Spooky Day!

Even with a newborn, Kristina and Amanda managed to visit the Spooky Day Festival (by @bunnithechubs!) and have a spooky party!

(Sadly, not long after this, we get the notification that Broderick has passed. The friends didn't know him well enough to know exactly why, but send his family their condolences.)

Happy (chaotic) birthday Kristina!

She is now 35 years old! She finds herself very happy, surrounded by friends, a sister, a niece and family-in-law (Sally couldn't come due to Shelby being sick). Kristina loves being a homemaker and looks forward to be a mother of two!

Saru is an infant!

Amanda has had to build on the house, adding a room to the second floor. This will be Saru and his baby sister's room!

End of fall

They bond with and get to know Saru, Kristina is diagnosed with diabetes after her pregnancy and they tend to their garden. Soon time for the shorter days of winter.

It's not a bad life, it's just a lot of it. Shiew still comes by now and then, both Airiam and Saru are growing, Chau is still a tiny dog running around their legs - and then there's all the goats, sheep and chickens to look after too!

Kristina, and Amanda, are understandably exhausted.

No time for post-birthday- makeovers; it's time to welcome the second baby! However, this time Kristina has to deliver on her own and Amanda stay home with Saru.

And so, Amanda gets to greet baby Airiam as she comes home <3

Amanda was the epitome of support, calm and rationale through the whole process....

Anyway, here he is! Saru Johansson, firstborn of gen 3!

We also get the news that, out of all people, Jim has started dating and is now living with Karen Dobson! Karen has left her sister the fantastic house in Sulani, and moved to live with Jim in Copperdale!

I just finished my game up til year 58!

I still have to post year 29, then do all the photos for year 58 (then I'll just do one post per neighborhood, not per family). But I have just been more motivated to set up my game, which is what I will now continue to do (and get it to year 74, when I paused).

I won't make entries for year 74. The next entries will be when Saru takes over. And he was born year 69, so that means that the next change of generation is year 89.

Doing this has ben so much fun. My only annoyance is that setting up the family tree for the Johanssons/Bjergsens is proving hard, even with mods. Parents become step-parents and people don't really show up properly. Hoping to be able to fix that before I start playing!

Pictured is Bonnie Villareal-Romeo. If I were to play someone from this save, it would be her! I will keep my saves and probably use them to play some small challenges or just to get to know some of all the sims that now populate them more :)
