This is how I take down #thanksgiving #leftovers . Behold, my #lunch from earlier today. I call this the #layeredleftovers #bowl . It’s layered as follows: The bottom layer is: #pintobeans , followed by #mashedpotatoes topped with #sawmillgravy . The next layer is #greenbeancasserole topped with the requisite #friedonions , and the top layer is #hashbrowncasserole . Smush it all down so that it fits neatly in the bowl, heat that bad boy up for about 2 and a half minutes in the microwave (since the ingredients are coming straight out of the refrigerator) and you end up with a #gastronomicconcoction that can only be described as a multi flavor explosion. Way over a decade since last visit to this chain, a billboard got me in Cheesecake Pancakes for the Win. So many negative reviews so sad, shout out to Kelly our superstar waitress. What a pleasant surprise two large Pancakes Stuffed with Cheesecake Batter topped with Whipped Cream n Strawberries OMG. Came with a couple Eggs n Thick Cut Bacon absolutely Delicious deal. I added Sausage Patties n Bowl of Sawmill Gravy, they named it correctly Hillbilly folks know well. Along with some Cathead Biscuits be a proper Southern Thang. She had wonderful Chicken Breast Marinaded in Buttermilk over night n great coating smoothered with Gravy. Sid of Fried Apples and Hashbrown Tots topped with Bacon n Cheese. Really good prices just over 30 bucks will get us back soon. Don't believe all those hater's on Yelp and Google. Full house New Year's Day 2022 first time ever had to wait for a seat it was just a few minutes. All hands on deck six employees working hard on a holiday, many take out orders too. Some crazy lady rubbing beads by the front door praying for customers. I spotted a Macedonia Cock which Bri brought to me for photos and a wee bird with it's head partially bitten off. Me craving Biscuits and Gravy n Hillbillies Steak and Eggs, yes the very best place to get these southern classic meals around town. The thick cut slices grilled on the flattop with Eggs n Taters and a bowl of real deal Sawmill Gravy just like in the south. No Phillip here it be George the master of the grill got mad skills.
