TK wiped the back of palm over his eyes, clearing the sleep from them. He shifted, a loud clattering noise filling the apartment. He looked down, grabbing his phone from the floor.

TK threw his phone next to him, creaking his neck as he stood from the sofa. TK frowned, slowly turning to look at the window It was light outside. It was the morning- TK had fallen asleep. He stood, and dashed into the bedroom, his hand grasped on the doorframe as he stared into the vacant room, their bed still made and empty. Carlos didn’t come home last night.
