So my choir director/favorite teacher ever has synesthesia, specifically a kind where he sees auras and hears colors.

So for our vocal warmups where we build a chord, lowest voices to highest, I challenged him to make a chord that sounds like a certain color.

We've been doing it every class now for warmups.

And the most interesting thing, when I hear the whole choir sing, I can hear the color too. But I think in scenes and feelings. When he plays a soft orange chord, I see a sun setting warmly over the trees and candlelight.

The human mind is so fascinating!!!! We make music and it makes us feel colors and picture scenes just with vibrations of air and love!!!!! It's beautiful and so cool that I just had to share it
