I need to take one moment to appreciate how much I love any kind of work related to my/our stories, even if it’s just a small AU written by one of our authors ( @arianna-nuvola, in this case). I love waking up and finding out a small sketch with Yoshinobu and Nozomi in the same time, let’s not even talk about a whole fanfic chapter 😍
Hawk and Falcon - Chapter 1 - arxanna https://archiveofourown.org/works/46268545/chapters/116485315
(beside that, if you still haven’t read her story Kizuna but you'd like to know more about the Sawada Legacy, I suggest you to try reading it! Ari has a very simple but detailed writing style, and her knowledge of japanese traditions is stunning 🧡)

Meta Asks: If Your OC Was Canon, for Ryo! (Hi June qwq 🩵 sorry if they're many questions but they're so interesting I couldn't resist)
What would be the ‘incorrect but wildly popular’ interpretation of your character in fandom?
Are there any tropes fandom would put upon your character, for better or for worse?
What is the wildest crackship you can imagine for your character, whether in-universe or in crossover?
HI MYELL!! ✨️ Thank you for taking the time to ask, and don’t worry, it’s not too many questions. You can send in as many as you want. Don’t resist it! Sending you lots of hugs!! 💙💙
《 Meta Asks: If Your OC Was Canon 》
─────── ⋆⋅✿⋅⋆ ────────
Rio
What would be the ‘incorrect but wildly popular’ interpretation of your character in fandom?
She's just a genderbend version of Takeshi and a tomboy.
And it's all good because half of the time it's her intention (the other half is passing as an NPC).
Are there any tropes fandom would put upon your character, for better or for worse?
Following the previous question, this interpretation of Rio could lead the fandom to see her as the token useless female character who only exists to get in the middle of their BL ships and ruin them.
What is the wildest crackship you can imagine for your character, whether in-universe or in crossover?
This one is pretty difficult, I tend to see every ship outside the few I consider reasonable for her as crackships.
Let me twist it a bit. The crackiest ship that has happened would be Sawada Yoshinobu in a Taisho era AU, not endgame, but they were cute.

Somehow I managed to get them all related
Headcanon:
Well, I really like Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I really like Byakuran, Mukuro, Hibari and Tsuna, especially Byakuran. Now, I was playing with headcanons and thought it wouldn't be unusual for many mafia families to be related to each other if they wanted to maintain "purity" of blood. I thought that if you searched your family trees, you would find members of different families, including the Vongola. So I said to myself, I want the Tri-ni-sette skies to be related and I started to see how they could.
Since we have the Sawada family tree more or less complete and I could see more or less how many generations there were, I decided to expand it a little.
Ambrogio Fabbri, later known as Giotto di Vongola, would move to Japan, taking three of his guardians with him: Luigi "G" Sorrentino, Ugetsu Asari and Carlo "Knuckle" Corazza. Alaude le Tellier would leave with them, but would eventually find his way to China where he would meet his wife, Míngxiá Wǔ, member of the ancient Wǔ clan. Damian "Daemon" Spade would stay in the mafia, becoming Secondo's Mist, and Lamberto "Lampow" Balzarini would escape to Liguria where he would marry Danila Bovino, a farmer's daughter.
Giotto would take with him Daemon and Elena Weatherington's biological daughter, Helen, who would have been no more than 4 years old at the time.
In Japan, Giotto would meet and marry Ayako Urushisako, and together they would have Yoshimune Sawada. Yoshimune Sawada would in turn marry Sakuya Uryūhara, and have twins Yoshinobu and Nobuyasu Sawada. From here the divergence of the canon begins.
Yoshinobu would marry Nogiku Kohinoki, and continue the family line until reaching Iemitsu Sawada, who would marry Nana Hitogi and they would have Tsunayoshi Sawada.
Nobuyasu Sawada (OC) would leave Japan to return to his Italian roots, because he felt it was "calling" him. He would meet and fall in love with Fiammetta Gesso, the only daughter of a landowner who was slowly becoming a mafia family. After marrying, he would adopt his wife's surname and would also have twins, Raffaello and Michele Gesso, of whom Michele, the youngest, would become the heir of the family because Raffaello would fall in love with the Sixth Chief of the Giglio Nero famiglia, Sibilla Giglio Nero and would become the father of Marcella Giglio Nero, who would give birth to Luciana "Luce" Giglio Nero, making him the great-great-grandfather of Eunice "Uni" Giglio Nero.
Michele Gesso and Iolanda Passantino would have Uriele Gesso. Uriele Gesso in turn would marry Romina Cavallone, and from their marriage Gabriele Gesso would be born. Gabriele Gesso would marry Maria Sole Scicolone, but she would turn out to be sterile, so he would look for a child in the Japanese fashion designer, Setsuka Nishikiori, who came from Namimori. Setsuka was unaware that her lover was married and a mafia member, and by the time she discovered it, she was already pregnant. In desperation, she fled to the United States with her unborn child and would change her identity to Selina Nield, giving her son two names at birth: Barnaby Nield and Byakuran Nishikiori. But despite her efforts, Gabriele would finally find her seven years later and order her murder. After that, he took custody of his son.
That's more or less what I have of the Giglio Nero and Gesso families. He has many OCs (if you can say that), but remember that there is no information on the family life of Giotto and his guardians after leaving the mafia, and asexual reproduction in humans is currently impossible so the children had to come from somewhere. From my point of view, for such a great resemblance, the boys should at least descend from the guardians.
Maybe if I get up to it, I'll do something with the families of G, Knuckles, Daemon and his daughter mentioned here, who is Mukuro and Chrome's ancestor
PS: Fon belongs to the Wǔ clan, in fact he is the younger brother of the current matriarch. The Wǔ clan is a Chinese clan of martial artists who have existed for at least a thousand years and are capable of using dying will flames. The Hibari family is a secondary branch that descends from some of them who left China for Japan, and it is not strange that every few generations some members get together.

Questa nuova serie animata è diretta da Takayuki Hamana (Toshokan Sensou, The Prince of Tennis) presso Studio Deen (Kochouki: Wakaki Nobunaga, The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods). La sceneggiatura è curata da Reiko Yoshida (D.Gray-man, Violet Evergarden), mentre il character design è ad opera di Takahiko Yoshida (Cells at Work! Lavori in Corpo).

At least eight staff at a Japanese hotel hosting Brazil’s Olympic judo team have tested positive for coronavirus, local officials said Thursday.
Health and sports officials at Hamamatsu city, west of Tokyo, said virus screenings were done before the judo delegation of around 30 members arrived there on Saturday.
None of the infected individuals came in contact with the athletes, they said.
The news comes as Tokyo prepares to host the Olympic Games mostly behind closed doors, with strict anti-infection measures placed on athletes, officials and journalists.
“Only those who have proof of a negative test are working” with the judo team, said Yoshinobu Sawada, a sports official at the city.
“We explained to the team that only (healthy workers) are in the bubble. We think they have understood the situation and our counter-infection measures,” he told AFP.
A family member of one of the infected hotel workers also tested positive, Hamamatsu officials added.
Tokyo is currently under a virus state of emergency, with infections surging. The city recorded 1,149 cases on Wednesday, the highest figure since January.
Several areas around the capital are under looser virus restrictions.
Olympic participants will be subject to strict virus rules and kept largely away from the Japanese public.
The International Olympic Committee said Wednesday that of over 8,000 people who arrived between July...

I love Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Re-watching it still gives me goosebumps, but I’m not here to talk about how awesome both the manga and anime are. Ohoho.
Anyway, see this guy? That’s Vongola Primo aka Giotto aka Sawada Ieyasu. For those not familiar with the show, he is the founder of the strongest mafia famiglia in Italy, if not the whole world, Vongola. He is also the great great great (10x) grandfather of the protagonist, Sawada Tsunayoshi (Vongola Decimo). So he’s technically dead in the series, showing up as an apparition from time to time to guide his great great great grandson.
I was re-watching KHR! today when I remembered the trivia about Giotto. Giotto’s Japanese first name, Ieyasu, was taken after from none other than Tokugawa Ieyasu himself. Also, Giotto’s descendants Sawada Iemitsu (Tsuna’s father) and Tsuna himself, are named after Ieyasu Tokugawa’s grandson and great grandson, Tokugawa Iemitsu and Tokugawa Tsunayoshi, respectively.
Actually, Giotto’s descendants before Iemitsu and Tsuna were also named after the Tokugawa Shoguns - Sawada Yoshimune (Tokugawa Yoshimune, 8th Shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate), Sawada Yoshinobu (Tokugawa Yoshinobu, 15th and last Shogun. AND OH, HE’S KEIKI IN DTL! hihihi), and Sawada Ietsuna (Tokugawa Ietsuna, 4th Shogun).
This isn’t Midc, DTL of IkeSen related but I’m just too amazed at the fact to ignore this. Hihihi. :))

I would like to make some corrections, though: The illustrational part, at least half of it, isn’t done by Sawada Hajime, artist of the old Orphen manga, but Kusaka Yuuya, the illustrator of the original Majustsuhi Orphen light novels (fittingly, as Araizumi illustrates the Slayers novels). Also, one could say that the bulk of the collaboration is between Akita Yoshinobu and Kanzaka Hajime, authors of the Majustsushi Orphen and Slayers light novels, respectively.
The whole thing also exists in drama CD form, which is amazing because on the one hand it’s bloody hilarious and on the other hand it’s the only place where you’ll find Orphen’s image song (or character song or whatever you kids call it these days), Deep in the Darkest Blue. The only gripe I have with the drama is that I think Midorikawa Hikaru should have voiced both Zelgadis and Keith, as Keith’s new seiyuu sounds like a horse when laughing, which I found very irritating, especially in conjunction with Naga’s ojousama-laugh... But other than that it’s amazing and very much worth listening :D
Hajime Sawada and Rui Araizumi collaborated in this project for Dragon Magazine as the artists for Sorcerous Stabber Orphen and Slayers respectively. this seems to be an illustrated novel where Orphen and Lina Inverse and their companions all meet! the artwork is meshed together extremely well, and all of it is fun and lighthearted. i grin at the thought of these two magic-users ever crossing paths ๑>◡<๑

The dead’s day
The autumn afternoon was recognizable, the coolness forced everyone to wear heavy coats, while the streets were teeming with people preparing to choose how to spend the evening. Halloween had just passed and some locals still had to remove the decorations, soon replaced with Christmas ones. It was the day of the deads and some people took advantage of it to go and visit deceased relatives and friends. The Namimori cemetery was quiet, there were not many people. The young Sawada had never been to that place before, and she ventured among the tombs, looking carefully around. She had never done this before, she hadn't felt the need, yet she wanted to visit the Sawadas of the past, those who already visited her in dreams. Finally he spotted the area where Sawada Yoshimune, Yoshinobu, Ietsuna and their wives Sayuri and Reiko rested in peace, in the silence of the slowly descending night and away from the traffic and noise of the crowded streets. The brunette knelt in front of the graves, with a serious expression and blank stare.
- Family. -
He was not there, he had been separated from them and was resting in peace with his guardians in your homeland, Italy. However, his wife was in his place, next to their son. Still, it wasn't painful, it didn't matter. They were all Sawada, together, in front of her.
- Hi, Family. I'm a Sawada too ... I think. -
The girl whispered a few words, observing the various graves and imagining the faces of their owners. She knew them all, even though in her dreams she had only seen Yoshimune and Yoshinobu. Ietsuna was her great-grandfather and she had somehow known him years earlier. She felt lucky to have met him before he passed away. However, she didn't have time to take courage and ask him questions. Still, that wasn't what mattered, now.
- I ... I came to visit you because I felt ... I felt I wanted to talk to you. I am close to you because ... my dreams, yeah ... but ... -
She sighed, tired and quite full of different emotions, lightly shaking the flowers in her hand.
- ... I know you don't know who I am, and I'm just a stranger to you but ... - she exhaled and inhaled a couple of times, hoping to be able to continue the discussion without having a panic attack - .. I-I ... just wanted to say hello. Though I wanted to be close to you, not in a dream ... I wanted to come here, give you these flowers and tell you that ... even if I'm a nobody ... even if I'm just an ordinary girl ... you are my family ... at least, that's how I feel... -
She placed flowers on each tomb, on all the Sawadas and also on the wives, including the tomb of Primo's wife. The girl got up slowly, observing the cemetery now shrouded in darkness and fog. She wiped her tears with her sleeve, sighing. She hadn't been able to convey her feelings, she felt sad enough.
In the darkness of the night, tiny lights like fireflies twinkled in the air around the graves. Nozomi turned to go back, when she felt a warm presence touch her cheeks and shoulder. Then a perfume, and incomprehensible whispers. She turned to look at the tombs once more, perplexed, as the whispers became more vivid.
"Thanks for the flowers, Nozomi."
She remained motionless for a few moments looking at the lights with a shocked expression.
"Don't worry. We, your family, love you."
It was only a faint whisper, and it vanished with the lights. For sure, the tears on the girl's face did not fade but increased.
She bowed very respectfully, turned and took the road back. This time less demoralized but with great hope for the future.
- Thank you. -

Sawada Yoshinobu's Bio
Name: Sawada Yoshinobu
Title: Black Hawk
Birthday: March 25th
Gender: Male
Height: 179 cm
Weight: 66 kg
Blood Type: A
Relatives:
Giotto/Sawada Ieyasu (grandfather)
Hotaru (grandmother)
Sawada Yoshimune (father)
Sayuri (mother)
Takahashi Reiko (wife)
Sawada Ietsuna (son)
Sawada Iemitsu (grandson)
Sawada Tsunayoshi (great-grandson)
Sawada Nozomi (great-great-granddaughter)
Sawada Ieharu (great x3 grandson)
Sawada Honoka (great x4 granddaughter)
Appearance
Yoshinobu had a short dark brown hair and he had a scar across his left eye resulted in a gang fight. He was often seen wearing kimono with white shirt and dark blue necktie, hakama and black boots. He sometimes wore a school cap when he was at school. When he was working as an accountant, he wore a light brown suit, white shirt and black necktie.
Personality
Yoshinobu’s personality was different from his father (Yoshimune) and his grandfather (Giotto). He was rather serious and he was the type of person who was hard to befriend with, a trait he had if from his mother. Right after the death of his mother, he grew colder towards anyone and he held an extreme grudge against someone who had caused his mother's death. He even resorted to use violence to solve the problem and had recently joined gang fights. However, after Giotto's death, Yoshinobu’s cold personality had changed and he constantly blamed himself for hurting his grandfather's feelings. He became a responsible parent after his wife gave birth to a baby boy before she passed away.
Equipment and abilities:
Hand to hand combat: He was trained to fight by his mother and soon began to learn other types of martial arts. During his time, he was unbeatable because of his advanced agility and he never used any weapons to fight aside from his hands. Because of it, he was given a nickname, Black Hawk.
Brass knuckle: A metal weapon that was worn over the knuckles and it was used to increase the injuries caused when hitting someone. Yoshinobu received it from Noriaki as a friendship gift and he had been using it in the gang fights. After realising that he had hurt many people with this weapon (and it also eroded his relationship with his father and his grandfather), he threw it in the lotus pond and never picked it up ever since.
Judo: Judo was a Japanese martial art where the objective was to either throw or take down an opponent to the ground, immobilize or subdue an opponent. Yoshinobu wanted to be strong just like his mother and Sayuri later taught him to fight.
Hyper Dying Will Mode: Yoshinobu was not able to activate his Sky Flame to enter HDWM due to his extreme guilt he suffered after the death of his grandfather. He only managed to activate his flame and entered HDWM when he was in his mid 40s and it helped him to fight better in the recent battles. Due to his age, he was far too late to master Giotto's technique, which was Zero Point Breakthrough (First Edition).
