Alright. Every time before Christmas since 2016 I read Karl May's "Christmas". And every single year, when getting to the point where young Mr. Hiller wants to see Charlie's scars - the one on the neck and the one on the forearm...I melt like an ice cube tossed in the scorching sun! Every single time! Awwww!!! <3<3<3 I would probably need a CPR right there on the floor if it was me looking XDXDXD

something thats been in the back of my mind for a few weeks is cowgirl!robin

say she gets heavily injured after the final fight with vecna, and just keeps telling herself that she needs to leave hawkins

so she calls up her older brother(i made her a brother) who happens to own a farm with his bf(gay sibling solidarity)

she spends the next month and a half packing and get togethers with the party and the fruity four respectively, with the addition of robin staying with steve until she left meaning a lot of reassuring him that they’ll manage when they’re miles apart.

on second to last night, her and nancy have a girls night and share drunken kisses that they dont speak about for another month

when she gets to the farm, shes quickly turned into the gay equivalent of a rancher/cow girl. and she actually likes it. she enjoys time on the farm and spending time with her brother and his bf.

and when nancy sees her again goddamn it may be the hottest thing shes ever seen(imagine robin wearing like a sports bra, red open flannel, loose jeans and say a scar from the previously mentioned injury showing)

Due to various procedures last week, I have 3 dressings on my body to cover stitches and open wounds. Part of me was going to wear a hoodie today to cover them up, but then I decided I don't care if you can see them, so I'm back in my cardigan, not giving a shit

Sorry for MCU posting, but I just triggered a memory of Natasha saying "bye bye bikinis" after telling her story about being stabbed or shot or whatever by the Winter Soldier and was viscerally reminded of how fucking angry that made me.

As if women are only allowed to show skin if it's unmarked. As if women should be ashamed of scars. As if scars aren't fucking hot as hell.

He truly was the heart of the squad in RC, and he is definitely one of my favorite boys. I’m shook I’ve never drawn him in the past, truly a crime. I’m pissed about what they did to him in TBB

I was looking something up in Karl May's "Christmas", and I came across a scene that I was thinking of every time, but always forgot to rant about it here :-D:-D Time to change it! So: Young Hiller asks Charlie to somehow prove he really is the famous Old Shatterhand. Of course, he wants to see the scar under his neck, but this time also the scar from the blood brotherhood act. WHICH MEANS even after at least SEVERAL YEARS the scar must be still clearly visible, right? That quite contradicts the description in Winnetou I., where he says something like "Intchu-Tchuna made a shallow cut on my forearm and a few drops of blood oozed from the tiny wound ." Ehm...first of all, everybody who had ever at least cut him/herself when peeling a potato knows it rarely is just a few drops. It can bleed quite a bit. And second of all - after a week or so, you are hardly ever able to find where exactly the cut was. To leave a scar, you have to cut into the deeper layers of tissue. (I accidentally cut myself to a forefinger when working in a restaurant. Deep enough to have a scar there even after almost ten years. It was so much blood that I mopped the drops I left on the floor, and it took over half an hour for the wound to stop bleeding completely. No kidding.) Soooo, in my opinion, the cuts on OSW forearms were much deeper and bigger than "tiny shallow cuts". I thus think that by the finishing of drinking the mixture from the clay bowls, they really would be having blood drizzling all the way down their inner forearms, to the palms, if not slowly dripping on the ground. It would probably be wise to disinfect and bandage such wounds, too... (And yes, I am just "jealous" at Mr.Hiller who had a chance to see and even touch this precious "wedding ring" Charlie wears engraved into his flesh, that's all :-)))))

Remember how at the end of The Dragon Reborn, Ishamael wrapped Moiraine in black lightning and she screamed and Ishy hurled her across the room into a column where she lay unconscious for the whole duration of the book's final confrontation and then that was just never mentioned again and she was completely fine ?? Not on my watch 🤨
