Painting this table has been on my list of things to do for quite some time - now I can tick it off that list. I watched @jonathonmarcmendes_paintedlove video of his faux marble technique, using @anniesloanhome products, to get me started. Not having the same paint colours on hand, I went with my favourites, which, strangely enough, I do have.😁 I found an image online of a marble with similar colours to use as a reference alongside Jonathons tutorial. I am quite pleased with myself! I finished the edge with adhesive copper tape, which is intended for keeping slugs away from potted plants, but useful for all kinds of other things. Before & After: This lil cutie was done this week in one of our Paint Your Own Piece sessions, by Trisha of TX. She learned to mix a custom color with Chalk Paint® Old White plus French Linen, plus Scandinavian Pink insides of drawers! She used Chalk Paint® Clear Wax and a light 'glaze' of Dark Wax thinned with mineral spirits for the slightest patina. . . Come take a PYOP session!
