a study on this specimen to determine what was the factor that decided growth instead of death. This research did not have time to occur, as the mouse's growth was starting to go out of control. It wasn't just a change in size, but her very body was mutating. These horrible changes caused her great pain, driving her to violent fits. With her size and strength, the restraints and cages failed to contain her agony, and she broke free. Once out of her prison, she was faced by alarms and armed guards, which only caused the pained mouse to flee. Despite numerous attempts to sedate or stun her, she escaped the facility and vanished. No one thought that a mouse the size of a cow could disappear, but no one could find her. The tracking device they implanted in her was not responding, perhaps destroyed as the body morphed and changed. It didn't help that the lab was isolated far from prying eyes and no one was about to admit that a mutated experiment was loose. So Mouse #317 was gone, and when she reappeared, more things had changed than just her name. When she was first spotted, we didn't know her origin, so we had assumed it was just another blood born titan. She gained the name "Schilalyi," and that name stuck even after the reveal, since Mouse #317 isn't really catchy. She was found in an abandoned industrial district, living amongst the rusted factories and crumbling pipelines. It seems a final burst in growth was what revealed her, as she burst through the empty facility she had been hiding in. It was obvious that she was originally a mouse, but her anatomy had radically changed. Her head was massive, almost the same size as her body. Her snout had elongated and burst open with bony spines, and we have seen no evidence of a mouth. Most strikingly was her limbs, which had grown and split into a flailing network of paws. Even her tail formed some kind of bizarre hand, always clutching and grabbing at the air. Since she had appeared in an abandoned district, thankfully the number of people in danger were quite low. That isn't to say that no one died, as people certainly did. When news copters and armed forces rushed to the scene, she panicked and ran, which involved plowing through multiple buildings. Her snout seems quite useful in drilling through concrete, steel and dirt, and that was what allowed her to rip through factories with ease. Her many legs also helped her scramble over the environment, never tripping as she skittered over street, rail and house. Efforts to take her down were fruitless, as not enough forces were around to do any real damage and she was simply too fast. For something so big, she moved at incredible speeds, making it difficult to give chase. The best we could do was direct her flight and make her flee the city, away from the people and businesses. It was only a few weeks after this first sighting that the lab responsible for her creation contacted us and filled us in. For whatever reason, it took them a long time to fess up. Probably had to go through the board of directors thirty times for them to determine how bad this would affect their shares. At least their confession gave us a good idea of what was going on, and how dangerous it was tampering with A.N.A. It also did explain some of the odder things about Schilalyi.
There was an odd thing noted when Schilalyi first made a scene, and it was from an unlikely source. The first to respond to her emergence was a couple news outlets, scrambling to the site before the military quarantined the area. Copters took to the area and buzzed around her like flies, armed with cameras instead of guns. One of these copters was apparently also used for weather reports and such, and thus they were the first to note a severe change in temperature. Somehow, the area around Schilalyi was much colder, with a difference in tens of degrees. After learning of this detail, thermal cameras were aimed at her, and we could see that she indeed seemed to emanate an aura of cold. Perhaps the correct way to describe it was that she was sucking the heat from the air and environment around her. Theories have started to suggest that this method was how she fueled herself, since she was now lacking a mouth. Perhaps she absorbed heat and turned it into energy, resulting in the air growing chilly. This is the favorite guess so far, as it has been shown several times that bursts of movement or emotional moments cause her to increase her heat absorption. It seems that desperate times call for more energy, so she creates an even colder field. An attempt to kill her caused her to fall into a frenzy, which resulted in temperatures plummeting below zero. While it may seem like a weak power compared to the other titans, do recall that a lot of things don't do well when exposed to such a sudden temperature change. It can get so bad that her touch can cause things to freeze, causing metal and flesh to turn brittle and shatter. It makes tracking her easy, as you just follow the cold spots, but unfortunately we cannot do much past that. Though she lacks armor or slime, she is incredibly fast and is able to quickly heal from injury. Blowing off a limb just means she will grow back another, or two. Her heat absorption may help with that, pulling in energy to mend her wounds. The other problem is that she is no simple animal, as Schilalyi may be smarter than we think.
Her origin as a lab mouse also helps hint at some peculiar behaviors of hers. All the other titans follow animalistic urges, like building a nest or just finding food and water. Schilalyi acts differently, though she does have her normal needs. After she fled from her factory home, a team went into the rubble to search for any clues. Amongst the mess, they noticed that parts and pieces of the industrial plant had been pulled apart, rearranged and even sorted. Piles of equipment had been purposefully placed, while areas of the factory had been cleared out and set up. It seemed that she had some sort of task in mind, but never got to finish it, if there was indeed a goal in sight. Even after she was left to roam, she has an odd urge to enter urban areas, particularly places with iron and steel. You would think she would love the wilderness after a life in a cage, but it seems to be the opposite. She keeps showing up in cities and towns, and quickly gets to work. Her many hands grab and pull apart random structures, rearranging them just so or carrying them to somewhere else. When left alone in an industrial district, she was observed building up a pile of tubes and pipes. After she was done, she looked around in an expecting way, as if waiting for something to happen. Another time she was seen racing around the winding streets of a city, tearing around the place like she was rabid. After navigating this maze of buildings she came across a rounded structure and smashed it with her legs. Once it was pushed into the ground, she once again sat and waited, looking around as if she was expecting someone. Time and time again, she shows these odd behaviors, performing some kind of task or job that only she knows. Now that we have found her to be a lab mouse, we think that something in her past life as remained after the mutation. Perhaps she remembers days of tasks and tests, when there was a job to be done and reward to be gained. It certainly suggests that there is a kind of intelligence there, so much so that folk have wondered if she could indeed be trained. This is doubtful, despite her enthusiasm for tasks. We have already attacked her multiple times, so we don't expect her to trust us that much. Also what kind of reward do you give to a mouse that size? Something tells me she doesn't want cheese, even if we could find a block her size....         ------------------------------------------------------ I got to say, at first the description of this child didn't seem all that interesting, but I think I found a design I really like out of it.

The Múshveli or mousewhale is, well, an Icelandic whale with the features of a mouse. It's also a terrifying destroyer of boats, putting its feet on the gunwales and pushing down till they capsize. They'll even chase you onto land, crawling onto the beach with those little stubby feet. Speaking of little feet...
Tumblr media
... Schilalyi, the Cold One, can give you a foot, she's a white mouse with many little legs! As a Romani demon of disease, she causes chills and cold fevers. And on the subject of cold...
Tumblr media
... the Yin Shu is the Hidden Mouse that dwells underground. This colossal mouse the size of a house lives in dark caves and dies when exposed to the sun. It was used to explain the presence of mammoth bones. Another enormouse is...
Tumblr media
... Ugjuknarpak, who lived on an island in a lake near the Colville River in Alaska. It used its very long prehensile tail to capsize umiaks and seize their occupants before killing and eating them. Fortunately, it had a weak spot at its neck and was eventually slain by hero brothers. On the other end of the scale...
Tumblr media
... the Uiluruyak is a Yupik mouse that is said to dig into people's shoes and crawl all over their body. If you move while it is doing so, it pierces your heart and kills you! Something to scare greenhorns with? Another scary customer is...
Tumblr media
... the Ebigane, which was once a normal little mouse until it was enchanted to become something of a cross between a bat, a buffalo, and a vampire. This product of murine sorcery is from the folklore of the Fang of Cameroon, Gabon, and Equatorial Guinea.
And that concludes our brief overview of mouse and mouse adjacent creatures!

Bitoso is one of the children of the Romani fairy Ana. He resembles a worm with many heads. He causes stomach pains, headaches and loss of appetite, as well as earache and toothache.
As with all of his siblings, the circumstances of Bitoso's birth were bizarre. After Ana's fifth child, Schilalyi, began molesting her own siblings, Melalo recommended that the king of Loçolico urinate on garlic and then eat it. He did so, and then had sex with Ana, who subsequently gave birth to Bitoso. Bitoso then went on to marry Schilalyi, and the two in turn spawned numerous disease-spreading offspring.

Who is the Weakest and who is the most Powerful?
Here are all my common (so not unique or boss monsters) monsters collected in groups, but the catch this time is that they are collected from weakest (of each group) to strongest/most dangerous of each group.
So for example in the human group the Buckrider is the weakest member, the Raktabija is the most dangerous and powerful. It is very messy and many monsters probably must be switched around, but it is VERY hard to come up with just the right order of least powerful -> most powerful! The strongest and weakest are mostly correct, I made sure of that!

Updates, Updates, Updates
Tumblr media
Arrach (Scottish) – I’ve added this invisible horror yet again to my project, I kinda based their design on both the D&D Invisible Stalker and the Ettercap. They are naturally invisible, even creatures that see invisible creatures can’t see an Arrach, only when they die they become visible. Arrach aren’t very powerful, but their traps, poison and evasion can be very annoying in battle.
Caladrius, Melalo (Romanian) – Another variant of the healing birds called Caladrius, whenever a Caladrius absorbs too powerful (or too many) diseases it sometimes dies and is resurrected as a monstrous undead version of itself. Melalo also absorb diseases, but only from corpses after they spread the diseases themselves. Melalo are birds of diseases, appearing as two-headed songbirds with dirty green, unhealthy feathers.
Incubus, Alp (German) – While they look exactly like an Incubus, the Alp is much more powerful, they are bright white-skinned instead of nightly black and can turn into either a swarm of white moths or into a giant white moth. Alp invade the dreams of mortals and exhaust them from within, then feed on the breath, but rarely killing victims as Alps are insanely cruel. The dust that comes from the moth-form’s wings cause exhaustion and sleep, getting too much of the white dust will cause a coma.
Tumblr media
Metminwi (Hawaii) – I’ve cut the Taka-Onna from my project and instead gave the Mr.Fantastic-like powers to the Metminwi. Now the Metminwi can stretch it’s limbs and body as it likes, turning it into an even more freaky bogeyman variant.  The Metminwi is also my Slenderman.
Munuane (Colombia) – Swamp giants with the eyes located in the knees, they aren’t very special just the giants of the swamp. The skin of a Munuane is all kinds of green, and mosses grow over it.
Munuane, Aigamuxa (African) – The desert variant of the Munuane, but instead of having eyes in the knees, the Aigamuxa has its eyes underneath its feet. This endless torture made the creatures tough, bitter and aggressive. Aigamuxa have a dark brown skin and hard-plates grow where normally eyes would be.
Nemeos (Greek) – Nemeos are powerful and magical lion creatures, their manes are covered with arrows and the weapons of their victims, their skin is very tough and hard to pierce with normal weapons, only magic and very powerful magical weapons can harm a Nemeos.
Tumblr media
Nemeos, Mngwa (African) – Undead variants of the Nemeos, these black and grey monsters only appear during the night, during the day they simply don’t exist in this world. Like the Nemeos their skin is very hard to pierce with non-magical weapons, only holy weapons and spells are said to be able to hurt a Mngwa. They always spawn from the same location during dusk and they disappear again during dawn. They have darkness and shadow based abilities, and just like the Displacer Beast from D&D their true location is very hard to guess.
Tumblr media
Nemeos, Nian (Chinese) – Very powerful variants of the Nemeos, next to their almost impossible to penetrate skin, the Nian also has limited powers over time, their magical horns can move back and forward in time. They hate the color red and loud noises and those are its weakness. Nian mostly show up only once a year during the time of celebration to destroy the happiness.
Tumblr media
Pard, Mishibizhiw (N-American) – The water panthers, these half fish, and half panthers have a strange magical ability, water will always flow behind them, so they move incredibly fast in any source of water. They are the fastest swimming creatures in the game.
Tumblr media
Pard, Ccoa (Peru) – The air/lighting/ice variant of the Pard/Panther family. Ccoa are the only ones that can fly/hover. They control hail and lightning and are very fast fliers. They are based on the Snow leopards.
Pard, Zheng (Chinese) – The fire panther, these fiends have a thick horn on their forehead which burns like hot coals, being attacked by these demonic felines will cause both burning and piercing damage. Their five tails always move around in different directions, making it very hard for enemies to stay focused. They are bright red in color with black spots all over their body. Like their pard relatives, the Zheng is very fast.
Pard, Cath Palug (Welsh) – The earth and stone based panther/pard monster, like their cousins they are very fast on foot. Cath Palug can absorb stone and earth into their bodies, growing in size or growing sharp rocky spikes or other parts on their own bodies, they can’t endlessly absorb earth into their bodies through, only grow into sizes of huge, but not beyond. They are often taken as pets/allies of the Antaeus giants.

Poreskoro (Romanian) – Beasts and signs of pure chaos. These 9 headed things have four feline-like faces, four canine like faces and one tail which ends with the head of a viper. Poreskoro spawn in the core of the abyss where pure chaos comes from. They are very powerful enemies and use raw chaos to destroy their enemies with.
Scarab, Minceskro (Romanian) – I only added Minceskro because the other Childs of Ana were all there… But this one is my least favorite child of ana, Minceskro in my project are much like the Scarabs from the mummy movie, they crawl around in huge swarms and enter the bodies of their victims to eat them from the inside out.
Schilalyi (Romanian) – Another child of Ana, this one is a cold rodent creature with multiple legs, they always have a random number of legs, some have three, others have twenty. They appear as very white mouse/rat creatures with bright red eyes, they bring all types of cold-diseases with them and only live in very cold places.
Skolex, Bitoso (Romanian) – These horrible white worm creatures are terrifying parasites. They randomly appear in my game when you kill another enemy, from their corpse sometimes spawns a Bitoso, which lived inside the enemy host until it was killed. They appear as human-sized white worms, from their maws grow many tentacles with head-shaped forms, though without eyes and only with snapping maws on them.
Succubus, Caorthannach (Irish) – A dangerous variant of the Succubus, Caorthannach look much like the Empusa, but their fiery hairs are green instead of purple. The fire of a Caorthannach is very special, it burns and is very poisonous at the same time. These burning, bat-winged women love to spoil water supplies and poison and burn everything around them. While they sometimes charm their way out of fights like their Succubus sisters, the Caorthannach love to battle and can never stay in the charming role for long. They also throw green fireballs and use arm-blade weapons in battle.
Zoureg (Arabian) – Small and deadly snakes with arrow/knife tipped heads, the Zoureg are actually juvenile forms of the Jaculus. They can’t fly/hover yet and speed across the ground, piercing and cutting their way through plants, rocks and flesh with ease.

Zoureg, Jaculus (M-European) – When they become adults the Zoureg grow into Jaculus. These can fly and hover and their aura will sharpen other things (like rocks and weapons) around them, making them useful to many other creatures who want sharper weapons. Jaculus use their own body as arrows and spears and love to pierce their prey from above, hanging from trees until a victim passes underneath.
