Okay but in all seriousness, I kept seeing this meme going around and I wanted to do it with my own little guys. I feel like I put too much time and effort into this silly thing, but I like it.

And as for the comic, I'm slowly working my way back into it. I apologize for leaving it on hold for so long. Brain can't stay focused on something longer than a week it seems. But I'm trying, and that's what matters!

I am now offering two new commission types! Pricing is static to take the guesswork out of commissions. I'll put commission info and more examples under the cut but to summarise, I'm offering what i'm dubbing Pokemon Showcase Sheets for $100 USD and Fakemon designs from $50 USD (+25 for each additional form/evolution relating to the first design) Please have a look at my examples below!! theyre quite cool!!!!!

Pokemon Showcase Sheets

come with a Stylised fullbody of your choice, along with 5-6 silly little doodles to accompany it. lil expressions, evolutions, alt forms, stuff that relates to the pokemon of choice. you can make requests, you can leave it up to me. i'll do memes if you want em. just simple little things to fill in the space.

Got a concept for a pokemon you want seen brought to life? wanna see your pet as a pokemon? your OCs? just want a cool design for a lil guy??? come check out my fakemon option! for $50 I'll design you a guy, and $25 for each additional guy relating to that first guy (alternate forms, evolutions, whatever you wanna call what guys like throh and sawk have goin on idk what that is but its queer for sure)

as much info as to what you want is obviously appreciated, but i'll keep you involved in the design process regardless of how specific you wanna be! you give me a concept or a vague idea or some references, i'll send you my initial thoughts and sketches. we'll settle on a design, you toss me some money, and i'll line colour and shade it! Some examples of my fakemon designs below (the first one was a commission I took to fakemon someone's pet dog!)

Read on for the rant that inspired me to make this meme.

God, the dopamine rush of finding a Mold Breaker Axew in a Nuzlocke is stupendous. See, I need Mold Breaker specifically for two interactions in the entire game, whether White or White 2. Ghetsis has an Eelektross with Levitate and Marshall has a Sawk with Sturdy. Without Mold Breaker, it's highly unlikely/impossible to OHKO those Pokémon. Yeah. One encounter actually dramatically alters my strategy against those two. It kills me that in the Axew line, it's a 50/50 with Rivalry, because then it's an additional 50/50 every battle whether Rivalry will fuck with you or not.

Now, my strategy with the Axew in any Gen V Nuzlocke is to catch it, box it, then take it out and evolve it fully for the Elite 4 (White)/Ghetsis (White 2). Mold Breaker makes it a stand-out performer against Ghetsis and Marshal. Rivalry, though? Here's the gender breakdown of those endgame opponents' teams. This is true regardless of game and difficulty.

Shauntal - all female

Marshal - all male

Grimsley - all female

Caitlin - all female

Iris - all female except male Archeops

N - all male except genderless Klingklang

Ghetsis - all male

(Bonus) Alder - all male

Ghetsis in B2W2 is a bit easier to deal with because you can overlevel him by at most 6 levels, but if you don't have exactly the right tools to deal with him AND Kyurem, you're in for trouble. So it's a catch-22. A female Rivalry Haxorus will be great in the E4 and Iris but suck against N and Ghetsis, and a male will be the reverse. Seeing as I've wiped to the E4, N, Iris, and Ghetsis all before, I can say that you want as much in your favor in every battle.

So yeah, Rivalry is cringe if you're against the opposite gender but based if you're against the same. Too bad the complete inconsistency makes the entire ability cringe. Especially when Luxray (an early and great encounter in DPPt/BDSP) could have Intimidate, which is probably the best ability in a Nuzlocke. With Shinx at least, it's potentially your first encounter and it's easy enough to reset or just reroll if you're like me and reroll first encounters if I want. Axew? Run altering. It's fucked.

One amend. Humans were pokemon at one point. They just for some reason developed society and technology whereas pokemon did not. Maybe we will get more lore with paldea dlc or another arceus like game.

Humans are actually stronger than most pokemon. Meme wise there is the fact that an 11 year old can pick up a 100kg pokemon like teddy bear. But there are many cases of humans training with pokemon. Humans on average would probably just equal strength to low level fighting/psychic Pokemon if they are like a school kid/office worker.

Primary example of strong humans being fighting type gym leaders. These people spar with their own pokemon and trained them not by the standard method but by physically fighting them as their superior.

Hmm now I really want to make a human genome tree for pokemon. Like are sawk and Throh based proto humans in that world? Are Alakazam a convergent evolution or a "relapse" into pokemon focusing on psychic ability?

Black and White was my introduction to Pokemon and i remember finding one of these guys round the 2nd gym, and…..holy crap….I loved the Sawk i had, just an overall BEAST who helped me reach the title of champion
