summary: teaching Aiden foreign words and sentences as an exchange students; and his gf

“Soo, this means hello?” Aiden asks for the hundredth time after you decided to teach him a few words from Slovak.

You were an exchange student and have about 6 months left until you needed to go back— unless you decide to stay for yet another school year or even move here. “Yeah that one is formal and the other is for friends, close relatives or whoever lets you use the not formal one.” You explain; well at least try your best since it was a complicated language compared to english.

“How do you say I’m Aiden and I’m from America?” You chuckle at the random sentence but translate it for the poor boy. “Well you can either say; Ja som Aiden a som z Ameriky— or you could say; Volám sa Aiden a som z Ameriky. But that doesn’t really matter” He nods, repeating it slowly and with a very obvious accent but he was doing surprisingly well. “What about I love you?” You smirk and cup his cheek, trying your best to not giggle. “Ľúbim ťa.” You say, trying to sound seductive but fail miserably which made Aiden giggle in sync with you. You kiss his nose and lay back in the bean bag in his room. “Why are slavic languages so complicated like what do y’all need 100 words to say “go” for?” He grumbles and lays his head in your chest.

“Don’t know baby, ask the man who created the language.” He looked into your eyes with furrowed brows. “Weren’t there like ten of them?” You shrugged, giggling. “Maybe more.”

“Well how do you say it’s nice to meet you?” You think a bit, looking up at the ceiling as Aiden rested in your arms. “Ty si strašná kurva.”

“Haha, very funny Y/N I know what kurva means.” He hovers over you with a raised brow, making you smile innocently. “What do you mean? I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He slides his hand under your shirt, drawing circles on your waist. “Oh yeah?” He asks and smirks, tickling your sides like a mad man while you started laughing— like a mad man. “Aiden— do piče, stop!” You yell; “Veď ty kokot.” You cry out and he finally stops. “I hate you so much.” He smiles and leans in to press a kiss to your lips;

“Can you just… leave me alone for a while?" Ben would be lying if he said that didn't feel like a punch in the gut. - OR Taylor tries to deflect, but it comes off the wrong way. Ben doesn't know how to feel about her dismissal. Cue Aiden and an emotional breakdown.

Aiden squeals as Ben flicks a toothpick at him, Tyler just barely stopping him from grabbing the bag of flour instead. 

“My house, my rules,” He frowns firmly, “If my kitchen ends up victim to a food fight, you’re staying all night to clean it up.”

Aiden’s eyes widen, and ever the genius, he promptly snatches the bag of flour and dumps half of it on Tyler’s feet.

“I- Wha- I literally just told you not to do that!” He glares at the blonde in exhasperation, “What part of ‘staying all night to clean it up’ did you not get??”

He shrugs, “What I heard was if I spill the flour, we get a sleepover. So…”

“Fucker,” Tyler grumbles, as Logan rolls his eyes. Ashlyn simply watches, mildly entertained by the scene in front of her.

Ben suppresses a laugh, raising his eyebrows and turning to Taylor.

… Or where Taylor had been.

Frowning he scans the area, ignoring Aiden’s screams when he realizes Tyler had dumped the remaining flour into his shirt when he turned around. 

He turns to look at Logan, and gestures at Taylor’s empty stool.

Logan scrunches his eyebrows, momentarily confused as to what Ben is asking. Then, his eyes widen slightly, and he points to the sliding door. “I think she went outside?” He frowns, “She was here a minute ago.”

Ben stands up, nodding his thanks. He grabs his phone from the counter and leaves the group behind, his friends screaming bloody murder and ruining the twins’ house. 

The sliding door is old and squeaky, and he has to use all his force to push it open, but when he does, he finds Taylor leaning against the railing.

It strikes him at that moment that she’s absolutely fucking ethereal. Her face remains pensive, and she looks deep in thought. Her hair is down, flowing freely in the wind, some of it sticking into her face due to the autumn humidity. She shifts to move it, and notices Ben staring.

“Oh, hey.”

He awkwardly shuffles for his phone, pulling it out and typing as fast as he can to pass the silence. You okay?

He hadn’t been alone with Taylor in a while, ever since the new school year had started and they’d all gotten busy. It was Tyler’s idea to gather at their house to bake cookies, just for the sake of old times. Taylor had looked like she was having fun, but maybe Ben wasn’t as good at reading emotions as he thought he was.

“I’m okay,” She replies, her voice clipped. It’s quiet, drifting into the breeze as if it’s simply another breath of air. But it’s not, because it means something more, and Ben needs to know what that is.

Why did you come outside?

She shrugged, “Just felt a bit suffocated inside. Nothing much.” 

She attempts to give him a smile, but he sees right through it. He knows that smile, the one she gave when he’d tell her she was fine, like when she was pretending Tyler hadn’t been impaled by a tree and everyone was still okay.

Ben shakes his head, reaching out towards her hand. She flinches, momentarily, and he stills.

“Ben, I- I’m fine. Can you just… leave me alone for a while?"

He would be lying if he said that didn't feel like a punch in the gut.

He looks away and sighs, tucking his phone back into his pocket, but not before it utters one simply word.

Fine.

She looked sad, Aiden! The phone speaks as Ben agitatingly twirls it his hand. And then she told me to leave! What am I supposed to do? Is she mad at me? Did I do something wrong?

Aiden blinks, “Right now, you sound like your overthinking. Overtyping? What do you people call word vomit?”

Ben glares at his cousin and rolls his eyes, for both his bluntness and his complete dismissal of the actual problem at hand. Forever childish, Aiden sticks his tongue out in retaliation.

A few silent seconds pass, and finally, Aiden huffs.

“You’re not wrong though… she seems a little bit off, even in school.”

Ben jerks up, glaring at Aiden, So it’s not just today? As in, this has been happening for a while and you didn’t even tell me??

Aiden kicks him, “I didn’t think that much of it until you pointed it out, okay! Why can’t you just talk with her?”

Ben flops onto the chair, as far away from his cousin as possible, and shakes his head, She said to leave her alone, though. I have to respect that.

Aiden throws his hands in the air, “So what the fuck do you need my help for?”

That is… a great question. 

Because Tay trusts you? I don’t know!

Aiden glances at him and sighs, “Ben, I love you, but are you serious? If Tay were to trust anyone, it would be you. After Tyler, obviously. I don’t know what y’all have going on, and I think I’m good with staying in the dark, but…” He side-eyes Ben, causing him to snort, “But if you’re really worried, talk to Ty. He seemed pretty fucking peachy today, so I’m guessing it’s not a family thing.” 

He stares daggers at a nearby lamp, most likely remembering that he still has flour in his buttcrack or something.

“Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go take another shower, and then I am going to go back into Tyler’s bathroom with blue dye.”

“I already found out how to remove his shower head too!”

Aiden are you going to sneak-

“Yep! He is going to suffer through the week looking like goddamn oompa-loompa.” He punches the air and grins, clearly happy with his plan.

Ben doesn’t have the heart to tell his cousin that oompa-loompas are orange.

first meeting the group

⠀ › ⠀being honest, the group thought you were some newly found demon that lurked the phantom realm.

⠀ › ⠀they were freaked out when they saw you just recklessly eating off the flesh of each phantom and slicing all of them into pieces.

⠀ › ⠀at first you seemed like a maniac but the more they saw the more that ashlyn felt like you were doing it like you knew what you were getting into.

⠀ › ⠀as they were watching you assassinate each phantom and clear the area for them, aiden felt most fascinated and was about to jump in as soon as you killed them all until you started sucking on the phantoms flesh

⠀ › ⠀the group was looking at you with pure disgust (while aiden still had that smile on his face)

⠀ › ⠀logan stared at you, aiming his shotgun at you and as soon as the bullet almost hit, you flinched. then you were gone. gone?

“i’m offended.” you hissed, crossing your arms. your clothes were drenched in blood. as logan was about to shoot you again, you kicked his gun to the side and wiped the blood dripping on your chin with the back of your hand before licking it.

the others didn’t know if they should run but tyler confidently held his weapon at you “are you gonna be a problem?” he grit his teeth as he watched your smile fade “are you?” you asked, your hand curling into a fist.

first impressions

⠀ › ⠀ashlyn felt slightly troubled abt an addition to the group, but she really pondered when you said you’re way more experienced than them. she had many questions to ask. and those questions weren’t all about your abilities. (some, not all!)

⠀ › ⠀compared to the others, you’re not scared to go in a phantom-filled area. you just make sure you’re prepared.

LOGAN FIELDS.

You and Logan have been friends forever, forever being since middle school, 6th grade to be exact. So You've been though a lot of each other's cringe phases, relationships, family issues, drama.... So it was no wonder you guys were so close, what you didn't expect was to be going through this together. Every single night since the savannah field trip was like hell, Roman eating creatures trying to kill the 8 of you, running like your life depends on it, being scared to go to bed at night, not being able to tell anyone.

And now to make it even worse.. you just watched the side of your best friends stomach get scratched open.

"H-how bad is it.." Logan chocked out though sobs, while everyone just looked at it "why aren't you guys saying anything?! It's bad isn't it, it hurts I'm scared!" He said in obvious panic.

You walked over to him sitting down in front of him "no, you're good bro." You spoke calmly smiling, lying to his face.. even though on the inside you were also freaking out. You took your hand cupping his cheek, and wiped his tears away.

He was still crying, like a lot but he was definitely calming down. "Ashlyn, can you pass me the pain medicine?" You said, still trying to keep your composure.

"Mhm, here.." he said passing you one of the pills, you took it out of your hand offering it to Logan "here, take this it should make it hurt less..."

Logan didn't say anything, he just nodded his head and swallowed the pill..

"Hey, Logan remember that one time in like 8th grade..." you paused scooting into a more comfortable position "..where you got in trouble for calling Mr W an idiot,, because he marked your test wrong and wouldn't change it.. than I felt bad and called Mr W a mother fucker so we could both get lunch detention together..?" Logan nodded, looking at you smiling a bit.

"Oh! and that one time my dad took us fishing and I got a fishing hook stuck in my hand and I made you pull it out?" Logan laughed a little.

"That was horrible, I was so scared I was gonna get it more stuck" he mumbled with a shaky voice.

"Oh my god.. remember 7th grade?!" You said with wide eyes as if you were having flash backs, which you were...(dark times..) flash backs to your bad anime phase, and Logan's stranger things phase.

You laughed, giving you the look.. you both knew what you were talking about. Everyone around you two looked very confused.. aiden even started asking questions that you both could never answer.

You kept talking to him as Ben patched him up, it was definitely helping him calm down.. you grabbed his hand when ben was about to disinfect the wound. Logan death gripped your hand biting his lip. You just smiled and kept bringing up stupid stuff the two of you have done.

It was probably obvious to everyone but Logan that you liked him, Taylor asked you about it before, You tried denying it but it was obvious

You were the only person in the world that would sit and listen to his 10 hour rants about astrology, the only person in the world that stands up for him constantly, you wanted to be the only person in the world that liked him. It was painful to see him hanging out with Taylor, of course you knew Taylor wouldn't ever do something like that to you. But you couldn't help but think he would end up liking her she was smart, funny, positive, and so so pretty. You never knew when the right time to tell him was, or if he even liked you like that.. but for now its best for everyone if you just stay friends.. you wouldn't wanna go messing everything up, and you definitely don't want Logan to feel awkward around you.

AIDEN CLARKE

You and aiden were the definition of polar opposites, he was a thrill seeker, dare I say crazy.

You were carful, and a lot more prone to freaking out in situations like this.

"A-Ashlyn what was that... it looked like the thing we saw at the weed house..!" you said, panic and fear present in your voice. You had just left you, and your friends shared room. "A-and where is {friends name}?!" You started to cry, wanting to turn back and go get her.

"She wasn't in the room with you?" Taylor gasped, more than a little freaked out. You shook your head no, Ashlyn stayed quiet leading the two of you out of the room.

"Taylor!" You heard a relieved voice, that had to belong to Tyler yell.

"Ty!?" She said in what sounded like disbelief.

"Oh so it was you guys, why are you running? And why are you crying y/n?" Aiden teased with his usual smile on his face.

"The thing from the serrel weed house.. it was in Ashlyn and Taylor's room.." you breathed out, still terrified.

"What's going on!?" Tyler asked, hugging his sister.

"There's something in the-" Ashlyn all of a sudden stopped mid sentence turning around.. the thing was there again. Right in front of you again.

You looked at it wide eyed, still trying to put some sort of reason, or logic behind this all, tuning out everyone. You were pulled out of your thoughts by Aiden grabbing your hand and pulling you out of the room. You all got out safely, making sure to slam the door shut.

"W-what was that thing.." Logan stuttered out, shaking with fear..

"According to Tyler, that would be the "prank" from earlier today." Aiden said, in a very condescending tone. "You know what I find kinda weird,, no one's even come out of their rooms even after all the screaming and banging." The door knob wiggled, thankfully Ben grabbed it before the thing could get out

"That could've been bad!" Aiden smiled, and laughed

"Could've?!?" Tyler spoke angrily, looking at Aiden like he was crazy. You still haven't said anything, you just kept staring at the door still gripping Aidens hand. completely disconnecting from everybody.

"STOP TAKING THIS AS A JOKE, ITS BEEN BAD! THE SKY IS RED FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!" Tyler angrily yelled Trying to knock some sense into aiden, they kept bickering only to have it interrupted by Taylor's quiet voice

"G-guys.." she paused almost in fear "look down.." everybody but you looked down, you did not want any part of this anymore. "Out of sight out of mind" you kept repeating in your head

"How far away is your room?" Ashlyn asked Aiden

"5, or 6 doors down.." he said almost nervously, well you could tell he was nervous. The grip he had on your hand tightened.

"Y/n, Aiden give me the strings off your shorts.."

"Kayyy,,,, why?" He asked pulling his string out of his pants..

You quickly pulled it out handing it to her.

"Y/n.. are you okay, your face is really pale.." Ashlyn said with concern examining your face..

"Y-yeah I'm totally finnee" you weakly whispered out, still on the verge of pissing your pants. She told you guys her plan on using it to trap the devil spawn. She told everybody to go, you were still paralyzed with fear, and the person who was dragging you alone let go of your hand tying the rope to a pole.

Ben let go of the door so the others started booking it, Aiden yet again grabbed you and yanked you along with them. You were struggling to keep up with everyone, maybe due to the fact you're fairly unathletic. You were already panting and gasping for air by the time the thing was right behind you. Turing your head fast enough to get whiplash you saw it reach out for you, Aiden tugged you forward causing it to only rip the back of your shirt. Ashlyn crashed the cleaning cart into it, slamming it against the wall.Ben gave you a look of concern, like he was asking if you were okay. You nodded your head sorta understanding what he meant.

"Y'know.." Aiden said letting go of your hand and grabbing a bottle of bleach "this could be pretty fun!" He laughed looking like an absolute crazy man, he sprayed the bleach in the creatures eyes.. the side of its face started to melt and its mouth unhinged, as if it was supposed to be screaming but none of you could hear anything.. well except Ashlyn, by the why she was plugging her ears.

"Why isn't it screaming..? Is it mute lol" Aiden said tilting his head.

"Ew, why does it look like that.." you whispered finally getting a good look at its terrifying ugly face.

"Y/n, Aiden c'mon! We gotta go!" Ashlyn yelled at the two of you.

"Nah c'mon I think we can take 'em! There's enough bottles-" Aiden went back to making his crazy face, you grabbed him this time pulling him back and running to the room with Logan, Tyler and Taylor.

You shut and locked the door, finally relaxing and falling backwards onto the floor trying to catch your breath. "GAH!" You yelled and jumped back as the monsters started banging on the door.

"Maybe we should put the couch in front of the door.." Ashlyn said. You guys moved the chair, you sat on the floor next to Aiden calmed down a little.

"Hey, Aiden.. thank you for saving me like 6 time out there.." you sheepishly whispered, avoiding eye contact with him.

"Nah, it was nothing! But it was super funny to see you so scared!" He laughed hardly elbowing your side.

"Nuh-uh! So not funny it was scary!" You protested elbowing him back

"Okay, scared cat.. you couldn't even move" he said laughing 10x harder than he was before.

You giggled with him a little bit, sorta embarrassed about how much of a baby you were being in front of him. And even more of the fact that you guys were holding hands.

Being a conspiratorial idol is a struggle ━━━ for the most part of studying at a school where some ruckus or tumult occuring most of the time, a majority of times, you'd have to wear a mask when you're not that congenial nor cozy in public, although as luck would have it, you're glad none of your friends at least knew your whole idol type of experience neither your existence as an artist. thence, you're pretty much at ease hanging around them, so you wouldn't really wear your mask on.

Until a fucking guy named “Barron” whom supposedly the school's trouble maker and a mass shitty manipulator ━━━ was talking about your whole secret identity with his friends or other schoolfellows in the corridors, they were crowding the confined hallway until you came making everyone proceed to you, presumably asking for an autograph, picture, etc. though everyone eventually stopped when a schoolmaster came in your way. you expected your group of friends to be here early than you yet your expectations failed to avail. at least for you.

The following day came, you were slightly overwhelmed or easily agitated, all owing to the fact yesterday and mostly Barron. and there he was again, talking about you for the fact that he still continued till now, and shit you were literally about to throw hands for that guy until Taylor suprised you from behind, and it added MORE problems to your mind, one, your circle of friends might hear what that boy is talking about, two, they might hate you for hiding it from them, three, they'll leave you forever leaving no friends which is pretty much a skill issue, four you'll become depressed over a simple problem which is huge to you.

Nonetheless, by good fortune, class had already started as your schoolmates passed by to their classrooms along with Barron to say the least.

"anyone else find [name] acting completely different till yesterday?" taylor questioned the group with a hint of concern in her voice. "yeah, she seems... dull. from my point of view to say the least of it." taylor's other twin responded with a compact shrug, earning a glance from others. "maybe some problems at home?" logan muttered, placing his palm under his jaw, "nah, her fam is fine." the blonde spoke confidently, leaning back on his seat, "how are you so sure? i mean, you're not that close to her either—", "asked their parents, they're all in good terms lol"

"you can't just question her parents without her knowledge—", "already did" the boy grinned insolently while he scrolled through his rectangular device, receiving a dagger from tyler as he looked back at the group.

"i did hear something about her from Barron," Ashlyn pressed a few buttons from her device before revealing a group of people, "plus there's this one girl who exactly looks like her", "or maybe [name]'s face card is too powerful?—" , "nope, this exactly looks like [name]. you can't change my mind" Tyler debated, looking fixedly at Ashlyn's phone.

"she looks nice" ben wrote on a pad of paper, receiving a small nod from others. "but why would she hide it from us though?" the deep brown haired girl was baffled, her face scrunched up. "maybe because she doesn't have confidence in us? i don't know" the copper hair coloured girl breathed heavily to show disappointment. "okay, let's just pretend we don't know any information we just acknowledge because—" taylor explained until she was cut by a notification from the gc, along with the other people from her group. nevertheless, there revealed a picture of [name] in her artist or idol form, in addition of aiden's message; "this u? loll".

I want to post here more but my only wip's are character/relationship analyses and theories which take me a while to do. I want to do headcanon or opinion posts but don't have any ideas for them so I figured I'd actually use my asks/requests.

This is an SBG (School Bus Graveyard) based blog so at least as of now keep these to SBG.

there was a heart pendant, you opened it and saw one half having tyler's picture and the other half having your part of the picture. it was the day you two met. you took a selfie with the whole group during the outing.

taylor felt herself close to choking on her food as tyler stared at you with a pissed look on his face. logan felt shocked at the sudden use of slang and let out a small giggle under his breath.

aiden couldn’t help but chuckle, covering his mouth with his fist “oooh, brit over here just called you a bellend!” he continued to provoke tyler with his slightly muffled laughs, causing tyler to become more pissed “stay out of this, blond!”

when tyler walked away (also pulled taylor away with him) you made sure to shoot him with a middle finger before scoffing “that was well grim.” you rolled your eyes.

note: i don���t think a normal person would be fascinated so yes they are traumatized because i say so
