In line at the funnel cake truck, Spencer turned his head back to see Catherine with Ivy waiting on him.  Since their last encounter, there have been a lot of things swirling through his mind about the woman.  The main one being regret that he did not kiss her that day when all the signs were there.  Instead, he stupidly pecked her on the cheek and left in a hurry.  Once he was at the front of the line, he ordered two funnel cakes because he was going to insist on Catherine indulging and enjoying herself and not concern herself over her figure.  And he added two fresh squeezed lemonade drinks.  After he paid, he made his way towards her and the stroller holding the little one and handed her the plate and drink.  “First, before you protest just try a bite.  Second, do you think we should go listen to the live music or would that be too loud for Ivy?”

Ever since Jake had saved Delaney from being hit by a car, things have been uncertain. When she had kissed him, he really didn’t think much of it. Of course she kissed him, he had just saved her life. It was clear that it wasn’t a I forgive you kind of kiss. However, having her back in his arms lingered in his mind for the entire two weeks that he was out on the boat. Now he had returned to town just in time for the Spring Break party. There was a lot of decisions that needed to be made, but Jake hoped that this party would take his mind off of that. 

He pulled up to the pier on his recently purchased motorcycle. There was no way that he was missing the row of food trucks. He made his way to the truck that he found most appealing and of course, the person walking to the same truck was Laney. Despite his desire to want to walk the other direction, they had locked eyes and it was too late. “Go ahead.” He muttered, motioning for her to be in front of him in line. “Even those tacos smell really good, I can wait.”

“Be honest, do I look like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz?” Liv asked her friend, gesturing to the brace she had to wear for her hip. For her, the brace was the worst part of recovery so far. It was uncomfortable and didn’t look that great, but she knew she had to wear it. “It really ruins any outfit I want to wear.” Which was why she was wearing a super casual outfit. Jean shorts and a simple black crop top. “Anyways, how have you been? I feel like we haven’t seen each other in a million years and I’m sorry about that.”

Derek was enjoying taking in the sights as he leaned agains the back of the pier. He enjoyed just observing like this, going unnoticed in the crowd. Going unnoticed in this town wasn’t very easy given that being a newcomer had him sticking out like a sore thumb. But with all the tourists in town, he’d found himself a small reprieve from that. Feeling good with a couple of beers deep, he even found himself to be happily talkative when a figure showed up beside him. He gestured towards the crowd with his beer, “All this small town air really what it’s cracked up to be?” He mused towards the stranger.

“Mrs. Loftis-Blake,” Beau walked up towards the woman next to a painting and greeted her with a soft peck on the side of the cheek.  “It is lovely to see you.”  His eyes shifted towards the artwork admiring the color scheme before returning his attention back to the woman.  “How are you?  How is the little one?”  During the woman’s pregnancy, he handled the charity and now was hoping she would be taking the reins back over.  His eyes looked down in the stroller to a little angel napping.  “Wow, she is beautiful.”

Art, it was one thing that brought people together.  It was one of the most exciting parts of the festival for Tristan, especially since viewing the displays were free.  The young man barely had any cash to his name, but he wanted to come out and at least show his support for such a lovely event that Mrs. Rhodes worked on as well as so many other volunteers from town.  As he gazed at one of the paintings he noticed Remy and waved at the man to tell him to come to him.  “Hey!  How are you?  Are you enjoying everything?  Okay, sorry to pull you away from what you were looking at, but I was curious as to what plant this artist painted.  It doesn’t look like something I’ve seen before.”

It wasn’t every day that Flynn screwed up but the last time that he and his friend Hailey hung out, he’d kind of pushed her away because things were getting a bit too... heavy. The fear of being dicovered and rejected by her ended up in him rejecting her instead and maybe not in the most graceful ways either. He felt terrible because she’d left in a hurry and they hadn’t talked since that day so he reached out to her and asked her to come to the art festival with him. It would be a chance to see art and maybe give her inspiration for her own. He wasn’t sure if she had a stand or anything for her own art but he wanted to just get through this without upsetting her again. He really did miss hanging out with her anyway. So Flynn waited for her at the entrance and upon seeing her approach, he felt relieved that she actually came instead of standing him up. He waved her over, smiling gently. “Hey.” He signed. “You ready to go check out some art, Hailey?” The male asked as he leaned against a wall, trying to act casual about things. “You look really nice today.”

“Flynny!” There was no stopping that nickname from coming out as she had been indulging herself well and good tonight because it had been a long time since she’d truly let loose with a few drinks. And the dancing around the bonfires around the beach with all the camping, warmth, and happiness was just filling her with such utter delight. Or maybe that was also the tequila? But wherever it was coming from she was thrilled beyond all belief to see her brother. “Oh my gosh how are you! Have you been to the art festival yet? It’s amazing this year! What about our sissies? Have you seen them around? We should get the whole gang out here around the bonfire you know?”

Chelsea watched as all her friends played in their volleyball game. A part of her wanted to join in, but another part of her knew that it was for the best that she stayed on the sidelines instead. She could be an alternate, alternate, alternate if they truly needed it but even then she could make up an excuse. No one needed to see Chelsea Reynolds’ ultimate competitive side. None the less, she had her white claw in tow as she was watching the ball sail to and fro over the net when wham, a spiked ball landed head first onto Wren’s face. Chelsea stood up immediately, shocked by how much blood was quickly running down his face. She made her way over to him to reach out for his hand and pull him towards her car, never once asking him if he wanted the help in the first place of course. “C’mere, just hold onto your nose here.” She showed him on her own nose, “I keep a first aid kit in the back of my car. I’ll get you fixed right up.”
