uhhhhhh i grew up in a really conservative household so nobody ever like…talked about gay people or gay culture at all tbh. i guess thinking being gay was a bad thing to be ashamed of??? because everyone i knew used it as an insult. idk.

29. what is the most uncomfortable / strange coming out experience you have

when i accidentally came out as a lesbian to my family we were having dinner and i was telling my mom about this boy named cameron at my college who kept harassing me even though i told him i wasn’t interested and my dad, who wasn’t listening, said “i thought you were talking about cameron diaz” and my brother, who was only half listening, said “don’t be silly jim isn’t a lesbian” and i choked on my salad and. that’s my coming out story folks.
