Saru is an infant!

Amanda has had to build on the house, adding a room to the second floor. This will be Saru and his baby sister's room!

Even when pregnant, there's a growing homestead to tend to.

Amanda was the epitome of support, calm and rationale through the whole process....

Anyway, here he is! Saru Johansson, firstborn of gen 3!

It's a looooong conversation. About settling down, about how to travel to family and friends from here (and have them visit), about what life here would look like. Kristina introduces Amanda to the local cuisine, shows her the fishing spot and of course the plot.

And by the end of their visit, Amanda is definitely convinced (she was already when she stepped off the boat).

This will be a perfect place for them.

And then, she finds it!

Kristina: Amanda! You have to take the boat to Brindleton Bay! Pleeeeease! It's amazing here and there is an old fisherman who wants to sell a plot. Yes I know, a bit impulsive, but pleeeeease? For me? Ok, alright, I love you!

And while she waits, Kristina tries the fishing spot. If it's good, she knows Amanda will be pleased.

Kristina visits the north-east side. She is amazed, but still feels that it's a bit off. Neither she not Amanda are introvert people, just because they love nature and the outdoors.

Because yes, Kristina suddenly feels... at home in Brindleton Bay. There's nature, open water and still surrounded by people. Even if this isn't the exact plot for them, she hopes to find a place that might suit her and Amanda better.

And then, she needs to get Amanda on board.

Kristina has to take Cassie to the vet. The best one is in Brindleton Bay, and even if it's a long journey there, she takes it.

Once there, Kristina can't help but to feel amazed at the beautiful area. She talks to the vet, who tells her that there are vacant plots on the north-east side of the area, but also closer to the harbor.

Kristina is intrigued.

Kristina: Has she settled in? Amanda: Yeah, I think so. Kristina: You did the right thing, honey. Amanda: I know, but still... Kristina: We'll figure it out.

End of fall.

Visiting the Tiger Sanctuary, receiving the sad news that Clara Bjergsen has passed away, tending to the home and the garden, yoga in the mornings, reading, baking, Amanda and Kristina realizing they are running out of money and Amanda tries to write (getting frustrated in the process) - and a trip to Henford-on-Bagley to buy more seeds and groceries.

Spooky Party!

Kristina knows some of the neighbors and invites Karen Dobson (braids) with sister Margarita (redhead), and Scarlet Sadya (looking like a pizza delivery) with uncle Jerry Linh (white robot).

Kristina's sister Sally arrives in a matching witchy outfit! Sally brings her husband Erich too (all the way from Copperdale)! Erich is wearing a nice Star Wars outfit...

Jim comes too, excited to see his older sister's house and meet her friends!

The morning after, Kristina has to clean the place up.

Amanda: So, we could either head back, or... Kristina: Or? Amanda: Travel through Oasis Springs, and then maybe you could show me Del Sol Valley? Before we visit my family in Strangerville. Kristina: That... sounds like a plan. Amanda: Cool!

And so, while it's still raining in Chestnut Ridge, they continue their travels.

Here they are!

Kristina is 26 years old and a family sim (stats under the cut)! She was raised by her mother (Brytani Cho) and has a fame point, but has so far in life mainly focused on her spiritual side. She works in the religious career, meaning that she mainly goes to church of the Cowplant and try to get followers.

She shares her faith with Amanda (23 year old), but Amanda hasn't ever really thought much about it. However, Amanda has a lifestyle of being in nature, loving nature and appreciate the things that Cowplanter would. In this, they are a good match and for Kristina this feels important.

Cassie is intrigued by the new house, but still is very much an outdoorsy dog!

As Amanda makes her way back to Tomarang, she and her friends meet up at the spice festival in San Myshuno!

Amanda has invited Kristina to met her friends. They seem to get along! Which is very great, seeing as Marcella is Kristina's half-sister and they have not had much contact in their lives.

(both are from extramarital relationships Geoffrey had during his and Nancy's "rough period", Kristina's mother is Brytanni Cho (her sister is Sally) and Marcella's mother is called Lizette)

Amanda, who until now has been single and loving it, is starting to have her doubts about her chosen lifestyle...

Marcella: Why so upset? It can't be that hot. Maia: Oh my watcher, ouch ouch ouch!

Amanda: What do you think about Kristina? Jim: She's cool, yeah. Amanda: Thanks.... So how' life in the city? Jim: It's good. I'm thinking about applying to university, but haven't decided yet. Amanda: I guess mum wants you to study, huh? Jim: She doesn't seem to care too much. Not about that, she just mainly seems to constantly call me. Amanda: Yeah, same. I always have missed calls or loads of texts if I've been away from my phone for too long.

By the end of the evening, Amanda asks Kristina to be her partner. She really has missed her during her travels, and after her friends acceptance of Kristina - it feels really right.

Amanda's next stop is Sulani. And well.. Kristina joins her, at least for the journey there.

Amanda: I'm really glad you wanted to join. Not many find my travels... that great. Kristina: I'll miss you when you're away, that's for sure. But I love that have this lifestyle! I'm really inspired.

They end the date by christening Amanda's tent. Then Kristina heads back to Tomarang, while Amanda goes to sleep in her tent.

Amanda has never felt lonely during her travels, but suddenly she finds herself wishing Kristina would've stayed.
