In an age where podcast is the next wave of radio broadcasting entertainment, there's definitely a market for different types of podcast and unless you have a particular niche or piggybacking on a genre that's booming; it's a little hard to find diamonds in a sea of gems.

Now, let me pre-face with my bias: I know these people. One of them I consider a really good friend and obviously this is one of many ways I'm supporting them.

But all that aside: this podcast is hella good.

It's in its infant stage right now [barely at 10 episodes at the time I'm posting this] and through trial and audience participation, Robin [Grace] and Adam [Diaz] are finding their footing -- and it's working.

Mainly because these two are truly depending on the latter: me, you, us, THE AUDIENCE.

Every week they encourage not just the basic "Please Share our Podcast" spiel, but they also want us to PARTICIPATE.

How? By sending in our own "scary"-ish* story.

[* - Ish because despite there being tales that causes the chill to run down our spines, through their humor and fond banter they keep things light]

Dubbed as "Homegrown Horrors" they share tales submitted by the listeners. If you have a story about creepy basements [sorry, Robin], they want to hear it. If you have a tale that involves a child you know saying something you think "Huh, that's a little creey...", they want to know what that child said. If you experienced a supernatural, even spiritual, happening involving a loved one, they would love to know of it but are okay with you just sharing it between them and no one else [unless you want them to share, that's totally up to you].

You can also share with them experiences where you started to investigate a spoopy happening, but then you Nope'd the hell out of dodge!

It doesn't have to be terrifying because when they're not creeping each other out with the different topics of the week, they're giving each other shit over the mundane things of life [so much shit that you can probably create a drinking game out of how many times they fondly say "I hate you" to one another].

Listen, I could give you the talk of "Oh if you like Buzzfeed Unsolved: Supernatural, you'd like this..." or "Do you like to listen to two nerds -- with natural chemistry you can plainly hear -- try to spoop each other out about different scary shit?"... I honestly could go on and on about why I think you should check out their podcast, but in the end I think you should at least have a listen for yourself. Each episode is about an hour long and not gonna lie it goes by quickly.

Who are you listening too for true crime. there's some really good people who talk about true crime, and then there's others who are very.... meh.

• Rotten mango (she has a yt but she does mukbangs while she tell these true crime cases which I find annoying so the podcast is better)

• crime junkie

• Bailey sarian

• let’s get hunted and scaryish (they have some true crime cases as well as paranormal stuff)

And that’s it. I’m pretty picky about podcasts. I’ve listened to A LOT that didn’t make the cut onto my favorites lists. Like u said they were meh lol I should make my own podcast

If you like scaryish stories theres a podcast called "Be. Scared" thats pretty good. Should say by studio 71 I think

A scary podcast I listen to did an episode on the scp foundation. This is the last straw. I am officially losing it.

F - Favourite Song: i don’t know!!!! i have a new fave song every day i feel. i really really dig the taz the suffering game ost rn

G - Grossest Memory: i’m a master at suppressing stuff i don’t like. but uuhh -unsanitary warning-  it was p gross when my sister’s dog got a stomach bug and had the worst diarrhea (super watery) and pooped on my friend’s kitchen floor. we noticed bc my friend stepped in it. he then proceeded to have diarrhea and vomited the whole weekend. and he’s one of those dogs who really wanna do his business on soft places, like the sofa, the bed, rugs..... and never tell anyone he needs to go outside. or that he maybe did something somewhere so you only notice when you step in it. so that was lots of fun!!! my dog got it later but he generally sits by the door and cry or go to the bathroom, and later ‘tells’ one he did a bad. which is great bc sister’s dog eats it if one don’t hurry to clean it up(: sister’s dog is generally p gross and love to roll around in dead stuff and worms bc he’s a nasty dog (i still love him but he’s kinda gross)

H - Horror Yes or Horror No: nooooope i’m so anxious and scared of the dark and just. not a fan. nu-huh. i really like uuh bloody aesthetic (like the hannibal tv show), some kinda scaryish stuffs (alice isn’t dead and lore podcast for example). and skulls. but in general, i refuse horror movies and books and stories bc they fuck me up 

I - In Love?: yah 

J - Jealous of People?: depends on my general mental state. rn i’m v jealous in general, jealous of people, envious and just. extremely unsatisfied and insecure i suppose. i hate it 

K - Killed Someone?: who knows 

L - Love At First Sight Or Should I Walk By Again: *wink* (for real tho idk idk i believe in friendship at first sight and like? lust/attraction at first sight, so why not love)

M - Middle Name: yes hello i’m from sweden, we usually have two middle names, and so do i. don’t feel comfortable sharing them, but name nr 1 means strong/free/happiness. name nr 2 means basically god is satisfaction. i like the meanings of the first one, and is super alienated by the second one 

N - Number of Siblings: 2, and 2 step siblings who i have almost no contact with anymore 

O - One Wish: idk to find stability and/or purpose in life i guess 

P - Person You Called Last: mom 

Q - Question You Are Always Asked: “were/are you asleep?” and “are you tired?” 

R - Reason to Smile: my dog, gizmo!!! he’s the best. there’s probably lots more but i’m sad rn so i can’t think of any 

S - Song You Sang Last: likely something made up. whenever i’m happy i sing about things i see or do to made up tunes, or rewrite stuff to surreal proportions (my fave song to slaughter rn is wake me up before you go-go)

T - Time You Woke Up: eleven-ish i think 

U - Underwear Colour: black i think. i mostly wear black underwear so that’s probably the case rn 

V - Vacation Destination: england would be nice, i guess. idk i’m not big on travel (anxiety and all that lmao). but it would be fun to visit some folks 

W - Worst Habit: idk i scratch particular places of my body until it bleeds, and pick/bites on my nails? idk idk everything i do is one big bad habit 

X - X-rays: the usual dental x-rays, plus x-ray to check if my spine or kidneys where damaged after a riding accident. but that’s it i think? 

Y - Your favourite food: don’t know!! lots of foods are rly good! my one fave food item is potatoes tho
