The song sjm posted on her story is giving MAJOR Elain vibes. But some elriels are trying to drag Azriel into it

But if Elain does not owe Lucien anything and if she has no interest in Lucien, what would she have to feel guilty about? She's not in a relationship with Lucien, right? She was ready to kiss Az so either she's a cheater (something SJM doesn't write about and would completely ruin Elain's character) or she's free in her choices, therefore she can not be "emotionally" cheating on someone she's not even with. If anything, I'd think the song would be more fitting for Elain's mating bond snapping while engaged to Graysen. She was supposed to be marrying Graysen, claimed to be in love with Graysen, yet came out of her depression with Lucien's arrival. She felt Lucien tug on their bond and reacted to it, she nearly stopped him as he left to search for Vassa. All while she was supposed to be engaged to and in love with another man. Elain clearly felt something towards Lucien despite not ever meaning to.

But really, she was drafting ACOTAR 5 in September, 7 months ago and she was pretty into at that point saying she was obsessed with writing it. To me that means she should be done with (at the very least) her first draft. As she now appears to be onto her next project, it might be a leap to assume she'd be moved by a song about emotional cheating in regards to characters who I think she's mostly wrapped up their story. I could be wrong about that of course and if there's any chance it's about ACOTAR 5, I think SJM exploring the headspace of Elain being engaged to Graysen, in love with Graysen while feeling pulled to Lucien is a lot more legitimate a connection than claiming the song is about E/riel considering Elain is not even in a relationship with Lucien. You can't emotionally cheat on someone who you aren't dating.

Elain and Lucien at Starfall as a family 🌑✨

Starfall has always been such a pivotal moment in this series where true healing and peace has either begun to happen, or has become tangible. We have seen Feyre and Nesta at their own Starfall during their journeys, and I cannot wait to see Elain during her’s. The idea was Lucien and Elain with their daughter, who is so enraptured with her father that she cannot even focus on the falling stars. The look of love.

I cannot thank electra.rt enough for this STUNNING artwork. The way in which she conveys emotion in her work astounds me and I have always been floored by her work.

ACOTAR fandom being chill about fanart challenge: IMPOSSIBLE.

It seems like every week there's some outrage over fanart.

Ya'll leave artist alone damn.

Atouchofmagicdesigns are releasing new book covers and people are up in arms about Feyre not being on ACOWAR's cover.

(I suspect they are truly upset because it has Nesta and Elain juxapositioned with Cassian and Azriel)

For acosf, Sarah already went hiking somewhere for inspiration of the illyrian mountains (I think). She might be looking for inspiration of illyria or the mountains again but I don't know how that will tie to an elucien book?

I know it sounds silly because many of the events of Silver Flames weren't foreshadowed in the other books. Sarah may have set up for major plot points but not the specific details about the story because she likes to go through that journey with her characters. It could possibly be the prison or winter court, or sjm might just be looking for a comfortable area to write and get her creative juices working.

I think everything is on the table.

Could her drafting tag indicate she's drafting a new book but included the ACOWHAT tag just to get people excited for the next ACOTAR novel? Letting us know she'll be announcing that soon while looking to what comes after? That's something to consider! She was working on ACOTAR back in September and pretty into it at that point so I do find it slightly surprising that she's still drafting it out (unless to her revisions fall under the drafting process).

Could the setting indicate she's trying to get into the mindset for the Illyrian mountains? The Prison? That's a possibility too!

Could the setting indicate she's trying to get inspiration for Vallahan, a place she's not yet visited on page yet but is extremely North and surrounded by mountains? Or Koschei's lake, surrounded by mountains which was covered in snow for Elain's vision? Also a maybe!

Her IG post could have ties to either a Gwynriel or Elucien book or it could mean nothing or it could actually be a tease for her beginning whatever comes after the next ACOTAR book.

There's no way to know so while it's ok to have a little fun with it (since we have nothing else to work with these days), I don't think we can hold fast to anything.
