most big herbivores are, frankly. if you have a pretty steady supply of food and don’t have to worry about missing a hunt and starving to death, you can afford to throw your weight around more and generally be more aggressive!

Oh man there are so many good cryptids out there! I think my favorite tho is Mokele-mbembe! The name means roughly "One who stops rivers".

It's a saurpod that lives in the Congo, a living dinosaur, about the size of an elephant! I wrote a paper on it in high school XD

Sauroposeidons. When he was a kid, his school went on a field trip to the American Museum of Natural History. Though he can’t excactly explain why now, the Saurpods exhibit had been his favorite one. His mother, who had been a chaperone on the trip, got him a figure of one from the souvenior shop. He still has it to this day.

It’s a tie between strawberry ice cream with like chocolate sauce, sprinkles, or cookies on top or mint chocolate chip.

Thunderstorms. Something about them he finds comforting.

more realistic than most emojis. definitely reads as a Giraffatitan or Brachiosaurus, but his eyes are kind of scary. 8/10

oh!!! this ones cute!!! he has elephant feet but i can forgive it a bit because he has nice colors. 9/10

simplistic, fairly well rounded design for a generic saurpod emoji. 8/10

basic green sauropod. kind of boring and has a weird face. 5/10

this is just Arlo from the Good Dinosaur but 100x worse. -10/10

fat man. a good man. maybe a generic Diplodocid? his face is kinda weird though. 7/10

forehead nostrils. dark beady eyes. this guy has murdered more than once and he will do it again. 3/10

cute and ok for a generic sauropod emoji but could be more creative. his tail should be lifted away from the ground more. 5/10

a good Giraffatitan or Brachiosaurus boy on the more realistic side. this is one i can trust. 8/10

A Reminder of Horrors Past:

Queztalcoatlus northroppi, the largest thing to ever fly and at least 30% neck by mass.  Also one of the primary predators of saurpods, whose babies it would swallow whole like an awful prehistoric pelican.

Sometimes I like to imagine a Jurassic Park where the scientists decided to clone back/construct all the really fucked up shit form the age of the dinosaurs.

Mendozasaurus is a titanosaur from Mendoza Province, Argentina, dating back to around 89 to 85 million years ago, in the Turonian to Coniacian ages of the Late Cretaceous. It included armored remains, which was a common trait amongst more advanced titanosaurs such as Saltasaurus. It had a long, thin neck, heavy ribs and massive neural spines. Its size, however, is still uncertain.
