I will never have enough words to explain how pointless this movie was. No Stiles. Stydia breakup. Liam and this kitsune girl being Scott and Kira 2.0, but giving nothing. Mason and Liam having no line together (what?!). 

I thought Derek having a son would be the opening for a new generation, as they did with Liam in the last season, but they didn't take that route. Instead, we were presented a motherless kid that gave enough Stiles energy to make you question if he was Eli's mother — he's not. Who is this kid's mom?

Revisiting a villain (the nogitsune) from their most popular season was (*cough* another cash grab) not a terrible idea, but the execution fell flat. It was a diluted version of what we've already seen. The onis’s ‘kills’ were emotionless and happening too close to one another. 

Bringing Allison back was undoubtedly fan service. Her storyline was underdeveloped and, to me, she didn't feel like Allison. The martial arts moves she pulled at the hospital were out of character. She is a hunter, an archer. It could have made sense for Kira, not Allison. And we can't speak of Allison without bringing up Scott. The writers definitely brought her back just so she could be with Scott, an attempt to 'fix' what they did in season 3. It took me a while, but I liked Kira with Scott. She could never rival Scallison though. 

Overall, the movie was a complete miss. Other than seeing so many of the OG characters back, I didn't enjoy much of it. They tried to pack so much into a movie that made no sense and felt dragged out, and ended up losing all the essence of Teen Wolf.  And why did they have to kill Derek? Just so Scott and Allison could have their happy ending and be ‘parents’? What in the poor writing was that?

My Opinions On Scott x Allison X Isaac

I don’t think y’all understand how BAD I ship scallisaac but I don’t- BECAUSE RIGHT, ON ONE HAND, SCOTT AND ISAAC HAVE SO MUCH BROTHER ENERGY BUT I FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE WAY TOO MUCH CHEMISTRY FOR THAT!

Then there’s Scott and Allison’s history which is pretty self explanatory if you watched the show or even the movie, really. Okay, bullshit because the movie didn’t do scallison justice. But we have the general idea of them.

ALLISAAC?! Deserved better, genuinely. Never in a million years should we have gotten what we did. THE HOSPITAL SCENE?! Jail. Immediately.

But they’re all so much better together. It doesn’t feel whole with one of them missing. Scott’s the level headed one, Isaac’s first thought is “kill the world,” and Allison provides the weapons. Besides, I know we aren’t brushing past the entirety of season 3. SCALLISAAC FOREVER <3

TEEN WOLF: THE MOVIE REVIEW

i set my alarm for 2:55 am EST so i could wake up and watch it the second it dropped and that feeling was inexplicable.

spoilers obviously so heads up

- okay if you saw any of my trailer reviews then you know…. i had such low hopes for this movie. i expected it to be a cash grab and fan service (which i mean, it was). but it was GOOD. I ENJOYED IT. WAS NOT LET DOWN. PASSED EXPECTATIONS. if you are a teen wolf fan and are debating if it’s worth the watch, it is.

- it was a lot faster paced than i would’ve liked, so we don’t get a lot of each character and their depth, but like… i will take what i can get.

- i am disappointed that stiles wasn’t in it and he was missed, but i had already prepared myself for that and was honestly shocked by how many times he was referenced/mentioned by name.

- you’re telling me LYDIA LEFT STILES BECAUSE SHE HAD DREAMS HE DIED IN A CAR ACCIDENT. what utter bullshit. i mean that’s completely on brand with everything else though. but STILL. they didn’t even resolve this so i don’t know what happens to them. go back to him lydia, come on.

- THEY KILLED DEREK. no words. simply no words. what was the point. to just break my heart. i can’t process this.

- a win for the scallison fans (aka me)

- tyler posey said “let them say fuck!” and say fuck they did. i loved it.

- eli seeing his family die in a fire just like derek did? i’m being so for real right now, that’s so distressing.

- the sheriff adopting another lost teenager. giving him the jeep. giving him the grief talk he needed. for a second i was upset that he passed on the jeep, but then it cut to eli driving it and i was like “that is exactly what stiles would want.”

- malia and parrish??? what??? i liked their chemistry enough but also was not prepared to see their whole asses like ten minutes into the movie. i feel like that’s the best combination between them? i don’t know how to feel.

- what the fuck, the secret villain is HARRIS? i always hated this man, but i thought it was just because he was a dick. not actually evil.

- it was so clear that stiles should’ve been in this movie based on the way they shoehorned other characters into his role. the jeep being it’s own character (as it should be). eli driving it, breaking the law, wearing flannel and being sarcastic. the trio facing the nemeton and resurrecting allison being scott, lydia, and malia? malia never met her. mason being sheriff stilinski’s backup and little protege? those would be him.

- i want to know who eli’s mom is and where she went. i can’t believe it wasn’t even mentioned.

- you’re telling me scott hadn’t been back to beacon hills in years? he just completely dips out of his mom’s and the sheriffs life? just like stiles did? poor parents lost both of their kids.

- i think jackson was my favorite part of this movie and i just wasn’t expecting that.

all in all i am both so happy and so distressed at the ending but i needed this movie like i need oxygen.

Did somebody order a Sciles pining fic?? Because that's definitely what this would be. Stiles pov.

Maybe it’s like a 5+1 thing. 5 times Stiles doesn’t admit his feelings for Scott because of someone else, +1 time he finally spills the beans. And it’s like:

1) Theo and Scott get playground married like in @scribeoffate’s fic “Dearly Beloved”. Stiles immediately tries to make them get playground divorced.

2) Allison moves to town and Scott falls hard and fast. Stiles focuses extra hard on the coolness of Scott being a werewolf and on a playing up his crush on Lydia. In the time between Scallison’s breakup in S1 Stiles almost tells Scott, if only he weren’t so heartbroken over Allison.

3) Isaac starts staying at the McCalls’ house—which Stiles discovers as a “fun” surprise when he stops by to see Scott—and then he has to hear all about how isaac’s sharing Scott’s room and they’ve made out once or twice and Scott’s all confused about it, and Stiles wants to hit Isaac with his jeep. And now Stiles can’t even sleepover because he would have to deal with Isaac being there. 🙄

4) Kira moves to town and she’s basically perfect for Scott and she’s supernatural with cool powers and she’s beautiful and nerdy and basically she’s awesome. Stiles can’t even be mad about Scott dating her.

5) Malia and Scott get together, and this one’s awkward and confusing, but at least he’s not really around when it happens. Really, he should be blaming the FBI for this missed opportunity.

+1) Things with Malia don’t work out in the end. A couple years into college, Stiles spends his spring break at Scott’s dorm. Maybe some guy from one of Scott’s classes gets flirty when they bump into each other. This time Stiles confesses how he feels for Scott before he starts dating anyone else.

Oh Teen Wolf the movie just like hit and brought back all the nostalgia. 6 stunning wild crazy seasons of battling to survive to be brought back into the world once again as the movie that hits home.

Love and missed Allison, she truly was the anchor to Scott, their love story was tragic and hard to keep going bc of the way they ended things and how no matter the issues they both still loved each other even if there was someone else like Issac and Malia. When Crystal chose to leave and exit like she did in the show was a low blow, felt there could been more for them but her end brought new stories for Scott and I guess it helped to guide them as long as it could. I was more of a fan for Scott and Allison's plot also Derek I mean who doesnt love Tyler Hoechlin he was fun to watch alongside Tyler Posey when he was still with the show too. But actors leave and go on to do other things.

It was a bit fun watching all the old villains come together, Nagitsune, and the Oni and the pack coming back together to fight also seeing Derek who ended up having a teenage son. Lydia ever so smart and wise love her too. Jackson was a bit odd to see though lol his reasoning for coming back and still dating Ethan and such was funny bc to me he brought back the HS jock who just had an attitude issue but he and Lydia were good pair not the best compared to Scallison and Stydia, Stiles was dearly missed but the story still flowed without him there.

Jackson and Lydia having such lil funny moments and him that guy lol he barely had much lines but he still can give a persona a giggle or two when he speaks. Hes like Peter without the kill mode flare that Peter gives. Colton is a great actor but Jackson was not one of his many good roles per say even though it brought him to grow and do more in the movie it just was meh but he helped Lydia when she needed the strength to weep for her BFF Allison who was about to dye again.

Papa Argent and Mama McCall those two sassy loving parents, love them both so much even though Argent at first was such a douche in the show, in the beginning, he kind of became loveable when he decides to help Scott and he as an actor is such a cool guy love his other works. JR Bourn is just one of many of my favs since his appearance on Stargate sg1 yrs ago he's been fun to watch. Melissa Ponzio also such a sweet woman love her works on other shows to but being Mamma McCall is one of her best roles.

Derek really had it rough on the show and in the movie, Tyler just can make you cry when hes hurt but his end was such a tissue-needing moment especially when he looked at his son one last time and held Gerard Argent who survived the bite and such became the big bad at the end, Derek sacrificed himself to hold him in place while Parrish used his hell hound power to burn him to ash which also meant Derek wouldn't survive that so he died leaving his son in the hands of Scott to be taken care of. It was bittersweet knowing they would give Derek an ending like that since they showed all the amazing stuff Derek went through and how Stilinski talked during the flashback moments to Eli which gave a bit of comfort to him but there was also that guilt Eli i think carries bc he never got to learn much from his dad like he should have but when Derek told the reason Eli is the way he is was bc of a past trauma where his son saw him shift into the were coyote when his son was in danger of coyotes about to attack which left Eli frightened of what he learned would be his fate.

Malia, Peter, Mason, Deaton, and Hikari didnt really have much scenes being a movie based more around Scott, Derek, Allison, and Eli, they kind of had small moments of being whitty and there for Scott even though Peter of all ppl lol not as sure to why he was around I mean he didnt even think of stopping Derek he was litterally cold as ice to him even by blood. Deaton was more of a guide he helped the pack like he normally does, Mason not as sure even though he was Deputy it was maybe for cast wise and Malia gurl is still the same but she and Parrish well be damned they get something going on guess the breakup with Scott was meh to her lol.

But overall the movie was fun to watch and suspenseful and brought back the cast as much as they could and left it open for more Scott and Allison and Eli adventures down the road if and when Jeff comes up with another brilliant story to come up it.

If you have seen all 6 seasons of Teen Wolf it really brings back the old times and the future for more.

Like the other day I was talking with my mom and she said she doesn't like me going out on my own because I don't pay attention where i'm going and could get hit by a car and i had to explain to her that i only don't pay attention because i'm with her. Oh it was this weird thing with her ghost being trapped in Bardo (and Chris had to do exposition and explain to Scott what Bardo was even though he should have known because Kira explained it to him when she first joined the crew like what even) and then they did a ritual at the nemeton and she came back as an adult?? That's what bothered me. She died as a 17 year old, then she came back like ten years later and went right back to dating a very much adult Scott? But that's okay because she looks like an adult somehow??? But wouldn't she still be 17??? (i feel hypocritical pointing out the Scallison age gap as a Sterek shipper but still)

Hi! I have a question about the Teen Wolf movie, if it's not too much trouble, because I don't really want to watch it. I've gathered from gifs and summaries that Allison doesn't remember much at first, not even Scott. There's a scene where Allison is wearing a cap and holding a dagger up and pointed at Scott, where she doesn't seem to recognize him, and asks where the alpha is. And Scott asks her, I think, if she means him, and Allison counters asking where Derek Hale is. I thought at first that she had some kind of full-on amnesia, not remembering anything from her life in Beacon Hills. But is her memory just spotty? So she doesn't remember Scott but somehow she remembers alpha Derek, which is a memory that's way later in her Beacon Hills life than meeting and dating Scott. Or is there maybe some kind of wacky mind and memory control thing from whatever brought her back to life? Sorry for the length of this and thank you!

I do not recommend watching the movie as it was in fact trash. I don't remember exact details because i did in fact hate it. I tried my best! i hope this answers your question

Major spoilers ahead for the teen wolf movie! The movie opens with the nogitsune being rereleased, and we later cut to Scott hallucinating Allison from the first season, where she hit a dog with her car and shows up at the animal clinic. Chris Argent shows up and he and Scott share a moment of “you’re seeing her too” and they get in contact with Lydia, bringing the gang back together to save Allison, who’s in some form of limbo? The gang sets off to the woods to find the nemeton with an oni sword that of course they have. Why wouldn’t they have the sword that killed Allison? Chris has apparently just been trucking around with it for 15 years. Allison is brought back to life, somehow, supposedly the same Allison who died 15 years ago despite her hair being a different length and her not looking the same at all. So she’s aged? In limbo? Who knows. Not me. Allison goes to the hospital, poor long suffering Melissa runs her bloodwork and we’re told oh yeah, it’s Allison! For real Allison. Allison leaves the hospital and like you saw, says she’s looking for the alpha, Derek Hale. She bumps into Scott and has no memory of him. I don’t think she recognizes her dad either. So we have Allison who is presumably a weapon of the nogitsune who wants to take revenge on Derek. For something??? The nogitsune says it wants retribution. Allison finds Derek with his son, Eli, the only redeeming quality of this movie. Dilf Derek supremacy. Allison tries to kill Derek and almost succeeds but is thwarted by Liam and new character Hikari who I would love to know more about but alas Jeff remains not giving a shit about female characters. Allison is eventually somehow trapped by Scott who has to convince her of who he is. She gets some memories back (?) but it’s spotty. I cried so hard I missed the last 15 minutes of the movie including the scallison ending.

So basically this is Jeff Davis' 10-years late, overly elaborate, woefully derivative Season 4 rewrite/fanfic. He finally realized he actually should've addressed the Nogitsune fallout, Allison, and the Hale Fire(s) after 3B; without the useless Berserkers/werejaguar!Kate nonsense and the random AF coyotes plot tied to the Hales.

Malia and Parrish still being sexually objectified, because ofc. Malia being her usual maladjusted self, not even trying to deny that she doesn't miss anyone in the McCall "pack." But also not having any scenes with her family either, giving Malia and Peter ANY interactions of substance, because JD has always hated the Hales. Further underlining why even having her as a "character"/plotdevice in 3B was strictly for fanservice to have a hot girl naked. The coyotes are only brought up as trauma for Eli. Where was Malia? You'd think she'd be perfect for helping Eli shift, but alas.

Derek still dies, because ofc (right before he would've reappeared "reborn" in his full wolf shift in S4). As a final slap in the face, Derek gets the Alpha Hale spark back (from healing Cora in S2, who I assume is still MIA in Sth America)--but blink and you miss it, because the Evil Overlords Jeff Davis and Tyler Posey will not suffer anyone being the alpha and living other than Scott, who hates being a werewolf and barely has any betas of his own. Speaking of which:

Eli is ofc the stand-in for Stiles (y'all do see s-E-L-I-t-s spelled backwards right?), since DOB wisely said F-U to this trainwreck. Everyone knows Stiles should've been a Spark, werefox/kitsune, or at LEAST a werewolf after getting bitten by Scott in 3B. But instead we get Eli struggling with his shift and being poached into the McCall pack, because Scott's clearly the type of responsible alpha who keeps track of his betas....(where was Liam again all this time?). Like I said, Malia could've been a great way of training a new beta if Eli/Stiles had problems shifting, and Kira naturally could've helped Stiles if he was a new fox (giving him her painfully irrelevant Skinwalker training arc). But alas.... Speaking of!

They needed a kitsune for the Oni plot to work, so JD split Kira into Hikari and the random deputy who never knew they were a kitsune (lmfao wtf).

Chris and Peter still the good cop/bad cop buddy comedy from hell, and they keep their UST from S4 going. Rather than Peter burning (again) in 6A, we get Derek burning here, because ofc Jeff Davis is sick and hates the Hales. Harris inexplicably gets to copy/paste Peter's resurrection, and repeats his arson/chemist arc that started this whole mess with Kate and the Hale Fire. Peter gets zero closure because JD hates the Hales, but at least Chris does after being constantly dragged through the wringer by his stupid family, because Jeff Davis loves the Argents. Case in point:

First Kate comes back in S4, now Allison. JD already brought Allison back in S5 for the Beast of Gerwhatever flashbacks, so it was obvious he never wanted her to stay gone after 3B--unlike Erica, for example (because Jeff hates the Hales AND the Hale Pack). If we swap werejaguar!Kate's resurrection with Void!Allison's resurrection, it lines up with a S4 AU/rewrite, especially if Allison got sucked back into the Nemeton in the end, explaining why she's not present in S6. But here, Scallison can finally thrive, after having Scott try to sleep his way through the entire show. Even though this counts as statutory cuz Allison's still technically 17 and even more disconnected with the present than Malia was, and Scott's 30+ but still as clueless as he was as an actual teen wolf.

So yeah, I'd rather take this as a S4 AU/fanfiction than anything post 6B canon.

This is probably the most poignant thing I have ever written. The whole thing is woven with grief and love. The scenes between Lan Wangji and A-Yuan still make me a little teary-eyed when I think of them.

Best Romance:

An Atypical Courtship (48K | M | The Untamed | LXC/JGY, WWX, LWJ)

Meng Shi dies with her debt to the brothel unpaid, and the madam decides Meng Yao needs to work it off for her. Eight years later, Lan Xichen meets him at Koi Tower.

I generally don’t write a lot of pure “romance”, so I’m really proud of how this one came out. The whole fic is just so soft and loving.

Best Post-Canon:

Sometimes I finish watching a series and so desperately crave more that I just write a couple more episodes for them, free of charge. This one is probably my favorite of that variety. I just want Black to be happy, damn it!

It’s a ridiculous statement from a ten-year-old, but he’s obviously one hundred percent sincere. For the first time since the fire, Peter feels life stir inside him, feels purpose. It’s kismet, clearly. He’ll never meet the child he would have had with Olivia. Instead he’s met this boy, this brilliant, determined, cynical child with a world of potential.

Peter kneels down in front of him so they’re at eye level. “How do you feel about doing that together?”

This might be the best fic I’ve ever written. It’s probably better than most of my original work. I love everything about it, especially the way I used outside sources like news articles and forum posts to show the passage of time. It’s just really good and I’m very proud of it.
