Hey guys, if there’s somebody telling you they’ll pay $300 to your PayPal but you gotta jump through a bunch of loops to receive it, don’t fall for it. The scammer asked me for a commission of a portrait of a white woman with red hair, which I refused to do until payment came through.

Scam emails will look like this, I caught the scammer in the act and they instantly deleted their account. They realized I’m not a fucking idiot, stay safe guys

To whom it may concern,

If you come across this account or are contacted by this account beware. This is a scam artist who will try to collaborate with you claiming to have a client interested in your work. They claim to want to use your work as “inspiration” for a project. This will happen over the course of a couple of days. They will produce a sketch of your photograph or artwork to make you think that they are working on the project. They will ask for your information so that their “client” can send you payment. They will send you a photocopied check in whatever amount was agreed upon and tell you to print it out and deposit it in your account. All the while claiming to be fair, friendly, and wanting you to get paid. When you deposit the check it will actually clear and credit your account for a while and this is when they will pressure you to send them “their” cut immediately. DO NOT DO THIS!!!! Always wait a couple of days for the bank to actually clear the check. If the check is actually legit then the money should stay there, no problem. But it always bounces and you will be left responsible for whatever amount you withdraw. Also, you look complicit. If you try to contact them to get payment or rectify the situation, they will play stupid or just be outright disrespectful. Again be aware. There is no way to report this account for scamming, but your day will come.

SCAMMER WARNING

Beware of a scammer who will contact you for commissions claiming to be an American women, sending a selfie of a middle aged woman with curly ginger hair and a pink shirt. This is not a real person, but a scammer who has stolen someone’s identity to try and hack your PayPal account. @mlaurel is one of these accounts, I reverse searched the photo she sent me and it led to several Instagram posts exposing the scam scam and selfie across multiple accounts.

What these scammers do is offer to pay a crazy high amount, like $300, for a relatively simple commission like a sketch. They will then insist on you giving them YOUR PayPal account instead of the other way around, so you cannot invoice them. Invoices are useful for verifying transactions and to show PayPal as seller security if something goes wrong later on. If you refuse to give your account details they will begin to get angry in increasingly broken English then delete their account or block you so it is harder to expose them. Please be aware of this scam, I’ve encountered nothing but scammers on tumblr with commissions honestly, so I don’t think I’ll be promoting them on this platform any longer.

@ryanpatmon is commenting on people's posts to scam them. They'll comment "DM me if your open for commissions?" Or something like that.

They'll offer $300 for a commission (even if you told them it's $10 or less), ask for your email and then send a fake email from Paypal and a fake receipt.

The email said that because it's first payment/personal account/something it has been restricted. That the "client" needs to send you additional $200 for you to return to them, to upgrade your account.

I don't know what happens after that. I reported the email, I reported the account here on Tumblr (but not sure if I selected the right reason). I sent dm to a couple accounts that she commented but still.

They will seem like a real person, asking for "a portrait for her sons pet" and specifying stuff. Once you receive the email they say it is safe, that you'll return the money, and they will send a baloney email with 2 lines saying "you need to do something or we'll close your paypal account!". I talked with PayPal's customer support, they confirmed it's fake.

First off, their first language is NOT english. I had to say "English" to the lady like an automatic answering device. Then she spoke english.

They won't transfer you to a Manager or Boss when they can't answer your questions or do anything.

I used some sort of 2nd travel agency like tripadvisor or trivago...some website which I forgot that utilized this agency. Its sad that there are companies that will SCAM you.

Vice President Kamala Harris, or should I say Scamala, is really living up to her new nickname.

Vice President Kamala Harris has once again proven herself to be nothing more than a scam artist. She shamelessly stole one of Donald Trump’s most popular campaign promises, claiming that she would end taxes on tips for workers in the service industry. But let’s not forget that just two years ago, Harris voted to sic the IRS on these very same hardworking individuals. It’s clear that she will say anything to gain political points, even if it means betraying the promises she made to the American people.

Donald Trump vowed to eliminate taxes on tips in June, promising much-needed relief for waiters, waitresses, and others in the service industry who rely on these tips to make ends meet. It was a promise that resonated with hardworking Americans across the country. But now, Scamala Harris has shamelessly ripped off this pledge, claiming it as her own without any intention of following through.

What makes this betrayal even more despicable is that just a short while ago, Harris cast a tie-breaking vote to allow the IRS to track and tax workers’ tips. She turned her back on those she claimed to support, ensuring that their hard-earned income would be subjected to even more government interference and taxation. It is clear that Harris cannot be trusted to keep her word or stand up for the working class.

The American people deserve better than a vice president who will say anything to win votes and then turn her back on those very promises once in office. Kamala Harris has proven herself to be a true scam artist, willing to betray the hardworking individuals she claims to support. It is time for the American people to see through her lies and hold her accountable for her actions.

HC time!! I have some HCs about Hazbin and its characters, and I wanted to jot them down somewhere (so I don't forget bc my brain is the size of a dead pea) Some of them I'm standing by until they get disproven (and will stand in anything I write) and others are more wonky (for when they seem applicable)

These will likely be mostly about Alastor bc whaddya mean he's my fave?

Apart from being a radio host, Alastor was also the on-call handyman for just about anything when he was alive - while he kinda only wanted to repair radios, he eventually became the man for everything

Mimzy kept sitting on the jukebox in her bar and thus breaking it, requiring Alastor to fix it at least every two weeks

Alastor knows how to use most modern technology (and how to fix it) he just dislikes it

Be mindful. If you have to pay or send money to get payment that is rightfully yours it’s a scam. It’s your work and you shouldn’t have to pay anyone to receive payment. Again be aware. There is no way to report this account for scamming, but your day will come.

There is a new scamartist that's working from this blog: babyreviewcowboy. The story goes that he was the $220million winner in the lottery in Jersey last year. He wants to help 15 familys plus the first 1000 followers on Tumblr will get $1500 hundred each. It's pretty believable and he has photos of himself with that giant check (not him of course) he was chasing me a bit to much and today it came: a photo of his hand with 1500 dollars at a money deposit machine and he said he wanted to send me the money. I just needed to send the transfer fee😂. Are these frauds a common thing on Tumblr? I never seen it before. I have been on Tumblr about 18 months, but a couple of months ago I changed my visibility from only tumblr's with the same tags to all, and the latest three weeks four conartists have written to me. I'm going to have to change it to that I only accept messages from those I follow 🙁.
