Question for Ghost House AU: Is this a horror-comedy or pure horror?

Given the violent nature of some of the deaths... it would lean into horror at times, but it's mostly for comedy. The thought of a ghosty competition for scaring off tenants is hilarious to me 😂 like Scooby Doo and the Boo Brothers.

TMNT FAN BASE INQUIRY

aeHey y’all! Here’s the deal, our amazing turtle family is chock full of fan artists, fan writers, cosplayers, mutuals, shit-poster’s, content creators, and just a lovely array of people from all walks of life who love and appreciate all things TMNT.

I’m pleased to announce that I have a large project that I will soon be embarking on. This project will touch down on several topics and discussions based on and around everyone’s favorite green boys.

The project will address things like content-creator interviews, (constructive) fandom discussions, sketches (of the acting variety,) in-depth character analysis, Q&A’s, Fandom News, Comic/Cartoon/Movie/Game reviews, Polls, addressing fandom discourse, fan content shout outs and highlights, TMNT mutual OC and muse appreciation, NSFW hour, and more! Oh, and did I mention that it will be almost entirely from a female-base introspect?! 

What is this project, you ask? It’s a Vlog-cast!

Clearly, said project is still in the “early development” stage, so there’s still a lot that needs to be done before the premier; but once everything is up and running, I will post an episode schedule for your convenience. If all goes as planned, a new vlog-cast episode should air at least once a week, with each episode ranging from 5 to 15 minutes. Each episode will consist of a few or more segments dedicated to each topic, and each topic will be selected from the aforementioned category list above and below. 

All episodes (when released) will be posted to my secondary blog that is solely dedicated to the show. The blog in question will be made public and available for viewing as soon as it’s finished being completed. I will make a post on my main linking it to the new page as soon as it’s up.

Here’s where YOU come in:

This vlog-cast is intended to cater to our very tight-knit, turtle tumblr fam (try saying that ten times fast lol,) but I also want it to appeal to the casual fan. This means that I’m going to attempt to make this endeavor as interactive as possible.

That being said...this show needs things to talk about!!

I really want this vlog-cast to cover topics that you, the viewer, are actually interested in. There isn’t much that I’m not willing to talk about, but the dream behind this show is to have it almost entirely made up of fan-suggested content. With that in mind, I am reaching out to all of you (mutuals and casual fans alike) and inquiring as to what you’d like to see in upcoming vlog-cast episodes! 

Below I’ve compiled a list of suggestions and idea’s that have already been brought to my attention and will possibly used as vlog-cast topics in the future. Give them a looksie, and if you’re feeling inspired or if there’s a topic you’d like to see discussed on the show, drop me a suggestion in my ask box.

TMNT Mutual OC and Muse Appreciation (a segment where we pick a TMNT mutual blog and talk about their OC or muse)

Fan-Content Creator Interviews (a segment that specializes in face-to-face interviews, featuring your favorite content creators!)

NSFW Hour (a special segment that will be introduced with an age warning and tagged as nsfw)

Anon Asks (a segment where I read anonymous asks on the show)

and Q&A’s (send in a question about anything and I’ll answer it on the show)

That’s it turtle fam! Go ahead and take a look at the categories and send in your suggestions and asks if you have them. I’ll post regular production updates and when the new blog is up and running, I’ll announce it on my main. Until then, I will tag all updates as “Shell Talk.”

aright yall, in the last 24 hours i’ve:

-learned that destiel, a ship i dont ship from a tv show that i never watched (but would have had to live under a rock to not know about), went canon in the final season -learned that putin was claimed to have been stepping down through a shitpost about destiel going canon -watched the internet essentially implode -stayed up until four fucking am making and laughing over memes and shitposts about this whole thing -woke up to georgia and pennsylvania going blue -saw 2 of my destielputinelection shitposts get 2k+ notes and one get 20 fucking k+  -found out my blog has amassed over 100K notes on my original posts -......and surpassed 1000 followers

this is so wild to me that first of all i even have followers and second that i have This Many, like wtf?? huh?? 

first i wanna thank all my newsies friends and followers and everyone who read my fics and was on my taglist because y'all...im still chasing the high of That Fandom it was hands down one of the best things ive been a part of and i know theres still a lot of you following me so :)

next up we have my witcher followers and new friends and people who have read and given my fics love and who are on my tag list because holy fuck this is such a great fandom too and im having so much fucking fun?? like the hell?? thank y'all for being so welcoming :)

id also especially like to thank people who have interacted with my fics because this blog was originally created to see if i was “a good enough” writer and see if people found my stuff interesting so i could determine if it was worth studying in college. and the love ive gotten on my fics over the years has been more than i literally ever could have asked for and it is because of fanfiction and all of you that have read what ive put out that ive been able to become so much more confident in my writing and also get a degree in it at college so for that alone im just infinitely grateful <3

Três duplas deverão dar o seu melhor para esculpir abóboras no tema de Halloween. A dupla que fizer o melhor trabalho sairá vencedora do desafio.

Importante! Cada dupla fará a missão isoladamente, em um campo de abóboras, e só depois de o programa ir ao ar o público irá escolher qual o melhor trabalho.

MISSÃO 2 — Undercover

Três idols irão a uma festa de Halloween da emissora. Terão que escolher fantasias estratégicas, com o intuito de que não sejam reconhecidos. Se conseguirem manter a identidade de idols secreta até o fim da festa, terão sucesso na missão.

MISSÃO 3 — Haunted House

Três duplas viajarão para o Japão afim de passar pela casa assombrada mais assustadora do mundo. Localizada no parque de diversões Fuji-Q Highland, o Labyrinth Of Fear é mundialmente conhecido por ter um enorme número de pessoas que não conseguem chegar até seu fim. A dupla ganhadora será aquela que terminar - se terminar - o percurso em menos tempo.

MISSÃO 6 — Scary Session

Duas salas de cinema serão fechadas e dois trios irão ficar completamente sozinhos para assistir a um filme assustador. As câmeras captarão todos os sustos e gritos, e o grupo que tiver menos reações ao filme será o ganhador do desafio.

Importante! Durante o filme, sem avisar, a equipe enviará pessoas vestidas de monstros e algumas outras formas de assustar aos participantes, a fim de conseguir mais reações.

Os três idols terão que preparar um jantar repleto de pratos, guloseimas e decorações, completamente baseado no Halloween. O staff avaliará o banquete e dirá se a missão foi um sucesso.

MISSÃO 9 — Lights, camera, action!

As duas duplas deverão criar uma história de terror digna de cinema e, com o equipamento fornecido pela equipe, gravar um curta-metragem. O melhor filme será votado pelos fãs após o programa ir ao ar.

MISSÃO 10 — Happy halloween!

Os quatro idols deverão, juntos, organizar uma festa de Halloween memorável para o melhor dos públicos: pacientes de um hospital voltado ao combate de câncer infantojuvenil. No fim, os próprios convidados avaliarão se a missão foi ou não um sucesso.

MISSÃO 11 — Hour of the dead

Os três idols deverão se preparar para passar a noite em um cemitério, onde terão que cumprir uma missão: encontrar o próprio túmulo munido apenas de uma lanterna, que estará no meio de todos os outros. Àqueles que encontrarem e tirarem uma foto na lápide terão direito de voltar para o acampamento. 

Importante! Os staffs estarão pregando peças assustadoras durante todo o percurso.

MISSÃO 12 — Rumor

Duas fábricas abandonadas: duas histórias diferentes. Moradores locais dizem ouvir vozes, ver vultos e sentir calafrios ao chegar perto dos dois prédios. Até onde isso é verdade? A produção do programa desafia duas duplas a explorarem dois lugares diferentes. Pedaços de informações e pistas sobre a história e origem das fábricas serão espalhadas pelo prédio e os idols devem reuní-las para entender o porquê de os lugares serem tão mal-vistos. A dupla que reunir as pistas e descobrir o mistério em menos tempo será a vencedora.

Importante! História, localização e pistas ficarão a critério dos players, que podem usar e abusar da criatividade.
