Spetses, Greece
Spetses is an affluent island and a municipality in the Islands regional unit, Attica, Greece. It is sometimes included as one of the Saronic Islands. An unusual aspect of Spetses is that no private automobiles are allowed within the town limits. The most common modes of transport are walking, horse-drawn carriages, bicycles, mopeds, and motorcycles. Only taxis/delivery vehicles are allowed in the downtown area. Ferries/high-speed hydrofoils arrive regularly from the Athenian port of Piraeus.

Thanks for the tag @alatismeni-theitsa ! The almond tree outside my balcony bloomed these days too!!! It鈥檚 true, blog is slowly getting in spring mood. But also anyone can search spring photos in my archive by searching the spring months. BTW I was playing Greece GeoGuessr the other day and here are some spring screenshots I took:

This humble cutie with its awesomely thicc little garden. It鈥檚 been some days so I am not sure where this is, but if I remember correctly it鈥檚 a Thessalian city.

I hiked (digitally) to the monastery at the top of the town in Hydra island and both these photos are the views from the monastery鈥檚 yard, when you turn left and right! Lucky monks huh
Tumblr media
Then I moved beyond the monastery (I was basically following these dudes throughout) to reach the peak of the hill. I am gonna sound like a tourist but I didn鈥檛 know Hydra gets so green in the spring!
螛蔚委伪 渭慰蠀 I am diaspora and school is beating me up. Can you reply with some pictures of what Greece looks like right now so I can pretend I'm there enjoying the Spring?
I am sorry school is so harsh on you! Did you leave for studies or do you live there? (Just curious to see how far this blog reached)
螒渭维谓 尾蟻蔚 蟺伪喂未维魏喂 渭慰蠀, you picked the most unsuitable Spring day for this message 馃槀馃槀 In my area at least it looks like this (internet image from Larissa, not picture from me):
Tumblr media
Aaaah yes, spring! Warmth, light, flowers! 馃槀馃槀
But hey, you are correct, Spring in Greece is very beautiful! In case you feel down again ,@gemsofgreece posts gorgeous images and keeps them seasonal.
I found some pictures online for this time of year, (Early Spring) but also some full-blown Spring ones that you might enjoy! I focused on nature, because that's what calms me this time of the year. Btw! I believe the 伪渭蠀纬未伪位喂苇蟼 outside my house bloomed just yesterday!

I think that reconstructionists should get more specific with what it is they are reconstructing. Now from here I could write up a long post about how varied traditions and beliefs are over geography and time, so that if there is any desire to have a "construct" to "reconstruct" you need to specify. Instead, I will say I want to start seeing
ULTRA-SPECIFIC RECONSTRUCTIONISTS
Forget reconstructing the practices of a broad language group. Instead, imagine reconstructing the religious practices of one specific Saronic Island that mostly involve fertility rituals and rituals to usher in a good pistachio harvest. It's such a bold move! The style! The panache! Not to mention the potential to be a genuine authority! Let's face it no one on this site is likely to be the most important devotee of so popular a diety as like Dionysus, but with some work and study you could definitely make a convincing claim to be a world authority on Aphae tutellary goddess of fertility and agriculture to one small island off the coast of Athens.
