havent been keeping up with dsmp, but i HAVE been keeping up with four of a kind and finally got around to doodling something for it

@big-innit-hotel it’s time for an SBIverse fic oh boy I’m making my own thread so i don’t spam yours lol but I thought you might like to see.

As far as I know Techno hasn’t been on Origins yet and I never saw him on Rust if he was there. I know he’s going to join the former but I think iirc he may have refused an offer to join the Rust server because he’s not big on learning new games so we don’t have any canon material to work with there.

The only universe Ranboo isn’t in is Passerine, but I really like origins!Ranboo so maybe I could include some scenes showing everyone trying to hold things together with the others gone and write a bit of those characters that way? With Passerine!Techno the only other one I have any material to work with on that could be a good way to write him into the fic as well, or anyone who doesn’t tick all four boxes if necessary. I also recall having seen Phil physically play Rust but he didn’t have a character on the server iirc?

Theoretically the “pulling other versions of the character from other dimensions” thing could have something to do with the characters who’ve died and been brought back from the dead but that would leave out Tubbo, who does have a version of himself in all four universes :/

My only take aways from chapter 12 were that Ranboo is alive and Sally.

Also, I feel like Sally would be a good hugger. So I drew her hugging Ranboo-

Why does the fact that sbiverse!ranboo having so little skin showing and such thick goggles make me thing that while he was in the aethersea he’s started to deteriorate and he’s got weird body scars or missing pieces now? Or something weird. Or maybe he doesn’t like bright lights.

Or maybe I’m just dumb. —🍌

oh oh i actually have an answer to this one! i'm probably not going to get into it too much in the fic itself but ranboo is covered up so much to protect him from further exposure to the sea's effects. (there are other reasons as well that i might actually get into but.... thats a problem for the future) and his skin patchiness looks like that blaschko's lines skin condition! (their visibility can usually be explained by genetic mutations...)

i'm keeping the allium duo secret for now simply bc its heartbreaking and i don't wanna talk about it until i can flesh it out entirely yknow? i will say that ranboo is a clone like tommy, just with a different job. i'll do a design for tubbo and ranboo after the core four bc they're some of the more important side characters hehe

tubbo and tommy’s relationship in the sbiverse?

ooooh i've been thinking a lot abt this one!!!

tubbo is the person that tommy reports to in the city!! once they were reprimanded for getting too buddy-buddy with each other, tubbo figured out how to connect them through tommy's hand implant so they can still talk. tubbo is a big part of tommy's motivation to survive and find something good enough to get reintegrated. they're best friends but have never seen each other in person or been able to interact openly and yes it hurts my heart to think about.

I constantly want to read, but I literally can't get myself to read anything other than 4oak, human error, ncfc, and guided evolution. Like, I found my niche with those and now refuse to read anything other than them-
