Gone Bad
Tumblr media
Natasha Romanoff x reader
Summary: You're a SHIELD agent on a mission gone bad.
Words: 1.5k
Warnings: blood, getting shot, f!reader
Author's Note: hurt/comfort ig? FLUFF. soft natasha :)
You weren’t sure where exactly you went wrong. You had gotten the mission assignment from Fury, done the required research, made sure you were properly trained, and left quickly. Everything had been going exactly to plan — you snuck in through the roof, incapacitated a few guards, and maneuvered to the underground vault that held the top-secret computer chips you were after. The security system was easy to freeze. The vault was easy to crack.
Only, at some point during your exit, you made a mistake. It could’ve been anything: tripping a sensor, or leaving a guard slightly conscious, or, hell, you could’ve taken a wrong turn and walked right in front of a camera. It didn’t matter. The point was, you had fucked up, and now you were getting shot at.
In the midst of the panic and rush, all that was on your mind was how disappointed Fury would be. This was only your fourth solo mission, and sure, the first three had gone off without a hitch, but agents weren’t supposed to make mistakes. If you managed to worm your way out of this with the chips—and that was a big if—would he even trust you to go on another solo? It didn’t seem likely. This operation was supposed to be a secret, it was supposed to happen completely under the enemies’ noses, but that was all hopeless now. They knew that SHIELD was after them. Shit, they knew that SHIELD was after them.
In all of your spiraling, you didn’t notice the hostile sneaking up behind you and cocking a gun. What you did notice, however, was the sharp, burning pain in the center of your stomach. The agony and blood quickly blooming across your torso. The terror that instantly compounded into a heavy sludge in your gut.
In an instant, fear snapped into focus, and you swiftly knocked the man out and found your way to an exit.
There wasn’t a moment for you to catch your breath as you straddled your motorcycle and peeled down the road, away from the facility. You ducked and cranked the throttle when bullets whizzed past you.
Embarrassingly, the thought of having to explain to Fury how you fucked up brought tears to your eyes, so you made a split-second decision. You haphazardly swung right at the next intersection, ignoring the honks and shouts that followed you. You sped away from SHIELD headquarters and gritted your teeth.
Maybe it was the blood loss, or the fact that you were numb with adrenaline and panic, but you were headed towards a place you had only been a few times — strictly on invitation. But it was the only place you could think of that would take you in if you showed up verging on death.
“If she’s not here,” you wheezed to yourself, stepping off of your bike and limping through the dark parking garage. “I’ll just check her other place. Yeah. I’ll check the other place.”
No matter how many times you repeated that to yourself, by the time you had dragged yourself to her door, you knew you had no chance of getting anywhere else. You were already dangerously lightheaded, swaying with every knock you landed.
At some point you collapsed against it. You didn’t want to believe that she wasn’t home. You couldn’t.
Your name, foggy and distorted, pulled you from comfortable darkness. Hands shook your shoulders, and someone called your name again.
Natasha’s face blurred into focus. There was a crease between her eyebrows. “What happened?”
The day came flooding back, and with it, the pain. “Mission,” you breathed weakly.
The corners of her mouth quirked up, her eyes brightening. “Mission?”
“Didn’t really go well,” you finished, glancing down at your shirt. It was soaked through with blood.
Natasha’s gaze followed yours, and a heavy sigh escaped her lips. “Why didn’t you go back to SHIELD?”
You swallowed.
After a moment of thick silence, she stood up from her crouched position and grabbed your hands, pulling you to your feet with ease. Your vision immediately went black and you slumped against her.
“Okay,” she mumbled, trying to quiet the fear roaring inside of her. “Okay, let’s get you inside.”
When you came to for a second time, it was nearly sunrise, and Natasha sat beside you on the couch, watching a muted hockey game. Your shirt was off, leaving you in a sports bra, and your stomach was wrapped in clean white gauze. When you shifted, her attention immediately snapped to you.
“Morning,” she said quietly, her expression an amalgamation of amusement and concern.
You forced a small smile. In truth, your head was pounding like it never had before.
As if she read your mind, she reached over to the coffee table and grabbed the painkillers and glass of water sitting, ready. She offered them to you gently.
When you had chugged the entire glass, sighed dramatically, and leaned back, she spoke.
“So are you going to tell me why I came home and found you bleeding out at my door at midnight?”
You didn’t want to, but then again you had no choice. “Got shot,” you grunted.
“Yeah, I noticed that,” she bit. “Why?”
“Mission went wrong.” You screwed your eyes shut, willing the pain away.
“I’m gonna need more information than that.”
“Didn’t wanna go to SHIELD.”
She seemed to realize that her hard attitude wasn’t going to get her anywhere. She took a deep breath and looked at you — really looked at you. The dark circles under your eyes, the sunkenness of your cheeks, the slight shaking of your hunched shoulders. The bruises covering you. Her heart clenched.
“What happened?” she asked, this time softly. It caught you off guard.
“I-” your voice broke, and you closed your mouth before a sob could escape.
“Oh, baby,” she mumbled, pulling you into her arms, careful not to strain your wound. “It’s okay.”
You hid your face in her neck, holding back more tears. Her arms wrapped around you securely, holding you so tightly you didn’t think she’d ever let go. You didn’t want her to let go.
“It’s okay,” she repeated, kissing your hair.
“I messed up,” you whimpered. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I-”
“All that matters is that you’re okay,” Natasha said. “Understand? That’s all that matters.”
You couldn’t stop the hot tears from rolling down your cheeks. “But the mission…”
“The mission doesn’t matter.”
She sounded so sure of herself, you couldn’t even argue. Maybe she would talk to Fury for you. Maybe it would be okay.
White-hot guilt shot through you. Who were you to show up at her doorstep like this? To force her to care for you, and then expect her to save you from Fury’s wrath? Sure, you weren’t strangers, but this was asking too much. You shouldn’t have been making her worry. You shouldn’t have kept her up all night. You shouldn’t have gotten hurt in the first place — no. This was all your fault.
You wanted to act on your guilt, push her away and block her out, but your body wasn’t listening to your brain. Your hands refused to move, except to grip her shirt tighter. All you could manage to do was squeak out another apology. “I’m sorry.”
“Shhh,” she whispered, stroking your back. “It’s okay.”
You couldn’t help but break down sobbing. After a few minutes, Natasha reassuring you and whispering your name like a prayer, you found yourself taking a deep breath.
“I want to take you to headquarters,” she murmured into your hair.
Your breath caught in your throat.
“Just for the injuries,” she rushed to say, quick to continue rubbing your back. You sighed in relief. “It’s okay that a mission went bad. It happens to everyone.”
You shook your head against her. “No, this was, it didn’t go bad, I fucked it up.”
“That’s okay.”
“I shouldn’t have made a mistake,” you croaked, pulling away from her. Your hair stuck to your red, tear-streaked face, and she still placed a gentle kiss on your forehead. She still looked at you with nothing but care in her eyes.
“I don’t care that you made a mistake.”
Yet again, she’d caught you off guard. You couldn’t think of a single thing to say.
“What was the mission?” she asked quietly, slowly moving strands of hair out of your face.
“I had to recover these stupid computer chips,” you scoffed, looking down.
“What happened to the chips?”
You pulled them out of the pocket on your pant leg and tossed them onto the coffee table. Natasha’s eyebrows flew up.
“So you didn’t mess up. You completed the mission.”
You bit the inside of your cheek. “They weren’t supposed to know I was there.”
“So what?” she laughed, genuinely laughed, and you looked up. “You still won.”
Oh. Maybe it wasn’t such a big deal after all.
Her eyes softened and she brushed more hair off of your face before kissing your forehead again. “You did good.”
That sent you into another crying fit, but Natasha didn’t mind. She would happily spend the rest of her life drying your tears. She held you close to her chest, lightly scratching the base of your scalp.
You couldn’t believe how soft she was. Soft, and cozy, and you never wanted to leave her arms.

Good || Scarlett Bordeaux x Reader x Karrion Kross
Summary: They really are something special.
Warnings: Some light smut.
Tumblr media
Waking up between Scarlett and Karrion is like slipping into a dream you never want to end. The soft light of dawn filters through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room, but it’s not the light that stirs you from sleep. It’s the heat of Scarlett’s breath on your neck, the gentle pressure of her lips trailing down your throat, the way her fingers trace the curves of your body with a tenderness that contradicts the intensity you know they both possess.
You’re sandwiched between them, the comforting weight of Karrion’s arm draped over your waist, holding you close. His body is warm against yours, the solidness of his chest pressed against your back, the sensation grounding you in this moment. You can feel his hardness pressing insistently against your hip, a reminder of the desire that always simmers beneath the surface whenever the three of you are together.
Scarlett’s lips move lower, teasing along your collarbone before dipping towards your chest. You let out a soft sigh, your body arching into her touch, craving more of the pleasure she’s so skilled at giving. Her hands are everywhere, mapping out the familiar territory of your skin, and you’re lost in the sensation, your thoughts hazy and unfocused.
Karrion’s grip tightens slightly as he stirs, his breath warm against the back of your neck as he presses himself even closer to you. You can feel the restrained power in his movements, the way he holds back just enough to let Scarlett take the lead, knowing she enjoys making you melt under her touch.
But it’s not just Scarlett who knows how to push your buttons. Karrion’s lips find the sensitive spot just behind your ear, and he nips lightly, sending a shiver of pleasure down your spine. He knows exactly what to do to make you squirm, to make you crave more.
“You’re so good for us,” Scarlett murmurs against your skin, her voice low and sultry. Her words send a thrill through you, the praise making your heart race and your body ache for more. You’re their plaything, their dirty little secret, and you love every second of it.
You gasp as Scarlett’s mouth finds your nipple, her tongue flicking over it in a way that has your toes curling. Karrion’s hand slides down your body, his fingers tracing patterns over your skin that leave you trembling with anticipation. They know exactly how to work you, how to build you up until you’re teetering on the edge, desperate for release.
Karrion shifts behind you, his hand slipping between your thighs, and you can’t help the whimper that escapes your lips. Scarlett’s eyes meet yours, her gaze dark with desire, and she leans in to capture your mouth in a searing kiss, her tongue exploring yours with a hunger that leaves you breathless.
The combination of their touches, their kisses, their whispered words of praise and encouragement—it’s all too much and not enough at the same time. You’re lost in the sensations, in the pleasure that they so expertly deliver, and you know you’d do anything to stay in this moment forever.
“Please…” you manage to gasp out, the need in your voice clear. You don’t even know what you’re begging for, only that you need more of them, more of this.
Scarlett pulls back just enough to smile down at you, her eyes gleaming with a wicked intent that makes your heart skip a beat. “You’re so needy,” she teases, her fingers pinching lightly at your other nipple, making you gasp. “Such a good little toy for us.”
Karrion’s growl of approval rumbles through your body, and you feel his hand tighten on your thigh, his fingers slipping between your folds to find the slick evidence of your arousal. “So wet already,” he murmurs against your ear, his breath hot and teasing. “You love this, don’t you?”
You can only nod, your breath hitching as his fingers begin to move, each stroke sending jolts of pleasure through your body. Scarlett’s mouth is back on yours, her kiss demanding and possessive, and you melt into it, letting them take you apart piece by piece.
The morning sun continues to rise, bathing the room in a golden light, but you’re lost in the heat of the moment, in the way they make you feel. They’re devious, naughty, and utterly irresistible, and you wouldn’t have it any other way.
As you feel yourself nearing the edge, Karrion’s grip on your thigh tightens, and Scarlett’s pace quickens. You’re lost in the pleasure, in the way they make you feel so completely theirs, and as you finally fall over the edge, your body trembling with release, you know there’s nowhere else you’d rather be.

First Kiss
Tumblr media
Today was just another day on set. Or almost just another day.
We were in the middle of filming a movie, one in which I was over the moon to be chosen for the part. Getting to work with Scarlett was a dream, but getting to play her love interest was even better.
But just as that scene (I previously felt so excited about) is coming up, I’m feeling myself getting increasingly more nervous. Having never kissed anyone before, I don’t want to make it bad. I know it’s just for the screen but I still don’t want to embarrass myself in front of Scarlett. I mean it’s Scarlett Johansson.
It’s one of those scenes where we’re speaking, but she cuts me off by cupping my cheeks and kissing me essentially. But they told us to not make it fast, like to let the audience see the decision to lean in for the kiss, before we actually do so.
Yet the moment I feel her hands reach for my face, I panic, grabbing her hands and pulling them off my face for a moment. Uttering my apologies for messing up the scene, Scarlett shakes her head and says “It’s okay y/n, really. You want to try again?” I nod, and we repeat our previous actions, reading our lines, and just as she’s leaning in I can’t help but pull away again.
This time I look to the director asking if I can have a short break, needing a moment to breathe. As soon as I get the nod of approval from them, I take off, stopping on a bench around the corner. I pull my legs up and sit resting my head down on my knees, trying to persuade myself to get over it and just kiss her.
I’m mumbling to myself “Stop being so stupid, just do it, it’s only a scene.” I’m cut off when I feel a gentle hand on my back and I turn to see Scarlett with a worried look on her face.
“Hey honey, is it okay if I join you?” I can’t help the blush that spreads across my face, as I nod to her words.
“You doing okay? I knew something was up because you usually never mess up our scenes.”
I notice she’s looking at me, and can’t help but meet her eyes, until I realise I still haven’t said anything in response to her. I’m just staring.
I’m sure I’m blushing even harder than before as I say “I’m okay. I just um- haven’t ever, you know.”
Noticing I’m getting anxious again, she places a hand on my thigh and strokes her thumb across my leg. “Haven’t ever what, my love?”
I look down to avoid making eye contact as I mumble “I haven’t ever kissed anyone..” as quickly as I possibly can.
There’s a moment of silence, and I automatically assume she’s judging me, I mean most people have their first kiss in school. I know it’s weird that I still haven’t kissed anyone, and that I didn’t mention that when I agreed to be in a romance film with Scarlett, but I really didn’t think it would be an issue for me. Oh how wrong I was.
She breaks me out of my thoughts, when she places a gently finger under my chin, to direct me to look at her face. When I do, she has a gentle smile on her face.
She has such an infectious smile I can’t help but smile back, making her hum, happy she’d made me smile again.
I almost choke when she asks me “You want me to teach you?” She cups my cheeks, as if to not let me pull away this time.
“Deep breath lovey, you’re okay.” I listen to her words and take a deep breath. She leans in a little, pressing a kiss to my cheek, then whispering “Close your eyes.” with her lips still pressed into my skin.
My breath hitches in my throat, as I obey and close my eyes.
I feel her soft breathing against my lips as she's getting closer to my face. Her lips already touching mine as she mumbles "keep breathing" before fully pressing her lips against mine.
It's nothing major, nothing too much, just a simple kiss to make me more comfortable with the scene.
As she pulls away I see her signature smirk spreading across her face as she continues to cup my face and keep me close.
She then asks "Wasn't too scary, huh?" making me giggle while shaking my head. "No, definitely not."
We both stand and decide to head back to set, me feeling a lot more ready for our 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥 kiss.

It looks like following Scarlett and Destro, GI Joe will begin its ongoing series in November of 2024. The Joes, while not doing the numbers of the Transformers ongoing (which are usually in the top 2 to 3 bestselling comic floppies) are still selling incredibly well, with both the Duke and Cobra Commander graphic novels selling out at retail and Scarlett heading back for a second printing. This is on top of the Kickstarter for GI Joe's classic Marvel run banking $3,700,712 to be the most funded Kickstarter comic book project of all time.
Now you know. And remember -

Panic surges through you as you realize you're outnumbered and vulnerable. You try to back away, but their circle tightens, leaving you with nowhere to run. Fear grips you as you prepare for the inevitable onslaught.

"Thank you," you whisper, your voice barely above a hoarse murmur as you offer them a grateful smile.
Kross nods in acknowledgment, his gaze intense yet oddly comforting as he surveys the scene before him. Scarlett reaches out, her hand gentle as she brushes a stray strand of hair from your face, her touch a silent reassurance that everything will be okay.
"We've got your back," she says softly, her voice a soothing balm against the chaos of the moment. "Always."
