𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐑'𝐒 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐆𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐓 is fetching against Enver's dark skin. Cold steel warms itself upon his breastbone, moved only by the gentle rise and fall of breath. An idle threat with no real intent, not yet. The dead do not speak to her the way that he does, do not worship her with palm and flesh and fervor. Their cold veins no longer remember how to properly bleed. Only a quick flick of the wrist to artery and he would spill out for her a font of red as vibrant as a bouquet of spider-lilies and poppies. You have missed me too, for you have brought me flowers, she would say.

Enver makes a show of ignoring the weapon, though he cannot hide flittering pulse in his neck. Moth-wing heart, animal dread. She wants to sup of his fear like sweet-wine.

Ah, but she rushes ahead of herself. That would only spoil the meal.

Her lover's saturnine face is upturned towards her. Candlelight paints Enver's features in broad strokes. She is left with the impression of his leer, the high cheekbone and the architecture of a nose broken more than once. His deep-set eyes are lined with sleepless nights and smeared kohl, both hungry and arresting. He is some crepuscular creature that has crept into her bed, a version of himself that belongs solely to the few stolen hours they find for one another.

Only here does he kneel for her. She still tastes the power of his willingness all the same. His attention is almost as satisfactory as physical touch would be.

"You presume much," she breathes, face kept as placid as she can make it. "Who says that I have not had my share of pleasures in your absence?" Yet she cannot contain the undercurrent of longing, voice little more than a suggestion of speech. The insides of Iraestra's thighs are wet with her desire for him, telltale tremble as she spreads her knees further to show him the lilac bloom of her cunt. Her hand works practiced, languid circle over her sex. She dips two fingers inside of herself just to hear the slick, filthy sound of it. The loudest noise in the room is her fluting breaths.

A crude mockery of how she takes herself, Iraestra exerts enough pressure so that the blade may open delicate skin. Blood wells quickly to the cut, a small river of pain traveling the broad muscle of chest. She gasps at the sight as if she had been the one pierced, body tightening around the trivial intrusion of her slender digits. It is not enough. She would have him bleeding and on top of her.

"Come to me," demand or plea, she does not know any longer. She does not care. "Let us see who missed the other more."

ONE .

i'm actually not a seasoned minecraft player. 💀 i started playing after the retexture. because i have no memories of the old nether blocks or the old way shit looked. i remember there being no bees or rabbits, i remember the old minecraft death sound. but i never played it often enough when i was younger. i always knew what minecraft was, i just never really got into it until my nephew and i started playing together. he taught me everything there is to know about it. from how to properly build farms, to enchantments, to building -- everything. he was so young back then. now that he's gone, i like to think that ivor is going to give me some closure. not only because i adore his character and what he's supposed to represent, but because ever since my nephew's passing, i want to get into minecraft as much as i can and surround myself with it since it's how he and i got close. and rping it is the best way i can, with a character i love. basically i'm probably a casual mc player. but on the low spectrum of casual. but i do know a thing or two about farms and building.

TWO .

i'm a witch!! specifically an herbal one with hellenistic beliefs, ideologies, and values. i might talk about it occasionally on here in ooc posts, either by expressing some of the spells that i do, or talking about the issues i may face with one. i also sell my spells. i'm primarily a dark witch so my focus is hexing, and my hexes are a bit pricey. i have the proof in the pudding though, if you need that sorta vengeful kick of karma back at an evildoer. but my regular spells are pretty cheap! $25! i also do tarot card readings, and i do them for free! so if anyone ever wants some metaphysical guidance i am more than happy to help you with it. just know that i don't sugarcoat my shit, and i'll tell it like it is. you may hear something that you're not prepared or ready to hear. i'm... contemplating adding a touch of that to ivor, considering he is an alchemist. i wouldn't be surprised if he encountered a witch in his past that taught him some more metaphysical magic/alchemy for a price. but i'm still contemplating his backstory. i have some ideas, and i'll write a meta on it once i become more confident with him! i just wish they explored any of their backstories more in mcsm.

i LOOOOOOOOOVE music. and i mean LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE music. i love all types, except for country and dubstep, and even those have some exceptions. my absolute favorites are western, electro swing, and metal. i listen to music when i make icons, i listen to music when i play games, and eventually when i start to feel super in character, i'll listen to music when i write. i'm one of those types of rpers that make playlists for my muse, and i'm super stoked to analyze ivor and select music for him. there are some music dashboard memes on tumblr that i've seen that i'm on edge to do for the future. 👀 my favorite artists are crywank and system of a down. especially crywank. please listen. i will pay you a shiny nickel. a hefty penny. a loose string. free food. listen to them. they have such good music. it made me cry the first time i listened to them, and whenever i hear their new releases, i cry at them as well. if i could only listen to one artist ever, it would be crywank. if i could only listen to one song ever, it would be unassimilated normie, by crywank. system is really good, too! i'm actually an admin of a server on discord dedicated to system of a down.

He should've left a while ago, when the sun first peeked through the windows ; his shop was normally open by now. In spite of that, Daigo only shifted closer. Dark eyes framed with fine lines traveled across what he could see of Joel from where he laid, tucked into his side. Tentative fingers trailed over the other man's chest. Daigo's coarse, silver hair pooled over his shoulders and pillow like a halo.

Without really thinking, Daigo craned his head up. His nose bumped into Joel's jaw as the ex - yakuza pressed his lips lightly to the curve of his throat. He tried not to think about the darker thoughts swirling at the back of his mind : that he didn't deserve to be happy after these last two decades ; that he should feel guilty for seeking comfort ; that anything taking the edge off of his biting sorrow was somehow wrong.

Daigo swallowed with difficulty, gave Joel's neck a final kiss, and nestled back under his chin. His fingertips traced a scar leisurely. "You're . . . " Daigo murmured to no one in particular, sighing. "Incredible, you know, Joel."

He'd been awake the moment Daigo moved against him, even if the comfort he felt only rose him to half-awareness. The touch of his hand on Joel's chest, the brush of his nose and the pressure of his lips-- he'd felt everything.

(And the gentleness that Daigo affords him, as always, provides a tantalising paradox of lethargy and energy crackling beneath his skin.)

Joel doesn't want to move, not really. Doesn't want to take the moment away from Daigo, not when he wouldn't even know where to begin. Nobody's ever thought him incredible the way Daigo puts it, and while Joel doesn't struggle with self-doubt-- only regret that he hadn't been cruel from the beginning to save his baby girl-- the exclamation would be thought as exaggeration if it had come from anyone else.

But it's Daigo, who's even more taciturn than Joel is. It's Daigo, who's never been soft until this... anomaly bloomed between them.

Daigo doesn't say things he doesn't mean. The thought of that makes his words settle in his chest, warm and unfamiliar.

He decides not to cheapen the moment with platitudes. But he wants Daigo to know that he heard, and so his head tilts down to kiss the other man's hair. Joel lingers before nosing at his forehead, then kissing his brow.

And in the end, without saying a word, he kisses him believing Daigo already sees it coming.

Maybe Daigo's become softer in the years since they've settled in Jackson. But Joel's fucking putty in comparison-- so much so that he no longer feels humiliation when he manoeuvres Daigo to lie on his back beneath him, a hand on his face and another one caressing his side.

You spoil me, he could tease.

You undo me, he could admit.

But Joel only murmurs: "Hey."

And it's not much, not really. But the smile that curves his lips is only Daigo's, and that ought to count for something.

Especially as Joel kisses him with it, full and honest and true.
