Okie- Then it's a Reader x OC then- with one emoji. (You didn't add which one of your OCs)
It was rather a busy afternoon, you managed to take a time off for today's duties back at the dorm for now.
It was rather nice to take a nice and relaxing walk down the road, it wasn't before long when you decided to walk into a cafe nearby, needless to say it was almost packed.
You managed to find a seat and ordered right away till you noticed someone entering the shop as well, it was Yuzuki, you knew him after meeting one of the scouted half-myths students at HSA.
"Hey there long time know see, sorry but mind if I share a table with you?" He asked with a straight face as you agree to it and then he say down with you.
You both had a normal chat about school, it wasn't before long when you both decided to return to the schools now. But before you could leave, Yuzuki had stopped you.
"Hey, there's something on your face." He answered as he gave a gentle kiss on your cheek.

Notes: Y’all it’s my man MIGHT GUY’s BIRTHDAY TODAY! Damn you know I gotta do some celebratory squats.
Guy woke up in the middle of the night to find himself still on your couch. The lights still lit up the room. Guy squinted at the glare of the side lamps. A weight weighed on his chest and after a few blinks, he realized that it was you. He craned his neck and gazed upon your softened features. The tension of your day had since vacated your face. Your hand bunched up in his shirt. Sparks of chakra pulsed from your hands with every breath you took. Guy watched your chest rise. A burst of chakra came when it fell.
He felt his energy being pulled from his network and swiftly replaced by fragile warmth. Every exhale felt like a slow heartbeat. From your fingertips came a puff of fiery spirit energy. It traveled up Guy’s chest, resolving itself in front of his nose.
Guy slowly pushed himself from the couch and weaved a finger through your balled up fist. Placing your hand in your lap, he maneuvered his forearm under your knees. He picked you up with ease. Guy unconsciously held his breath, careful not to wake you as he made his way to your bed. He placed you in the unmade nest of blankets, turning the nightstand lamp off as the covers enveloped you.
Guy made his exit swift, turning off all of your lights before allowing that partitioning door to softly close.
***
When you woke the next afternoon, you felt more rested than usual. Suspiciously so, but you hardly paid any mind. After all, you had a date.
You looked at the clock. It’s blinking neon slots showed 2:47pm. You groaned and stretched, silently cursing what hostessing did to your sleep schedule. The covers were thrown aside with laziness. You might as well get used to staying up and sleeping in late if this mission was going to last as long as you assumed it was going to.
You studied your wardrobe with disinterest before plucking out a few articles of clothing that you guessed that your date would like. You frowned at your reflection in the mirror as you considered that this would be the first time you went out of your way to dress for a man. The feeling lessened at the prospect of not having to wear an evening gown for a few hours of the work day, but it did not lessen by much.
Making your way to the subtle door, you gave it a light knock before letting yourself in. As you figured, Guy had been up for quite some time. You made your way over to the kitchen where he leaned over the sink. He donned workout gear. Guy gripped a water bottle in his hand as he panted. Red overtook his face. Small beads of sweat he wiped away with a small rag.
“I didn’t get a chance to brief you last night.” You told him as you leaned on the other side of the counter. “I should probably fill you in before I go.”
Guy took a breath and another swig of water.
“You’re not going.” He exhaled. You rolled your eyes.
“Guy, just let me brief you.”
“There’s no shame in taking something you can’t handle off of your plate.” Guy placed down his water bottle. Both hands gripped the counter firmly. You almost laughed. He was kidding, right?
“I can handle myself just fine. Just let me-”
“That’s not what I got from last night.” He looked into your eyes. You kept waiting for a signature Might Guy smile or for him to break and tell you that he was just joking, but it never came. You faltered, unsure of how to answer.
“Well fuck, I’m not going to confide in you just so you can throw it back in my face.” You snapped, more disappointment in your voice than you wanted. “Let me tell you what kind of information I got yesterday-”
“It’s not safe. I can’t spot you. I can’t make sure that you’re safe the whole time.” You crossed your arms, heat rising hotter and hotter to your ears.
“I don’t know why you won’t listen to me right now. Yesterday-”
“It doesn’t matter.” You blinked, a smile of disbelief fighting onto your lips.
“Guy, what the hell?” He came around the kitchen island. You recoiled at the hand that Guy tried to place on your clothed shoulder.
“There will be other opportunities. We don’t even know if this one will help us.” You slapped his hand away. A momentary shock rippled through the two of you.
“It’s not a big deal. I don’t understand why you’re making it a big deal.”
“If it’s not a big deal, then you don’t have to go.”
“What the fuck happened to ‘We are on a mission together’?” You stepped closer. “‘Whether you like it or not, that was Lady Tsunade’s call’? Or does that just apply when I’m the one throwing the fucking tantrum.” Guy stayed silent as you challenged him. You puffed your chest out, face in close proximity to his as you glared. “I’m the point of contact so I get to call the shots.”
He spoke your name with a sigh. But you were out of the room before another word fell out of his mouth.
***
Your date rented out a whole private room for your date which made you wonder just how much more the ninja of the Sound were paid. He had taken you to a relatively nice restaurant too: a traditional place where he spoiled you with half the menu. Surely you were sore about being bought as nothing but an expensive ornament, but you couldn’t muster up the rage to be angry at free food (at least for the moment).
It was at that chabudai where you learned that his name was Shou, a Jonin-level ninja.
“Wow, that must mean you’re pretty strong, then.” You sighed, gazing with wonder into his eyes. Chiasa taught you that one. Shou looked to the side with a bashfully prideful smile.
“Well, I mean yeah, kinda.” He feigned modesty. “I mean, I’m kinda gonna be a big deal.” Your date shoved a piece of teriyaki into his mouth.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” You crooned. “You gotta tell me everything! All this ninja stuff is so fascinating.” The ninja chuckled, diving into his rice.
“Top secret, missy, I can’t tell you everything.”
“Oh who’s a girl like me gonna tell?” You giggled, leaning with your elbows propping you against the table. The Sound ninja hesitated.
“Maybe later, beautiful.”
You frowned inwardly despite the coy expression plastered to your lips. You weren’t about to push it right now.
***
It became abundantly clear that perhaps Tsunade put you in the right position as a host girl after all. You stared at the empty glasses on the table, then back at your date. The Sound ninja roared with laughter, once again, in a private booth at the club. You laughed along with him, showering him with flattery as you fed him drink after drink.
“The three L’s,” You remembered Yuzuki telling you. The memory reeked of cigarettes. “Liquor Loosens Lips.”
You snuggled into your target’s side, his arm loosely around your shoulders. The rim of your glass met your lips. A gaze lingered on your skin. Your eyes narrowed and your attention immediately snapped towards the bar.
Guy stared your direction, a cup in his hand and cloth in the other. His leer raked across you and you nearly shuttered under the intensity. Guy put the clean glass with the other. You kept waiting for a look of reassurance or a subtle wink to remind you that he was there for you, but he tore himself from your connection. His diverted eyes hit you like a door slamming in your face. A pang of hurt erupted in your chest. You scoffed. Your date didn’t notice.
You grasped the bottle of scotch by the neck and refilled the ninja’s drink.
“So, Mr. “Big Deal”, how did you manage that?” You shifted in your seat, laying a hand on Shou’s chest.
“It’s not exactly legal, sweetheart.” You toyed with his robes as you pouted.
“Clients tell me these sorts of things all the time.” You glanced back to the bar. Guy was already looking your way. “I doubt that anything you could say could surprise me.”
Your hand came over his as you grasped his drink. Your breath hitched as you trained your focus on your kekkei genkai. You let a spark pass which transformed into a trickle of controlled energy. The scotch met your lips. The drunken Sound ninja studied you, tongue wetting his lips as your head came to rest on his shoulder.
“I don’t know much about it,” He began, persuaded by nothing but your touch, “But some opportunities have come up among the ninja. Some serious cash is involved I know that.”
“How cryptic of you.” You glanced down, then back up. “Cash for what?”
“Information of course.” The ninja tapped his drink and you reached for the bottle, but someone grasped it before you did.
“Having a good time, Shou?” The unfamiliar ninja in front of you mused, reading the label on the side. Your date lifted his cup with a silent nod. Wasted. You focused on the chakra flow, making the information exchange as small and undetectable as possible.
A group of them stood in front of you. Two went around to help their comrade from his seat next to you. They tipped handsomely. You recognized them from your first night of work. The rest of the group patted Shou on his back and rustled his hair, helping him as he floundered to the back room. A woman trailed behind the main group. From your recollection, she usually stayed behind. You watched as they went, disappearing behind the curtained doors to the left of the bar.
You frowned at the table. They took the bottle of scotch with them. You began to neatly gather the empty liquor glasses onto the tray, but were interrupted once more. The unsettling feeling of a man standing to close sent a shiver down your spine.
“Excuse me, Yakushi-san. Let me clear this booth and I’ll be right with you.” You attempted a pleasant exterior. The uneasy presence lingered closely behind you. A hand made its way to your waist.
“Of course.”
Thank you to everyone who liked, reblogged, and followed. Your support means so much and is greatly appreciated.

Chapter 11: Cait (Part 2)
You ever get the feeling that something just isn't right?
Good. It’s not.
❃❃❃
“Man… it’s already midnight.” Cait said, checking their Scroll. “Are we sure there’s anything here?”
The four of them stood in the atrium of the dilapidated apartment block. Cobwebs smeared each corner and laced the demolished reception desk, the carpeted floor smothered in a thick layer of dust. The wooden door lay lopsided off its hinges, and large chunks of the wall had been completely broken out, letting in a chill breeze from the outside. Aside from the flashlights that Yuen and Sardion held, only a few slivers of moonlight illuminated the room, the electric lights having ceased working long ago.
“We only just got here, kid,” Sardion said, raising an eyebrow as he fanned a piece of cobweb from his hand. “You did say you were up for this, didn’t you?”
“Well, yeah, I’d just rather not have Professor Rook bawl me out for a late paper because I went on a wild goose chase.” Cait replied, scratching their brow.
“I’m sure that won’t happen,” Hattie said. “Professor Lionheart gave us the go-ahead for this case already, so I’m pretty sure that also covers any homework due.”
She paused, thinking to herself for a second. “Wait, was that why you were acting so jittery on the airship?”
“Not exactly.” Cait said, trying to avoid Hattie’s question.
“…Wait.” Yuen, having gone on ahead of them, had stopped in her tracks and was pointing just in front of where she stood. “Look right there.”
Cait, Hattie, and Sardion looked to where she was pointing. Leading up to the stairwell were faint footprints in the coating of dust on the carpet — freshly made.
“Huh. Ask and you shall receive…” Sardion mused under his breath, drawing his weapon, a handgun with a short blade attachment he had christened Joyeuse. “You think we’re not alone, Detective?”
“I don’t know yet.” Yuen replied. “Just do as I said back outside and keep your heads up.”
A few minutes later, the four of them had made their way five stories to the top floor and reached the end of the trail— the center of an outdoor patio. The railing around the edge was unfinished and broken, and what appeared to be a shallow rooftop pool was drained and coated with moss and mold. A fog cloud that was thick as gravy had begun to ominously drift across the rooftop just as they had exited the stairwell, obscuring most of their vision.
“Hey, are there any murderers up here?!” Hattie called out, attempting to wave some of the fog away with her free hand. “Yoo-hoo, anybody home?”
The other three gave her an odd look.
“…What exactly are you doing, Hattie?” Cait asked.
“I can’t see a thing up here!” Hattie said. “Maybe if I get their attention, they’ll just come out and spare us all the trouble.”
Cait groaned. “You think that perhaps they’ll be more trouble if they put up a fight?!”
“No biggie!” Hattie said with a shrug. “Sardion’s got a gun, Agave’s got a shotgun, you have your flails that… aren’t guns, and I’m packing a submachine gun that turns into a buzzsaw.”
“Gee, I feel safer already.” Cait said.
“I know, right?!” Hattie said, missing the sarcasm in Cait’s tone. “You’ve got nothing to worry about!”
“Enough,” Yuen interjected. “Back to business… this was the only way the trail led. If anyone’s here, then this is the only place that they could be—”
“Pussycat, pussycat… where have you been?” a voice echoed from within the veil of fog.
Yuen jolted, whipping around. Hattie jumped up with a yelp.
Cait did not utter a sound, but instead immediately froze in place.
“Who’s there?!” Sardion shouted as he raised Joyeuse, its barrel pointed into the thickest part of the fog bank ahead of them.
“I spy, with my little eye, a scaredy-cat who wants to cry…” another voice crooned.
“Cait?” Hattie asked, noticing her partner’s petrified look. “Cait, what’s going on with you?” She asked urgently, shaking them slightly by the arm.
“I—I— I know that voice…” Cait whispered to Hattie, suddenly turning to face her. “We need to get out of here.”
“What do you mean, ‘you know that voice’…?” Hattie said. “Sardion? Detective? I—”
“I’ll burn and cripple you…” the first voice echoed.
Sardion squinted, keeping his weapon levelled as he tried to see where the voices were coming from.
“I’ll slash and hack you…” sang the second voice.
Yuen took in a shaky breath, holding her shotgun steady, a bead of sweat rolling down her brow.
“I’ll rip and tear you to bloody ribbons and scatter you to the four winds…” the voices chanted in unison.
Hattie clutched Cait’s arm in a one-handed death grasp, her eyes darting wildly as she gripped her weapon - fixed in its submachine gun form - in her other hand.
A sudden gust of wind struck them head-on, and the fog parted along with it.
Just ahead of them stood two women — one in a black-and-violet suit, the other wearing what appeared to be a cloak of feathers, their metallic surfaces shimmering in the light of the shattered moon.
The suited woman gave them a smile devoid of warmth, her scarred lips parting to reveal a set of ceramic teeth. “There you are, Cait… now, be good and come over here. It’s time for you to go home.”
Cait didn’t respond.
“Who the hell are you two?” Sardion demanded, now aiming Joyeuse at the woman in the suit. “What do you want from us?”
“Oh, not that much, really,” the suited woman said. “We just want our little one back, so if you don’t put up a fight, we’ll try and make your deaths quick.” She chuckled darkly. “As for who we are… well, I’m sure you can deliver the introductions, won’t you though, Cait?”
“…How did you find me?” Cait hissed.
“Oh, come on. Is that how you greet your big sisters?” the woman with the metal-feather cloak said. “We haven’t seen each other for… it must be three years now?”
“You’re not my sisters. You never were, Nest,” Cait snarled. “Same goes for you, Moira.”
“Wait— sisters?” a wide-eyed Hattie asked.
“You couldn’t even pretend you missed us a little bit?” Moira asked, ignoring Hattie’s question. “We’d just about given up on our efforts to find you. If you hadn’t ran off like you did, we wouldn’t even need to have this conversation.”
“Cait, who are these people?” Hattie asked again, trying to get her partner’s attention to no avail.
Nest nodded to Sardion. “If you’d stayed, you could have helped us kill his teammates… aw, what were their names again? Yuzuki and Berto?”
“Yaara… and Berilo.” Sardion uttered, momentarily stunned by the woman’s revelation.
“You— you’re the ones that killed them?” Yuen asked tentatively.
“Oh, yeah. Nothing personal,” Nest said with a shrug. “They were just a couple of loose ends, like you are now.”
The feeling of shock and shred of fear in Sardion’s heart burned away, consumed by a rapidly kindling rage. “You… fucking… animals…”
“Oh, there we go.” Moira said. “Now that we’re all acquainted, why don’t we just get this over with? We’re on the clock.”
Sardion wordlessly released the safety on his weapon with a snap, and the Lightning Dust crystal embedded in the slide’s side glowed to life.
“No, wait, don’t shoot—!” Cait shouted, but they were too late.
Sardion fired, a single shot directly at Moira’s forehead. The muzzle of Joyeuse burst with a sound like a thunderclap, a bolt of lightning encasing a single tungsten bullet as it erupted from the barrel.
The bullet was a foot away from Moira’s head when it came to a complete stop. From the point of impact, a shattering effect appeared in the air itself, as if a giant pane of glass had halted the projectile.
“Nice try,” she smirked, as the shatter marks faded and the bullet dropped to the ground.
“What the hell was that?” Sardion breathed.
“I tried to tell you!” Cait said. “Her Semblance lets her create invisible barriers— nothing can get through them, even Dust!”
“Aw, don’t ruin the surprise.” Nest said, unfolding her wings from around her. “Let the big strong champion figure it out for himself. Hope he hasn’t been resting on his laurels… I want to have some fun before we leave.”
“Doesn’t seem like you have a barrier.” Yuen said, raising her shotgun at Nest.
“Nope.” Nest said. “I got these, though.”
She flicked the tip of her left wing, and a feather-shaped blade shot out in a flash of steel, slashing deep across Yuen’s leg in the blink of an eye.
“AAGH!” Yuen cried, sprawling, her shotgun clattering out of her grip.
“Detective—!” Hattie shouted, losing her focus.
“Damn, missed.” Nest said with a laugh. ““Didn’t see that one coming, did you? You’re next, bluey.” With a shrill grind of metal against metal, she dove for Hattie, seizing her by the collar and taking flight off of the roof.
She made it all of three feet away from the roof before she suddenly was yanked to one side, her leg caught by something. Looking down, she saw the head of a flail wrapped around her ankle, Cait holding on to the other end for dear life.
“You interfering little— get off of me!” Nest yelled.
“You’re not getting away with her!” Cait yelled back.
“You great big stupid buzzard…!” With her opponent’s attention on Cait, Hattie seized the opportunity to bash Nest square in the head with the butt of her gun. “Lemme go!”
Dazed by the strike, Nest fumbled and crashed on a lower rooftop, losing her grip on Hattie, who landed in a roll. Cait landed on their side, coughing as they kicked up dirt and dust.
“Fine.” Nest spat, pulling herself up. “Hard way it is, then.”
“C’mon.” Hattie said, helping Cait to their feet. “You ready for this?”
“We don’t have a choice.” Cait replied shakily. “Just stay alive.”
***
Sardion fired several more times at Moira as she advanced on him, but each and every bullet merely stopped short of hitting her, caught by the barrier in front of her.
“Look at you, thinking you’re so heroic.” Moira spat. “Where were you on the night my sister and I were tearing apart your dear old friends, big man? Where are you going to be when my sister tears that little girl limb from limb? Why didn’t you save any of them? You were a Vytal Champion, a paragon of a Huntsman, Sardion Sarikaya… so why are your teammates dead?”
“SHUT UP!” Sardion roared, blood pounding louder in his ears as his anger grew hotter.
“What was your Semblance… superhuman futility?” Moira’s smile widened, her tongue flicking in serpentine anticipation. “Don’t you think it’s past time to join them? A little reunion would be nice, wouldn’t it?”
“SHUT UP!” Sardion fired once more at her, the bullet freezing without landing. Again, cracks appeared in the air where the bullet had struck.
“That’s starting to get really annoying.” he growled.
“Oh, how rude of me.” Moira said. “Let’s finish this up, then.”
Sardion didn’t respond, only pulling the trigger again, futilely hoping that the next shot would make its mark.
Click.
He managed a glance at his weapon— not only was he out of ammunition, but the Lightning Dust crystal had been depleted. “Damn!” he cursed.
“Oh, I know that sound… got you!” Moira exclaimed, leaping into a lunge. Her prosthetic tongue shot out of her mouth as she closed the distance to Sardion, and before he had time to properly react, it had snared around his upper arm. Polymer barbs dug into his jacket, and she landed with her shins into his torso, knocking him to the ground.
“Guh-huhff-get the hell off of me!” He made to cut her away with the short blade on Joyeuse’s underbarrel, but she lashed out and seized him by the wrists, pinning his arms down with great effort.
“Uh-uh-uh, thon’t thrath about like that.” Moira lisped, her mouth still open. “Thith ith the good th’part.” With a hiss, she activated the artificial glands in her mouth, and acid erupted from the barbs on her tongue.
The fluid burnt through both Sardion’s jacket and his Aura in a split second before sinking into his skin, making its way through his flesh and bone alike.
Sardion wasn’t sure how he responded in that moment, but he wouldn’t have blamed himself if he had recalled screaming. The pain was like a thousand red-hot needles being driven into his shoulder, worse than any other he had ever felt in his life.
“Th’ere.” Moira leered over him, her sadistic smile growing wider as she strained to hold his arms back. “Ju’th th’give up a—”
BLAM.
A heavyweight slug nailed Moira square in the back. Her Aura flared for a moment, barely stopping them from breaking her skin. With a hiss of pain, Moira tore her attention from Sardion to see who had shot her. Her grip on Sardion went slack, her tongue unraveling itself from his shoulder as it retracted back into her mouth.
“Sardion!”
Leaning down in the pool basin behind the assassin, Yuen lowered her shotgun, her other hand pressed to her leg wound. “Finish it!” she shouted over her shoulder, wincing with exertion. Blood trickled out from between her fingers.
Moira turned back just in time to see Sardion levelling his weapon directly at her head.
“Go ahead.” she sneered. “I’ve still got enough Aura to take another bullet. Call it a parting gift for effort.”
“You wanted to know *hkk* what my Semblance was?” Sardion gasped through the pain. “Whatever I’m touching… can permeate anything.”
He pulled the trigger of Joyeuse. No bullet came from the muzzle, though— instead, the barrel of the gun snapped apart and folded into a guard, and the underbarrel blade extended into one of a full longsword.
The blade itself went directly through Moira’s barrier, through her forehead and out the back of her skull.
“Unkk--!”
Letting go of his weapon’s hilt, Sardion shoved her corpse off of himself and quickly shifted away. Acid began to leak from the corner of her mouth onto the ground, frothing and hissing as it melted through the concrete.
With no small amount of effort, he craned his neck to face Moira one more time, looking into her clouded and glazed eyes, half her visage now slick with blood as it leaked from around the still-embedded sword blade.
“That was…” he growled, “for my teammates.”
***
BLAM.
“Wha—?” Nest looked over her shoulder, caught off guard by the sound of the shotgun fire. “Don’t tell me the detective’s still kicking…”
“You should know never to take your eyes off your opponent!” Hattie yelled at her assailant, firing a burst of three bullets at her.
“And you should know better than to think you’ve got a chance, lolita.” Nest taunted, raising a metal to block the girl’s spray of bullets.
“Hattie, don’t drag this out!” Cait called, as they swung Entwined Catenary at Nest, who ducked the blow. “Come on, Nest, I’m the one that you want!”
“Don’t give up, Cait!” Hattie shouted. “We can beat her if we work together!”
“No, we can’t!” Cait shouted back. “The only reason we’ve lasted this long is because she’s just toying with us!”
“Listen to your friend there, girl.” Nest chuckled darkly, blocking another spray of bullets. “Honestly, of all the things, I would have never figured you for a Huntsman. You always gave in too easy, after all… you never stood by your own blood.”
“You’re not my blood.” Cait retorted. “And I made my choice. I’m not going back.”
Nest scoffed. “You brought this on yourself, you know. You just couldn’t do as you were told, just had to go your own way. If you’d stuck by your sisters, we could’ve really made something out of you.”
“What, turn me into a murderer like you?” Cait spat back, trying to land another strike with Entwined Catenary. “You’re insane.”
“Aw, I’m a murderer!” Nest laughed, knocking the head of Cait’s flail away with one wing. “I'm so happy you’ve been paying attention! I suppose now you’ll start crying when I rip apart your partner here, huh? Look how soft these “friends” of yours made you.”
“No.” Cait snarled. “There’s no way you’re hurting her.”
“Well, there’s the problem. I am gonna kill someone tonight, and it can’t be you.” Nest said. “News flash, Cait. You can go ahead and run away from your birthright as many times as you like, but it’s always gonna catch up to you. And when it does, it’ll destroy everything that’s standing in the way.”
Cait’s eyes narrowed, their Aura flickering around their hand. “Yeah, well… if I can’t outrun it, then I’ll kill it.”
Their Aura shimmered for a moment, an emerald pattern across their entire form as their eyes began to glow with an unearthly light.
“Cute. But too slow.” Nest bared her teeth, spreading her wings to their full span. “See if you can’t outrun this, either.”
Cait’s flare of Aura fizzled out the second they saw Nest’s stance.
“HATTIE, GET DOWN!” they shouted.
Just as Hattie threw herself to the ground, Nest launched into the air in a spinning fusillade of feather blades, the tips of her wings erupting as she ascended.
Part of the spray struck Cait head-on, knocking them over the edge of the roof. They hit the ground hard, feeling the wind being knocked out of them. Gasping for air and dizzy with pain, they looked up to see Hattie hop down from the roof and onto a moulded overhang, lowering herself to the ground and running over to them.
“No…” she gasped. “Cait, you have to get up, please…” Before she could help them to their feet, Nest landed a few meters away.
“Shit, don’t tell me I killed them.” Nest said, feigning concern. “You still kicking, kitty-cat?”
Cait loudly wheezed in a breath, drawing air back into their lungs.
“Phew.” Nest sighed, before turning to Hattie. “I guess it’s just you and me now.”
“Hattie…” Cait groaned. “Run…”
Every inch of her body quaking in terror, Hattie stood her ground, standing over Cait as she raised her weapon at Nest.
Nest grinned. “Good girl.” Before she could attack, though, a loud crash from the side caught all their attentions, something having fallen off the apartment’s roof above them.
“That yours, Moira?” she called out to the roof as she turned. “Don’t startle me like—” The color drained from her face as she laid eyes upon Moira’s body lying in the rubble, and she lost all interest in Cait and Hattie.
“NO!!” she screamed, her eyes wide with shock. “How… how…”
“Didn’t see that one coming… did you?” Cait coughed, repeating Nest’s words as they pulled themself onto one elbow.
“You… have no idea what you’ve… YOU’LL PAY FOR THIS!” Nest screamed once more, clutching Moira’s body close as she once again took flight— this time, however, away from the two students and the apartment.
“That’s right, you PUSSY! RUN!” Cait shouted after Nest as she fled, their voice nearly cracking with strain as her silhouette disappeared into the night sky. “AND YOU CAN TELL DAD I’M NEVER GOING BACK, EVER!” They tried to rise to their feet but fell to their knees, the rush of adrenaline fading to be replaced by exhaustion.
“Cait…” Hattie said, kneeling down beside them. “Y- you’re— you’re bleeding!”
Cait winced as she laid a hand on their shoulder. Several of the wing-blades had penetrated their Aura and resulted in shallow cuts, while the fall they had taken felt like it had broken a couple of their ribs.
“Yeah, I’m kinda feeling it now.” they said half-jokingly. “I’ll live, though.”
Hattie didn’t respond.
“Hattie…?” Looking up, Cait noticed that tears were beginning to stream through the grime on her face. “Hey, hey… why’re you crying?”
“I should’ve been able to protect you, Cait.” Hattie choked, her voice weakened. “I told you not to worry, but… I couldn’t do anything against her.”
Cait shook their head. “No. Don’t blame yourself, Hattie, you could have been— she was going to kill you. You should have run… why didn’t you?”
“I wasn’t going to leave you behind.” Hattie sniffled, wiping her eyes with the back of her glove. “You’re my partner. And you’re still hurt.”
“I’m gonna be fine, it’s nothing too bad,” Cait reassured her, placing a hand on her back. “I just hope the guys upstairs are better off. I don’t want to have to be the one who’s gotta fly the sailship out of this dump.”
***
“Well… I guess *h-huuuhh* that’s a lead after all…” Sardion murmured to himself, his voice thready and weak.
Gingerly clutching her leg, Yuen poked her head over the rim of the empty pool, where the two had taken emergency cover from Nest. “Hey, Sardion, stay awake. Stay with me, I can still get you help.” she said, her tone hurried with concern. “There’s a med kit on the ship, we just need to make it that far. I’ll get the kids, just stay here—”
“Ahh… *huuuhh*… it’s nothing. Hurts pretty bad… but worst comes to worst… *nnnuuuhh*… I’ll just have to learn to make do with ol’ righty… heh.” Sardion replied, managing a pained grin.
“This isn’t the time to joke.” Yuen said urgently, removing her jacket before tearing it into a makeshift tourniquet. “That arm’s barely attached, and you’re bleeding like a stuck Boarbatusk. You need serious medical attention, and fast.”
“Well, you did say… *huuuhh*… I should stay optimistic.” Sardion said. “And here I am… being optimistic.”

Keiko Aizawa: Origin “Her Shadows” (Chapter One)
It was the first day of classes at UA and I was less nervous than I probably should have been. I hadn't met anyone new from my class yet and I wasn't sure how well we would get along, not that I cared too much about making friends, but it's nice to get along with heroes you could work with in the future. You see, I got into the prestigious UA High School on recommendation from a few different pro heroes.
Allow me to back up for you. My name is Keiko Aizawa and I am a part of the 80% of the population that has a unique ability called a quirk. Mine is known as shadow manipulation and it does exactly as the name suggests, plus a few other things. I've been using it for years, training and pushing my limits so that I could be like my dad, the pro hero Eraserhead. He's not my biological dad, but he's more of a father than my real one. My biological parents are a story for another time.
Like I said, it was my first day of classes and the first day I would meet the rest of my classmates. I had to drag my ass out of bed at the crack of dawn in order to get to school on time and do my morning routine of going for a run and working out. I'm not exactly a gym rat because my social anxiety would actually manifest and kick my ass for making me go out in public to train, so Dad and I made a small at-home gym and training room so that we could both train, occasionally inviting my best friend over. I guess you could say my personality fits my quirk. I'm like a shadow in a room and lots of people don't notice me, which is fine by me. I don't want to be a pro hero like All Might, although I do respect him (who doesn't). I'd much rather be a hero like Dad, who stays out of the public eye as much as possible.
After I got out of bed, I walked sluggishly out of my room, petting my cat, Yuzuki, who was laying at the foot of my bed. I opened the door to the hallway and walked to the kitchen, where I figured Dad would already be waiting. Sure enough, there he was, sitting at the table and looking like he was half asleep, which he probably was. If you didn't know any better, you'd think that Dad and I were related by more than a name. We acted extremely similar and I even looked kind of like him after spending 8 years with him.
"Good morning," he said lazily, bringing his coffee to his mouth and taking a sip.
"If it was a good morning, I'd still be asleep," I retorted.
Dad snorted into his coffee as soon as I said that, but he composed himself again very quickly. I went about the kitchen looking for something to eat but didn't find anything. Guess we'll have to go grocery shopping sometime soon. I thought to myself. Instead, I poured myself a cup of coffee and grabbed a bag of chips that were definitely not meant to be eaten as breakfast. I was about to sit down across from Dad to eat when our two long-haired cats started circling around me and meowing, signaling that they were ready for their breakfast. Sighing, I set my breakfast down and poured their food into the designated bowls on the ground. I grabbed my breakfast again and sat down across from Dad.
"Are you still not going to tell me who my teacher is?" I asked for the millionth time since I found out I was accepted into UA.
"No," he responded. "You'll figure it out later today. Besides, you already know the majority of the teachers there."
"I know," I pouted while tossing a chip into my mouth. "But still, what's the point of having a dad who is a teacher at the school I'm attending, but not being able to know in advance who my teacher will be?"
"Maybe I should have just kept my job a secret then," he mused with a small smile on his face.
"Maybe you should have," I responded with a smile.
The rest of our breakfast was eaten with very few words exchanged. That's just how Dad and I were though. We didn't use a lot of words, so we showed our love with our actions instead. That's why he got me Yuzuki when I was eight years old. I had been bullied at school for my quirk and my eyes, which were obviously things I could control, and Dad happened to find Yuzuki, who shared a unique eye color with me, at a shelter. After that, I'd been bullied a few more times because of the scars I had on my face. There was an x-shaped one under my left eye and a vertical scar on the right side of my lips. The kids in my classes always found them unnerving. It was after those incidents that he finally pulled me out of public school and homeschooled me instead, which led to me hanging out around UA facilities a lot and meeting almost all of the teachers and faculty there.
"Are you ready for today?" Dad asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"I will be after I go for a run," I responded with a smile. "I don't want to get lazy just because I was accepted into the UA Hero Course. Also, Mako is coming over to go on my run with me this morning."
"Good idea," Dad said with a smile.
Mako, or Makoto Saeki, has been my best friend since Dad adopted me. He got accepted into U.A. through recommendations like I did. What he didn't know was that Dad was the one to recommend him. Makoto has an amazing quirk called 'buffer'. It basically allows him to create gravitational plates that he can use to walk on walls, ceilings, air, etc. We've trained with my dad for as long as I can remember and are practically siblings at this point. For the majority of our childhood, we've been over at one of our houses. His parents were both pro heroes, but they'd been killed in action by a pair of villains. So his grandmother, who owns UNERI CO., bought the house that was right next to ours for Makoto and his little sister, Ichika. They had a nanny, Shiore, over at the house, so Makoto was able to come over a lot to hang out with someone his own age. So it was only natural that we became as close as we did and that we began working out together when we decided to apply to U.A. At least three times a week we would go on a morning run together before our days really got started. Today was one of those days. I glanced at the microwave clock to see that I still had half an hour before I was supposed to meet him in front of the tree that stood between our houses.
As soon as I finished my "breakfast", I went to my room to grab my pill bottle and take my medicine, noting that I would have to ask Recovery Girl for a refill in a day or two. Then I changed into some sweats and a muscle tank top before pulling my dark purple hair back into a ponytail and pinning my bangs back so that they were no longer in my face. As I reached down to tie my sneakers' laces, I scratched Yuzuki's chin as he tried to force himself under my hands. Finally being able to tie my shoes with the cat on my feet, I stood up and stretched a bit. I grabbed my phone, earbuds, and the armband I put my phone in when I ran and walked out of my room. I passed by the kitchen as I put my armband on and put my phone in it.
"I'm heading out now, Dad!" I called into the house as I bent down to pet Hana, Dad's cat, one more time before I left.
"Be safe!" he called back. "Tell Makoto I say 'hello'!"
With a promise that I would, I walked out the door and closed it behind me, making sure neither of the cats escaped. I took a deep breath of the crisp morning air before walking to the tree Mako and I always met in front of and saw that he wasn't there. I checked the time just to see if I was early or if he was late, but was disappointed when I saw I was a few minutes early.
"Damn," I said quietly. "Now I don't have anything I can hold over him."
While waiting for Mako, I took the time to plug my headphones into my phone and find a song I wanted to listen to when we would start running. The few minutes passed quickly and Mako was right on time. His messy, deep maroon hair catching the morning light like his eyes. One of the things the two of us had bonded over was our eyes. They didn't look the same, but we'd both been bullied for them in the past. While my eyes had a kaleidoscope of blues and purples, Mako had heterochromia. His right eye was bright orange and his left eye was an equally bright red.
"Hey, Koko!" he said cheerfully, a bright smile on his face as he pulled an earbud out of his ear.
"Hey, Mako," I responded with a smile. "How are you doing this morning?"
"I'm doing alright," he said with a small pout appearing on his face. "Although, my orange shirt was still wet from the wash, so I had to wear my yellow one."
"Oh don't pout," I said with a small laugh. "Yellow suits you just fine."
"You're just poking fun at me because you were able to find your purple tank top today," he retorted.
"Whatever," I said while putting an earbud in, knowing it was true. "Are you ready to head out?"
"You bet," he responded, clicking shuffle on his music."Normal route?"
"You know it," I said with a large smile as I clicked play on my music and put the other earbud in.
The two of us made our way on our usual jogging route. As usual, we didn't talk about anything while running, but that may have also been because we were both anxious about what U.A. could bring for us. Within a half-hour, we got back to our houses and said our goodbyes so that we could do our separate morning routines. I walked back into my house, not breathing super heavily because I was used to the run, but my face was still somewhat flushed with exertion.
"You back already?" Dad asked from the kitchen sink, washing his coffee mug. "That was pretty quick."
"Guess Mako and I both have some nerves then," I responded, pulling my earbuds out of my ears and wrapping the cord for storage. "After all, we are starting the Hero Course today."
Dad hummed in agreement as I went back to my room to do some stretching before showering. As soon as I walked in, Yuzuki greeted me from my bed with a meow.
"Good to see you too," I mumbled while scratching under his chin, causing a purr to come from his throat.
Glancing at my alarm clock, I realized that I only had another half an hour before I had to leave with Dad to get to the school. Sighing, I stopped petting Yuzuki and began stretching. Afterward, I quickly showered and got changed into my school uniform. Pulling my mostly dry hair back into a half-up ponytail, I looked at myself in the mirror and gave myself a silent pep talk. I wrapped the hair tie around one last time before letting my hands fall back to my sides. I nodded at myself as I fixed my bangs a little bit, satisfied with my appearance, and walked back into my room from the adjoined bathroom. I walked over to my bed and grabbed my backpack and made sure it had all of the school materials I would need. After seeing I had all of my stuff, I slung my bag onto my back and gripped the strap.
"Kiki, you ready?" I heard Dad call from the front door.
"Yeah!" I responded. "I'm coming!" I turned back to my bed and bent down to give Yuzuki, who was still laying on my bed in "loaf mode", a kiss on the head, which he shoved into my face as an attempt to get attention faster. "Goodness, you're so needy," I mumbled, standing back up straight.
I pet his head one more time before walking out of my room and to the front of the house, where Dad was waiting with his hero gear on. When I got over to him, he didn't open the front door right away, but instead straightened my tie, which I had spent 10 minutes on to try to make it look presentable but apparently failed to do so. After he fixed it, I gave him a grin that he responded to with a wide smile of his own.
"Let's go," he said, pulling the front door open.
We both walked out of the house and to the car in the driveway. Makoto, with his hair styled this time and his school uniform on, walked out of his house at the same time and came over to the car.
"Hey, Mr. Aizawa!" He greeted cheerfully. "Thanks for agreeing to take me to school! Shiore wasn't sure what she was gonna do with Ichika if she drove me. She gets carsick, you know."
"It's no problem at all, Makoto," Dad responded. "I'm happy to help out. And please, as long as we're not at school, just call me Shota."
Makoto and I were two of the only people Dad ever let his strict and uncaring facade down around. With me, he never even bothered to try to keep his facade up but he tried to keep it up with Makoto around. He gave up on that too though after we'd seen him cry while watching the Lion King with us when we were kids.
"Alright," Dad started. "Hop in the car and let's get going, you two."
Mako and I nodded and both got in the backseat of the car. The car ride was pretty quiet, but that was also normal for us. It wasn't an uncomfortable silence like one might expect, but to someone outside of us three, it might appear to be so.
The car ride wasn't very long, maybe a half-hour or so, but it felt longer as I thought of all the possibilities of today. Soon enough, Dad pulled into the staff parking lot of the school, by the back of the building, and parked. As he turned the car off, Mako and I grabbed our bags and stepped out of the car, taking the time to stretch our legs before stepping toward the building. Right before we walked into UA High School, Dad stopped us.
"I'm proud of you," he said. "Both of you. You're exceptional young people and I'm sure you'll be some of the best students this school has ever seen."
I swear both Mako and I started tearing up as we practically threw ourselves into Dad's arms, hugging him tightly. I squeezed his waist tightly as I felt the tears start to overflow. Dad wrapped his arms around the two of us and we stayed like that for a few more seconds before Mako and I released him.
"We'll make you proud, Dad," I responded, wiping the tears from my eyes.
Mako nodded vigorously as he wiped his eyes as well. Dad let out a small chuckle and placed a hand on top of my head.
"Both of you already have," he responded with a smile.
Mako and I turned to each other with wide smiles before turning back to Dad, who put his hands in his pockets. Without another word, he gave us another smile and walked in through the door we'd opened, kissing the top of my head as he passed by.
"He's the kind of hero I want to be when I graduate," Makoto said.
"Same here," I replied with a small smile. "He does it for the right reasons and not for the fame."
"It is strange that not many heroes choose to be humble," Makoto told me with a newfound determined glint in his eyes. "I'll be one of them."
I nodded in agreement and we finally walked into the building, looking at the place that would be our path to becoming the heroes we longed to be. We stopped in the middle of the empty hallway.
"Ready or not?" I asked with a small smile, holding my fist out to Makoto.
"Here we come," he responded with a grin, bumping his fist with mine.

✦ = being well-dressed
This was strange. Like really strange, the kind of strange that makes you check your phone a few times on a few different occasions. From the moment he got the message it just felt ‘off’. Like this was some sort of trick or trap to make him look like some kind of fool. Granted, this is the kind of scenario he welcomes with open arms and questionable attires, but it still comes as… strange. Most of the times he and Yuzuki had hung out or spent time at the arcades or other strange Japanese attractions they were the epitome of casual. The only time he sees her wearing something that comes across as ‘formal’ is when she’s heading to work and sing at a club. And even then her attitude towards those jobs is so ‘sarcastic’ that the clothes don’t seem to fit her. Not that he doesn’t see her as attractive, that’s far from the case. From the first time he met her he’s been racking up the oggle points on that body.
This just wasn’t the way he was used to seeing her.
[Txt from:][YUZ]: YO! Wear your nicest tonight. And meet me here.[Txt from:][YUZ]: address attachment
He’d responded with a quick and simple ‘alright’ without thinking. It’s not like he had other plans. And it certainly wasn’t like he was going to say no for any other reason. So why not? And yet, as he fixes his suit jacket and messes with the cuffs he can’t help but feel… awkward? Not because someone had died when he wore this outfit last (getting the speck of blood out was a pain) but because… it felt awkward! This isn’t how he’d see him and Yuzuki going on a ‘date’. Not that they were dating. They were a ‘weird thing’ that did things and had fun but didn’t talk much about what they were. And he preferred it that way. Maybe she did too? Maybe it’d make things easier when he left the country for home.
When he does finally arrive (just a little late due to a run-in with another friendly local, some guy who he played a few card tricks on) she’s already there and waiting. Not that he notices at first. If it weren’t for the smirk on the woman’s face when she turned to see him (plus her wonderful chest) he may have wandered onward in his search and been really late. But as it turns out, a sharp looking Wylan stands out as Wylan more than a sharp looking Yuzuki stands out as Yuzuki.
“No way.” He says, disbelief the prevalent mask over features that should be blatantly impressed and enamored were he not a total ass. She looks absolutely amazing, the kind of style and femininity that shouldn’t be allowed to a woman like Yuzuki who’s amazing assets were “balanced” by nonchalance. Now the scale was broken and thrown into the garbage. At least until his staring seems to get the better of her.
“What’s that mean? Not impressed? Liar.” She mocks, striking a bit of a pose as a hand pulls through lightly curled locks. “I bet you fell for me all over again when knew saw it was me, didn’t you?” She challenges again, grinning fiercely. Wylan scoffs and rests a hand against his chest, as if her words inflicted a grievous wound.
“Again? Let the record show the one time I fell for you was during laser tag when you tripped me.”

Yuki holds a fashion show! Read on AO3 or under the cut!
Rating: G Pairing: none Warnings: none
Yuki was having a fantastic day.
Yuzuki and Flower, Yuki’s favourite babysitters had come to watch her, and the second they had stepped in the door, Yuki had taken each by the hand and dragged them as best as someone as small as she was could.
“Someone’s excited!” Yuzuki said fondly, placing a hand on Yuki’s head and messing up her hair.
“Yeah!” Yuki replied earnestly, tugging Flower’s arm a little closer.
“So what are we going to do today?” Flower asked Yuki.
As Flower asked her question, Yuki finally pulled the girls to their destination, her room.
“We’re gonna have a fashion show!!” Yuki declared, placing her hands in her hips in triumph.
Flower and Yuzuki exchanged smiles, amused by Yuki’s childhood antics.
“Just the three of us?” Flower asked.
Yuki nodded, pigtails swaying with the motion.
She pointed to Flower.
“You’re gonna be an announcer-y person.”
Flower cocked her head to the side.
“Really? What does that mean?”
Yuki dashed over to the shelf and grabbed a hairbrush left abandoned there.
“It means...” she explained, handing over the brush, “you say everything the models are doing while they’re going down the runway with this microphone!”
“This is a hairbrush.” Flower deadpanned.
Yuki pouted. “Flowerrrr!!”
Yuzuki laughed, nudging the older girl.
Flower groaned, but it was clear there was no real malice behind it. “If you say so, Yuki.”
“I do say so!” Yuki replied.
Now it was Flower’s turn to laugh. “Well I guess I don’t have a choice then, do I?”
“Nope!”
Yuki’s room was filled to the brim with toys and crafts. Her bed was covered so thoroughly with plush animals in all shapes and sizes that it was difficult to see the pink comforter and pillows atop the mattress.
Yuki ran towards the bed and leapt on top of it. She reached across the comforter, gathering as many plushies as her small arms could carry. Once she was satisfied, Yuki slid off of the bed and headed towards her closet.
Yuki had a rather large closet for a small girl, separate from the rest of her colourful little room by a large black curtain that opened in the middle, resembling curtains on a stage.
Setting herself on the floor a couple meters away from the opening of the closet, Yuki let the pile of plushies tumble from her arms and onto the ground.
“This is our audience!” Yuki explained, grabbing a stuffed fox and positioning it to face the closet. “I gotta make ‘em all sit up.”
Flower walked over to sit next to Yuki, gently taking a stuffed giraffe decorated in puzzle pieces and placing it beside a lopsided pink octopus.
“Once I’m done with the audience we gotta find a runway…” Yuki mused, patting a plush panda on the head.
“Runway huh…” Yuzuki thought for a moment before exclaiming, “I have an idea!” And grabbing Yuki’s little hand and walking her into the closet.
Flower could here a bit of whispering, and what sounded like drawers being opened and closed before-
“Ahaha perfect!”
The inky dark curtains split open to reveal Yuzuki beaming with pride, still holding Yuki in one hand, and a red bundle of fabric in the other.
“What’s that?” Flower asked.
“Well it was a scarf-“ Yuzuki unfurled the scarf in question, a long train of fabric swishing through the air and bouncing against the squishy carpeted floor.
“-now it’s a runway!” She finished, Yuki bouncing up and down excitedly.
Yuki glanced around the room, nodding at the scarf and plushes.
“Everything’s almost ready! Flower, go get in your spot!”
Flower gave a confused expression, only for Yuki to point towards a child sized chair in the corner of the room.
With a sigh, Flower accepted her fate, heading over to the chair near the wall to claim as her ‘announcers booth’, if they even had those in fashion…
Yuzuki walked across the room, hitting the light switch adorned with dozens of butterfly stickers.
The overhead lights flickered off, leaving only the twinkling fairy lights strung around the edges of the room. Despite only being small and dim, the collective glow was enough light for everyone to see.
Yuki darted across the room in the darkness, bursting through the curtains in a quick flash of light and disappearing from her babysitter’s view.
“It’s showtime!” Yuki called, voice slightly muffled by the curtains.
“Do you need any help?” Yuzuki asked, picking up her voice slightly.
“I can do it myself!”
“Alright!”
And with that Yuzuki settled down at the end of the scarf, between the piles of organized stuffed animals. After a few minutes of shuffling around, Yuki called out; “I’m ready~” and Flower’s opening began.
“Alright ladies, gentlemen, and esteemed guests, it’s time for the most fantabulous fashion show ever to be held in Yuki’s room!”
Yuzuki clapped.
“And here comes our star model, Yuki, wearing a gorgeous purple hoodie and green pants!”
Yuki made her way through the curtain, walking step by step across the scarf, pausing at the end to wave to Yuzuki before turning on her heel and making her way back.
Over and over, Yuki would try on various outfits, being met with excitement and cheer each time.
No matter what she wore, whether it be a torn up and sewn together hoodie or a paint covered white dress, the other girls cheered with vigour and Yuki’s excitement grew.
She walked out in a purple dress covered in a vest with white frills at the bottom.
“Hey, didn’t I give you that?” Flower asked, momentarily breaking character.
Yuki pouted at her until she resumed her role.
“-and here’s a piece from the Flowers-Hand-me-Downs collection, look at our model rock it.”
Yuki, contented, continued her path.
Another outfit, this time a train conductor's costume, and Yuki made her way down the scarf yet again.
Yuki giggled, twirling on the toe of her tiny brown heeled shoes. Her other foot made its way back to the ground, hitting the other foot with a satisfying clack as Yuki abruptly stopped her twirl. Her pigtails swished with the leftover momentum as she planted herself firmly facing forward.
“Ta da!” She cried out gleefully, facing her audience of one.
Yuzuki grinned back out at her, clapping her hands enthusiastically.
This time however, instead of turning back around and back into the closet, Yuki stepped off the scarf and headed over towards Yuzuki.
She kneeled down and whispered something in her ear, inaudible to Flower.
“What’s this? It seems our amazing model has headed off into the audience! What could she be planning?”
Yuzuki nodded at something Yuki said, then proceeded to stand up, taking Yuki’s hand and walking along with her into the closet.
“It seems as though our model has taken an audience participant! I wonder what she’s planning, and why she didn’t choose me instead!” After a few moments of shuffling, drawers open and closing, finally, finally, Yuki and Yuzuki walked out.
“Why here comes our model again, dressed in her finest red and white dress, featuring checkered accents! Along with her is our audience participant, wearing the finest bunny hoodie that money can buy.”
Flower squinted at the others in the darkness.
“What’s this? Esteemed guests, I do believe our model- our models, are wearing matching butterfly hair clips! What a bold and expressive look!”
Sure enough, pinned among Yuki’s dark locks and Yuzuki’s purple pigtails sat a small butterfly hair clip. Pink for Yuki, Blue for Yuzuki.
The pair walked hand in hand across the floor, Yuki starting to skip instead of walk. Once they reached the end, Yuki walked off the carpet yet again, heading for the corner where Flower was sitting.
“Oh my! It looks like our star model is heading off the runway again! What could she be planning now!”
Yuki skipped all the way to Flower’s chair, reaching into the pocket of her skirt and pulling something out.
“This is for youuu~”
Yuki whispered like it was a secret, pressing a third matching clip into Flower’s palm, then heading off to return to Yuzuki’s side, where the two finished their walk, heading back into the closet.
Flower smiled warmly, pausing to clip the purple pin into her own short and jagged hair before concluding her narration.
“Well folks that concludes this year's fashion show!”
With that said, Yuzuki flicked the lights back on, and Yuki took a bow, running out to the end of the scarf to do so.
Flower and Yuzuki headed from their respective positions towards Yuki, leaning down to give her a hug.
“You did an amazing job, Yuki!” Yuzuki praised.
“Such dramatic flair!” Flower added, giving Yuki a quick pat on the head.
“Did you really like it?” Yuki asked. “Really and truly?”
Yuzuki and Flower nodded earnestly and Yuki grinned.
It was, by far, the best game of fashion show Yuki had ever played. (Or at least, until next time Flower and Yuzuki came over.)

Peer into my muse’s memories
Seeing her home slowly crumble to pieces due to her own two hands always sent a shiver down her spine. It was a scene she constantly had pushed to the back of her mind, never acknowledging it unless it was brought up or she did something that would remind her of it.
It was her own home. She and her family lived there, living in the facade of the idea she and everything her life would be were normal. The memories were vague and hardly comprehensible, but she could remember her mother’s and her younger brother’s faces vividly. She could remember being there made her happy.
But she destroyed it.
The spark of unexplained rage consumed her much similarly to how her recognizable azure flames did in the same instant. The urge to vent her destructive impulses became too much to handle and she did just that; tore away at everything within her path.
Her family was no exception.
Multiple parts of the memory were lost to time, but one thing that would forever torment her is the image of her family perishing within the flames. Only then would she snap out of her spontaneous rampage, but at the cost of realizing it all too late.
It was a terrible accident that Yuzuki would never forget nor forgive herself for, no matter what others might say. It would forever haunt her no matter how hard she’d try to forget it. It would forever terrify her of her own power for the rest of her existence, and a constant fear of becoming close with anyone else and them suffering the same fate.
It was her home. It was her family. It was her life— her happiness.
And she slaughtered it like the DEVIL she is.

jonouichi yuzuki facts part one.
she is baby. she definitely takes after yuugi, she’s kind of lesbianlet and she can be very polite. like both her parents she’s very selfless. she’ll take the lesbian leather jacket off of her shoulders to keep you comfortable if you asked. but also she’s got kind of a temper and will lovingly bully you. especially with scarcasm.
she’s kind of a goth. right now her hair is blonde, but usually the tips are purple. she really likes to put it up in buns when there is purple in it.
her primary rival is kaiba tatsuki, they are besties, they’re frenemies, they’re kicking boys in the face with yuzuki’s dyke boots.
yuzuki is currently ranked 4th for her age group. under jack atlas, tatsuki kaiba, and yuusei fudo. the comparisions are killing her very quickly.
her playlist can be found here.

DON'T!
PIN MY MUSE || [ Open ]
Send “DONT” to pin my muse against the wall to prevent them from LEAVING
He’s not sure which part of it surprises him the most. It should be noted that none of this was normal for her. For Yuzuki. He hardly believed her capable of doing something so.. what? What would he even call this? That’s a start then isn’t it. What is happening? No. What happened before? What lead to this? Ok, more of a start, but Wylan has zoomed out in his mind to several stages just to try and begin to grasp (as Yuzuki is currently to him) what’s transpiring. What it means to him. Because what’s happening here is a moment.
So much for a quick smiling goodbye.
It was time for him to leave Japan. The end of his little scheduled vacation had come to an end. Vacation +1 week actually. Katelynn and her little ‘squad’ had hence returned without their informal chaperone. He may have stayed longer if he could. But there were things to tend to back in the states that it would be unwise to leave unattended for much longer. There was too much riding on his life to let pleasure and relaxation ruin. As much as he may want it to.
Goodbye. Don’t. His back against the door. Had he ever heard Yuzuki say something like that before? Certainly not in that tone of voice. He’d heard Yuzuki speak in many different ways. Hushed, excited, lusting, laughing. Hard to believe everything he had experienced with her in such a short amount of time. His mind grasps at the happy aspects of his visit and not what his leaving may mean for him. For her. But he’s always done this. Slips in and out of various lives and places as if he were a lace snaking its way through the various holes in a shoe. Well, I found my shoes so I guess I better get going.
Don’t.
Wylan isn’t able to meet her gaze, she refuses to look at him but he can only imagine that her face isn’t pleasant. It’s pressed into his chest as her hands bunch at the fabric of his shirt. He hasn’t touched her yet, bags still laden within them as he holds them aloft. Yet. The bags drop to the ground and he drops his hands to her shoulders, attempts to pull her face away from his chest so his fingers can drift to cup at her chin and hold it so he can see those warming brown eyes.
“You know I would stay if I could. And besides.” He tucks his own expression into a smile. An attempt at one. It’s passable. “You have my number. My twitter. And a few other things. I got infinite long distance minutes and data and... I’ll have to get back to you on just what the plan is. But the fact and point of the matter is you can call me. Text me. Bother me. I encourage you to. Because if you don’t....” He chuckles weakly. “Then I’m really really gonna miss you.”
