my favourite barista II Sara Doorsoun x Reader
Tumblr media
masterlist I word count: 1320
a/n: that oneshot was solely inspired by Saras instagram story. As always this is just fiction !
“Your favourite customer is back.”, your colleague Nadine noted winking. Today’s been quite a busy day for her and you at the coffee shop you worked at. It was a very rainy summer, but today the sun decided to come out and with that the people returned. Looking happy with the coffees in their hands as they sat outside to enjoy the warmth of the sunshine.
“What?”, you looked up surprised, searching for the woman you hoped she meant.  “Sara, hi.”, you greeted the short-haired woman excitedly. Oh, how you missed that smile, you were sure this could light up the whole town.
“Hi.”, Sara beamed at you. The defender reminiscent about how much she yearned to see you again while she was away with the national team.
“The usual order? You should try those sweet treats they’re delicious.”, you recommended with a smile on your lips.
“Uhm..yeah, you know what? Give me one of those, I got something to celebrate.”, Sara decided.
“You do? Tell me about it.”, you replied as you started making her a flat white. To yourself you thought, I worried you might never return to our coffeeshop because you haven’t been here for a while.
“Oh, I was in France.”, she explained grinning.
“At the Olympics?”, Nadine asked interested.
“Yes, but I really missed my favourite coffee.”, the defender confessed, her brown eyes kept glancing at you instead of the hot drink you were preparing.
“That’s so sweet.”, you commented.
Meanwhile your colleague had different questions for the athlete. “Did you win a medal?”
“We did. Bronze, you want to see it?”
“Yes.”, Nadine replied eagerly.
“Wow, it’s beautiful.”, you said admiringly, as Sara placed the medal carefully in your hands.
“That’s heavy.”, your colleague yelled impressed.
“Yeah, it’s but not as pretty as..”, the defender begun flustered.
“As the coffee.”, you ended the sentence for her smirking amused and handing her the coffee order.
She shook her head nervously before finding the courage to continue. “As the person making my coffee.”
“I’ll take on the other customers so you can continue the very interesting conversation.”, Nadine announced with a knowing grin.
“Please ignore her, Sara.”, you asked laughing.
“I’ll.”, the football player agreed gladly. With a sigh the two of you took a seat outside in the back garden. The scent of the roses filled the air and you both took a deep breath to take it all in.
“So, you said that I’m pretty? What if I think you’re beautiful.”, you picked up the flirty talk from earlier. Feeling more comfortable and much freer now that it was just between her and you without the noisy ears of anyone else.
Sara raised an eyebrow with amusement: “Then I will have to say that you’re gorgeous.“
“Is this a competition? You already won a bronze medal.“, you laughed, your cheeks flushing red.
Shrugging, Sara leaned over to you and rested her medal on the counter: “I thought an olympic medal might convince you to go on a date with me. Or do you only go out with gold medalists?“
You stared at her, dumbfounded and shook your head. “Me? I wanted to ask you out before you went off to Paris but I never found the courage.“
Now it was Saras face that displayed a mixture of surprise and confusion: “Wait, you did?“
You nodded gingerly: “Yes.“
“Wow.“, Sara said before she burst into laughter. “We’re horrible at this.“
You grinned at her: “Like absolute beginners.“
“At least we agree that we both want a date.“, the defender pointed out, brushing through her short hair.
You nodded towards the cup in front of her. It had already stopped steaming.
“Right but you should really drink your coffee before it gets cold.“
“Fine. Can I pick you up after your shift?“, she asked before taking a long sip of her coffee.
You pretended to think about it for a moment and then nodded: “Sure. You can bring Peanut with you and we could walk along the river? I’m sure we won’t run out of stories to share and I want to hear everything about your Olympics experience.“
Sara beamed at you, seemingly happy that you remembered her dog that she sometimes takes on walks to your coffee shop. “I like that.“
“Perfect. See you later.“
Sara placed her empty coffee cup down and waved you goodbye while Nadine appeared back at your side.
She wrinkled her nose in disgust: “That was absolutely gross to watch.“
“Excuse me?“ You playfully elbowed her in the side.
“That’s been going on forever.“, she laughed.
Biting your lip, you explained: “I couldn’t ask her when she was heartbroken… Sara needed time to heal.“
Nadine just gave you an unimpressed look: “The fact that you know that her ex broke up with her makes this all even more obvious.“
“Obvious?“, you echoed. “What do you mean?“
“Oh please.“
You started to get increasingly frustrated with her. You just wanted this conversation to end. Looking at the clock, you started to clean some dirty dishes. “Forget it.“
Nadine sighed: “You don’t always have to act that oblivious. You know what I mean and you know that she came here for you all the time. Our coffee isn’t that great.“
There was slight hint of a laugh in her tone when she said the last part.
You turned back to her: “That’s a lie, our coffee is… Maybe you’re right.“
“Of course I’m right. Now go and get ready. I can finish the shift alone.“, she said, gesturing towards the mostly empty seating area.
“Thank you.“, you said happily and hugged her quickly. She reluctantly let it happen and watched you leave with a shake of her head.
The dog saw you before Sara and greeted you enthusiastically with wet kisses which didn’t get unnoticed by her owner who smiled at that. Afterwards you started to walk along the river, the late afternoon sun tinted everything in a warm glow.
“You should write everything down, Sara your stories about Paris are too good to be forgotten.”, you remarked excitedly after she retold another hilarious moment of the tournament.
“No, I’m not the kind of person for that. I like to keep my stories for myself and the people I love.”, the defender shook her head slowly.
“The people you love, huh?”, you smiled teasingly before coming to a halt when you realized.
“We really were idiots but maybe that’s a future story too.” There was a hopefulness swinging in your words.
“I think that makes a great story to tell.”, Sara agreed, taking your hand in hers as you continued to walk.
“It might become my new favourite.”, you admitted. This marked only the beginning of your love story.
After a Germany match, Feli was curious to meet her best friend’s girlfriend. “So that’s the infamous y/n? You were right she smells delicious.”
“That’s such a weird thing to say but hi.”, you giggled at her remark.
“I promise Feli isn’t as weird as she sounded but she’s right you do smell delicious.”, Sara defended the other defender. Your scent was her favourite as you always smelled of coffee beans and a hint of vanilla.
“Stop it you just want a kiss even though you’re very sweaty.”, you pretended to be disgusted by her sweet compliment.
“No Olympic medals without getting sweaty .. or without coffee.”, she declared.
“This was just a test game.”, Feli reminded the older woman. The North Carolina Courage player wrinkled her nose in disgust once she noticed you and your girlfriend were exchanging kisses.
“Ew, stop making one feel single!”
“Maybe ask your local barista to help you out.”, you winked at her.
“It worked for me at least.”, Sara added.
For you two it all started with the bronze medal or even earlier, but you were worth more to her than any prize that could be out there.

Teenage Boy Behavior(Laura FreigangxBrandReader)
Tumblr media
Warning: mentions of s*xual tension & more.
National Team Camp was always fun. This one was not any different. You have just arrived together with your teammates from VfL Wolfsburg. Jule being one of them. She also happens to be your twin sister. You are fraternal twins though. You were excited to see your best friend Klara who plays for Bayern Munich and your girlfriend Laura who plays for Eintracht Frankfurt.
"Laura is so eager to greet you she almost stumbled over her own two feet!" Jule told you.
"well we haven't seen eachother in like two months. So can't blame her!" You replied and manage to catch Laura just in time because she jumped into your arms. "Angel face!" She happily called out, kissing you gently. Taking you by a bit of surprise. But you kiss back and things got a bit more heated with the kiss,so you are now the one that is stumbling, trying to keep her balance.
"No way these two are sharing a room! They won't be sleeping that's for sure!" Someone yelled out. It was Selina. "These two have the room next to me! Imagine how i feel?! That's my twin sister!" Jule replied. "Y/n! Stop making out with your Girl and get your ass over here! I want a hug!" Your best friend yelled. During all of the comments you didn't care about what was said and kept making out with Laura but when you heard Klara you broke the kiss. Looking at your best friend. Laura broke free from your arms and stood up, sighing softly. "Cock Block!" She mumbled out. You giggled and ran over to Klara. "Hi!" You happily yelled out and hug your best friend. " Hi, i missed you so much! Not as much as Laura cause i don't want to jump your Bones but still quite alot!" She answered and laughed softly. You playfully slap her shoulder. "Very funny, Klara!" You answered and roll your eyes in a joking manner.
You had an hour to get settled into your room with Laura but for very valid reasons the Team didn't trust the two of you not to get tangled in the Sheets together so Kathy & Giulia got stuck with basically Babysitting the two of you. Especially Laura cause the blonde was staring at you with a look that suggested your clothes wouldn't be on your Body anymore If the two of you would be alone. Which is exactly the reason the Team didn't trust you and they did regret having the two of you in the same room. "Really the two of you can go! I can behave myself! Laura told Giulia and Kathy. "Yeah sure! And pigs can fly!" Giulia said and shook her head in disbelief. "No one belives you Laura. You start drooling whenever someone mentions y/n's name. So leaving you two before a Training Session is not gonna happen!" Kathy added. You look around for your favorite pair of sneakers to wear for tomorrow, ignoring the talk going on in your room. realizing you forgot the pair of sneakers. good thing Jule has the same Sneakers and she would probably be fine with you wearing them tomorrow.
The four of You quickly got ready for practice and met up with the rest by the field. Warming Up first. Standing in a circle with Klara, Lea, Pia, Sara & Lena. All of you were doing some leg stretches. "Seriously y/n Laura is like a Teenage Boy when it comes to you!" Sara replied. Pia chuckled softly. "I mean yes it was alot but i have seen worse." She answered. The others giggled at that. "Oh Pia you haven't seen the half of it. Let me show you what they mean when we hit the Pool tonight!" You told her, grinning softly. you knew exactly what to do to get Laura all worked up. Not that you actually had to do alot for that.
After warming up you practiced some standards, especially corners. Then you did a little practice game.
After dinner you all went to the pool. You were still wearing a T-Shirt over your Bikini because you had promised to show Pia what the others meant when they said Laura was like a Teenage Boy sometimes. You laid in between Jule & Klara. Next to Klara was Pia & next to her was Vivi. Laura came down and walked towards the Pool & you notice her eyes on you, but pretend you didn't see her. 'casually' taking off your t-shirt making sure you are turned towards her. When she saw your breasts in that new Bikini top she stared at you, mouth wide open. Not paying attention to where she was going. Almost tripping over her own two feet. Everyone was giggling at her reaction. "Damn she is down bad!" Pia said. This was quite entertaining to watch. When she reached you she was a little out of breath. "Y-you look stunning Babe! I love that new Bikini top!" Your girlfriend told you. Taking your hand in hers. Eyes focused on your chest. "Babe my eyes are up here!" You tell her, using your intertwined hands to gently grab her face. The others were watching and giggling, whispering with one another. You move really close to her, whispering into her ear. "I know you would love to take that top off of me...so today is your lucky day! When we are back in our room you can!" You let her know. That was enough for her, she let out a small growl and swallowed hard, grabbing you and throwing you over her shoulder. "We are tired! It's nap time!" She announced before walking to the room you two shared with you on her shoulder.
"we better stay away from that room for the next hour!" Vivi stated. Jule shivered. "These two are Like rabbits!" Klara answered. "Okay please Stop! Y/n is my sister! Don't want to think about what These two are doing in there! Such Teenage Boys!" Jule replied.
The next hour was quite eventful. And it was only das one of national Camp. The others had to deal with the two of you for 20 more days. How fun!

Hold On (Sara Doorsoun x Reader)
Tumblr media
Germany was beautiful. Your backpacking trip across Europe had started off well, but was ended a bit short. You wouldn’t be getting to the other countries because you had lost whatever motivation to continue on your trip in Germany that you had when you started. Maybe losing motivation wasn’t the right term, but rather you had gained a reason to stay.
“I have to go back soon,” you said sadly as you looked at Sara. She was staring up at the ceiling and twirling your hair around her fingers. The two of you had known each other for barely a month, but it felt like you had a life together here in Germany.
“How soon?” Sara asked and you sighed.
“A week at the latest,” you said sadly and Sara glanced down at you.
“It’s okay. I can come see you in my offseason,” Sara promised and you smiled. “Can you hold on until then?”
“Definitely,” you said and Sara leaned down and kissed you softly. The two of you enjoyed your last few days together in Germany and she even took you to the airport.
“Before you go, I want to give you something,” Sara said and you watched her pull a box out of her shorts pocket. She opened it and placed the bracelet inside of it on your wrist. “Whenever you miss me, I want you to hold onto the bracelet. It should make holding out for me easier.”
“Sara.” Your voice cracked and Sara kissed your forehead. She wiped the tear that was rolling down your cheek before she gave you a soft kiss on your lips. Once that kiss was over, you turned your back to her and got on your flight back to America. You were holding onto the bracelet before you had even gotten onto the plane.

Ice Hockey problems
Laura Freigang x female ice hockey reader
Tumblr media
Request from @themoinsen
A/N: Chanced it to Ice Hockey cuz its like one of the only sport (expect soccer and formula one) I kind of know the rules. Hope that's okay
I press a kiss to the pendant of my necklace bevor laying it down in my locker and putting on my chest protector.
“Why do you do this every time?” my team mate, and person I sit next to in the locker room, Maria asks.
“Because its a tradition, my pre game ritual. Like Hanna always puts on her left skate first.” I say, pointing to our team mate at the other side of the room.
Hanna rolls her eyes at my comment, she knows that I got the necklace from my girlfriend and it has her name engraved and its kind of my good luck charm.
“Come on girls warm up starts in five minutes.” Julia our team captain says,  since she's already waiting at the door.
I grab my trainings jersey and put it on bevor I get up, we have a small talk with our coach before heading into the hall.
Some fans, that are already here, cheer as we get onto the ice, driving our first rounds to get warm.
I notice some members of the germans national women's soccer team sitting there, we (the german national women's ice hockey team) did watch them play against France last week and so decided to come to watch us play today too.
There are Sara Doorsoun with her girlfriend, Sydney Lohmann, Lina Magull and in between them there's my girlfriend, the wonderful (and beautiful) Laura Freigang.
I see her smiling and waving at me, with the big hockey helmet on its kind of hard for her to see the smile I return, so I double tap my fist against my chest, where my heart is supposed to be and then point at her.
“Someones in love.” Anne teases, skating past me, followed by some of our team members.
“They’ve been together for almost two years now, so tell us something we don't already know.” Jule says, I nod but keep looking over at my girlfriend.
Even without hearing what they're talking, I know that they are teasing her about my action and the slight blush on her face, while I’m proud that I have that affect on her.
We do our warm up and then leave the field, having our final talk before the game and putting on our jerseys.
Our coach tells us some more things about the Canadian team before giving us his normal motivation talk.
We go onto the field together with the other team and the referees, when they start singing the Canadian national anthem I sport some more members of the germans national soccer team. And I notice Laura is wearing my red and black jersey from last season.
When they start playing the German national anthem, almost the whole stadium is singing along and its honestly the best feeling in the world.
As our Capitan, Julia shakes hands with one of the Canadian players before coming over to us, we make a circle like we always do and she speaks up.
“I’m proud of you girls and every single one of you has worked heard to get here and deserves it to be here today, so lets show this Canadians who we are.”
She looks at every single one of us.
“Okay! One two three....”
“Germany!” we scream together before drifting away from each other and skating to our positions.
We’re clearly dominating the game and when there only nine minutes left we already scored five goals.
I get the puck from one of the canadian players and manage to get past her but another Canadian player gets into my way so I pass the puck to Julia, the player behind me drifts away to get in between us but I slow down so right before another player can get near her, Julia passes the puck back to me.
I use my speed to get past two of the canadian players but before I can get any further I see another player coming at me at full speed.
Until the last second I think she will brake, and stop next to me but she doesn't.
She crashes into me, I don't know if she did it on purpose but her stick goes between my skates, I drip over it and crash into the wall, not at my full speed but still fast.
I close my eyes for a second and when I open them again I’m laying on the ice.
Someone kneels next to me and I hear someone else cursing loud.
“Take a breath!” Julia demands and I realize its her next to me.
I try to take a breath but I feel a stabbing pain in my chest, like someone is pressing a knife into my lung from inside.
“Fuck.” I curse, turning onto my back.
“Theresa, go get help.” she orders and I take another breath but it's causing more pain in my chest.
“Okay, I’m taking off your helmet now.” Julia says and I let her do it.
I see another person hovering over me and realize its on of the team medics.
“We need to get her off the ice.” he says to someone else, then he looks down at me.
“Do you think you can get off yourself, if we help you?” he adds.
“I can keep playing.” I say and try to push my self up, but Julia holds me down.
“First of all, no you don't and second, that wasn't my question, so yes or no to it?”
“Yes.” I say, he and Julia, go on my sides, each of them take one of my arms to pull me up and help me to get off the ice.
“Don't worry, everything’s gonna be fine.” Julia says and I don't know if she's saying to calm me down or herself.
As we exit the ice, someone else takes her place and they take me into the small medical room next to the locker room.
They lay down at a stretcher and help me take off my jersey, chest protector and skates.
Someone comes to take my blood pressure, puls and checks if I have any visible injuries.
“I know that you're in pain but can you tell me where exactly it hurts?” the doctor asks.
“My chest.” I say, pressing my hand at the place where I first felt the pain.
“Is it okay if we pull up your shirt, to get a closer look?” he asks and I nod.
A female member of the medic team steps closer and pushes my shirt up, so they can take a look at my ribs.
“Oh shit.” she says, sharing a worried look with the doctor.
“What?” I look down and see a big blue and purple bruise over the left side of my ribs.
“You feel on your stick and I’m pretty sure you broke some of your ribs but we need to get you into hospital for a CT and a checkup to make sure that its nothing else.”
“Can I stay until the game is finished.” I ask, again they share a look and then talk about something with internal bleedings and medic stuff I don't understand before giving the okay.
“The game should be finished already, so it's okay. Take this, it should reduce the pain.” he says, handing me a open water bottle with a straw and some painkillers.
A couple of minutes later, I hear my team come into the looker room. I can't really hear what they are talking about but I’m pretty sure someone said my name.
“Come with me.” I hear Julia’s voice, before the door opens and I see her standing in the doorway.
“How is she?” she asks our team doctor, instead of talking to me.
“Broken ribs I guess, but she's gonna be fine.” he answers calm.
“Julia, make way for someone more important.” I hear Anne saying but I don't see her, because Julia is still blocking the door.
Julia rolls her eyes but steps to the side, giving me a free view at the person behind her.
A person with a really worried look in there normally so joyful and excited eyes.
My person.
My girlfriend.
Laura.
“Hey.” I say and she slowly comes closer.
“Hi.” she responses and I reach my hand out for her.
My body and I think my mind too, relaxes a little bit as I feel the warmth of her skin underneath my touch.
She sits down next to me and by the way she avoids looking at me, I know that she isn't mad, rather scared.
I look at Julia and then at the door, but she gets what I mean and leaves, the medic team following her.
“You broke our promise.” Laura says, looking at the ice pack someone placed over my rips.
“I would never, I promise its nothing too serious.” I say and remember the day we made this promise.
We were a couple for like four months and I broke my wrist during a game, I didn't feel any pain but still had to take a brake for at least six weeks in order to let it heal.
Laura was there, at the game and in that night, while we were laying in bed together she made me promise that I would never get a serious injury because she said she wouldn't be able to visit me in hospital, she couldn't take that.
And I know that it was stupid because none of us can impact what injury I’m gonna get in the future but I did it because I love her.
“Come here.” I wrap an arm around her and softly pull her down, our foreheads are touching and I can feel her breath against my face.
“Seriously I’m fine, so don't worry, let us celebrate that we both won a game this week.” I say and finally I see her smile.
“I’m really proud of you.” she says.
She leans in and softly kisses me, letting me feel that she really means those words.
We hear the sound of a camera flashing and pull apart, Lina Magull, Sydney Lohmann and Julia are standing in the doorway. Syd holding Lauras Olympus AF1 Camera.
“You two are so cute together.” Lina says, smiling widely.
“Oh and congrats that you won.” Syd adds, making us laugh.
“Oh and congrats that you're not seriously injured.” Julia.

part of me wants forever II Sara Doorsoun x Barça!Reader
Tumblr media
masterlist I word count: 1672
a/n: hi, it's inspired by this request here, we hope the time jumps aren't too confusing. Let us know what you thought of the oneshot.
This was how it all begun. You didn’t expect your love story to start on an ice-cold evening in November after your team has played a Champions League group stage game against Eintracht Frankfurt, but it did.
“Sara, this is y/n. Y/n, this is Sara.”, Ingrid introduced you to each other, her eyes were shining as the stars above you in the night sky. Maybe it was written somewhere up there, what would be happening in the following days, weeks and months.
You knew the person you fell for would say that it was fate which brought you two together. But for you it was Ingrid who did.
“Hi, Sara, nice to meet you.”, you greeted her smiling.
“Nice to meet you too.”, the older defender replied. The brown eyes who wee looking back at you were so beautiful like the person to whom they belonged too, they were something you could get lost into if this wasn’t an away game and you’d have to leave soon to the hotel you were staying at.
“You guys played really well.”, you complimented Sara in an honest tone. It was true, especially in the first half they had a stellar performance, in which Laura Freigang scored the opening goal, but in the second half your team turned it around and you won fairly comfortably with a 3:1.
“Thank you. So did you.. obviously.”, the german player answered with an amused grin on her lips.
“Y/n, we got to hurry up!”, Mapi reminded you impatiently.
“Don’t worry, Mapi. I’m coming.”, you reassured her, trying to shake off her fingers on the hood of your jacket.
“See you soon.”, Sara waved at you.
“I literally can’t wait.”, you told her. Even though you only shared some polite words with each other you had a feeling that this wasn’t the end of your script together.
On the next day your team was on the way home, the bus taking you from the Barcelona airport to the place where your cars have been parked.
“Y/n?”, Ingrid looked up from her phone to turn her attention towards you who was sitting on the seats opposite of Mapi and her.
“Yes?”, you responded, lifting your gaze from the book you were currently reading.
“Sara messaged me.”, the Norwegian informed you, wearing a mischievous smile on her face.
“You mean Sara as in the cute Frankfurt defender.”, you replied innocently.
“Who else, genius!”, Fridolina laughed, sitting right behind you, she and Ingrid had to play with the player during their times in Wolfsburg.
“Do you know how many Sara’s there are?!”, you asked the Swedish player.
“Yes, but none of them looked at you the way she did. So, what was in Sara’s message, Ingrid?”, Fridolina stated.
Ingrids face split into a wide grin as she read the message on her phone screen: “She asked for her number.“
“You know what? You can give her my number.“, you said in a burst of courage that made Ingrid only smile brighter.
“I’ll.“
“Thank you.“
You watched the Norwegian type on her phone. “You’re welcome.“
Sara had immediately texted you that night. And as the months had passed, texting her became a daily habit for you. From good morning to good night, you shared your free-time with her. You haven’t felt that connected with someone for a long time.
One day you decided to jokingly text her about your shared taste in music, not expecting anything from it.
“Fletcher has a concert in Barcelona. You should come with us, Sara.“
“To a Fletcher concert?“, she wrote back, seemingly unimpressed.
“Yes, Jana got tickets.“, you answered.
You waited impatiently, the three dots appearing as she typed.
“I can’t say no to that.“, appeared on your phone screen.
You smiled happily: “Perfect.“
A few weeks after your text conversation, you found yourself at the concert, singing along while Sara had her arms wrapped around you. It was a casual gesture as you swayed from side to side with the rhythm.
Jana rolled her eyes: “Ugh, stop, you two lovebirds!“
“We’re doing nothing!“, you laughed, full of innocence.
“Literally.“, Sara agreed, continuing to move you with her.
Jana pulled out her phone: “Wait, let me at least take a picture of how annoying you two are.“
She snapped a few photos, a fond smirk on her face. You turned your attention back to the singer. This night was perfect and you wanted to enjoy every moment of it.
The Fletcher concert was something you liked to think back to during your busy football season.
The same was true for the biggest game of the season, the Champions League final. As expected, it was a tight game, Lyon made it hard to get through their defense. Only Aitana and Alexia found a way. So when the final whistle sounded, you were overcome with a mix of relief and happiness.
You hugged your teammates tightly, still processing what you had just achieved when Ingrid tapped you on the shoulder and pointed towards the stands. “Y/n, look who came.“
You only blinked at her for a moment before your gaze finally followed the direction of her hand gesture.
Saras face grinned at you from the stands. The sight of her was enough to make your heart pound in your chest.
You left Ingrid standing and ran over to Sara, stopping right in front of the Frankfurt defender: “Sara, I thought you couldn’t be here?!“
She only flashed you a wry smile: “Change of plans.“
“That’s amazing.”, you muttered, exchanging a short, but soft kiss with your girlfriend.
“You’re welcome.”, Sara smirked at you, as she wrapped her arms around you into a hug.
Mirroring the happiness Laura Feiersinger appeared next to her former Frankfurt teammate:” I almost lost her at the place when they sold the cake.”
“Very typical.”, you giggled, it was no secret that your lover has a sweet tooth.
Nervously Sara put a loose string of hair behind her ear:” That’s not true.”
“Sure.”, the Austrian midfielder smiled amusedly.
“It just looked so delicious.”, the German player defended herself, while a blush crept onto her high cheekbones.
“To be fair it did.”, Laura admitted.
“See?”, Sara responded satisfied.
“Well, I do.”, you tuned into their conversation, before your girlfriend kissed you, to celebrate the Champions League win properly.
Having Sara with you during all the chaos which was going on in the night was very special to you. In the morning you two chose to go on a walk to see a bit of the city. It amazed you to watch your girlfriend being so in peace with herself.
The defender was a warm person and over the weeks you’ve been together she started to share some pieces of herself and her history which you found admirable. Her late coming out, a father who wasn’t saying anything against that, but also didn’t like to talk about it anymore.
The heartbreak Sara felt when the first woman she fell for broke up with her. It impacted her so much that during an important game she scored an own goal. And her questioning if she could ever fall in love like that again? The German player knew the answer now, she was capable of loving again, you showed her how.
Fast forward and it was time to be with your national teams again, you both couldn’t wait for the upcoming free days afterwards which you planned to spend together.
“Sara, we got to talk.”, Lena Oberdorf yelled at the older woman who just sat down with Felicitas Rauch in the dining room of the hotel they were staying at.
“About what?”, Sara frowned who didn’t know her best friend in the team knew what the young midfielder was thinking about.
“I was suspecting you fell in love again, but now Obi found proof of it multiple ones.”, the fellow defender who played in the USA explained with a cheeky smile on her lips.
“What are you talking about?”, the Frankfurt player asked her teammates innocently.
“You and y/n, who football wise is so out of your league.”, Lena replied grinning.
“Beauty wise too.”, Felicitas added in a teasingly tone.
“Excuse me? That’s not what friends are supposed to say.”, Sara protested, her mouth formed to a little pout.
Felicitas smiled apologetically: “Just kidding… but playing wise not. She’s at the best football club in Europe!“
“And she and her team won against you this season. Twice.“, Lena added, rubbing salt into the wound.
“I’m aware of that.“, Sara shrugged unimpressed.
“Just a friendly reminder.“, Lena said.
Sara rolled her eyes: “That doesn’t mean we can’t go out.“
“True. I guess she’s the reason you can’t visit me in the US in your free time?“, Felicitas asked, casually changing the subject.
“That’s not true! You’re always busy!“, Sara protested.
Her best friend raised her eyebrows: “So are you apparently!“
“It’s not because of her. I’m still a football player.“, Sara explained, cringing at the thought of how packed both of their schedules were.
“I know that. So when will you introduce me to her?“, Felicitas continued.
Sara only groaned in response.
In the evening, you were on the phone with Sara as she recounted the details of the talk she had with her teammates.
“So they know about us now?“, you concluded, a smile on your lips.
“Yes, apparently we’re on Ingrids photo dump.“, Sara replied with a laugh.
You shook your head about your Norwegian teammate: “Ingrid might have done that on purpose. Sorry for that.“
“Typical.“, Sara sighed, slight fondness for her former teammate sneaking into her voice.
“She said she had a feeling when she introduced us and I believe her.“
“There’s no way!“
You sucked in your breath in feigned shock: “And I thought you were the romantic!“
“Oh, I am. I just like to think that it was fate.“, Sara replied. You could almost hear the wink through the phone.
Lowering your voice, you whispered: “Me too. I want this to be forever.“

the grinch II Laura Freigang x Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
masterlist | word count: 1661
summary: Laura's in a festive mood already, reader isn’t, but maybe a visit at the Christmas market in Frankfurt can change that.
author's note: dear readers, we hope you'll like the black cat x golden retriever dynamic in this oneshot.💕
Your Friday nights were sacred to you.
While other people went out, you waited all week to stay inside and cozy up on your couch. After long hours at work, it was the perfect way to relax.
You let yourself fall onto the sofa, pulling your feet in under yourself and grabbing the remote.
It was just you, the movie you were about to pick out and… your girlfriend hanging up Christmas lights right above the TV.
You silently glared at her back but she continued adjusting the decorations while singing to herself: “All I want for Christmas is youuuuu, baby!”
She turned towards you, pretending to hold microphone in one hand and pointing at you with the other.
You blinked at her, forcing yourself to not grab the nearest pillow and throw it at her: “What is wrong with you? It’s way too early for that!”
It was still November and you were pretty grateful for that. You weren’t the biggest fan of Christmas. In contrast to your girlfriend who shook her head with a patient smile: “Nope. The first Christmas markets are open in Frankfurt and you and me will go there tonight with my team.“
The urge to smack a pillow in her face grew with every word but you stayed strong.
“No.“, you said simply but determined.
Laura sat next to you on the sofa, blinking at you with innocent eyes: “Come on, Liebling. You work so hard, you deserve to enjoy yourself from time to time too.“
“I wanted to enjoy myself by staying in and watching Netflix.“, you groaned.
“Please join us.“ She gave you her best puppy eyes and pulled her lips into a little pout.
It was cute but you really didn’t want to go.
You sighed: “Why? I don’t even like Christmas.“
“Liebling, the girls would love to see you again. And I love to brag about my amazing, talented girl.“, Laura grinned, coming closer and closer until her nose touched your neck. She carefully placed a kiss to your jaw.
You rolled your eyes and pushed her off: “You can’t sweet-talk me into going.“
Finally, she gave in and pushed herself off the sofa: “Okay, fine. I’ll get ready then.“
“Wait… you’re going alone?”, you asked.
“I won’t force you to come with me.“, Laura shrugged before heading to the bedroom.
You knew exactly what that meant. You could either let her go alone or you had to join her. So essentially she did force you.
“God, I hate you.“, you groaned as you finally turned off the TV and got up.
“No, you love me.“, Laura replied through the closed door.
“You’re lucky I do.“, you grumbled while you slipped into your warmest clothes.
When Laura returned in her puffer jacket and saw you pull on your boots, she asked excitedly: “Does that mean you’ll join us?”
“Do I have a choice?”, you sighed.
“I mean you do but…“, the rest of her reply was muted by the thick scarf she wrapped around herself in that moment.
You shrugged into your winter coat and reluctantly ushered her out of your shared apartment: “Don’t. Just go already, I don’t have all night.“
The scent of roasted almonds, cinnamon and gingerbread was the first thing you both noticed once you entered the Christmas market. The old townhouses including the town hall were looking like pieces of a winter children’s book and yet the Frankfurt skyline was shining in the background.
The mix of old and new was always there and something your girlfriend found so exciting she tried to capture it with her camera. For a second you tried to see the scenery through her blue eyes which sparkled like the fairy lights surrounding her.
With a big smile on her face, she waved at her teammates. “Hi girls!”
“Hey, you two.”, Sara grinned.
“You already got mulled wine without us?!”, Laura exclaimed.
“Don’t worry, we got some for you two.”, Barbara reassured the striker.
“Thanks, Baba.”, you replied, thankful for the hot drink warming your cold hands.
“You’re welcome.”, the Austrian replied.
“The Misses Grinch here didn’t want to leave the house at first, can you believe that?”, your girlfriend asked teasingly.
“And miss out on the Christmas market?”, Sophia shook her head in disbelief.
Grumpily you thought to yourself, wait until you all have 9 to 5 jobs.
“Yes, she said it’s too early to be in the mood for Christmas.”, Laura went on smirking.
“It’s.”, you protested.
“No, it’s never too early for that.”, Sara disagreed lifting her dog Peanut who was wearing a sweater with Christmas trees printed on it.
“Of course it’s.”, you grumbled. It was November, no one in the office you worked was in the festive mood because there was still too much work at the end of the year to do.
“Lau, you were right, your girlfriend is the grinch.”, Nicole observed amusedly.
“I told you.”, Laura answered.
“More Glühwein?”, Barbara offered.
“Please.”, you muttered, glad for the alcohol as well as for the warm company which you wouldn’t admit it to your girlfriend. The Austrian and you were the one getting the drinks for everyone, so you had missed a bit of the conversation. You couldn’t believe your ears what you heard next.
“Oh, my girl invests into women’s sport now by the way.”, Laura told her teammates in a proud tone.
“That’s great!”, Sara commented enthusiastically.
All the eyes of the football players were now on you, their attention made you blush even harder.
“Yeah, I mean it’s something different to my usual investments.”, you responded nervously.
“You’re making the right decision. Women’s sport is booming everywhere.”, Barbara promised.
“I still need her help for my side projects though.”, Laura winked at you before leaning into you. Even though they took a lot of her and your time, first the photo book and then her own clothing line. She was the creative head, and you were the one turning her ideas into actual products which could be sold and profitable.
“Yes, I’ll be there for that. But can we maybe stop talking about work?”, you requested.
“Of course. I’m just so proud of you.”, your girlfriend beamed at you, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead.
“Oh.”
“Cuties.”, Elisa hummed.
Was this the true spirit of Christmas or did the mulled wine finally kicked in?
Suddenly acutely aware of your girlfriends’ teammates watching, you cleared your throat and announced: “I’ll come to your game on Sunday by the way.“
“You will?”, Laura grinned excitedly.
“Yes, babe.“, you confirmed with a single nod.
“That’s amazing!”
Her lips were suddenly on yours, kissing longingly. You could taste sting of alcohol from the mulled wine on her breath.
You pulled away with heated cheeks: “I promised you that I would come to your next game.“
“What about another hat-trick, Laura? To celebrate her making an appearance.“, Sara joked, elbowing her teammate in the side.
“We’ll see. I will try my best.“, Laura winked.
You laughed lightly: “No pressure.“
“I’ll score at least one for you.“, she promised happily.
You stifled a laugh. Apparently the mulled wine had already gotten to her. “That’s very sweet of you.“
“While we’re at sweet… Do you want some chocolate covered strawberries?“, Laura smoothly changed the topic.
Only the thought of them, almost made you drool. You might not like Christmas markets but you had a weakness for the variety of chocolate fruits they sell there.
“I do. You know I love them.“
Laura smiled mischievously: “I do know what.“
“We should get some and then we need to go home before you are fully drunk.“, you joked, pointing at the mug she was holding.
Laura looked at you with raised eyebrows: “I’m not drunk, you’re drunk.“
“Uhu sure, love.“, you rolled your eyes, even though you couldn’t deny that you felt the alcohol.
“Just admit that you both had too much and go!”, Sara interrupted jokingly.
“Incredibly rude, Sara!”, Laura protested but her teammate just retorted with a casual shrug.
“It’s the truth.“
“Let’s just get the strawberries and leave, Lau. Bye, girls.“ You took Lauras hand and dragged her along as you waved goodbye to the rest of her team.
“Bye, see you on Sunday!”, Barbara called after you.
With your chocolate strawberries and some almonds for Laura, you went back home. With a sigh of relief, you kicked off your shoes and hung up your jacket.
“And? Wasn’t that bad after all, right Liebling?”
“It was… okay.“, you shrugged.
“Only okay?!”, Laura echoed, pretending to be offended.
You let yourself fall onto your spot on the sofa that you only reluctantly left earlier that evening.
“Well, it wasn’t as bad without you here.“, you admitted slowly.
A satisfied smile appeared on your girlfriends face: “I take that as a compliment.“
“You can.“
Sitting down next to you, she quickly kissed your cheek: “Thanks for coming with me. I had a lot of fun.“
“I could tell. You loved the Christmas market.“, you grinned back at her.
“Yes but don’t worry, I’ll always love you more.“, she winked.
You silently shook your head about her until Laura suddenly bursted into another Christmas song: “I don’t want a lot for Christmas, there is just one thing I need…“
Groaning, you let your head fall back: “Lau, I love you and I enjoyed the Christmas market tonight but it’s still way too early!”
Laura blinked at you innocently: “Says who?”
“Me!”
“Then stop me from singing.“, she teased.
“Come here.“ Without hesitation, you pulled her in for a passionate kiss that was enough to take Lauras breath away.
Maybe you didn’t like Christmas as much as Laura, but you loved the way her eyes lit up at the sight of the Christmas lights and how her nose and cheeks turned pink from the cold. Maybe she was worth visiting overcrowded Christmas markets and listening to stupid Christmas songs in November.

so american II Felicitas Rauch x Reader

masterlist I word count: 1912
a/n: hi, we hope you enjoy reading this oneshot, your feedback is always appreciated. <3
New starts could be hard. You knew that.
And you imagined they were even harder when you moved to a whole different continent.
But why the hell did your coach pick you out of all the players on the team to show the new player around?
It was not like you didn’t have anything to do in your free time. And you didn’t even know this woman.
She was german, played for their national team and she was a defender. That was all you could recall about her as you impatiently waited in front of the training grounds for her.
You checked the time on your phone. She was already late. What was that again about germans always being punctual?
But then she appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Her dark hair was tied back into a messy bun and she flashed you an apologetic smile.
You bit your lip. Maybe this wasn’t the worst way to spend your afternoon.
“Hello, Felicitas. Welcome to the Courage. I’ll show you around.“, you smiled brightly at her.
“Hi, y/n. Thank you. You can call me Feli by the way.“, she said. Her excitement was almost tangible.
You nodded once: “Alright, Feli. Let’s start with the training grounds.“
“Yes, please.“
You opened the gate to let you two in. Everything was quiet and empty, very different from the normal chaos of your training sessions.
You turned to Feli: “Follow me.“
“Right behind you.“, she grinned. That was, in fact, a lie. She walked right beside you, you could feel her eyes lingering on your side profile.
You suppressed a smile. She was not being subtle at all.
With every bit of professionalism, you continued your tour. You opened the door to a building and let your new teammate peek inside.
“Those are the changing rooms and over there are our physios.“, you explained, pointing towards a door down the hallway.
Feli nodded, taking in her new work place.
“Let’s look at the training pitches.“, you suggested and walked her back outside to the bright green grass.
A thought popped into your head all of a sudden and you stopped in your tracks: “Hey, Feli?“
The German defender looked at you with big eyes, a blush rising into her cheeks: “Uhm, yeah?“
“You’ve already seen your apartment, right?“, you asked her, slightly unsure about how much you were actually supposed to show her.
Feli visibly relaxed: “I did.“ With curious interest, she followed up with: “Are we neighbours? If so, I’d really appreciate any coffeeshop recommendations nearby.“
You laughed, a little surprised by her question: “Yes, I live close by. I can show you where you can get the best coffee.“
“Thanks. I can’t wait for the coffee date.”, she grinned excitedly.
“Coffee date?”, you lifted an eyebrow amused.
“I meant meeting for coffee, might got lost in translation.”, Feli cleared her throat nervously.
“Sounded a bit different, but okay.”, you shrugged smiling.
“Not my fault that you interpreted it that way.”, the German defended herself as she opened her bun only to redo it.
For a moment you had to shake yourself, Feli was right, maybe you misread her glances at you, and the defender looked at everyone that way. But a little part inside you doubted this.
“Right, so these are the pitches we get to work on, that’s the end of our little tour. Do you have any questions left?”, you asked her politely.
“Yes, when will we meet for a cup of coffee?”, she questioned beaming.
“I meant a real question, Feli.”, you rolled your eyes at her playfully.
“It’s a real question and I want a real question.”, Feli demanded with a charming smile on the lips.
“I’ll walk you home and we can get coffee on the way, Deal.”, you offered sighing. This woman took more time than you expected, you didn’t know if this was a good or a bad thing yet. A hot drink sounded great now. The winter sun shone down on the two of you, but you couldn’t wait until it was warmer again.
“Deal.”, she nodded happily.
“Okay, let’s go.”
“This is my favourite coffee shop.”, you declared later when you reached it.
Immediately the scent of fresh coffee beans and delicious sweets hit Felis nose who closed her eyes for a second.
“It’s really nice and it smells so good in here.”, the defender confirmed.
“You should try the cinnamon buns they’re very delicious. The owner’s wife is Swedish, and she bakes the best in town.”, you recommended.
“I think I’ll give them a try. You want to share one?”, Feli wanted to know.
“Yes, why not?” You waited until she took her first bite of the baked good before adding curiously. “And what do you think?"
“They’re really good.”, the German admitted.
“I told you so. I hope you’ll enjoy your time with us.”, you replied delighted.
“With those cinnamon buns and this coffee, I’ll.”, the brunette winked. Leaving a club she had stayed at so long and a league the player was so familiar with was a big change for her. Sitting next to you in that cozy coffeeshop assured Feli that the brave move was the right decision. You made her feel at home away from home.
“You’ll fit in great with the team, we’re all a bit addicted to coffee and occasionally sweet treats.”, you observed.
“Those are my kind of people.”, she answered cheerfully while you both finished drinking your coffees.
“You must be exhausted from your first day. I’ll get you to your front door.”, you decided.
Feli reluctantly agreed but still let you walk her home.
You hugged her goodbye in front of her door: “See you, Feli.“
But as you pulled away and turned around to leave, her hand closed around your wrist.
You looked back at her in surprise.
“Thank you, y/n.“, she said politely. There was something else in her voice, something earnest that you didn’t know how to interpret.
So you just smiled back at her: “You’re welcome.“
“Really.“, she emphasized.
“It was a pleasure.“
Feli opened her mouth like she wanted to say something but quickly thought better of it.
You waited for a moment in hopes that she would finally say what she wanted to say.
“What if I… want a date without the coffee? Or with coffee, if you’d want that…“, she stammered eventually.
Your face dropped. She was asking you out. “Seriously?“
The defender nodded: “Yes.“
“You just know me for a day.“, you pointed out.
“I know when I like someone. And I only asked for a date…“
You were still a bit confused about this situation but also very flattered. You had to appreciate her willingness to take a risk. And she was definitely your type.
“Yes, I’d like to go on a date with you, Feli.“
Her whole face lit up once the words were out: “You do?“
“I do.“, you confirmed with a laugh.
This would later prove to be one of the best decisions you ever made. Your first date turned to a second date and then into a third. You began seeing each other so often that you didn’t know where the dating ended and your relationship began.
And you had to admit, that it improved your playing when Feli was on the field with you. You even made it on the USWNT roster for the Olympics which meant you would be playing against your girlfriend in the group stage.
It was the game you were most excited for. When you finally arrived at the stadium and went out on the grass for the pitch inspection, you spotted Feli waving at you.
You walked over to give her a quick hug before rejoining with your teammates, not sure if your new coach would appreciate you spending too much time before the game with the German players.
You watched from the other side of the pitch as Ann-Katrin Berger, a goalie you knew from the NWSL, approached Feli.
“So are y/n and you…?“, she started, waiting for Feli to finish.
“A couple. Yes, why?“, Feli replied with a grin.
The goalkeeper shrugged nonchalantly: “Just asking.“
“How did you know?“
“I just know those things.“
Feli raised her eyebrows: “It’s your gaydar, huh?“
“It’s better than the regular gaydar.“, her German teammate smirked.
“Sure, Ann.“, Feli rolled her eyes before she motioned for you to come join her. “Y/n, come here.“
“Hi Ann, Feli was so excited to see you again.”, you greeted the goalkeeper warmly.
“She was? She’s such a baby.”, the older woman commented smirking.
“I’m not.”, Feli protested quickly.
“Yeah, more like Cinni is her baby.”, you corrected Ann.
“Cinni?”, she looked surprised between your girlfriend and you.
“She means my dog cinnamon.”, the defender explained blushing.
“I know what she means. I’m surprised you let her call your dog Cinni.”, Ann remarked.
“She’s allowed to say that because Cinnamon fell hard for her at first sight.”, Feli responded.
“Just like Feli herself.”, you teased her lovingly.
“I can tell.”, the goalkeeper grinned at you both.
“Y/n, we got to go back inside.”, Emily called for you.
“Coming!” With an apologetic smile you turned your head back to the two Germans. “Sorry, I’ve to leave.”
You could feel Felis eyes on you as you walked to your American teammate who was already waiting.
“Stop staring, we need to go too.”, Ann reminded the defender laughing.
“Exactly, stop being cute we’ve to play against her team.”, Sara interjected while giving her friend a side hug as they walked to their changing room.
“I know that.”, Feli playfully pushed the Frankfurt defender away.
“Let’s beat them.”, the short haired woman chirmed.
They lost 4:1 against your team.
“Y/n, don’t take too long.”, Emily requested once she noticed that you were about to console your girlfriend.
“I promise I won’t.”, you reassured her.
“Feli, hi.”, you softly put a hand on the brunette’s shoulder.
“Hi.”, she looked up with a sad smile on her face.
“Do you still want to swap jerseys?”, you asked the defender cautiously.
“You think I’m mad at you because you beat us? It’s only the group stage.”, Feli answered, the sadness was gone.
“Ah, there’s your smile again.”, you observed happily.
“Now give me your jersey.”, the football player demanded grinning.
“She’ll sleep in that tonight.”, Sara intervened chuckling.
“Ew, gross.”, you wrinkled your nose.
“Sara.”, your girlfriend clicked her tongue.
“Y/n.”, Emily shouted in the background.
“I’m on my way.”, you told your teammate.
“See you soon, Feli.” When she didn’t let you go, you added. “I really got to go, Liebling.”
“Wait you forgot something.”, Feli whispered before kissing you.
“Ew.”, Sara pretended to throw up jokingly in the background, but you both ignored her.
“Shut up, Sara!”, you two replied.
Rude.”, the older defender pouted.
From the corner of your eye, you saw Sara shaking her head in amusement before your girlfriend draw your attention back to her. This kiss tasted sweeter than the win.
Later when you were back in your hotel room which you shared with Emily who was reading her e-book you saw that Feli send you a photo which was taken in the changing room, her hair was slightly messy, and she was wearing your jersey proudly. The message underneath the picture said: Good night, Liebling. Sweet dreams.
And you indeed slept sweet that night with the feeling that you were very much loved.

one kiss is all it takes II Laura Freigang x Reader
Tumblr media
masterlist I word count: 1616
a/n: Hi, it's inspired by the request here, we hope you enjoy it. <3
Home games in Frankfurt were always something special to you.
But then again, you would never complain about away games either. You knew your traveling fans could make any stadium feel like you were playing at home. You liked that it gave you a few days to only focus on the upcoming game and leave your worries back in Frankfurt.
At least you would be focused, if someone would not point their camera at you once again…
You lifted both your hands, trying to shield your face from being photographed.
“Laura, stop it.“, you groaned. Why did she always have to have that stupid camera with her, even on the pre-game walk?
The young midfielder slowly dropped her analog camera and caught up with you: “Come on, it’s just a photo.“
“You always say that and then I see my face all over your instagram photo dumb account!“, you rolled her eyes at her.
Laura shrugged, a slight crease appearing between her eyebrows: “They always look good so I don’t know why you’re complaining.“
“Good? Sure, Freigang.“, you replied while you continued to walk.
“It’s true. Ask the others.“
You sighed reluctantly before turning to Sara Doorsoun who walked right behind you. Knowing her, she probably had been listening to the whole conversation, so you only asked: “Sara, what do you think?“
The German defender smirked slightly: “With the amount of pictures she is taking of you, I’d say Lau has a crush on you.“
You could not stop the involuntary laughter that came out of your mouth: “Good joke, Sara. She does that with Syd and Klara too.“
“Sure.“, Sara answered, unconvinced.
“It’s true. You don’t have to sure me.“, you warned her.
“I’ll sure you until you see it too.“ She gently bumped her shoulder against yours.
“The only thing I see is that Lau is the most annoying person on the team.“, you commented, your gaze fixed on Laura who was already a few steps in front of your again and back to taking photos of her other teammates.
Sara raised one eyebrow as she looked at you: “You think Lau is the most annoying person on the team?“
“Yes.“
The defender grimaced upon your answer: “I feel like you don’t hang out enough with the youngsters.“
“I agree!“, Shekiera Martinez’ voice piped up right next to you. “You’re always the first one to leave any party or team event.“
“That’s not even true!“, you protested.
Nicole Anyomi, looking effortlessly cool as always, gave Sara a look: “Right, maybe Sara is even quicker now that she’s seeing someone again.“
Saras cheeks turned slightly red: “Rude!“
“She’s got a point.“, you agreed with the young striker.
“Maybe.“, Sara slowly admitted.
You felt bad for your friend, so you casually distracted from her: “Also, that’s not the topic right now.“
“Right, this is about Laura and you.”, Sophia Kleinherne reminded your temmates with a mischievous smile on her lips.
“No, this is about Laura being annoying with her stupid photos.”, you rolled your eyes at her. You loved your teammates, but sometimes you wished they would care more about themselves than others, especially in this situation.
“You’d miss something if she would just stop.”, Lara Prašnikar threw in with an amused twinkle in her eyes.
You let out a frustrated groan. Was this so hard for them to comprehend why you didn’t like what the blonde hobby photographer was doing.
“Not really. I like to keep my social media presence private, but she keeps posting me.”, you tried to explain your thoughts to the fellow players.
“Because she can’t stop thinking about you.”, Sara remarked, through the words her romantic being shone through which annoyed you even more.
“That’s stupid, Sara.”, you scoffed at her. Despite your protest, the sentence of the defender would haunt you through the day. Even when you laid down in the hotel room during the break, before you all would travel to the stadium. Could there be some truth to the older woman’s observation? She was never that far off when it came to love, except when it was her own heart which was so breakable unlike yours.

“Hi, y/n, did you see Lauras post?”, you shrieked while Barbara Dunst asked you this, you haven’t heard or seen her come into the room you shared.
“Yes, I did, Baba.”
“Don’t murder her before the game, okay?”, the Austrian joked laughing.
“Okay, but she needs to stop posting me with such captions. I’m serious.”, you sighed, pressing a white pillow to your chest to underline your frustration with Laura.
“Oh, everyone knows it’s just a joke.”, Barabara reassured you in a warm tone.
“I don’t like when people make fun of me.”, your mouth was formed to a pout.
“She’s not making fun of you.”, she disagreed seriously.
“What do you mean?”, you looked at her in honest curiosity.
“It’s just teasing. She’s waiting for a reaction.”, the midfielder told you in a matter-of-factly voice.
“Isn’t me being annoyed reaction enough?”, you wanted to know from your teammate who was a good friend of the woman who loved taking photos of you whenever she could.
“You mean the one where you’re pouting and ignoring her? No.”, Barbara shook her head.
“Oh.”
“But that’s something for after the game. Want to go and grab a coffee from downstairs, before we go to the stadium.”, the Austrian changed the topic cheerfully.
“I do.”, you told her while she was already on the way to the door, leaving no further room to think about what Laura exactly was waiting for.
Frankfurt won their away game with a hard-fought 1:0. You were relieved that you got the three points because it meant that you secured your spot as the third in the league and in the Champions League qualification. From the way your teammates celebrated around you, you could tell they felt the same way.
As you watched on, Lauras face appeared in front of you. A few stray hairs had escaped her slicked back ponytail during the game.
“Y/n? Good game.”
“Thanks.”, you replied politely.
It was clear to you that the midfielder was not yet done talking, so you waited for her to continue.
Laura took a deep breath: “Also I deleted all the pictures of you on my instagram account as you didn't seem to enjoy them.”
This revelation took you by surprise: “All of them?”
“Yes, I thought that's what you wanted all along.”
“I did. But all of that seems a bit… drastic, don't you think?”, you asked, trying to put your confusion into words.
“No. See you, y/n.”, Laura replied and turned around to leave.
Surprised, you watched her for a moment before you called after her: “Laura.”
The midfielder stopped in her tracks, looking back at you: “What?”
You bridged the gap between the two of you. The things your teammates told you were circulating in your brain.
You gathered all your courage and said: “If you like me, just say that.”
Lauras eyes widened for a second before she admitted: “I wanted to kiss you the whole season… when I scored against Barca, at every team event, when we secured the third place today… but I guess I've to accept that you don't feel the same so deleting the pictures was the first step.”
You were taken aback by her reply. There were a million things you wanted to say but what came out first was: “You should have said something instead of taking these stupid photos.”
“I hoped that way you would notice the person behind the camera.” Laura bit her lip subconsciously.
“I only noticed how much I hate being photographed!”
Your teammate studied your face: “I don't get why. You're just so beautiful and interesting. I love capturing you on film.”
You could feel the heat rise in your cheeks: “Just don't, Laura.”
She nodded slowly: “Okay, I‘ll respect that in the future.”
For a moment, you did not know what to say. She looked beautiful, standing in front of you and apologizing.
“And maybe I'll make an exception for you sometimes. Maybe.”
“Wait, what?” Her eyes immediately brightened.
“I do like a few photos to be honest. They carry some memories.”, you admitted with a shrug.
“Do you have any favourites.”, Laura asked in a genuinely interested tone.
“Laura, I don’t want to talk about the stupid photos right now.”, you groaned, hiding the face in your hand.
“What do you want to talk about instead?”, the blonde responded.
“This is why I hate it. You’re always busy with photography and never focus on the moment.”, you told her frustrated, you never felt the gap between you both by two years, you’re being the older more than in this moment.
“I guess there’s a truth to your words, but when all is over, I want to remember everything and pictures help with that.”, she confessed passionately.
“Can you just shut up and kiss me already.”, you begged her, at this point your patience has been gone, leaving only the yearning for the younger player to touch you.
Much to your surprise Laura did stop talking immediately and pressed her lips on yours, giving you a heartfelt kiss making sure you both would never forget the first one. Little did you know that a lot of firsts would follow afterwards. For now, all you and her did was enjoying the moment.
The first kiss would be one of your favourite memories. In your mind it was like a framed picture, you’d come to love to look at especially on bad days.

we'll always have Paris II Élisa de Almeida x GERWNT! Reader
Tumblr media
masterlist I word count: 1292
a/n: hi, this oneshot was requested, to the one who sent it in, sorry that it took so long.
It was France versus Germany in the half final of the Women’s Nations League. In this match you were playing against a lot of your teammates but also your girlfriend from Paris Saint-Germany. Each team just had finished singing their national hymns, so it was time for you to shake the hands of your opponents.
“Ohh, your amour is starting to walk to us.”, Laura Freigang who was standing right before you in line, turned her face to comment with a huge smirk on her lips.  Much to your own annoyance Sydney Lohmann made kissing noises to highlight the Eintracht Frankfurt players observation.
“Shut it, Lau and Syd.”, you rolled your eyes at them before turning your attention to your girlfriend who was about to take your hands in hers.
“Salut, Élisa.”
“Salut.”, Élisa greeted you accompanied with a boyish wink.
“I’m going to puke!”, Laura who was bad at staying quiet for too long exclaimed jokingly.
“Don’t forget you play for our side because of that French charmer.”, Sydney reminded you grinning.
“I’ll never forget that.”, you replied sincerely.
“They think you’re that unprofessional?”, your girlfriend rose her eyebrows in surprise.
Clearing your throat, you told her:” Get to your position De Almeida. We’re here to play.”
“Whatever you say, mon amour. I’ll make sure to lift my shirt enough times to distract you with my abs.”, she smiled cheekily at you.
“That won’t work, ma chéri.”, you answered confidently.
“We’ll see about that.”
“Good, luck babe.”, you said before you both turned to your starting position on the pitch waiting for the referee to start the match.
During the game, it was still 0:0 at that time, Sara Doorsoun whispered amused into your ear:” Y/n, the abs of your girlfriend, she’s kind of hot.”
“Stop it, Sara and please stay focused.”, you replied laughing.
“I’m focused.”, the older defender stated.
“Good.”, you nodded satisfied.
“But not bad.”
“Sara!”, you yelled at her.
“Just saying.”, she responded sheepishly smiling.
Secretly, you knew that your teammate was right about your girlfriend, but this was an important game and you always wanted to win even if it was against Élisa. Unfortunately, the football match went in favour of the hosts and Germany lost 2:0.
Exhausted you fell onto your knees after the final whistle of the referee. “We lost.”, you muttered more to yourself than to anyone in particular.
“Shit. You still had a good game.”, Laura tried to cheer you up and padded your shoulder encouragingly.
“And don’t forget we’ve another game to qualify for the Olympics.”, Sydney added.
“Yeah, let’s beat the Netherlands.”, Lena Oberdorf sounded motivated.
“Against Jackies team.”, you remarked, the blonde Dutch was one of yours and your girlfriend closest friends in Paris.
Deep in your own thoughts you didn’t hear Élisa coming, only until she spoke directly to you:” You’ll win the next game.”
“Congrats to your win.”, you mumbled.
The French defender thanked you as she helped to lift you from the ground, so you both could look into each other’s eyes.
You swallowed hard, trying to hide your own disappointment: “You played really great.“
“So did you.“, Élisa replied. Her face was serious. Evidence that she actually meant it and wasn’t just trying to cheer you up.
“That’s what Laura said to.“, you told her.
A small smile appeared on your girlfriends face. With a wink, she reached out and tilted your head upwards with her fingers under your chin: “She didn’t lie to you. Now come on, chin up. You’ll win the next game and qualify for the Olympics.“
“Hopefully.“, you sighed. Your girlfriends optimism was lost on you.
“Also, remember, we’ll always have Paris.“, Élisa grinned, quoting the famous line from the movie Casablanca.
You involuntarily snorted about her dumb joke. “Okay, Humphrey Bogart, I’d like my girlfriend back who gives me a hug and a kiss to make up for this loss.“
Élisa looked at you with a smirk: “A hug and a kiss, huh?“
“Yes. You know, we still have a few days in camp left until we’re back in Paris.“, you said, blinking at her with big innocent eyes.
“And you can’t wait for that long.“, your girlfriend concluded.
“No but if you can, I have to join my team now.“ You pointed over your shoulder where Sydney impatiently bounced on her feet and Laura mimed looking at an invisible watch.
“Okay, come here. One quick kiss.“, Élisa smiled and pulled you close.
You quickly pressed your lips to hers while wrapping your arms around her waist.
“See you in Paris.“, you whispered as you pulled apart.
Lena passed the two of you and grimaced in disgust: “Okay, enough hugs and kisses from the wrong team.“
“Obi, you’re awful!“, you laughed.
Still, you gave your girlfriend one last hug goodbye before following your team mate to the rest of the team.
Sydney determinedly shook her head: “No, she did the right thing.“
You were used to their teasing by now so you only rolled your eyes fondly: “If you girls say so.“
“We do!“, Laura said with emphasis.
You smiled. This team was really something very different than Paris Saint-Germain.
Your second game was against the Netherlands. Whoever won this game would be qualified for the Olympics. The stakes were high and everyone knew it. But your team put on a brilliant performance, beating the Oranje Leeuwinnen with 2:0.
After extensive celebrations the night of the game, you arrived at your apartment in Paris on the next day.
“Hi, I’m home!“, you called, letting your suitcase drop right on the floor. You were still exhilarated from the win.
Élisa appeared from the kitchen: “Hi.“
You crossed the distance to her quickly and jumped right into her arms: “We’re going to the Olympics!“
Laughing, she tried to hold her balance: “I know, I’m so happy for you.“
“Poor Jackie though remind me to invite her to dinner soon.”, you sighed empathetically.
“She’ll be fine, trust me. That’s football. You win some, you lose some. No one should know that better than you.”, the defender reminded you while carrying you to the sofa to place you down on it.
“Yes, it was really a rollercoaster ride.”, you admitted as your girlfriend sat down next to you.
“But with a happy ending.”, Élisa grinned at you.
“Right.”, you nodded enthusiastically.
“Can’t wait to go to Paris with you.”, she muttered.
“Actually, that’s great, we’re already there.”, you joked laughing.
“I meant at the final of the Olympics and you know that.”, the French player corrected you.
Her mentioning the end game made your cheeks turn hot: “I know but I couldn’t resist.”
“The qualification clearly has gotten to your head.”, Élisa teased you.
Swiftly you changed the topic away from football: “So, what should we do now?”
“Oh, I have a few ideas.”, the dark-haired woman answered with a dirty smile on her lips.
“Does this involve the bedroom?”, you asked her cheekily.
“Absolutely.”
“I like that a lot.”, you confessed. The weeks away from each other due to national team duties always made you hungry for your lover’s touch, you could feel the sexual tension rise in air.
“Follow me then.”, Élisa said, holding her hand up for you to grasp it before leading you to your shared bedroom. Seeing the bottle of red wine on the nightstand and the rose petals on the bed send you thrills of excitement through your body.
You might have lost against her in the nations league game, but you knew you won her heart as you followed her to bed, awaiting the kisses and touches you both have missed. Knowing deep inside that Paris and the women you loved were always worth coming back to.

Girl of my Dreams(Sara DoorsounXReader Feat Fletcher)
Tumblr media
Warning: swearing, mentions of s*xual content
You and Sara have been dating for around 8 months now. Basically since you transfered from Wolfsburg to Frankfurt. Originally you have been from New York City. Your dad is American while your Mom is from germany.
The brunette was so excited to go to a Fletcher Concert with you. You did manage to hide the fact that you weren't looking forward to that at all. Not because her music was bad because it wasn't, but more because quite a few Songs were about you. The two of you used to date when you and her were like 17 years old.
So the fact that you two were invited to Go backstage because Sara talked about your ex on social Media and said how much she enjoyed her music made you feel sick. Somewhat in your mind you were hoping cari wouldn't make it known that you knew one another when you would go to her concert but of course that was most likely wishful thinking.
The two of you won't be going alone though. No Laura & Stina would be going with you. This was probably gonna make it even more awkward. But you just couldn't get yourself to admit that the songs your girlfriend liked so much were partly about you. Like 'S*x with my ex' or 'wasted youth' yeah those for example.
A little while later that day the four of you were having some lunch at a little Café close to the venue in Cologne where the Concert would be. Turned out luck really was never on your side because sure as hell Cari (Fletcher) walked in with her best friend Alex and her band. Even worse for you, both Cari & Alex noticed you right away walking over to you. "Y/n! Long time no see!" Alex spoke up. "Yeah it's has been quite the few years!" You replied. "You still look like a fucking dream!" Cari told you. What you also noticed was the eyes of Stina, Laura and Sara, your girlfriend were on the two of you. "Wait you call her Cari? And she said you STILL look like a dream? Do you know her personally?" Sara wanted to know. Alex was too quick to answer so you couldn't slowly let your girlfriend in on this. "They know every Inch of one another." She told your girlfriend and your friends. "Alex!" You and Cari spat out at the same time. "We were a couple, in high school." You explained. "And hooked up a few times when we were like 19. After that we didn't really communicate much. Just a Message whenever one of us had a Birthday." You explained "Some Songs are about me but Babe i promise that it doesn't mean anything. I only love you!" You were really stressed out about this. And for sure did regret not telling your girlfriend about it. Stina & Laura just stared back and forth between you, sara and cari. "You didn't think mentioning that the Artist i like happens to be someone you slept with?! And some Songs are about you?! Babe that's not cool!"Sara answered. At least she still called you babe so things were still fixable. Good for you! "I know Babe! I am so sorry! I didn't want to make a big deal out of it!" You tell her and take her hand. "Can we talk? In private?" You wanted to know and she nodded her head, standing up as you lead her to the restroom.
Leaving Cari, Alex, Stina and Laura behind. You lock the door behind the two of you. "Please Sara don't break up with me! I know i messed up by not telling you! I just didn't want to make it awkward. Didn't work that well, did it?" You stammer out. Sara let out a small chuckle. Taking your hands in hers. "Love, i sure not happy about you not telling me and i hope you will be honest with me from now on but it's not like you cheated on me and i am not gonna lie i find it kind of hot that i am with you while she clearly still has a thing for you! Yet i am the one you kiss and sleep with!" She answered. There was this mischievous grin on her lips and you knew what that meant. So you grinned as well now. "Honesty from now on!" You whisper out as she pushed you against the Wall of the restroom, biting your earlobe gently ,which resulted in you covering your mouth with your hand moaning into it. Things got alot more heated and let's just say you left the bathroom with shaking knees and Hickeys in different places of your body. Life was great at the moment.
When you two got back to your table Stina & Laura were alone. Cari, Alex and the Crew were gone. By the way the two of you looked when you returned both could tell what you did in the bathroom. "Had fun, talking?" Laura asked teasingly. You blushed and sara chuckled softly. "We did! Thanks for asking, Laura!" She replied and slapped your butt playfully. Which made you giggle shyly. Was a bit embarrassing but oh well. "That is wild! Even for you Guys!" Stina answered and laughed. "If you are curious they left a while ago and said the look forward to seeing us later at the concert!" Laura informed you.
After you ate and talked some more you went to the Concert & went Backstage to talk to Cari. She actually ended up being quite happy for you two and said she would sing at yours and saras wedding. For free of course. All of you ended up at a bar somehow and you just all enyjoyed eachothers company. You and sara always stayed close to one another . One of the most fun but also weirdest days in your lifes.
