Turnabout phantom attorney!

(Click for spoilers, I tried something new having trouble with the transparency effect)

I really love this fanfic. It naturally combines the ace attorney games with Ghost trick! I love how well the characters are written and their relationships. There arn’t many ghost trick characters though but there are a ton of references. Recommend if you’re a fan of either series.

In this story Phoenix is caught up in another murder mystery he’s got to solve, only this time it’s his own murder! Somehow waking up as a spirit that can jump from object to object and manipulate them he tries his best to help.

This fanfic I love to reread again and again! Love the happy ending.

Sometimes you can get inspiration from the darnest places: this this case a really good Ghost Trick/Ace Attorney fic that I happened to read during one of my usual fic-binges and fell in love with. The imagery in this scene was so evocative to me that I had to get it down on paper, even if I had to wait till after my move to do it. And during Blerdcon prep (oh man, I still don’t feel ready...).

It’s really been a while since I’ve posted here; if you want to see more current projects, you can always check my instagram. :) Still, there’s still some fandom left on tumblr and that made this a good place to post this piece. I still have a strict rule of no fan art for money (seriously, I never want to wade into that particular legal swamp) but I’d been feeling the urge to try something new (red on red on red, thank you!) and flex my interior drawing muscles.
