Hey. I was feeling kinda emotional, so I came up with a NSFW Oviposition idea that turned into a angst/fluff idea for a Sastiel fic 🧜‍♂️

So, the idea is: Sam is a 30-year-old guy who usually goes to this quiet, not-so-popular beach in the afternoons to chill, swim, or just be alone for a bit. One day, he finds Castiel, a cephalopod man (half-octopus) stranded on the shore, tangled in a net.

Sam doesn’t question what he’s seeing or that he’s looking at a non-human creature—he just helps him out and gets him back in the water. After that, they start a friendship. They swim together, hang out every time they bump into each other. Castiel doesn’t share much about where he’s from, and Sam doesn’t ask, they just have little chats on the shore or on the rocks.

One day, Cas shows up saying he’s in heat and needs to lay his eggs. Sam offers to help, knowing it’s an important process for him and feeling all in because of the bond they've formed. That night, they have sex in the ocean, and Cas fills him with eggs. Later, Sam expels them on the beach and Cas tells him he’ll take them back to the ocean to hatch. Sam wakes up on the sand, confused and unsure if it was all just a dream. He’s naked and there's no sign of Cas.

Sam doesn’t see him again for a long time. Weeks go by, then months. He keeps going back to the beach, hoping to see Cas swimming around or explaining what happened that night, or what those eggs were about, but Cas never returns. Eventually, Sam loses hope and starts forgetting about him, thinking maybe it was all just his imagination, a lonely illusion. He feels alone every time he goes to the beach, carrying something he doesn’t quite understand.

Then, 9 months later, Sam’s still going to the beach sometimes, hoping for some kind of peace from the waves, even though he’s accepted he’ll never see Cas again. But, as fate and Chuck would have it, one day he sees bubbles in the water and Cas rises out of the ocean again. Sam squints, thinking he’s seeing things, and rushes toward him. He’s frustrated and relieved, confused and pissed off. As he gets closer, he’s still wondering if he’s seeing a mirage or losing his mind.

When he gets to the shore, he realizes Cas is carrying something in his arms—a baby (Jack), and Cas tells him it’s his son.

Turns out Cas had left so the eggs could hatch at the bottom of the sea, and one of them would turn into a baby. But he had to wait 9 months for it to be born underwater and then bring it back to the surface.

I also thought about doing a version where Sam gets pregnant with the egg and it becomes an Mpreg-Eggpreg thing where Castiel leaves him for 9 months to hibernate and comes back just in time for Sam to give birth.

Just a one-shot idea I came up with. Anything that ends with a happy ending and a baby in a non-traditional way. I wanted to make something purely NSFW oviposition, but it ended up turning into a bit of angst/comfort.

There are so many things to love about this fic! First, it's Sastiel. I love me some Sam and Cas, man. They're not my OTP, but I have a special place in my heart for them being all caring and wonderful together. Then, this didn't end the way I expected, and I love that even more! They talked! They got to know each other! And no one ran away screaming! It's so sweet, man!!! I desperately want to know Dean's reaction to all of it, though. (Really hoping that @ladylilithprime decides to write a timestamp or something so we get a peek!)

Um, so I haven't really properly published this level of sexual content before now, so it would be really good to know if I have written it well, or if it's just terribly cringey and bad.

This was awkward for me to write because I get so silly about sex despite being a 28 year fucking old, but yeah. Maybe it's the British in me idk but I get so prude about it!

Hey everyone! Here it is, the SPN AU Bang. Allows both SPN and RPF, check out the guidelines and FAQ will be posted next week, but here is the gist:

What is the SPN AU Big Bang?

A big bang is an event where an author writes a story for an artist to claim and create art for! In this particular bang, the author’s pieces will be non-canon. This means you could have the characters in a different world: historic AU, college AU, or even a prison AU. or, the characters themselves aren't canon-compliant: Dean is a firefighter, and Charlie is an interior designer, Jared is a Mechanic. Or, lastly, you can change major events on the show: living in the apocalypse world, Croatian takes over, or Mary never dies. For RPF, any world where the actors are doing something different with their occupation works.

Here are some ideas:

Dean is a firefighter, Castiel is an ambulance medic, and they meet on the site of a disaster.

Sam is thrown by one of the angels into an alternate universe where everyone is a vampire. 

Dean and Sam never stop the apocalypse, they deal with the consequences.

Jared is a lawyer, Jensen is his client.

Jared and Jensen film supernatural but instead of 4 years, it’s a 10 year difference; how Jensen deals with trying to be a father figure to the much younger 17-year-old actor.

This Bang features two categories:

A Mini Bang, which is a work with a minimum of 5K words and a banner + 1 piece of art.

A Big Bang, which is a work with a minimum of 10K words and a banner + 2 pieces of art.

I've decided I might have to discontinue with finishing Electric Indigo...

I started it 3 and a half years ago and while I absolutely have loved writing it, I'm not sure how to end it and perhaps it hasn't quite got to the way I planned I guess?

Also I don't think anyone is really interested in it anymore and perhaps I might need to make way for writing new Sastiel content that might be more worth my time...

It doesn't help though that I have been doing a teaching degree and I am nearly qualified so I have had to take away focus from my fanfic writing to concentrate on my coursework and finishing deadlines so that's partly what hasn't helped.

Nevertheless, I'm planning to write more Sastiel fanfics, but perhaps I'll have to give up on Electric Indigo for now.

Perhaps I could do with a new idea? I'll figure a new story idea out hopefully soon!

SPN AU Big Bang Poll

hey guys! i was looking for the spn au big bang (because most bangs are opening now with the new year) but turns out it’s been discontinued. who’d be interested in joining one this year?

Sign ups would open this month and close writers in February, artists in early May. Or the opposite if it’s a reverse bang. Would include a big bang (10k+) and mini bang (3k+). For the Big Bang artists would be required to have 1 banner and 2 pieces of art, Mini bang 1 banner and 1 piece of art.

The point would be that the story must take place outside the SPN verse, but that doesn’t exclude anyone from writing fantasy, keeping demons and angels in the mix, etc, just use a different world, get creative, you know? The boys deserve some fresh air everyone once in a while! (This means no RPF)

that’s all i can think of currently but please let me know if there’s anything else you want to ask about and if you’d be interested to co-mod if this ends up happening (im in my gap year so I’m very free to do this as you can see)
