Christina still can't believe how big Colton actually is. It feels like yesterday he was five and now he's coming up on his seventh birthday. She watches the interaction between the man she considers a brother and her son.

Her son always idolized Xavier, has always been in awe of the taller man. It's always been Colton's dream to be as tall as the man so watching their relationship blossom over the years has been something she holds close to her. She's just glad that Colton has enough love to even feel that way about his father.

"Hi," she flashes a smile to the other once he makes his way over to her. "How are you doing?" She asks, knowing full well how he's been because of all the articles and such. She just likes to hear it from him.

At X's words, her eyes lift up casually to look in the direction of her son who gasps, raising his gaze up over the menu to look at X. "That would never happen." He mutters, dropping his gaze back down.

"Big dog!" X says in greeting to Colton, leaning down to throwing him over his shoulder when he got close enough to catch him. He falters deliberately in the attempt, as if he's grown so much since he last saw him that carrying him was now an arduous task.

"You're going to be as tall as me soon, keep eating those vegetables," He advises with a grin as he drops him back into the booth gently on the same side as his mother, pressing a quick greeting kiss to Christina's cheek once he did.

As Colton wriggled around to settle in, X situated himself on the other side as always though it had been the longest stretch of no-shows he had given the tradition sans for when he was on tour.

"What if they ran out of pancakes?" He asks, knowing Gideon would never allow for such a thing while also knowing it would get Colton's head to shoot up from behind the menu he was looking at.
