Info on my Digimon Frontier Next Gen OCs
Wives
Maaya- wife of Kouichi; actress mainly specializing in stage musicals; wavy brown hair, grey eyes, bit of a perky goth; was among the kids who was called to the digital world but was immediately told to go back (she initially tried staying with Katsuharu's group for a little bit but unlike them immediately followed Angemon's suggestion to go home after Angemon saved her from... uhh... Boogiemon); knows about Kouchi having been the Legendary warrior of darkness; was raised by a single mom who only saw her as a burden and generally treated Maaya like garbage and favored her brother; didn't go to high school because her mom and brother thought that would be a waste of money and wanted to get a job right out of middle school instead; Met Kouichi at one of her part-time jobs when they were 19; They eloped a a year later in order to keep Maaya's mom and brother from marrying her off to some creep Maaya's mom and brother owed money to; Maaya and Kouichi waited three before even thinking about having kids
Lily- wife of Kouji; albino; born in Shreveport, Louisiana; began working as a cruiseline singer immediately after high school in order to get away from her toxic family who could make Kouji and Kouichi's own family situation look like the Brady Bunch; about a year or 2 later, she spent one of vacations backpacking through Europe and wound up meeting Kouji and convinced him to get work as a cruiseline singer as well. They soon wound up working on the same cruise ship not long after; they got married and moved to Japan when Lily became pregnant with Akira; died when their son was 4.
Abigail- wife of Junpei; Afro-British; a scientist of some kind
Fuyuko- wife of Tomoki; orange hair; born in Sapporo
Children
Romano- son of Takuya and Izumi; about 15 or 16 when he inherits the Spirits of Flame; looks a lot like Takuya but with Zoe's eyes and skin tone (his hair also lacks Takuya's spikiness); likes to cook and is really good at it; also enjoys listening to music and audiobooks; kinda shy; blind due to complications from having been born prematurely
Ciela- daughter of Takuya and Izumi; a 7th grader when she inherits the spirits of wind; has blonde hair like Izumi (typically worn in a ponytail) but has Takuya's brown eyes, tan skin, and even sports the same goggles he once wore; a daddy's girl who inherited her dad's love of soccer; very energetic
Hina- Takuya and Izumi's much younger daughter; she'll either only 3 during the events of the sequel or she won't be born until some point between late into the sequel and the epilogue (depending on how long Izumi and Takuya's disappearances occur prior to the events of the sequel); likes fairies
Wakana- eldest daughter of Kouichi; in 7th grade when she inherits the spirits of Darkness; the spitting image of Kouichi save for her grey eyes and her hair being long and wavy (usually worn in a braid); plays the piano and has a lovely singing voice
Shion- younger daughter and middle child of Kouichi; 5 or 6 years old; tiny version of her mom save for her blue eyes
Hibiki and Soma- fraternal twin sons off Kouichi; 2 years old; Hibiki has Kouichi's hair and eyes while Soma has brown hair and grey eyes like Maaya
Akira- son of Kouji; in 8th grade when he inherits the spirits of light; inherited his mom's albinism (or at least her white hair) but otherwise looks like Kouji; top of his class; bombastic social butterfly compared to his dad
Toshiro- son of Junpei; 5th grader when he inherits the spirits of Lightning; looks like a male version of his mom save for his dad's eyes; likes American comics; likes to draw and is part of his school's art club; wishes to draws manga or comics someday
Yuki- son of Tomoki; orange hair and green eyes; 3rd grader when he inherits the spirits of ice
Misaki- Tomoki's niece via his brother; 8th grader when she becomes the new legendary warrior of wood; auburn hair and green eyes; childhood friends with Akira; does gymnastics; Yutaka acts as the primary caregiver due to his wife's work requiring her to travel a lot, and he's been teaching Misaki various life skills from a young age

Fostering an Inclusive Society: Supporting Children with Medical Needs
In 2021, 'The Act on Support for Children with Medical Needs Sets the Stage for Inclusive Education
A significant step was taken in 2021 to support children with medical needs as the "Act on Support for Children with Medical Needs" was set to go into effect. With this new legislation in place, governments, nursery schools, kindergartens, and schools have been working diligently to create a more inclusive system that can accommodate children with medical conditions. The aim is to foster an environment where both adults and children can have ample interactions with those who require medical care, thereby promoting a more compassionate and understanding society.
Creating Connections through Play: A Collaboration with NPO Aeria Hokkaido Medical Care Children's Family Association Team Dosanco
To build a bridge of connection and understanding, a collaborative effort was initiated with the NPO Aeria Hokkaido Medical Care Children's Family Association Team Dosanco. The idea was to provide a unique opportunity for children with medical needs to engage in play and fun activities at the team lab that came to the Sapporo Art Park. The event received heartwarming feedback, with participants expressing their gratitude for the chance to play together. Comments like, "It takes courage to go to teamLab by ourselves, so I'm glad we were able to go with everyone," and "I was able to play with my siblings," demonstrated the significance of such initiatives in creating positive experiences for these children. Addressing Challenges and Seeking Future Improvements While the event garnered praise for its positive impact, it also brought to light some disparities between pre-inquiry expectations and the actual situation. This provided valuable insights for future events, emphasizing the need for continuous improvement and better coordination.
Growing Numbers of Children Requiring Medical Care Demands Inclusive Education Measures
As the number of children requiring medical care continues to rise each year, the importance of inclusive education measures cannot be overstated. In 2021, we introduced the "Act on Support for Children in Medical Care" to address this growing concern. However, there has been an observation that many qualified medical, welfare, and nursing care workers lack experience in dealing with children in medical care. Overcoming this, we took a new approach to foster connections through play, rather than maintaining the traditional support-receive support dynamic. Supporting Siblings: Enabling Carefree Play Through Collaboration One of the significant challenges faced by families with children requiring medical care is the reluctance of siblings to venture out alone. Having other adults and children join in play activities gave siblings the opportunity to enjoy themselves without any reservations. The presence of multiple adult caregivers provided additional support and made it easier for families to participate in events, reducing the burden of going out alone.
Sharing Information and Spreading Understanding: A Collaborative Project
Recognizing families' hesitations due to a lack of concrete information, we launched a collaborative project to provide insights into the experience. Families of children requiring medical care often rely on buggies for mobility, leading to concerns about accessibility at events like the "teamLab Learn! Future amusement park and animals living with Flowers" at Sapporo Art Park. By sharing firsthand information and addressing specific concerns related to buggy access, welfare vehicle parking, and participation options, the hope was to encourage more families to join and create memorable experiences. A Call for Consideration and Support: Building Empathy for Families with Medical Care Children Through this initiative, the aim was not only to provide an enjoyable event but also to raise awareness of the challenges faced by families with children requiring medical care. We hope that experiencing these difficulties firsthand will incline more people to offer a helping hand and show consideration for the unique needs of these families. The shared experiences and understanding gained from playing together can lead to a more compassionate and supportive community for children with medical needs and their families.
Conclusion
The collaborative event at Sapporo Art Park serves as an inspiring example of how play and shared experiences can foster inclusion and understanding for children with medical needs. With the "Act on Support for Children with Medical Needs" now in effect, such initiatives play a crucial role in shaping a more compassionate and supportive society for all. By actively addressing challenges, sharing information, and building empathy, we can create a more inclusive world where every child has the opportunity to thrive and play without barriers. Stickup is a code-based generative lyrics video I directed and programmed for the track Stickup (itunes.apple.com/us/album/stick-up-feat.-juliette-lewis/id1059843613) by Karma Fields (soundcloud.com/karmafields) & MORTEN (soundcloud.com/mortenofficial) featuring Juliette Lewis (twitter.com/JulietteLewis). The entire lyrics video consists of multiple stages that are programmed and generated using Processing.
The system for generating the visuals is partially derived from the one previously used in Build the Cities (vimeo.com/121096680). Lyrics are parsed, making each layer of quadtree structure subdivide itself to a corresponding pattern. ____________________________________________________________

Birthday Princess on Vacation!
It’s my one very special day of the year for a beloved girl that’s very close to my own heart! Hatsune Miku is celebrating her 13th anniversary this year! She’s taking up a cute, sugary sweet style and hitting the beach on vacay before summer wraps up! She’s got everything she needs to have an awesome day in that cute Miku way of hers. Seems she brought along a bunch of song references as well! It wouldn’t be a birthday celebration without all the music, after all. 13 years of songs, art, festivals, expos, laughs, tears, and endless possibilities. From the magical stages across Japan and around the world, to the snow covered winter streets of her hometown Sapporo, to the racetracks where she reigns supreme, to being a fashion model for apparel and game collabs (and even vehicles!), and into the wonderful lyrics she sends our way, Miku is a traveling queen! Thank you to all those artists, creators, and producers that made Miku who she is today. We wouldn’t be here without you all. The future holds no bounds for our twintailed star. Let that wonderful star of yours shine brightest in the starry night sky. Miku’s off to head into the bright future ahead! 39!

Review: Nendoroid 701 Snow Miku: Twinkle Snow Ver.
There are some Nendo I buy because they have parts I want, some I buy because I’m a fan of the character they’re based on and there are some I buy because they just are too adourable.
Nendoroid Snow Miku: Twinkle Snow Ver. belongs to the last category and she’s still my all time fave Nendo for beauty, no one looking as adourable as her in my books.
Expensive... as almost all the Snow Miku, but if there’s a Snow Miku I don’t regret buying in the slightest (and I love my other Snow Miku) it’s her.
But, in case you’re not familiar with the term, why is she called a “SNOW MKU” and not just ‘Hatsune Miku’?
During "Sapporo Snow Festival 2010" a snow sculpture of 'Hatsune Miku,' was created. From that moment on "SNOW MIKU" became one of the main characters of Hokkaido winter with her own "SNOW MIKU" festival, held each year, her figure being turned into a different Nendo each year.
From 2012 the costume design for "SNOW MIKU" is selected in an online competition on different themes every year.
Nendoroid Snow Miku: Twinkle Snow Ver. is the winner of the 2017 competition whose theme was 'Stars and Constellations of the Winter Hokkaido'.
You can also see a rabbit near Miku, that’s Rabbit Yukine, her pet, a lepus timidus ainu (a kind of mountain hare), chosen as her pet among the animals in winter of Hokkaido, from among the public in 2014 (although in 2013 Snow Miku already had a snow bunny with herself).
Well, now let’s give a look to the illustration made by illustrator Nishina that inspired her.
You might notice Yukine looks different because he’s actually based on an illustration made by another illustrator LF.
I’ll let you see the official art for her as well because it’s worth it.
And now let’s dig into how this Nendo is.
Snow Miku: Twinkle Snow Ver.’s package is a special package created just for her. The package is in a pristine white (though due to poor illumination it might not seem so) with images of her behind it and on its sides. Do yourself a really HUGE favour and avoid buying bootlegs of this Nendo. She might be expensive but her beauty is worth it.
If you raise the bottom part you get this:
a beautiful pop up snow and star filled scenery just for her which can work as a stage for her to sing her songs.
If you instead open the right side of the box you are first shown the draw that inspired her...
... then you can pull her blister pack out, with Snow Miku in all her beauty wrapped in protective plastic.
And here she’s unwrapped.
As you can see she comes with many interesting accessories (and her stand is attached below the blister pack).
But let’s go with order.
The less insteresting part first, her stand and Yukine’s.
Yukine’s stand and brace are the standards for pets and companions.
In the past I talked of how Nendoroid Mami Tomoe Maiko ver. has the same stand and brace for Bebe.
The brace is not the standard one but the one used for female Nendoroids with hair floating on their backs. I talked about it, talking about Nendoroid Asirpa. I don’t know why they gave her this brace as her long hair are tied into twintails at the sides of her head and therefore don’t fall on her back.
Whatever, maybe it support better her weight as due to those twintails she IS heavier than many other Nendo.
The base is a square one but huge compared to the standard base, likely that big to host the overmentioned twintails as well.
Of course we’ve instructions in English and Japanese.
And now let’s look at all of Snow Miku’s disassembled parts!
We’ll start with the legs.
Snow Miku comes with some delicious blue ballerinas with the sole in gold, a single lovely garter wrapped in an equally lovely blue string on her left leg and adourably cute poofy underwear.
Yes, she has two set of underwears because if you use the one on the right with the bent legs you can have her sitting down.
It’s also worth to note how the peg connecting her lower body to her chest is a mobile one, allowing her more mobility in the waist area compared to many other Nendo.
I love how they carefully depicted all the folds of te gaiter and of her underwears.
Arms now.
We’ve 4 arms, 2 right ones and 2 left ones, but the upper part can be removed, allowing for even more posing.
The long sleeves in a pale blue with parts of dark blue and a white line with a lovely star attached at the end are incredibly cute and again the folds are well depicted.
The hands, 6, are covered by blue fingerless gloves. In addition to the standard open and closed hands we’ve hands to hold a beautiful snow star crystal...
and one to hold the baton to direct the orchestra as she sings.
Apparently the star crystal can’t be removed but the baton can. It’s very tiny and of a beautiful gold colour.
Another accessory she can hold is her cute star shaped pillow.
This one isn’t of solid plastic but of a soft, squishy material. I love it.
And now let’s give a look at her body.
Her dress is a mix of blue, pale blue, gold and white. It’s elegant and lovely with all those beautiful fonds and details and the colours mixing so well.
Behind there’s a ribbon and it becomes almost translucent, as if it was a cape with, again, two lovely little stars.
Really, the care for details is amazing in this one.
Here, admire it with all its parts.
Faceplates now!
They’re three but each expression is lovely. For start they all have adourable gold star shaped earrings.
Stars are also shining in Miku’s eyes, both as light in her eyes but also in her wink.
The fist expression have a cute, almost kitty like smile, the second is filled with cheer and the third is an adourable sleepy expression with Miku yawning with tears in her eyes, fitting for the nocturnal theme of the stars and the fact she comes with a pillow.
The slight blush, the tiny white dots on her cheecks that lighten her expression, they all increase her charm.
And now something else I also adoure about her.
Her hair.
Instead than Miku’s usual green hair, Snow Miku have azure hair, fading into white, adourned with star snowflakes and tied into two beautifully long and detailed twintails, not her usual straight twintails but poofy twintails with strands fluttering away from them and the tips curling. Her frontal hair are hold in place by a gold starshaped pin, also beautiful and do we want to talk of the ribbon tying her twintails?
Long, blue but they also fading in white, adourned with a penragram, gold star and snow crystals, their tails falling so beautifully along Miku’s hair.
Ah, they’re a work of art!
(On a sidenote the tails of the ribbons are attached to the twintails, but the ribbons are actually a separate piece which is inserted with a peg in Muku’s head and therefore can’t be used on other Nendo. I was afraid to remove it in fear of breaking it so I’ve never tried doing it but I guess it can be done. I just wouldn’t recommend it as it would be a pity to break it.)
Anyway I ABSOLUTELY love her hair.
And, of course, as in many Mikus, it’s long enough to allow her to stand without a stand, supported by her hair only.
She’s such a cutie, isn’t she?
And now two words on Yukine.
Yukine is really, really cure, with that blue scarf with stars at the end and that star on his head. The winking expression makes Yukine look mischievous and a perfect pet for Miku.
Yukine’s head can be removed, she means one can also turn it in different directions... but apart for it there’s nothing else that can be moved.
In case you were wondering yes, Yukine has a tail, which in this version seems to be star shaped (Yukine’s tail changes shape according to the theme).
Accessories now as Snow Miku comes with a bunch of them.
For start there’s a lovely table with a starry tablecloth.
It’s really cute although it reminds me of a fortuneteller table.
You can rest on it this lovely tea cup with a cute snow crystal on it.
Although it’s meant to be drank Miku doesn’t come with a hand to hold it so you can just rest it on the table. Also I couldn’t remove it from the plate. Maybe it’s possible and mine just is a little hard but I didn’t want to break it.
In order to sit around the table Yukine and Miku can use two very special chairs, shaped as snow clouds!
As you can see there’s a concavity for Miku and Yukine’s bodies so as to hold them in place. The below surface is flat so you can rest them on each surface but you can’t connect them to the stand.
Miku and Yukine though can sit still on them without needing stands so maybe that’s on purpose.
We continue with this snow crystal part for Miku to walk on.
In trasparent blue plastic, it’s beautiful and gives me a Frozen feeling, making me think of when Elsa runs away from her palace on a bridge she created with snow and ice.
We continue with an icy music stand to use with her baton so she can direct her starry orchestra.
It’s really cute.
If I’ve to be honest the only thing I’m not too fond of is the ‘musical effect’.
Those two transparent plastic stripes with snow, stars and music themes are to be attached to this starry piece, each strip should slid into the space in between each star.
The ring at the bottom (in the pic placed at the right so you won’t have a too long image) is meant to be inserted in the brace that support Miku like this.
The overall effect doesn’t really impress me much...
...but of course it might be just me. Also as the stripes aren’t that soft they weren’t really happy to be bend into circles. Maybe I overworry but I was afraid they would snap the stars holding them.
Now… poses.
They’re all adourable and easy to get. Maybe the one who’s a little more of a nuisance is the one with the star and music effect above exactly due to them not being that comfortable to latch around Miku. But maybe it’s just me.
Would anyone who’s not fan of Vocaloids or of Hatsune Miku, want to buy her?
Well, as said above I’m TOTALLY partial to her. She’s adourable, extremely cute and I just can’t resist her.
I think she’s totally worth being bought, her spare parts are also very nice, the sitting part as far as I’m involved is always a plus, she comes with cute furniture and her yawning expression is so sweet and her hair and dress are beautiful and... well I love her.
She’s expensive, true, but for me she’s totally worth it.

The Protégé
Pairing: MadaSaku
Plot: In search of a new cellist for his prestigious orchestra, an infamously feared maestro stumbles upon a young rising star. Modern day AU.
Note: Sooo yeah, I dunno, I did a thing? And now the thing has been done and wants to be shared. This idea has been floating through my head for the last couple of days and I just absolutely had to write it down. I’ve never been part of an orchestra, so please just ignore the fuck out of any irregularities and mistakes. Hope you like it, let me know what you think.
Also, please watch this video before reading the chapter, as this is the piece Sakura will be playing. I feel like you really need to hear/watch it beforehand to be able to fully dive into the musical experience I’m so desperately trying (but probably failing) to describe. Also sharing it simply because it’s fucking awesome. Enjoy.
“Why is she getting a solo again? This isn’t part of our usual programme.”
Someone next to her made a shushing sound.
“You know why,” whispered her seatmate while leaning down to her face. “She’s the star of the show.”
“She’s been with us for more than a year now, she never got a solo before. What’s so different tonight?”
Another shush. This time accompanied by an angry glare and a finger pressed tightly against a pair of lips. She shot the shusher a fake smile, gave a tiny, barely audible grunt of contempt and leaned back in her seat. As she watched the person in question approach the seat at the centre of the stage amidst excited applause, she had to supress the urge to roll her eyes, fully aware of the cameras surrounding them.
A tap on her shoulder made her turn her head slightly to the left, as she felt another voice whisper in her ear, “Rumour has it the maestro gave her the solo tonight, because somebody asked her to. Supposedly another conductor who’s trying to poach her.”
Her eyes went wide as she turned her gaze from the girl getting ready underneath the spotlight at the centre of the stage to the person sitting behind her. “Why the hell would she even agree to that? If I were a conductor and someone was trying to poach my best musician, I’d lock her up instead of presenting her on a silver platter. Besides, our maestro doesn’t even like any of the other conductors, she thinks she’s better than all of them. I can’t think of a single one she would do this for.”
Another shush. Another glare. Another finger.
They all momentarily turned their gazes to the front and listened to the last bit of their maestro’s short speech introducing the solo and its musicians. There was that whisper behind her again.
“Well, rumour has it that he recently kicked out a cellist and is looking for a replacement.”
Her jaw dropped. It couldn’t be. With wide eyes, she frantically searched the large concert hall as if she could spot the infamous conductor somewhere in the sea of guests enveloped in darkness. She suddenly felt her nervousness grow into exorbitant heights while at the same time feeling her confidence shrink to the size of a peanut. He had that effect on musicians.
Her heart was now beating to the beat of the Radetzky March, and she was afraid it was so loud her seatmate would hear it when he leaned towards her again. “Don’t be jealous. I hope he does take her on. At some point, she won’t be able to meet his crazy high expectations and that’ll be the end of Miss Goody Two-Shoes. He’ll eat her alive.”
Sakura watched her fellow cellist approach the two seats in the middle from the stage entrance on the other end. As she let the applause of the audience wash over her, her right hand went to the left sleeve of her white blouse to roll it up to her elbows and do the same on the other side. Normally, such an unkempt look was an absolute no-go in the world of classical music. Everything had to be ironed, styled, and made-up to perfection – they were, after all, Tsunade Senju’s orchestra. However, for this particular performance, both cellists were allowed the singular exception of discarding their suit jackets and rolling up their sleeves.
Grabbing a hold of her beloved instrument and settling it between her spread legs, she listened to her maestro explain her two cellists’ dishevelled look and assuring the audience that they will soon realise why the musicians need a bit more freedom of movement from their restricting concert outfits. Their maestro went on to explain that even though this was supposed to be a solo for the principal cellist – Sakura – the piece nevertheless required another to accompany her.
Setting down the microphone on her music stand, Tsunade gave her two cellists a silent nod and retreated to the back of the stage, where the rest of the orchestra was sitting underneath dimmed stage lights.
Sakura exchanged a knowing look with her cellist partner and took a deep breath. Lowering her head and silently setting her bow onto the four strings of her Knilling Maestro cello, she positioned her fingers onto the neck and started to play.
Perfectly in tune with one another, the two musicians let a harmonic, baroque melody engulf the audience while their fingers deftly wandered across their cello’s neck and their bows carefully drew over the strings with years of hard practice and musical passion.
The melody started out slow, gingerly eliciting the sounds from their instruments. Sakura’s experienced fingertips caressed the neck while her bow glid across the strings like a gentle breeze over a valley. While the first few bars of their piece were very classical, careful, and conservative, the melody slowly picked up its pace. The gentle breeze turned into a gust of wind as Sakura’s hands no longer caressed her instrument but gripped it with a starved passion. The two cellists seemed to be goading each other with their frenzied movements and the fast-paced melody, the gust of wind growing ever stronger, the originally careful tune of their piece long since replaced with hectic staccati and exhilarating chords.
And then, Sakura locked eyes with her partner, and they unleashed a hurricane.
At this point, she could no longer keep still. Her feet were tapping on the floor, her entire body writhing in her seat, longing to be part of the melody, and her head was bobbing up and down to the beat of their rendition of AC/DC’s Thunderstruck. What the two musicians were doing to their cellos now was bordering on instrumental torture, mercilessly yanking on the strings and dragging their bows across them with such a force half of the horse hairs had already snapped.
As they neared the finale of their piece, Sakura could feel her lips spreading into an excited smile and with one last forceful, passionate draw of her bow, she silenced the hurricane.
The principal cellist took a few seconds to regain her breath and only when she heard the thunderous applause of the audience in front of her did Sakura raise her head to peek at them through the strands of her hair that were ripped out of her sleek chignon through the force of her headbanging and were now hanging in her face. Quickly pulling the loose strands behind her ear, she stood up, leaned her cello against her chair, and joined her partner at the front of the stage. With her haggard bow still in her right hand, she offered her left to her fellow cellist and together, they raised their arms, smiling broadly, basked in the admiration of their audience for a few seconds before bowing deeply.
“Are you going to tell her today?”
Tsunade took another sip of her coffee while her eyes scanned over the sheet music for the symphony they were going to rehearse today.
“Of course not.”
She could feel her publicist’s expectant gaze boring into her back without turning her gaze away from her desk. Shizune sighed and asked again, “Are you at least going to tell her about the Sapporo concert?”
“No, I’m not and you know why. So stop bugging me.”
“Because he asked you to? Seriously, when have you ever done something someone asked of you, especially him.”
“I didn’t do it for him, I did it for her. He was absolutely right to ask it of me. He needed to see her perform without the pressure, without knowing what’s expecting her, without any doubts or hopes obscuring and tarnishing her performance.”
Shizune sucked in her bottom lip and let her worried gaze fall on the newspaper next to her. They were once again sitting in Tsunade’s spacious office inside the Kyoto Concert Hall, discussing the future of their orchestra’s best musician. While the maestro seemed to have her mind made up, Shizune still had doubts.
She picked up the paper and let her eyes rest on the picture that took up half a page in the Arts & Culture section. It was a photograph of their principal cellist, Sakura Haruno, taken during their recent concert in Sapporo, right after her solo performance of AC/DC’s Thunderstruck. The young woman is seen with both arms raised, one holding the hand of her fellow cellist and the other her half-wrecked bow, her dishevelled hair framing her beautiful young face, grinning like a maniac. Next to it, there was a review of their concert and praise upon praise for her performance and above it, written in bold letters: IMPERATRIX FURIOSA – SAKURA HARUNO BOLDLY TAKES JAPAN’S CLASSICAL MUSIC SCENE TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
“I’m not sure what this kind of medial coverage will do to someone so young. So far, I was able to shield her from prying eyes and the many interview requests, but if she signs on with him, that will unleash publicity hell upon her. I mean, she’s only 20 and she’s only been playing professionally for three years now and the public already has an unhealthy level of interest in her. She already has a nickname, for heaven’s sake. Do you know what they are calling her?”
Tsunade grinned from behind her coffee cup. “The Furious Empress.”
Shizune sighed, strode over to her best friend’s desk, and let the newspaper fall right on top of her sheet music. With a perfectly manicured finger, she pointed to the picture of Sakura and said, “This is what a Tsunade Senju-level of fame looks like for her. Imagine what it will be like with him. They will eat her alive. And I doubt that he has a publicist who looks after the young, inexperienced, and vulnerable musicians like I do, much less that he himself even cares. Do you really want to do this to her?”
The blonde conductor sighed and set down her coffee cup. “You make it sound like I’m sacrificing her to some evil volcano god.”
Throwing one last glance at the picture of her best musician, she turned around in her chair and fixed her best friend with a determined stare. “I have nothing to teach her anymore. She surpassed my expectations faster than I even expected her to meet them. She needs new challenges, and as much as I hate to admit it, he can offer her that. He’s got the bigger gigs, the bigger stages, the bigger audiences, and the more challenging pieces, though I would rather eat a shoe or set myself on fire before ever admitting to that in front of him.”
Tsunade got out of her chair and stalked over to her beloved, overpriced coffee machine before turning around and pointing her index finger at her best friend, glowering, “Now I will have that stuck-up Armani potato sit in the control room, unannounced and unnoticed, listening to our rehearsal as he requested and you will tell no one of this, especially not Sakura.”
The pink-haired cellist was busy packing up her sheet music and her cello when she suddenly heard the booming voice of her maestro calling out to her. “Ms Haruno, would you mind seeing me in my office in five minutes?”
It was a rhetorical question of course, Tsunade didn’t give her time to answer as she was already stalking off the stage. The pink-haired cellist followed the retreating figure of her conductor with a confused gaze, before being distracted by a hand on her shoulder. Turning her head, she was met with the face of another fellow cellist, Amy.
“Great rehearsal today, Sakura. I loved how you played the decrescendo in the end. I was just wondering if you could show me real quick how you do that. It just doesn’t sound quite right with me.”
“Sure, no problem. But I’ll have to be quick. Maestro wants to see me in five minutes.”
Sakura gave it her best to concentrate on Amy’s playing and give her tips, but in her mind, she was already in Tsunade’s office, contemplating what she might have to discuss with her. Their maestro rarely had her musicians come into her office for private talks, she usually said everything she needed to say during rehearsals in front of the entire orchestra.
Biting her bottom lip, she remembered the newspaper article she read this morning. Was it her appearance after her solo? Maybe she did look more dishevelled and ungraceful than she thought. It couldn’t have been her performance; Tsunade herself said how pleased she was and the rave reviews spoke for themselves. So what was it, then?
After finishing with Amy and packing up her things, Sakura made her way to her maestro’s office with a nervous feeling in the pit of her stomach. She could hear hushed voices from afar, one undeniably male, so she remained rooted to the spot, waiting for her conductor’s previous appointment to leave. When she realised the man made no move to vacate Tsunade’s office, she slowly approached it, only to see the doors were opened halfway.
Casting a careful glance into the part of the office that was visible to her, she only saw her conductor and decided to make herself known with a knock on the door.
“Ms Haruno, come in.”
Her maestro hurriedly ushered her into her office and it was then Sakura saw the annoyed expression on her face. Dear God, she really was in trouble.
“Ms Haruno, there’s somebody I would like you to meet,” Tsunade said slowly, her mouth set in a grim line.
Before Sakura could ask what was going on, she could hear a deep baritone behind her. “It is a pleasure to meet you, Ms Haruno.”
Sakura turned around and gasped. Her eyes widened in disbelief and glued themselves reverently to the man in front of her.
“I’m Madara Uchiha.”

MAY 2019 DIMENSIONS ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULES & REVIEW
Members may earn 3 points each (up to 6 points) for writing, by the end of May 31 KST:
A solo para of 400+ words based on their monthly schedule (does not count toward your monthly total).
A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) based on their monthly schedule.
Threads do not have to take place directly during an important date listed on the schedule, but must be related to what the muse is mentioned to be doing in the paragraph explaining their schedule/the company’s schedule for the month and/or their thoughts on the mentioned activities or lack thereof.
These schedules may be updated throughout the month if new information needs to be added.
Overall Company
The Dimensions United summer photo book and video package that the idols have already shot for releases next month, so this month, the video portion of the package will be finished and all idols under the label will be given short interviews on what Dimensions United means to them, their hopes for the rest of 2019, and how they feel about the year so far. This will obviously be expected to be positive toward Dimensions in tone and will be edited as such. There will also be miscellaneous recording throughout the month during different artist’s practices, studio sessions, and some (mostly staged) interactions between idols under the company to push a family image.
Important dates:
N/A
Dimensions Soloist 1
After her goodbye stage on the first of the month, most of the rest of the month will be spent in heavy tour rehearsal. She kicks off her tour this month with a concert at the end of the month in Seoul. Next month, she’ll be embarking on the North American leg of her tour.
Important dates:
May 1: End of music show promotions.
May 25: Yonsei University Festival performance (also performing: Lipstick, Gold Star Soloist 1, and Femme Fatale).
May 26: Warning Tour concert at Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul, South Korea.
Dimensions Soloist 2
His new album drops at the end of the month. His second album didn’t do quite as well as his first, so Dimensions hopes this one will do better to show promise to be able to pull off successful first solo concert. He has filming for not only his music video, but also several promotional videos this month, as well as a performance at KCON Japan to start to reach outside of the domestic market.
Important dates:
May 17: Performance at KCON Japan MCountdown.
May 20: Twenty Favorite Things video filming/recording (to be released after comeback).
May 27: Release of “Twenty-Something” & mini album showcase, promotions continue until May 29.
May 31: Run To You filming.
Gal.actic
Dimensions wants Gal.actic to lay low until their summer comeback to focus on letting the bad press die down now that the press conference is out of the way, so they’ll begin recording for their summer album this month. The track list is still in flux, so songs may still be cut and added. Ultimately, the album will consist of two new group songs and solos by four of the members (Leader/main vocal, vocal, lead vocal, and lead rapper/lead dancer/vocal). Now that the injunction has been dropped, Gal.actic has also booked a university festival performance and a performance at KCON, even if it’s only during the convention portion instead of the main MCountdown show.
Important dates:
May 10: Seokyung University Festival performance (also attending: BEE).
May 17: Convention performance at KCON Japan (also performing: MARS).
Alien
May will be a break month compared to how busy Alien has been lately. They’re releasing the Japanese version of “Shoot Out” and performing at KCON, but other than that, they’re encouraged to get more rest than usual since Dimensions doesn’t plan for them to get much rest at all in the second half of the year. Preparations for their next comeback won’t be kicking into full gear yet, but there will be a few meetings about concepts and goals for it.
Important dates:
May 13: Release of Japanese single version of “Shoot Out”.
May 18: Performance at KCON Japan MCountdown (also performing: MARS and Decipher).
MARS

For this month’s cover project, the members will get to choose their own solo or duet vocal, rap, or dance covers that will be uploaded throughout the month. The company guidelines will be that the cover songs must be serious (no gag/parody covers), appropriate for upload, and they must be able to be filmed in the company building with one camera and cameraman without additional cost of production value (like any major costumes, set, props, lighting, etc.).
*Reminder* All members must be moved out of the dorm by May 24.

May 17: Convention performance at KCON Japan (also performing: Gal.actic).
May 18: Performance at KCON Japan MCountdown (also performing: Alien and Decipher).
May 25: Hallyu PopFest Singapore (also performing: MARS).
7ROPHY
For the first time since their debut, 7ROPHY has been a highly requested group for university festivals, and Dimensions is taking advantage of the opportunity to get some additional income through booking them for a couple of performances this month, both at said festivals and other concerts. Their recent success also means higher-ups are eager to get a mini-album out this year, and the track list for that will be completed by the end of the month with songs and concepts finalized.

Lucid
Lucid weren’t invited to perform at any university festivals last year, but this year, the demand for them has skyrocketed following “Glass Bead”’s release, and they’ve been booked for their first ever university festival performances accordingly. Additionally, behind the scenes, the members will be finishing learning choreography for their comeback and then filming the music video mid-month as well as doing album jacket photo shoots.
Important dates:

[TRANSLATION] Musical Touken Ranbu Kashuu Kiyomitsu Tanki Shutsujin 2018: Nitro+ Producer and Touken Ranbu Staff Digitarou’s Tweets throughout the Performance
A compilation and translation of the Tweets from Nitro+ Producer and Touken Ranbu Staff Digitarou about the “Musical Touken Ranbu Kashuu Kiyomitsu Tanki Shutsujin 2018″.
Featuring Sato Ryuji as Kashuu Kiyomitsu
Digitarou @digitarou (Genepro performance, Tokyo) [1]
The Musical Touken Ranbu Kashuu Kiyomitsu has powered-up and returned. This is the [photo of] Kiyomitsu from the Genepro performance that I wasn't able to upload because I didn't have the spare time yesterday. A prayer that they will be able to perform without any injuries until the final performance!
Digitarou @digitarou (Pre-performance, Osaka)
For the purpose of cheering on the Musical Touken Ranbu Kashuu Kiyomitsu 2018, using a rented car, we travelled from Kyoto to the Toyonaka Performing Arts Center. [2] It's a new and very beautiful building!
Digitarou @digitarou (Post-performance, Osaka)
The Toumyu Kashuu Tanki Osaka, it was a magnificent performance! Although there is an ensemble who are like the troops that he [Sato Ryuji as Kashuu Kiyomitsu] has been equipped with [3], to depart to the front lines while shouldering the expectations of the masters [all on his own] as the sole sword is truly challenging/tough, and I was shot straight through the heart by the way he fought the battle so valiantly. I was worried about his health/physical condition, but after seeing his spirited and lively figure in the dressing room backstage, I was reassured. Best of luck, and I pray that he'll be able to safely fight all the way through until the final performance!
Digitarou @digitarou (Pre-first performance, Hokkaido)
Sapporo with the perfect Kashuu Tanki Shutsujin weather. The kindergarten children having fun at Odori Park are cute..
Digitarou @digitarou (Pre-first performance, Hokkaido)
This looks like it'd be good as a gift for the production.
Digitarou @digitarou (Pre-first performance, Hokkaido)
The scenery from Doshin Hall makes me feel good. Praying that Toumyu's first performance in Hokkaido [4] will be a success (-人-)
Digitarou @digitarou (Post-first performance, Hokkaido) [5]
Kashuu Tanki Sapporo. It is because it was a compact hall that it was a stage with a concentrated charm! As always, I cry at the manifestation of Kashuu.
Digitarou @digitarou (Pre-final performance, Hokkaido)
Due to my schedule, I departed from Sapporo without being able to attend the final performance. While praying for their success.
Additional Information:
One of the ensemble cast members, Ohno Ryota, fell ill and had to withdraw from the Tokyo performance run, and so the team performed with one member down until he rejoined them for the Miyagi performance run.
Expanding on the “Musical Touken Ranbu Kashuu Kiyomitsu Tanki Shutsujin 2017″, the “Musical Touken Ranbu Kashuu Kiyomitsu Tanki Shutsujin 2018″ is the first ever solo character live tour to be produced in the franchise history of the “Musical Touken Ranbu” and the genre of 2.5D.
The Sendai and Hokkaido performances of the “Musical Touken Ranbu Kashuu Kiyomitsu Tanki Shutsujin 2018″ are the first time in franchise history that the “Musical Touken Ranbu” has ever done performances in Miyagi and Sapporo respectively.
NOTE:
[1] A Genepro performance is an official performance of a stage production before the production is open for public viewing. This is the performance that reporters, journalists and other media staff are invited to for their coverage on the production. Invitations are also extended to other staff involved in the production.
[2] Digitarou-san was in Kyoto the day before for the KYOTO NIPPON FESTIVAL 2018 where there was a collaboration done with Touken Ranbu. Kyoto is a one to two hour drive away from Osaka.
[3] The way Digitarou-san refers to the ensemble cast as “the troops that he has been equipped with” is a reference to the actual Touken Ranbu game where the player are allowed to equip their swords with things, like troops and horses, to aid them in battle. For more information about this, please refer to this page: HERE
[4] The Hokkaido performances of the “Musical Touken Ranbu Kashuu Kiyomitsu Tanki Shutsujin 2018″ is the first time in franchise history that the “Musical Touken Ranbu” has ever done performances in Sapporo.
[5] In his Tweet, Digitarou-san also promoted the DMM live stream for the final performance of the “Musical Touken Ranbu Kashuu Kiyomitsu Tanki Shutsujin 2018″.
