In light of recent political events, I know several people (like myself) will be downloading Ao3 fics in case they get erased. Especially the gay/explicit ones. I personally transfer them to my kindle. If anyone wants a cover for any fics for ao3, I will make one, no questions asked, no matter how weird the fic is

downloading my fics

printing my fics

copy/pasting or screenshotting my fics

sharing your saved copy of my fics with anyone else who might want them in the unlikely but never impossible case that my fics are no longer available on ao3

making a book of my fic(s) and running your fingers across the pages while lovingly whispering my precioussss

doing these things with anything I create for fandom, such as meta, headcanons, au nonsense like 'texts from the brodinsons,' etc

I am not fine with "the audience"

doing any of the above with the purpose/intent of plagiarizing my work or passing it off as their own in any capacity

feeding my work into ai for any reason whatsoever

after months of prep, chapter 1 of Like the Moon Haunts the Sun,  the jjk atla!au collab with sam @philosophiums is officially live!  I know it’s been a long time coming but thank you so much for bearing with us! The last third of ch.37 was so fuckin eerie and tense and visually rich that I couldn't NOT make some art inspired by it. I've been hankering to draw something more experimental and dark lately, and this really scratched that itch!

Shen Qingqiu does not want to receive the cure from Tianlang-Jun. He doesn't particularly want to receive anything from Tianlang-Jun. Shen Qingqiu somehow ends up fake-dating Tianlang-Jun anyway, if only to swindle the System into delaying the Endless Abyss plot for as long as he can.

a reader who's makarov's ever loyal and dutiful dog, taking pleasure in the way people die under him, how bones snap from his heavy hoots, people suffocating to death from how he strangles them, black and bruised with how he beats them. he likes how much weaker they are, how it disgusts him to think they're human like him—weak, pathetic, useless humans.

a reader who kidnaps members from 141, torturing them with glee under makarov's orders, adoring the bruises and cuts on their skin. but it frustrates you when they don't crumble, when they're stubborn. your temper rises and you foam at the mouth like the rabid hound that you are, and only increase your torture when makarov gives you permission.

a reader that doesn't hesitate to kill anyone, no matter who they are. women, men, children, the elderly—anyone makarov wants dead, you're more than happy to help get rid of.

a reader who's so loyal to makarov, who doesn't stray from obedience, trained to perfection and all too eager to do whatever the hell makarov tells him to do.

Good morning emy, idk if you've thought about Stede waking Ed up with sweet morning kisses today but if you haven't, this is your reminder to do that 😇❤️

In another life, Stede preferred nighttime to day. 

At night he could be alone. Well, he had to share a bed with Mary, yes, but he could feign sleep, and therefore it was easier to imagine he was alone. All nice and quiet and peaceful. No expectations to speak of. And then he could drift off to sleep as he rotated through some of his favorite fantasies in his mind — captaining a pirate ship, going on adventures on the high seas, swashbuckling in a fab red swishy coat and some smashing leather boots, oh, and maybe even a sash so it’d twirl all around him as he leapt to and fro, and…

Anyway!

Point is, Stede loved nighttime, because it was the only time he could fool himself into thinking he was happy. There was nothing he looked forward to more than putting on his nightcap and tucking himself into bed for a long night of dreaming.

But now? In this life?

Stede loves the morning.   

He loves the way the sun’s rays stream into the window of the bedroom he shares with Ed. He loves stretching out his arms and wiggling his fingers to get some circulation back into them before he pulls Ed into a tighter embrace. He loves the sleepy little noises Ed makes as he settles himself into Stede’s chest. He loves gently running his hand through Ed’s hair and seeing if any more silver strands sprouted overnight. 

He loves placing gentle kisses on whatever part of Ed he can reach — the top of his head, above his eyebrow, on his cheek, on his nose, down his neck and back up again. 

He loves how Ed feels wrapped up around him, all warm and languid and liquid, like a big, gorgeous cat sunning himself in love. But in a way that doesn’t sound weird. Because that does sound weird. A bit. 

But still. 

Stede loves mornings.

All nice and quiet and peaceful. No expectations to speak of. 

Just love.

Ed rolls over in Stede’s arms, taking one of Stede’s hands as he does. Smiling, Stede turns his focus to the new area of skin Ed very kindly bared for kisses. He peppers soft kisses all over Ed's back, gentle and sweet, each one a reminder to Ed:

Hello, my love.

I’m here.

I love this life we’ve built together.

We’ll get our first guest at the inn some day.

You’re beautiful.

You’re wonderful.

You’re mine.

And then Stede feels Ed pull his hand to his lips, and Ed presses a kiss there, and Stede squeezes his hand back.

“Morning, love.” Ed’s voice is still raspy with sleep, just one more thing Stede loves about the mornings. “Have a good night's sleep?”

“Yes,” Stede replies, and tugs Ed closer to him. “And now I can't wait to start our day.”

I think ao3 should let you sort fics by "you've already read this." so that way you can only ever find stuff that you've never seen before. and ALSO you can then find fics that you've lost and are now desperately searching for, with nothing but a couple vague tags and a dream

+ catagory five: a shatterdome romance by @owlinaminor (27k, mature), which focuses predominantly on jim & oluwande, and which i also massively recommend reading (first). it's told through lucius' words and made up of journalistic notes and transcriptions, and its really terribly clever. i knew nothing about pacific rim before this, and now i'm really very invested. if i wrote something this fantastic (& creative & wildly unique) i would never shut up about it.
